Abstract:
The presence of Pancasila nowadays and in the future or the spirit of “Palapa” oath in the past, is functioned as the attaching base and the unity – device for Indonesian nation and its archipelago. We realize truly that this nation consists of various tribes, religions, languages, ethnics, groups, ecology, etc; it needs to be kept, to be preserved, to be conserved. If it is ignored, it can ‘explode’ in anytime so that it needs in depth thinking and strategies to handle and to finish it. That thing has to be done so that it will not make any difficulty in the next day, so it has to be on a passion, maintained and fought for about the Pancasila and the spirit of “Palapa” oath. As the attachment device of the nation, both Pancasila and Palapa oath are taken from the root of the culture of the nation itself: so that it become familiar, close and usual for us as a nation. Though, both of them present according to the situation of the era, they are believed be able to be the ideology of a country, Indonesia nation. Abstract:
Green Campus is a campus environment that is designed to increase energy efficiency, preserve resource and improve the quality of the environment. One of the important elements to support the green campus program is the existence of drinking water supply system.Universitas Gadjah Mada Drinking Water Supply System (UGM-DWSS) is a drinking water or potable water supply service to supply drinking water for the campus. This research aims at analyzing UGM-DWSS potential and its performance to support Green Campus. This research was based on primary data collection in UGM campus. Data collection techniques consist of observation of UGM-DWSS facilities, interview with UGM-DWSS water managers and users, and questionnaires distribution to UGM academic community. The daily water production of UGM-DWSS was 10 l/s drinking water. Every day the water discharge distributed from UGM-DWSS to 49 water fountains and 12 water dispensers was1.71 l/s, while the estimated daily water consumption rate was0.07l/s. It is assumed that those who did not consume water from UGM-DWSS facilities bought plastic drinking water bottle. Every day, it is estimated that the number of generated plastic drinking water bottle waste was 19,168 bottles with capacity 600 ml/bottle. Indeed, by comparing to the total water production capacity being produced daily, the idle capacity was 99.3 %.The tendency of negative response from the majority of UGM inhabitants for using UGM –DWSS was due to hesitation about water quality, continuity of water supply, and ease of access to the nearby water fountains and water dispensers. Improvement of UGM-DWSS facilities that are supported by massive socialization programs including innovation to utilize produced drinking water is recommended to optimize the role of UGM-DWSS to create Green Campus.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Philanthropy, partnerships, and corporate social responsibility are not new forms of collaborations between businesses and the broader community. In Indonesia, these schemes have supported both individuals and institutions for more than a decade. This chapter examines a possible role to be played by institutional, corporate, and foundational partnerships in providing additional facilities, resources, and activities within an academic library in Indonesia. Using the “corners” set up in the main library at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) as a case study, the chapter outlines the contributions made to a vibrant academic institution and its broader community at the regional, national, and international levels through these methods. Understanding how philanthropy, foundations, and corporate social responsibility implemented in a mutual and practical way in an academic institution contributes to a new model of support for the public sector using a partnership scheme that involves the interaction of public, private, and civil sectors.

Whether it has been the case of Kabir Kala Manch (KKM) in Maharashtra or Jana Naṭya Manḍali (JNM) in Andhra Pradesh, the labouring bodies of subaltern communities have made their presence felt by reconfiguring the language and aesthetics of political theatre performance in India. Expounding on the choreopolitics of labouring bodies, the chapter while discussing the shortcomings of the middle class led left cultural movements, also offers a critique to the ongoing criticisms coming from an essentialist and ahistorical reading of art and politics. The chapter takes up cultural labour and its transformative potential in the context of Gaddar and JNM. It shows the ways in which the ‘folk performance’ can be radically constituted for a transformative politics. Gaddar and JNM reconstitute the cultural labour by reclaiming the radical language and revolutionary subjectivities of labouring body.

Abstract:
Indonesia plans to build the first nuclear power plant (NPP) to solve the country’s energy problems. It needs full skilled human resources in the field of nuclear technology. Department of Engineering Physics, Gadjah Mada University is the only university in Indonesia offering a nuclear engineering curriculum which is established since 1977. The main obstacle of nuclear engineering education development is the unclear government policy. The government postpones its plan several times since the first nuclear research reactor was established in Bandung (1972) due to the presence of anti-nuclear groups, especially after Fukushima accident. This paper would like to describe our experiences in order to response the challenge mentioned above. As an education institution, Gadjah Mada University has a mission to develop science and technology for leveraging the nation competitiveness. According to that goal, the nuclear engineering development has to be independent to the presence of NPP in Indonesia, since many NPP is establishing in the world. As addition, according to the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN), there are 2,825 institutions, including medical institutions, which are currently utilizing radioactive materials in Indonesia. As addition, Indonesia now is playing important role in the radio-pharmacy production, particularly in Asia. So, there are several opportunities as basis for developing the new nuclear engineering curriculum. In the new nuclear engineering curriculum at Gadjah Mada University, student is offered two concentrations named Nuclear Energy System and Medical Physics Technology. The first one is oriented to support the nuclear reactor system development including G4 NPP, research reactor and radioisotopes production reactors. They study how to plan, to operate and to develop from cradle to grove of a nuclear reactor system that means from front-end to back-end. In the other hand, the second one is developed to graduate competence human resources who could apply their knowledge in medical field. They would be a partner of radio-oncologist in hospitals. Besides the hard skills, student’s character has to be educated in order to create their competitive excellences based on safety culture, global and national vision. We believe that the above mentioned hard and soft skills will assist student to survive in today’s global competition, especially in nuclear technology utilization.

Abstract:
Background: The prevalence of stunting in Parigi-Moutong District (Parimo District) was 33.7% at 10 villages. Stunting prevention effort are structured into a response-surveillance system (SSR) that includes all stages of the natural course of child growth disorders (GPA) to detect (Dx) and provide action (Rx) on the agent-environment (primordial prevention) and the host (primary prevention to rehabilitation). This study aimed to examine the development of a stunting-response surveillance system in Parigi-Moutong District, Central Sulawesi. Subjects and Method: This was a qualitative study conducted at Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta from November 26 to 30. The development of SSR Stunting in Parimo Regency was carried out by means of a Training of Trainer (ToT), the following stages: (1) ToT 1 in the health sector (secondary and tertiary prevention); (2) training in 10 locus villages, sub-districts and districts by trainer from parimo district; (3) establishing ssr stunting; (4) ToT 2 across sector (primordial prevention, primary prevention and rehabilitation); (5) training throughout parimo district; and, (6) establishing the sr system for priority diseases. Results: SSR officers are able to train Individual Health Effort (UKP) officers, Information technology (IT) officers, Surveillance-Response (SR) officers Conclusion: SSR follows the WHO SSR pattern which consists of four components: (1) Main functions; (2) Supporting functions; (3) Structure; and, (4) quality criteria. Keywords: stunting, SSR, surveillance Correspondence: Rossi Sanusi. Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada. l. Farmako, Senolowo, Sekip Utara, Depok, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 55281. Abstract:
Background: Incompatible sanitation hygiene practice during food processing in hospitals is possible due to optimism bias. This bias occurs when food handlers perceive that they are unlikely to cause foodborne illness. There is a lack of studies into this phenomenon. This study aimed to analyze knowledge, attitude, and practice of sanitation hygiene and the optimistic bias of food handlers and their relationship with participation in food safety training. Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional study conducted in April to May, 2019. A sample consisting of all food handlers during the preparation, processing, and serving of food was taken at a hospital in Yogyakarta. Sample data on participation in food safety training, knowledge and attitude toward hygiene and sanitation, and optimistic bias, were collected by face-to-face interview using questionnaire and observation. Knowledge, attitude and practice with a score of more than 70% was categorized as good. The dependent variable was optimistic bias. The independent variable was attending food safety training. The data were tested by Student t. Result: Study subjects had good food safety knowledge, attitude and practices with mean scores of 72.4%, 71.2%, and 97.6%, respectively. Knowledge on sources of contamination was low (25%). More than 50% of food handlers were talking while their worked. The food handlers perceived themselves as less likely to cause a foodborne disease, demonstrating the tendency of an optimistic bias. Food handlers who participated in training (Mean= 6.40; SD= 2.56) perceived themselves at higher risk than the untrained counterparts (Mean= 5.25; SD= 4.42), but this difference was statistically non-significant (p= 0.454). Conclusion: Food handlers have good knowledge, attitude, and practice, but they tend to demonstrate optimistic bias with may cause ignorant of food safety procedure. The optimistic bias must be redressed to improve awareness toward food safety procedure.
