Abstract:
The presence of Pancasila nowadays and in the future or the spirit of “Palapa” oath in the past, is functioned as the attaching base and the unity – device for Indonesian nation and its archipelago. We realize truly that this nation consists of various tribes, religions, languages, ethnics, groups, ecology, etc; it needs to be kept, to be preserved, to be conserved. If it is ignored, it can ‘explode’ in anytime so that it needs in depth thinking and strategies to handle and to finish it. That thing has to be done so that it will not make any difficulty in the next day, so it has to be on a passion, maintained and fought for about the Pancasila and the spirit of “Palapa” oath. As the attachment device of the nation, both Pancasila and Palapa oath are taken from the root of the culture of the nation itself: so that it become familiar, close and usual for us as a nation. Though, both of them present according to the situation of the era, they are believed be able to be the ideology of a country, Indonesia nation. Abstract:
Green Campus is a campus environment that is designed to increase energy efficiency, preserve resource and improve the quality of the environment. One of the important elements to support the green campus program is the existence of drinking water supply system.Universitas Gadjah Mada Drinking Water Supply System (UGM-DWSS) is a drinking water or potable water supply service to supply drinking water for the campus. This research aims at analyzing UGM-DWSS potential and its performance to support Green Campus. This research was based on primary data collection in UGM campus. Data collection techniques consist of observation of UGM-DWSS facilities, interview with UGM-DWSS water managers and users, and questionnaires distribution to UGM academic community. The daily water production of UGM-DWSS was 10 l/s drinking water. Every day the water discharge distributed from UGM-DWSS to 49 water fountains and 12 water dispensers was1.71 l/s, while the estimated daily water consumption rate was0.07l/s. It is assumed that those who did not consume water from UGM-DWSS facilities bought plastic drinking water bottle. Every day, it is estimated that the number of generated plastic drinking water bottle waste was 19,168 bottles with capacity 600 ml/bottle. Indeed, by comparing to the total water production capacity being produced daily, the idle capacity was 99.3 %.The tendency of negative response from the majority of UGM inhabitants for using UGM –DWSS was due to hesitation about water quality, continuity of water supply, and ease of access to the nearby water fountains and water dispensers. Improvement of UGM-DWSS facilities that are supported by massive socialization programs including innovation to utilize produced drinking water is recommended to optimize the role of UGM-DWSS to create Green Campus.

Abstract:
Background: One of scheduling problems in educational sector currently was the course scheduling in college or well known as University Course Timetabling Problem (UCTP). The UCTP was comprehensive because of the policy difference among the university, faculties, and departments. The Faculty of Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada, which organizes a block system has a different and more complex scheduling type than other faculties with non-block system. The porpose of this research was to build a mathematic model of block system UCTP in Faculty of Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada to optimize the scheduling process time and results.Method: This research was conducted by dividing the scheduling problem into 4 sub – scheduling problems that are sequential, which are the scheduling of the 5 primary courses (lecture, panel discussion, practical sessions, tutorial, and skills laboratory), scheduling topics for each course, student’ group scheduling, and classroom scheduling. The problems are then modeled in the form of integer goal programming. Results: The block system scheduling model in Faculty of Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada by considering topic and possibility of unavailability room using Sequential Three-Stage Integer Goal Programming has successfully developed and well verified. Conclusion: The model developed in this study is able to produce a schedule that meets all hard constraint in less than 24 hours. The result was more efficient compared to the previous trial-and-error method that consumed 30-45 days.

Study of authors productivity use Lotka’s Law has been done, there are some field of science that is physics, chemistry, library and information, social science and politics. The same study in the field of psychology, has not been done in Indonesia. Therefore this study aims to: (1) determine the productivity of authors of psychology, especially in the publication of scientific psychology published by the Fakultas Psikologi UGM, using the law of Lotka; (2) know the author who is productive in the two publications. This study uses a bibliometric approach, which is analized quantitatively using Lotka’s law. The results show that: (1) Authors productivity of Jurnal Psikologi by involving first writer (straight count) according to Lotka's law, that is Dmaks < critical point value. Conversely, if the calculation is done by involving all the authors (complete count) the results obtained are not in accordance with the Lotka’s law, because Dmax > critical point value. (2) Productivity of the author of Buletin Psikologi by involving the first author (straight count) the result shows that Dmax > the critical point value or not according to Lotka's law. Similarly, productivity by involving all authors is also inconsistent with Lotka's law because Dmax > the critical point. Other results indicate that Faturochman was the most prolific writer of the two scientific magazines.

Abstract:
The decent quality, quantity, and continuity of Drinking Water Supply System (DWSS) are needed to support the activities of a campus. Universitas Gadjah Mada drinking water supply system (UGM-DWSS) provides 49 Water Fountains (WF) and 12 Water Dispensers (WD) to support daily activities for all the campus community. This research aimed at figuring out the performance of the existing UGM-DWSS against the current service pipeline distribution network so that the technical condition of the pipes’ pressure, the water consumption’s discharge, and the pumps’ use can be identified. The method used for analyzing is by implementing simulating the network performance using WaterNet program version 2.2 by which pipes network and its facilities performance including optimization of pipe diameter can be described. The simulation indicated that there was 80% idle capacity of the available water capacity. It is uneconomical to make any changes to the existing pipes’ condition considering the very high cost of the pipeline construction. Therefore, pump replacement was considered more feasible optimization approach. To obtain the optimal results, the pump should be replaced with 4 m3/hours capacity with 20 meters pump design head.
