Abstract:
ABSTRACTEighteenth-century composers wrote many passages in which a treble line rises from scale degrees 1 or 3 up to 5, while the bass descends chromatically from 1 down to 5. The diverging lines reach an octave by way of an augmented-sixth interval. These passages represent a voice-leading schema analogous to those introduced by Robert O. Gjerdingen in his book Music in the Galant Style. Following Gjerdingen's use of Italian words to refer to some of his schemata, I propose the word ‘Morte’ for this schema and survey its use by musicians, who relied on it not only as an intensely expressive gesture that could effectively enhance the most tragic moments of a work but also as a compositional building-block: an ornate half cadence that they found especially useful in transitional passages and development sections.

Abstract:
Abstract The paper discusses the optimizing possibilities in terms of use of public transportation that is very necessary considering the difficulty of increasing the capacity of the road with widen road infrastructure in an effort to manage “supply”. Therefore, an alternative approach when managing “demand” for transportation system can be controlled. This is especially needed in settlements newly developed rapidly in Deli Serdang Regency, namely in the Galang Region. The region Galang area with a population of 613 working people with details of 189 civil servants and 424 private employees who the majority (94%) use private transportation. One aspect that is studied within this manuscript is the amount of transportation costs of travel to work using private transportation (motorcycle) and public transportation (angkot or mikrolet). Transportation selection modeling is done using the Bi-nomial Model Binary Logit. Based on the analysis of the results obtained, it can be concluded that, if the difference in transportation costs with private transport getting bigger, the opportunities to use this mode will increase. The balance between the costs and using private and public transport is maintained if the costs of private transport are 1.4 times greater than the cost public transportation.

Abstract:
Purpose of the study: The article focuses on the study of gallantry culture in terms of the theory of intercultural communication on the example of fiction written by N.M. Karamzin, an outstanding representative of European and Russian sentimentalism. Methods and materials: The theoretical aspects of the problem of gallantry are considered in the context of the main provisions of modern concepts of intercultural communication. N.M. Karamzin’s “sensitive” novels are analyzed from the standpoint of gallant secular ceremonies. Main findings: The concept of gallantry is associated with the psychological aspects of the new secular personality. It is correlated with the educational and didactic ideas of the Enlightenment and the chivalry code. The basis of true gallant psychology as a sensitive world view is love, passion, and tenderness, which forms a system of ideas for the gallant education of the younger generation in a new society at the turn of the 18th – 19thcenturies. The article reveals the main features of the gallant gentleman: sensitivity, melancholy, virtue, lack of rational principles. The originality of the study: The ideas about the interrelated gradual comprehension of Beauty and Virtue, Love and the sensory perception of Beauty as a Divine principle are likewise important. The discoveries of N.M. Karamzin, a writer and a psychologist, in the sphere of gallant psychology and the general cultural phenomenon of gallantry are connected with the analysis of the person’s internal rules of behavior, thinking and world perception. The article shows how the writer developed new cultural studies at the joint of literature, everyday life and psychology, which laid the foundation of the studied problem.

Galang Island region's potential development into a tourism area depends on the physical potential, diversity of flora and fauna and activities that support the economic sector for residents around Galang Island. There are two types of ecotourism development recommendations, one concerning conservation which aims to preserve ecosystems and the second is the use of natural beauty as tourism background and facilities that support the surrounding resident's economy. The problem is how the two tourism recommendations can work together and what kind of synergy the recommendations are like. Through identification stages of the flora and fauna types and analysis of the economic activities of residents around Galang Island, produce a mapping of the potential that can be developed into a tourism area. In the ideation stage, the potential analysis can be realized by functional zone, namely conservation zones, recreation zones and their relationship to regional boundaries and the synergy relationship formed through the circulation concept. By the zones and circulation concept, the visualization phase will be more detailed explaining by the atmosphere that was formed as a synergy form in the Galang Island region design

Health behavior is all activities of a person that can be observed or which cannot be observed that are related for health care and improvement. Helminthiasis is the infectious of disease whose prevalence is very high in Indonesia, especially intestinal worms that are transmitted through soil (Soil Transmitted Helminth ).Worm disease is widespread in both rural and urban areas. The problem of this research there is relationship between behavior and personal hygiene of the mother with helminthiasis incident in infants in the work area of Galang Public Health Center in 2019. the type of research used is using survey research that is analytical survey with a cross sectional survey approach to learn the correlation dynamics between risk factors by effects, by approach, observation data colletion in the same time (point time approach). Population of the research 160 mothers the sample of this research is 62 mothers that have baby in Galang Public Health Center . the variable of the researched to knowing about relationship behavior and personal hygiene of the mother with helminthiasis incident as independent variable and helminthiasis in infant as dependent variable .the Data is by questionnaire technique. The Data obtained were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The result of the research showed that based on personal hygiene mothers who behaved adequately as many as 39 peoples (62,9%) while the mothers who behaved had good hygiene was 23 people (37,1). The result showed that helminthiasis incident in infants as many as 39 peoples ( 62.9%) research while those who did not develop helminthiasis in infants were 23 peoples (37.1%). The result of chisquare test a many as.. with p value 0.007(p<0.05) that means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. There in significant relationship between behavior and personal hygiene of the mother with helminthiasis incident in infanst in the work area of Galang Public Health Center in 2019.

Boris Alexandrovich Galaev is known as an outstanding composer, folklorist, conductor, educator, musical and public figure. He has a great merit in the development of musical culture in South Ossetia. All the musical activity of B.A. Galaev is studied and analyzed in detail. In most of the biographies of B.A. Galaev about his participation in the First World War, there is only one proposal that he served in the army and was a bandmaster. For the first time in historiography the participation of B.A. Galaev is analyzed, and it is found out what positions he held, what awards he received, in which battles he participated. Based on the identified documentary sources, for the first time in historiography, it occured that B.A. Galaev was an active participant in the First World War on the Caucasian Front. He went on attacks, both on foot and horse formation, was in reconnaissance, maintained communication between units, received military awards. During this period, he did not have time to study his favorite music, since, according to the documents, he was constantly at the front, in the battle formations of the advanced units. He had to forget all this heroic past and tried not to mention it ever after. Therefore, this period of his life was not studied by the researchers of his biography. For writing this work, the author uses the Highest Orders on the Ranks of the Military and the materials of the Russian State Military Historical Archive (RSMHA).

Abstract:
Relevance. Tomato is one of the most spreaded vegetable cultures in Khabarovsk Territory. Presence of the favourable weather conditions in the region, high ecological plasticity of tomato sorts promote the tomato cultivation in open and protected ground everywhere and in large areas. The main cause of crop failure or large losses of tomatoes in the Far East is a complex, unpredictable, not meeting anywhere else in Russia the monsoon climate causing a strong waterlogging observed almost every year in July-August, the period of the main tomato harvest forming. Such weather conditions promote the development of main diseases of the solanaceous cultures, and their most aggressive races often appear. Therefore a high natural infectious background and a sharply variable hydrothermal regime are the main limiting factors in the cultivation of tomatoes in the Khabarovsk Territory.Methods. Work on the creation of a new variety with the given parameters was started in 2007 by conducting intervarietal crossings between Volgogradsky 5/95 and Zarya Vostoka varieties, followed by multiple selections against a natural infectious background. The early ripening variety of Zarya Vostoka is a local selection variety, was used in the breeding process as an early maturity donor, and Volgogradsky 5/95, a stem type of plant. The main method of breeding work to create new varieties of tomato was analytical with continuous selection. All the necessary phenological, biometric and phytopathological observations and counts according to methods generally accepted in this culture. The purpose of our research was to create a new strain tomato variety with a short period of vegetation, forming the harvest of fruit before the appearance and spread of the disease and high productive potential.Results. This publication presents the information about the new local tomato sort Galant. This sort was received by inter-sort hybridization between the stem sort Volgogradsky 5/95 and local early ripening sort Zarya Vostoka. The sort was selected as a result long-term selection on the natural infectious background with the assessment by progeny of promising lines for a complex of morpho-biological and economically valuable traits in monsoon climate conditions of Priamurye. The new sort is different from other studied non-district and local sorts by fastripeness, high productivity, resistance to main diseases and also by stem type of plant.

Conferences organized by the Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg inevitably serve as a kind of touchstone: one tends to view the programme as a representative muster of international Mozart scholarship. Since on this occasion the organizers explicitly devoted part of the event to analysis (broadly understood as ‘scholarly work interpretation’), the October 2014 snapshot proved especially rich in insights, suggesting that the tools recently developed for the analysis of ‘galant style’ have much to offer for Mozart scholars, while ‘old-school’ source research still bears its fruits as well.

Abstract:
This thesis attempts to discover the links between concepts of identity and origins, and Canadian women's writing. The work of three English-speaking Canadian women writers, Mavis Gallant, Margaret Atwood and Alice Munro, will be examined in order to discover the ways in which their writings problematize feminine subjecthood, and in doing so shed light on a specifically Canadian 'discourse' of identity. I posit thereby, that perceiving the absences and silences structuring their modes of representation is a (symbolic) means of perceiving Canada as a dualistic, fractured, and contradictory unity. This implies a dialogue between text and context: a reading of one through the other. The three writers in question draw on diverse, and often opposing, centres of cultural and personal consciousness. I shall attempt to demonstrate however, that the problematical concept of origins and its relation to location and to feminine self-hood defines all three. To do so I have chosen those texts, whether novel or short story, which to my mind best articulate the social, cultural and symbolic discourses informing the definition 'English-speaking Canadian Women's writing'. Other works not included would undoubtedly have proved of interest, but the type of 'close reading' which such themes required entailed an automatic limitation on the range of fiction under scrutiny

Les observations en émission à de multiples longueurs d'onde du milieu (ou de la matière) interstellaire (MIS) produisent des cartes à deux dimensions (des images) de très haute qualité et résolution, mais elles manquent d'informations sur la distance. Il est donc plus difficile d'interpréter et de modéliser la structure et l'évolution du MIS à partir de ces cartes. Une des techniques permettant d'obtenir des distributions tridimensionnelles du MIS est l'inversion de mesures individuelles d'absorption ou de mesures d'extinction le long de lignes de visée vers des étoiles situées à des distances différentes et connues. Pour construire une base de données d'absorption interstellaire à partir d'un grand nombre de spectres stellaires, des outils d'analyse spectrale automatiques sont indispensables. Le travail de cette thèse a consisté à préparer ces outils automatiques. Ces outils sont adaptés aux différents traceurs interstellaires, par exemple les raies du NaI, CaII, ou les bandes interstellaires diffuses (DIBs). Ils sont adaptés aussi aux différents types d'étoiles, chaudes ou froides. De plus, nous avons développé des méthodes d'analyse globale qui permettent d'ajuster différent traceurs simultanément et de les lier les uns aux autres. Ils peuvent donc permettre d'étudier leur relations et de dériver leur cinématique en une seule fois. Gaia est une mission spatiale de l'Agence Spatiale Européenne (ESA) qui a été lancée le 19 décembre 2013. Elle va révolutionner nos connaissances sur la structure et l'histoire de la galaxie, mais aussi du milieu interstellaire. Elle va mesurer de maniére précise la position des étoiles, ce qui va considérabelement améliorer la précision des futures cartes obtenues par inversion. Elle va également fournir des données spectroscopiques, en particulier de la bande diffuse à 8620 \AA\ (Gaia DIB), et augmenter la base de données pour les cartes en 3D. Elle va aussi fournir des mesures d'extinction vers un très grand nombre d'étoiles qui pourront être inversées. Une grand relevé d'observations spectroscopiques sol complémentaires en support à Gaia (Gaia-ESO Survey, GES) produit et va produire des mesures d'absorption supplémentaires qui seront disponibles pour les inversions. Les outils développés pendant la thèse ont été appliquées aux premières données spectroscopiques de GES. De plus, ils ont été testés et appliqués à différentes données spectroscopiques: TBL/NARVAL, OHP1. 93m/ELODIE, VLT/FLAMES, ESO2. 2m/FEROS, et du projet GOSSS (Galactic O stars Spectroscopic Survey). Ce sont des spectres d'étoiles distribuées dans tout le ciel, e. G, vers la LoopI/NPS, ou en direction d'objets specifiques: l'amas globulaire M4, la nébuleuse de la Carène, les amas ouverts NGC 4815 et gamma-Vel, les champs du satellite CoRoT, et le disque interne ou le bulbe. Nous avons montré que les DIBs peuvent tracer la distribution du MIS et sa cinématique, en particulier tracer les bras Galactiques. Les vitesses radiales des DIBs sont en accord avec celle des raies d'emission du HI et les vitesses des raies d'absorption du gaz, e. G. , NaI. Finalement, nous avons testé le code d'inversion au moyen d'une base de données simulées, pour optimiser la reconstitution de cette distribution. Les cartes du MIS en 3D sont utiles, non seulement pour décrire la distribution du MIS, mais aussi pour comprendre les conditions physiques et chimiques du MIS. Les nouvelles cartes en 3D font apparaitre clairement la ceinture de Gould, la Bulle Locale (LB) et les cavités voisines. En comparant avec la carte de l'émission diffuse en rayons X mous, nous avons pu estimer la pression du gaz chaud dans la Bulle Locale
Multi-wavelength observations in emission of interstellar medium or matter (ISM) are providing increasingly detailed maps. Unfortunately, precise information on distances to the emitting clouds is still lacking. This leads to difficulties in interpreting and modeling ISM distribution and evolution. One way to obtain three-dimensional (3D) descriptions of the ISM, which comprise direction and distance information, is to record a large set of individual absorption measurements or reddening measurements toward target stars at various known distances and directions. These line-of-sight data give hints about the distribution of matter relative to the target star, and the inversion of these measurements using a robust tomographic method can provide the spatial distribution of the ISM. 3D ISM maps are a potential tool of wide use, but accurate and detailed maps are still lacking because absorption data are still limited and information of distances to the target stars are lacking or uncertain. The situation will greatly improve thanks to current and future massive stellar surveys from ground, and to the Gaia mission. Extracting interstellar (IS) absorption data from a large number of stellar spectra requires automated tools. Some of the works presented in this thesis contribute to the preparation of these tools. The tools are adapted to different IS tracers, such as NaI lines, CaII lines, and diffuse interstellar bands (DIBs). Despite their unknown carriers, DIBs are a promising tool to trace IS clouds, in particular at large distances as they are not easily saturated. IS lines or bands are usually extracted from early-type star spectra because of their smooth and easily fitted continua. However, early-type stars are a small fraction of the potential targets. The mean distance between them is too large to allow a good spatial resolution for the ISM mapping. Recently, progress was made on the extraction of IS tracers from late-type star spectra, in particular using a synthetic stellar spectrum. The spectral analysis tools are therefore adapted to different stellar spectrum types, early- or late-type star. Furthermore, we have developed a global analysis to fit multiple tracers simultaneously, allowing us to understand their relationships and to derive their kinematic information at the same time. Gaia is a mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) which was recently launched on 19th December 2013. Not only it will revolutionize our knowledge of the structure and the history of our Galaxy, but also of the distribution of ISM. It will provide precise distances which will greatly improve the constraints during the inversion. It will also provide spectroscopic data allowing the study of a particular DIB at 8620 \AA\ (Gaia DIB), providing more IS absorption data, and also photometric and spectroscopic information on a billion stars allowing accurate estimates of the extinction. Apart from the satellite, a support survey mission with a high-resolution ground-based spectrograph, the Gaia-ESO Spectroscopic Survey (GES), will provide a large number additional new IS absorption data that will be available for the 3D ISM maps. In this thesis, our spectral analysis tools were tested and applied to GES data and to various spectroscopic data from the TBL/NARVAL, OHP 1. 93 m/ELODIE, and ESO 2. 2 m/FEROS instruments, and from the GOSSS (Galactic O stars Spectroscopic Survey) project. The target stars are widely distributed in the sky, e. G. , in southern sky, in high-latitude Galactic HI shells, and in the direction of specific objects, e. G. , the M4 cluster, the Carina nebula, the NGC 4815 and gamma-Vel open clusters, and various fields like the CoRoT fields, the Galactic inner-disk or the bulge. Our results show that DIBs can trace the ISM distribution and kinematics at the Galactic scale. They can be used to trace the Galactic arms. Radial velocities of the DIBs were found in agreement with HI emission spectral features and gaseous IS NaI lines velocities. Finally, we tested the inversion method using simulated data and the reconstruction of the distribution. We also showed that 3D ISM maps are useful in many respects, not only in describing ISM distribution, but also helping to understand the physical and chemical conditions in the ISM. For example, our most recent 3D ISM map helps describing Gould Belt properties, nearby cavities or bubbles, and especially determining Local Bubble (LB) properties owing to the comparison with soft X-ray emission maps

Proposer une édition critique de l’œuvre poétique de Jean-François Sarasin (1614-1654), né à Hermanville-sur-mer en Normandie, mort à Pézenas, secrétaire et intendant du Prince de Conti et, pendant quelques mois, de la duchesse de Longueville, n’avait pas été entrepris depuis 1926, date de la dernière publication des œuvres complètes de l’auteur, par Paul Festugière. L’édition de ce dernier, qui a le mérite de l’exhaustivité, se permet quelques libertés avec les textes de Sarasin, qu’elle rebaptise parfois. En nous basant sur la première édition conçue par les amis de Sarasin, Paul Pellisson, Gilles Ménage et Madeleine de Scudéry, en 1656 et sur l’édition des Nouvelles Œuvres (1674), ainsi que sur les manuscrits des Recueils Conrart (bibliothèque de l’Arsenal), du fonds français (B.N.F.) et sur le manuscrit de Besançon, nous avons tenté d’établir le texte de la manière la plus juste possible, enrichissant le corpus de pièces inédites, tout en adoptant, comme Paul Festugière, une orthographe moderne. Ce travail, par le choix d’une organisation chronologique des textes, met en lumière le parcours du poète, l’évolution de sa poésie, notamment son questionnement sur le choix de la prose ou du vers. Les notes de bas de page et la préface explorent le contexte d’écriture, ce premier dix-septième siècle qui a connu la guerre de Trente ans et la Fronde, qui a vu naître l’Académie Française et fleurir les salons érudits et mondains, où s’élabore l’esthétique galante. Elles révèlent également les sources de l’auteur, les thèmes abordés, et esquissent une étude du style de Sarasin. Trop souvent étiqueté « poète précieux » et réduit au rôle d’épigone de Vincent Voiture, Sarasin, plus ample que son devancier dans l’éventail des genres et des registres abordés, s’abreuvant à des sources diverses, a la force et le charme d’un talent unique, hanté par le rêve arcadien et nimbé de réminiscences virgiliennes. Since 1926, when Paul Festugière published the last complete works of Jean-François Sarasin (1614-1654), born in Hermanville-sur-mer in Normandy, no critique on the poet had been undertaken. Jean-François Sarasin, who was the secretary and intendant of the Prince de Conti and also for a few months that of the duchesse de Longueville, died in Pézenas. Paul Festugière’s edition - which has the merit of being exhaustive – nevertheless takes liberties with Sarasin’s original texts, sometimes renaming them. We based our study on the first edition published in 1656 by Sarasin’s friends, Paul Pellisson, Gilles Ménage and Madeleine de Scudéry, then on the edition of Nouvelles Œuvres (1674) as well as on the manuscripts from the Recueils Conrart, from the Fonds Français and the manuscript of Besançon. We have attempted to render the text in as faithful a way as possible, adding previously unpublished work and choosing, as Paul Festugière did, a modern form of spelling. This survey, based on a chronological classification of the texts, highlights the poet’s career, the evolution of his poetry and particularly his questioning on the use of prose or verse. The footnotes and the preface explore the historical context of Sarasin’s writing, i.e. the early 17th century. During this period, marked by the Thirty Years War and the Fronde, the Académie Française was created and many erudite and fashionable salons flourished. It was the time when the gallant aesthetic was developed. The notes also reveal the author’s sources of inspiration, the subjects he tackled and provide an outline of Sarasin’s style. He has been too often described as a “precious poet” and reduced to an epigone of Vincent Voiture. But Sarasin had a wider range of genres and registers than his precursor, he drew from varied sources and shows the strength and charm of a unique talent, haunted by the Acadian dream and radiant with Virgilian echoes. Abstract:
My dissertation challenges the longstanding dismissal of love in James Joyce's texts by examining the ethical and political implications of his love stories. Primarily using Martin Buber's works (but also including perspectives derived from bell hooks and Julia Kristeva), I define love as an affirmation of otherness and adopt a critical framework that promotes the love of others over the narcissistic devotion to oneself. In so doing, I highlight love as the ultimate challenge to authoritarian systems because the embrace of the other is necessary to transcend the boundaries that alienate individuals from each other and that justify imperialist and racist political structures. I thus offer a love ethic that not only compels meaningful individual interaction, but also establishes a model for effective social and civic participation, encouraging a climate of cooperation that embraces the solidarity and empathy needed for progressive politics. I also argue that analyzing Joyce's works provides a fruitful opportunity to recognize the individual and political viability of this love ethic. Focusing on Dubliners, Stephen Hero, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Exiles, and Ulysses, I examine the relationships between his characters' pursuits of love and their socio-political struggles, arguing that their love for others directly influences their acceptance of otherness within the colonialist discourses of Joyce's Dublin. For example, James Duffy's refusal of Emily Sinico in "A Painful Case" also rejects her advice to engage in the political cooperation that would promote his socialist ideas. Similarly, Stephen Dedalus's promotion of symbolic romance over real-world attachments focuses his aesthetics on ideal beauty instead of everyday Dublin, which alienates him from his audience and limits the practical success of his art. By contrast, Leopold Bloom's love for his wife Molly reflects a broader empathy for others that encourages social dialogue and counteracts what Joyce called "the old pap of racial hatred," an element in both British imperialism and Irish nationalism. My dissertation's afterword anticipates the amorous potential of Finnegans Wake, reading ALP's concluding soliloquy as a demonstration of her enduring affection for HCE that is reignited through each iteration of the text's cyclical narrative.

Abstract:
The proverbes dramatiques of Carmontelle have been well-studied. This dissertation explores instead the understudied precursors of the genre, the environment out of which it grew, and its earliest three authors. As seventeenth-century France’s first classic salon, the format, attitudes, and activities of the Hôtel de Rambouillet created a template for salons to follow. Within this milieu arose a collective seeking for a raised moral consciousness, improved intellectual prowess, and a forum for the discussion of progressive ideas. These desires also permeated their leisure activities, giving rise to games of wit, including the jeux des proverbes. An investigation of Charles Sorel’s La maison des jeux and these salon games uncovers the earliest incarnation of the proverbe dramatique, the proverbe improvisé, an impromptu play illustrating a proverb. Following a look at the French salon, the jeux des proverbes, and the proverbe improvisé, this dissertation first examines the proverbes dramatiques of Madame de Maintenon, second wife to Louis XIV and founder of the girls’ school Saint-Cyr. Written between 1686 and 1719, her forty Proverbes served as the foundation of the school’s théâtre d’éducation. Through the preparation, performance, and follow-up discussions of these short works, Madame de Maintenon sought to mold the moral values of her students and to prepare them for the lives that they would lead after finishing their studies at Saint-Cyr. Next, this study looks at the first published proverbes dramatiques, those written by Catherine Durand and housed in the Comtesse de Murat’s Le voyage de campagne. Most of the ten Comédies en proverbes showcase moliéresque humor and tend to depict male characters as less intelligent or more flawed than their female counterparts. Finally, this examination ends with the study of four of the proverb plays written by Charles Collé in context with the théâtre de société. These pieces expand the parameters of the genre and boast a licentious nature characteristic of the author’s work and appreciated in the earlier théâtres de société. Extending more than a century, The proverbe dramatique before Carmontelle seeks to offer a better understanding of the creation of the genre, its characteristics, and its connection to French society.

This paper presents the numerical and experimental analysis of the seakeeping performances of a survey vessel operating in the Caspian Sea. For the numerical analysis we have developed our own code, based on a linear hydro-dynamic strip theory formulation. The irregular waves are modelled by short-term power density spectra JONSWAP, for the spectral parameters significant wave height and peak period corresponding to the Caspian Sea scattering diagram. The experimental study is developed at the towing tank from Naval Architecture Faculty of Galati, using a semi-captive scaled model 1:16 of the survey vessel, made of fibre glass and wood, being recorded the heave, pitch, roll motions and wave elongation. The experimental tests are carried out for two speeds and several significant heading cases: head, follow and beam regular waves. This study delivers the prediction of the survey vessel seakeeping capabilities and the validation of the numerical response amplitude operators by experiment.

Romania is going through a period of economic transition, subject to the pressures of globalization that affect the evolution of the family, at the micro social level, structurally, from the behaviour and relational point of view. The continuous process of changes in the labour market, the inefficiency of the association between vocational training and job satisfaction, the financial difficulties felt by most families but also the challenge of modernity have emphasized the phenomenon of migration in the last decade. The departure of parents who have to work abroad has become a worrying phenomenon with a higher incidence in the eastern half of the country. It has got complex effects on the evolution of the family, especially on the children left at home with one of their parents or their tutors. Nowadays, the studies show more and more situations of neglect in which children become victims and suffer emotionally and physically. They also suffer various abuses, they are exploited through work or sex. In schools, there is a new profile of special educational requirements (not deficiencies), the profile of children left at home without parental support. It is worrying the migration phenomenon seen as a value model by the young generation and its negative effects at school level: decrease of motivation for learning or school abandonment. The present study discusses a review of the current scientific literature objectively, which examines the impact of breaking attachment relationships between children and parents on socio-emotional development and school outcomes. The Romanian society knows an important socio-economic phenomenon, which has grown since 1990: migration. In 2017, a study carried out at the request of the Romanian Government recorded more than 85,000 children left home alone with one of the parents or without parental supervision. We aim to analyse what effects at school and socio-emotional level have the loss of attachment ties having as moderators the gender of the migrant parent, the duration of the separation, the age at which the separation occurs. When these relationships are interrupted, the child’s emotional development is affected, his emotional balance having repercussions in his social life. The purpose of this study is to identify, monitor the dimensions of the phenomenon in intensely affected areas (Braila and Galati counties), the psycho-pedagogical aspects of children with migrant parents exposed to situations of vulnerability, marginalization and to propose a program of educational strategies in order to optimize school motivation. The main objective of the research is to identify, evaluate and involve them into adaptive actions that have as their objective the rebalancing of the socio-affective relations

In the lifecycle of material products, from the very initial design phase of concept generation to the final disposal, information and communication have always played a prominent part that, in the digital era, is growing and is expected to grow further, also enabling the blooming of grass root and bottom-up changes in the galaxy of design-production-retail systems. Since the beginning of the human history, commerce has been playing a major role in shaping social organization systems. Retail services are not just a way to obtain goods: they provide opportunities for social relationship and cultural growth, and can be considered as a field for social innovation. Our research is aimed to investigate the systemic changes that are occurring in the realm of information and communication services in retail of material products, and their consequences on design, production and distribution processes. The research is supported by TIM-Telecom Italia, it is a wide-ranging study of social, professional and industrial phenomena enabled by digital technologies, and it involves both physical (i.e. traditional distribution in physical retail spaces) and on line services. Our goal is to outline strategic approaches to the design of innovative service/systems and, presently, we mainly focus on two key issue: - understanding and modelling the tangle of factors that determine the user experience in traditional and digital shopping processes; - develop design methodologies supporting the creation of new meaningful services so to support the customers in the understanding of value and in the search of quality in shopping processes. The paper investigates new social behaviors related to shopping, such as show-rooming and web-rooming, and we demonstrate that the pervasive use of mobile devices produces new social phenomena in retail processes and enables new opportunities to create value in retail services. From the investigation of on-line and off-line markets, it emerges the importance of social dynamics and human interactions belonging to physical world: relational dynamics and knowledge acquisition processes play a very important role in the elicitation of senses and emotions, in cultural upgrading, value understanding, quality awareness, trust building. Thereafter, a driving research questions is: how can we orient the design of innovative services so to improve the relationship between customers and retailers?
