Abstract:
Abstract Seed samples of some rape and canola cultivars were analysed for oil content, fatty acid and tocopherol profiles. Gas liquid chromotography and high performance liquid chromotography were used for fatty acid and tocopherol analysis, respectively. The oil contents of rape and canola seeds varied between 30.6% and 48.3% of the dry weight (p<0.05). The oil contents of rapeseeds were found to be high compared with canola seed oils. The main fatty acids in the oils are oleic (56.80–64.92%), linoleic (17.11–20.92%) and palmitic (4.18–5.01%) acids. A few types of tocopherols were found in

Tung oil from the south of Shaanxi province was assayed by chemical analysis technology, its compositions of fatty acid was discovered with gas chromotography. As experiment results, Lipase-catalyzed Tung oil producing biodiesel plays a dominant role in the process of enzymatic synthesis of biodiesel in tert-butanol reaction system.we needed controlling the continuous flow rate in the reaction system and maintained a very high FAMEs yield. Tung oil from south Shaanxi could be an ideal raw material for biodiesel production.

Extrafloral cotton nectar subjected to gas chromatographic analysis revealed the presence of six fatty acids. Two saturated acids (palmitic and stearic) and four unsaturated acids (palmitoleic, oleic, linoleic, and linolenic), polar and neutral lipids, respectively, were identified. Thin layer chromotography separated six phospholipids including: phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl ethanolamine, phosphatidyl inositol, lysophosphatidyl choline, lysophosphatidyl ethanolamine, and an unknown. Fatty acid concentration was greatest in extrafloral nectar from young plants and decreased as the plants

Abstract:
Aroma is one of the most important quality attributes of bread or any food. It will determine whether the product will be tasted and eaten in the first instance and is a major factor in establishing acceptability and preference. The dominant preference by consumers of bread made from refined flour in contrast to whole wheat flour is at least in part due to the strong and different aroma of whole wheat bread. White wheats may have an advantage over red wheat in this regard according to some industry reports, but the science is extremely limited. The goal of this research was to add more science

Abstract:
Combustion characteristics of a model can-type combustor are reported for air/fuel ratios encompassing take-off and ground-idle conditions and for two swirlers with gaseous fuel and at atmospheric pressure. Temperatures were obtained with fine-wire thermocouples, and concentrations of UHC, H2, CO, CO2, O2 sampled through a water-cooled probe with a flame ionization detector, a gas chromotograph and infrared and paramagnetic analyzers. The results indicate combustion efficiencies greater than 97%. For the air/fuel ratio corresponding to that of take-off, 45% of the mass flow of the primary jets
