Abstract:
The thesis is aimed at Gantt charts. Primarily on their use in production processes, such as planning and scheduling. The thesis also includes an introduction, explaining what are the Gantt charts, for what are using and what is their principle. The thesis also includes analysis and software possibilities for implementing Gantt charts with using OOP. Programmatic and theoretical analysis of the various functions that are characteristic of Gantt charts, including their internal logic and program implementation. These programmed characteristic functions of Gantt charts were composed in the form of a DLL library, which provides a simple implementation of Gantt charts. By using this library is realized the software for production management. The work is included on the DVD, except the DLL itself software with detailed descriptions of each part of the source code.

This thesis deals with the planning and implementation of construction project by the contractor. In the theoretical part, I wrote the basic concepts of project management, construction participants and temporal models of construction. Furthermore, I focused on the public procurement and its by tendering documentation. In the practical part I focused on a specific project, where I proposed an alternative course of the contract and the contract followed from its very beginning to evaluation.

The author considers the features of the Gantt chart as a means of planning and managing projects, describes the history of the appearance of the Gantt chart, analyzes the specifics of creating a Gantt chart in Excel. Notes, that computer modeling of non-standard diagrams contributes to the intellectual and creative development of the individual.

The aim of this master thesis is to develop an application for creating calculations and offers to potential customers and to develop an application for managing Gantt charts. These applications will be in future used for implementation to the information system of Wedding in Prague Inc. company. Along with the development of applications author of this thesis aims to design, create and implement a fully functional database to support the applications. Before the development of the applications the revision of the submitters demands and the revision of previously designed interface are made. In the end of this work the user testing is done to confirm the correctness of the functionality of applications. The submitter, Wedding in Prague Inc., runs business in the destination event management branch the applications are adjusted to this type of business branch and its requirements. Contribution of this thesis is the creation of mentioned applications and their preparation for its future implementation into information system of the company.

This paper deals with the problem of optimization of a production plan by using genetic algorithms. It contains a brief overview of the principles behind genetic algorithms in scope of evolutionary algorithms and artificial intelligence in general. It also takes a closer look on the challenge of production planning and control and all activities connected to it. This is followed by description of the modification of genetic algorithms that needed to be done in order to implement it into a computer program, which is used to create and optimize the production plan, and is a result to the issue that this paper deals with. У роботі розглядаються теоретичні основи планування діяльності підприємства, зокрема вивчено сутність планування в діяльності підприємства, методи розрахунку планових показників та характеристики операційного планування у сфері виробництва і послуг. Проаналізовано ринок побутового обслуговування України та визначено фактори зовнішнього середовища, що мають найбільший вплив на діяльність підприємств ринку. Запропоновано операційний план, який дозволить обґрунтувати планову чисельність працюючих; забезпечити найменші диференційні витрати; зменшити середній час очікування клієнтів в черзі; обробляти в першу чергу замовлення з високою пріоритетністю.
The theoretical bases of enterprise activity planning are considered in the work, in particular the essence of planning in enterprise activity, methods of calculation of planned indicators and characteristics of operational planning in the sphere of production and services are studied. The market of consumer services of Ukraine is analyzed and the factors of the external environment that have the greatest influence on the activity of market enterprises are determined. An operational plan is proposed, which will justify the planned number of employees; provide the lowest differential costs; reduce the average waiting time for customers in the queue; process orders with high priority in the first place.

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou současné situace ve firmě Sportobchod.cz s.r.o a aplikací teoretických znalostí projektového řízení, nástrojů a metod k návrhu projektu, který má za cíl usnadnit proces budování a zapojení své komunity zákazníků na Slovensku. Kromě toho by projekt měl sloužit jako návod pro následující projekty analyzované společnosti. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První část je zaměřena na představení teorie projektového řízení a vymezení jeho hlavních konceptů. Druhá část je věnována analýze současné situace, která zahrnuje využití různých makroekonomických a mikroekonomických analýz. V poslední části autor navrhuje projekt pomocí metod projektového řízení jako je SMART definice projektových cílů, logický rámec, WBS, RACI Matice, Ganttův diagram a charakterizuje možné přínosy navrhovaného projektu pro analyzovanou společnost.

Abstract:
Purpose: The purpose of the study is to identify, design and apply a method for operational production planning. The purpose of the method is that it takes into account the respective demand patterns of the articles, which determines the choice of calculation model and that the method also takes into account the production capacity limitation set. The result can be applied as a basis for decision-making for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies that are facing an expansion. Objective: The following research question was the main objective of this study.How would an appropriate operational planning method be shaped according to the specific characteristics of the products and their diverse demand patterns in small and medium-sized manufacturing companies with capacity limiters? Method: The study is a qualitative one-case study with quantitative elements. The empirical data used in the study was collected through unstructured and semi-structured interviews where the snowball effect has been applied and also observations have been performed. Results: The study has enabled a higher degree of utilization of the capacity limitation set, by developing standardized block sizes. The first step was to identify demand patterns into which the studied articles could be categorized. The demand pattern was applied in order to be able to apply the correct calculation model to the correct article. The calculation model was then standardized by applying PoT to be able to obtain standardized block sizes. The method was illustrated in a Gantt chart to demonstrate its usefulness.
Syfte: Studiens syfte är att identifiera, utforma och applicera en metod för operativ produktionsplanering. Ändamålet med metoden är att den tar hänsyn till artiklarnas respektive efterfrågemönster vilket avgör valet av beräkningsmodell samt att metoden tar även hänsyn till produktionens kapacitetsbegränsning ställare. Resultatet kan appliceras som beslutsunderlag för små samt medelstora tillverkande företag som står inför en expansion. Forskningsfråga: Följande forskningsfråga var objektet för denna studie. Hur skulle en lämplig operativ planering formas utefter artiklarnas specifika egenskaper och deras olikartade efterfrågemönster hos små och medelstora tillverkande företag med kapacitetsbegränsningen ställare? Metod: Studien är en kvalitativ en-fallstudie med kvantitativa inslag. Den empiriska data som använts i studie än insamlad genom ostrukturerade samt semistrukturerade intervjuer där snöbollseffekten tillämpats och även observationer har utförts. Resultat: Studien har möjliggjort en högre utnyttjandegrad av kapacitetsbegränsningen ställare, genom att framta standardiserade blockstorlekar. Första steget var att identifiera efterfrågemönster som de studerade artiklarna kunnat kategoriseras in i. Efterfrågemönstret har tillämpats för att kunna använda rätt beräkningsmodell på rätt artikel. Beräkningsmodellen standardiserades därefter genom tillämpning av PoT för att kunna erhålla standardiserade blockstorlekar. Metoden illustrerades i ett Gantt-schema för att påvisa dess användbarhet.

The master thesis aims to design, implement, and compare algorithms that optimize processes in logistics, mainly in the planning phase. Heuristics and approximation genetic algorithms will find an near-optimal solution to NP-hard problem, such as the traveling salesman problem, with a delay less than several hours. The role of this algorithm is to plan an efficient route for garbage trucks that collect and distribute large-scale waste to waste yards in a specific city. The goal of the optimization is to minimize the shipping costs.
