Gastrointestinal helminths are important causes of hindering global goat production. To find the prevalence of gastrointestinal helminths of Black Bengal and Jamunapari breeds of goats, the current investigation was carried out at Barishal Sadar Upazilla of Barishal district, Bangladesh. The gastrointestinal helminths were identified through coprological examination. A total of 112 fecal samples were collected from household goats across different seasons, breeds, sexes, and ages. If our prediction is correct, the frequency and risks of gastrointestinal haemorrhage and iron deficiency will be higher among haemophiliacs infected by helminths in comparison with uninfected haemophiliacs. Several plants are found to possess potent medicinal and phytochemical compounds used globally for the treatment of diseases and the discovery of new drugs. Plants with anthelmintic properties have attained a great interest due to their usage in treatment of parasitic (helminthic) diseases that cause major economic loss, resulting to reduced livestock production capacity of farmers. The major impediment in the livestock subsector is the increasing problems of development of resistance to synthetic drugs by the helminths and or high cost of commercially produced anthelmintics and their resultan

The European hare (Lepus europaeus) is widely spread throughout Europe, however, their numbers are declining in some countries, with parasites bearing some responsibility for this population decrease, due to their role as favouring factors. The aim of this study was to determine the gastrointestinal parasitic populations of hares (Lepus europaeus) from Romania. The study took place during the hunting seasons (November-February) of the years 2020-2022. Gastrointestinal tracts from 72 hares were subjected to a macro- and microscopic examination in order to determine the presence of endoparasites

Abstract:
The article presents data on the use of molecular genetic tests to diagnose the occurrence of mutant alleles in the β-tubulin gene in parasitic nematodes Haemonchus contortus that lead to the formation of genetically determined resistance to benzimidazoles. The studies were conducted on parasitic nematodes isolated from the gastrointestinal tracts of sheep raised in the Stavropol Territory and the Republic of Ingushetia. On these sheep farms, regular deworming of the entire small cattle with benzimidazole preparations was carried out. To establish the taxonomic affiliation of the studied helmi

The research purpose was to characterize morphometric features of invasive larvae of Oesophagodontus robustus and to study the spread of equine oesophagodontosis in the Altai Mountains. Fecal samples from animals spontaneously infected with helminths were examined using the Berman-Orlov larvoscopic method followed by calculation of abundance rates (prevalence, %) and infection intensity (larvae/g). Infective Oesophagodontus larvae were identified with reference to morphometric features. It was found that the average larvae length and width were 1022.4±14.2 (min, 939.5 µm, max, 1068.4 µm) and 3

The optimization of laboratory diagnostic methods is one of the important trend in the diagnostics of gastrointestinal parasitic diseases. Direct biological material research methods aimed at detection of helminth eggs and larvae, trophozoites and protozoan cysts remain the "gold standard" for diagnosing intestinal helminthiasis and protozoosis. Detection of pathogens in biological media does not require additional research methods. Currently, various parasitological diagnostic methods are presented in regulatory and methodological documents but the choice o
