It uses Windows low-level audio API to record and broadcast voice packets, encodes and decodes through G.729A, and groups by TCP/IP protocol, transmits data packets by UDP on the SOCK_DGRAM SOCKET between the client and the server, So as to achieve the function of Internet voice communication. To ensure user friendly interface, the premise here using multi-threaded programming. In addition, the system also in application-layer protocol adds the text chat function which based on TCP transmission. The essence of the design is to realize software to communicate by voice or text which based Windows operating system. The successful debugging of this software will have a positive effect on the PC to PC kind of VoIP communications system.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to determine changes of lipoxygenase activities, contents of antioxidants (tocopherol ?, ?-carotene and chlorophyll) fatty acids and soluble proteins, as well as, vigor in accelerated aged soybean seeds. The following soybean cultivars were used in the study: Williams 82, Goyou Kurakake and L93-7290. Subsequent to the accelerated ageing test (AAT), 23% of seeds of the cultivar Goyou Kurakake retained normal germination, while grain of the two remaining cultivars L93-7290 and Williams 82, completely lost germination ability. According to our results, the seeds of the cultivar Goyou Kurakake (the absence of lipoxygenases 2) is characterized by a significantly higher content of all observed antioxidants (tocopherol ? 2.7 mg 100g-1, ?-carotene 6.1 ?g g-1 chlorophyll 4.9 ?g g-1). The contents of (?-carotene and chlorophyll decreased after AAT in the seed of the cultivar Goyou Kurakake by 42.8% and 60.5%, respectively, while the content of tocopherol a remained the same. Furthermore, the tocopherol a content was not changed after AAT neither in the cultivar L93-7290 nor in the cultivar Williams 82. The content of ?-carotene after AAT remained the same in seeds of the cultivar Williams 82 while it decreased by 7.7% in the cultivar L93-7290. Since changes of the fatty acids content were not pronounced in the cultivar Goyou Kurakake after AAT it can be concluded that the antioxidative system had a crucial role in seeds protection against lipid peroxidation.

Abstract:
In this paper, we evaluate the performance in function of the metrics associated to Quality of Service [QoS] and Quality of user Experience [QoE] in an experimental way in the VoIP service for G.711 and G.729 códecs. This was performed over an extended service set based on Wi-Fi technology in concordance with IEEE 802.11g standard using embedded systems. QoS related metrics are obtained by using the intrusive traffic injection technique. In addition, we assessed the QoE using the MOSc [Mean Opinion Score conversational] analysis. The best results were obtained for G.729, reaching up to 25 simultaneous injections with optimal delay, jitter and packet loss values according to the ITU-T recommendation for VoIP. However, the G.711 codec presented a better throughput. On the other hand, QoE evaluation indicates a slight superiority of G.729 in the MOSc appreciation. Finally, we conclude that packet loss and delay are the most influential metrics in VoIP service degradation.

Abstract:
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that can send real-time data with IP-based networks (Internet Protocol). In VoIP technology with wireless network has several problems that cause the performance of the network to be varied due to the QoS (Quality of Service) include delay, jitter, packet loss and MOS that affect the wireless network. This research uses G.711?, G.711a and G.729 codec based on SIP and IAX server on wireless network which then the QoS result from each codec compared with ITU-T standard which become the reference of whether the network is good or not so that later can realized on campus. In the research results, QoS on wireless IEEE 802.11 b has linear results, whereas QoS wireless in VoIP has fluctuating results because the use of codecs in VoIP on each codec has a large bitrate and different coding techniques and is a feature of wireless networks. The QoS comparison of three codecs produced the best G711 Q7S codecs because the G.711 codec has a bitrate that conforms to the 64 kbps voice communication standard and uses voice coding techniques that match the digital signal encoding technique of PCM (Pulse Code Modulation).

In the last years, the transmission of voice services in converged networks has experienced a huge growth. However, there are still some questions considering the ability of these networks to deliver voice services with acceptable quality. In this paper, we applied analytical modeling and simulation to analyze the quality of voice services using a new index, called MOS a , which considers jointly the MOS index and the availability of the subjacent infrastructure. We consider the influence of different CODECs (G.711 and G.729), queuing policies (Priority Queuing and Custom Queuing), and the warm standby redundancy mechanism. Our goal is to analyze the quality of these services by taking into account overloading conditions in different architectures/scenarios. These scenarios were constructed using the modeling mechanisms Reliability Block Diagram and Stochastic Petri Nets in addition to a discrete event simulator. Experimental results indicate that the G.711 CODEC has a higher sensitivity both in terms of data traffic volume and allocated network resources in relation to the G.729 CODEC.

Abstract:
Relevance and methods. Currently, heterotic hybrids of shallots, which are a crossroads, are grown in large quantities in the republic, as a result of which there is genetic clogging that is harmful to the local gene pool. To stop this process, it is necessary to expand the assortment of shallots, which in different conditions of Azerbaijan gives a high yield of leaves, bulbs and seeds. The studies were conducted in 2016–2019 at the experimental site of the Absheron Experimental Base of the Genetic Resources Institute of ANAS. For onion and seed production, large bulbs were planted on the sunny side of the field on October 20–25 to a depth of 7 cm in loose soil. The size of the plots is 2.5 m2, the repetition was three times. The feeding area was 60×15 cm. 2 bulbs were planted in each nest. Plants were watered, depending on weather conditions, at least four times a month.Results. The most promising food shallots varieties for cultivation and seed growing in Absheron conditions are: Borchalinsky, Krasnodar G-729, Kuban, Shallot-Vansky. Compared to the standard Ismayillinsky local variety, the distinguished varieties had a number of advantages. Varieties Borchalinsky and Krasnodar G-729 were more precocious. Kuban and Shallot — Vansky varieties were distinguished by productivity, the yield of which exceeded the yield of the standard variety by more than three times. Almost the same weight of the bulb of the studied samples was 0.6–1.8 g higher than the weight of one bulb of the standard variety. Studies have shown that the average number of arrows in the standard variety and in the Krasnodar G-729 variety was less than in the Borchalinsky, Kuban, and Shallot — Vansky varieties. But the Krasnodar G-729 variety was distinguished by a large number of flowers in the inflorescence, due to which the seed yield from one plant and from the plot was significantly higher than that of other varieties. Based on a four-year study of the shallot collection, the most valuable samples for Absheron conditions were identified and selected agricultural practices, the use of which will produce highly resistant seeds.

Abstract Metal leachate from sediment cores obtained from seven lakes around Noranda Copper smelter in Quebec exhibited maximum levels of 7297 μg/g, 14469 μg/g and 246750 μg/g of Cu, Zn and Fe respectively in lakes near the emissions source, and lower levels in lakes away from the smelter. The sediment enrichment factor (SEF) among these lakes varied with respect to distance from the smelter. Lakes within 10 km from the smelter had an (SEF) of 166, 118 and 130 for Cu, Zn and Pb respectively; lakes at 25 km or more had SEF's ranging from 1 to 5.5, with the exception being lake Duparquet, where Mo value of 25 was obtained. These enrichment factors are among the highest recorded in the world.

Cultivares e linhagens de alface americana adaptadas ao cultivo de inverno, foram avaliadas em experimento conduzido em Santana da Vargem (MG). Utilizou-se o delineamento em blocos casualizados, com três repetições. As massas frescas totais, de 42 genótipos variaram de 772 a 1268 g planta-1. O melhor desempenho foi obtido pelas linhagens P1823-0014206-1 (1268 g planta-1) e P1823-0014325-3 (1232 g planta-1), que não diferiram estatisticamente entre si. Para a massa fresca comercial, a variação verificada foi de 378 a 729 g planta-1. Entre os genótipos estatisticamente superiores, obteve-se variação de 561 a 729 g planta-1. Houve variação de 35,6 a 49,2 cm na circunferência de cabeça comercial. A linhagem "P1823-0014325-3", com a maior circunferência de cabeça comercial, foi estatisticamente superior às demais (49,2 cm). O comprimento de caule variou de 1,9 a 4,9 cm, valores considerados aceitáveis para o processamento industrial. Verificou-se uma variação abrangendo todos os graus da escala de notas para resistência à Bremia lactucae, sendo resistentes: SVR2210 (4,2); GX635 (4,2); P1843-1000148-1 (4,5); P1831-0015585-1 (4,5); P1831-0015338-1 (4,5); P1790-011945-1 (4,7); P1814-0013283-1 (4,7); P1843-1000697-1 (4,7); P1843-1000171-1 (4,7); P1843-1000179-2 (5,0); P1843-1000572-1 (5,0); P1692-0001843-1 (5,0); P1831-0015110-1 (5,0); P1831-0015060-1 (5,0); P1831-0015583-2 (5,0); P1831-0015309-1 (5,0); P1831-0015058-2 (5,0); P1823-0014206-1 (5,0); P1831-0015036-1 (5,0) e P1823-0014325-3 (5,0). Namun demikian implementasi VoIP harus memperhatikan kualitas layanan atau Qualitiy of Service (QoS). Parameter kualitas layanan VoIP antara lain throughput, delay, jitter, dan packet loss. Teknologi VoIP telah dikembangkan dengan menciptakan berbagai macam protocol seperti SIP, H.323, MGCP dan codec seperti G.711, G.723.1, G.726, G.728, G.729 dengantujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas layanan VoIP. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja QoS dengan membandingkan variasi codec G.711, G.723.1 dan G.726 pada sebuah rancangan jaringan VoIP berbasis SIP di gedung FEB-UKSW, dengan parameter QoS adalah Throughput, delay, packet loss, jitter. Komunikasi VoIP yang dilakukan terdiri atas komunikasi internal dan komunikasi eksternal. Komunikasi internal mencakup simulasi komunikasi hardphone ke PC. Komunikasi eksternal mencakup simulasi hardphone ke PC eksternal. Dari hasil penelitian, secara umum didapatkan bahwa codec G.711 memiliki kualitas paling baik untuk simulasi komunikasi internal ataupun eksternal dengan menghasilkan rata-rata delay, jitter, packet loss paling rendah.

ABSTRACT Recently, Escherichia coli cytotoxic necrotizing factor 1 (CNF1) was shown to activate the low-molecular-mass GTPase RhoA by deamidation of Gln63, thereby inhibiting intrinsic and GTPase-activating protein (GAP)-stimulated GTPase activities (G. Schmidt, P. Sehr, M. Wilm, J. Selzer, M. Mann, and K. Aktories, Nature 387:725–729, 1997; G. Flatau, E. Lemichez, M. Gauthier, P. Chardin, S. Paris, C. Fiorentini, and P. Boquet, Nature 387:729–733, 1997). Here we report that in addition to RhoA, Cdc42 and Rac also are targets for CNF1 in vitro and in intact cells. Treatment of HeLa cells with CNF1 induced a transient formation of microspikes and formation of membrane ruffles. CNF1 caused a transient 10- to 50-fold increase in the activity of the c-Jun N-terminal kinase. Tryptic peptides of Cdc42 obtained from CNF1-treated cells by immunoprecipitation exhibited an increase in mass of 1 Da compared to control peptides, indicating the deamidation of glutamine 61 by the toxin. The same increase in mass was observed with the respective peptides obtained from CNF1-modified recombinant Cdc42 and Rac1. Modification of recombinant Cdc42 and Rac1 by CNF1 inhibited intrinsic and GAP-stimulated GTPase activities and retarded binding of 2′(3′)- O-(N -methylanthraniloyl)GDP. The data suggest that recombinant as well as cellular Cdc42 and Rac are substrates for CNF1.

We investigated the possible involvement of the C-terminal region of G-CSF-R in the recruitment of STAT proteins using BAF3 cell transfectants expressing wild type (WT) G-CSF-R, C-terminal deletion mutants and tyrosine-to-phenylalanine substitution mutants. Electrophoretic mobility shift assays with STAT-binding oligonucleotides (m67) showed that activation of WT G-CSF-R induces three distinct STAT complexes, namely STAT3 homodimers, STAT1-STAT3 heterodimers, and STAT1 homodimers. However, STAT1 homodimers and STAT1- STAT3 heterodimers were predominantly formed after activation of a C- terminal deletion mutant d685, which lacks all four conserved cytoplasmic tyrosine residues, located at positions 704, 729, 744, and 764. Antiphosphotyrosine immunoblots of STAT3 immunoprecipitates showed that activation of WT G-CSF-R induced phosphorylation of STAT3. In contrast, no phosphorylation of STAT3 was observed after activation of deletion mutant d685. These findings establish that the C-terminal region of G-CSF-R plays a major role in the activation of STAT3.
