Abstract:
This research describes the acts of empowering and encouraging women of the main character (Geetha Rani) in the film Raatchasi. This research is descriptive qualitative. The Raathacsi film is about a headmistress (principal) converting a poorly run school into one of the best in the state. Geeta Rani is the principal of an unauthorized government school in a secluded area of southern Tamil Nadu. Geetha Rani, the newly appointed headmistress of a government school, fights back against mismanagement and failings of the educational system. She must deal with misbehaving students, unmotivated teachers, and a lack of established rules and regulations. She did her utmost to instruct students and supervise teachers to be professional. Her abrupt strict and progressive policies are not well received. Her earnest efforts will bring about some much-needed reform and improve the academic standards in the process such as conducting discipline in the school area, changing the school atmosphere, changing students’ behavior, organizing a program for students’ talents, engaging students to compete, changing teachers’ performance, approaching students’ parents, and renovating the school’s building. In this film, Geeta Rani makes a favorable impression as a confident woman. This character and film are excellent for empowering and encouraging women.

Abstract:
Every human aspires to live healthy and happy life universally. Two such treasures which enable an individual to lead healthy and happy life is through the practice of Yoga with integrated knowledge of its form of 18 chapters in Bhagwad Geetha. It explains the significance and relevance to adopt and apply this evaluated life principles to human life for well-being. In the 21st century where an individual is stressed out with the technical advancements and success, can’t able to understand the real purpose of life.to direct the future generations to the productive path of healthy and happy living “The Wisdom of Bhagwad Geetha “and “Practice of Yoga” can be used. Which constitute the social, cultural and traditional structure of Indian’s. According to the “Mandukopanishad” the knowledge is classified into two. The first is the knowledge about the absolute(universal) and the other is the knowledge of(materialistic) science. This two knowledge combine together help in the holistic development of an individual. NEP (2020) also stresses on the holistic development of learner which can cater the needs of knowledge in 21 century and make the learner a contributing citizen in national construct. But today’s academia concern with the materialistic development ignoring the conventional knowledge (Knowledge about absolute).it is making grow but lacking in experiencing the peace, bliss and satisfaction. Today the human is achieving the heights of success, advancing globally but parallelly inviting the problems like depression and anxiety in personal life, social problems and terrorism in societies and pollution, poverty, global worming universally. The human is moving with a great phase towards self-distraction in ignorance. Thus, the main aim of this paper is to Critically review the existing literature of Yoga in India and Critically Analyse the concept Yoga in Bhagwad Geetha. The review reveals the concept of Yoga in the framework of Bhagwad Geetha philosophy. It helps in Critically evaluate the Assumptions and underpinned practices of yoga. The insights, implementations, principles encourage the practice of yoga and its underlaying links with healthy and happy living. It also enables human race to come out of this ignorance and gain perfect knowledge through the practice. Self -experience and Self -improvement are the chief methods in this knowledge which leads to the perfection and purification of an individual. Thus, it can be stated that the Wholistic development of an individual along with the Sustainable development Goals, Millennium goals etc can be obtained through this practice of Yoga’s in Bhagwad Geetha.

Abstract:
In nature’s creation, men and women are equal in all respects. But in social parlance it is prevailing as a contradiction. Women are inferior and the concept of male supremacy and patriarchy has been configured in the society. Women’s rights and the concept of feminism are denied in the society. Women are conferred with enormousus potential in nature. Women can renew themselves from the problems faced by them similar to the capability of nature that can restore its energy by itself. The society has made women, not able to realise this fact by imposing conceptualisations based on emotional constraints and by restricting their freedom of movement. ‘Kaalakkanavu’ – play has been created by V. Geetha, to make people realise about the capabilities and rights of women. In this play, the portrayal of historical facts of women, the revelation of the state of women in the society and the need for women to realise about their position and social status were stressed. And all these aspects are explained in-detail in this essay.-

Abstract:
The song &#39;macho&nbsp;<em>ennaacho</em>&#39; from the Tamil film&nbsp;<em>Mersal&nbsp;</em>became an instant hit among the film-going audience in Tamil Nadu when it was released in 2017 . Written by Mr. Vivek, the song has quite a few &#39;words&#39; wherein the first part is English and second Tamil. While the blending of English and Tamil in this fashion might seem random at first blush, this paper shows that it is systematic in that the first/English part of the blends supplies &#39;meaning&#39; and the second/Tamil part &#39;grammatical information&#39;. Put another way, &nbsp;English &#39;roots&#39; with semantic content are skillfully combined in the song with Tamil &#39;suffixes&#39; which carry grammatical load (e.g. Number, Gender, Case-marking etc.), illustrating the sort of word-level code-mixing &nbsp;that is common among users of Tamil (Pirahanayagi 91-93, 102-3; Annamalai 20-7; Geetha and Kamatchi 235-7) even in everyday speech.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Coronal fractures of the anterior teeth are a common form of dental trauma affecting mainly children and adolescents. Trauma with accompanying fracture of anterior teeth is an agonizing experience for a young individual, which requires immediate attention, not only because of the physical disfigurement but also because of the psychological impact on the patient. Coronal fractures may be vertical or horizontal. Vertical crown fracture with pulpal involvement usually presents mild symptoms and pain. Pain is mainly due to the mobility of the fractured segment during function. This study describes the single-visit management of a complicated vertical coronal fracture in a maxillary central incisor. Esthetic management of the fracture line was done by resin composite by preparing grooves and followed by joining the fragments together. After esthetic management, endodontic treatment was done for the tooth. Crown was given at a later stage to prevent the extension of fracture line and for the longevity of tooth. Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to deter mine the relationship between the academic self concept and academic performance. The sample consists of 100 B.Ed trainees from 6 colleges were chosen by using random sampling method. The data collection instrument for academic self concept was a researcher made questionnaire. After verifying the scale&#39;s facto rial structure, established levels of association between self concept and academic performance, and predictive power of academic self concept. The research finding showed a close relationship between academic self concept and measures of academic performance. Academic self concept powerfully and positive predicts general performance in literature and mathematics. Feel it is necessary to give adequate and sufficient attention to self concept and self esteem and teachers should be offered methodological guidance in order to work on these throughout the educational process. Abstract:
Jhumpa Lahiri is a writer of South Asian origin who was born and brought up in the United States. She debuted with her short story collection Interpreter of Maladies. The stories in this collection glance at the Indo-American diaspora. All the nine stories in this collection are aligned with the recurring patterns. The institution of marriage, romantic relationship and Indian family system vs American family pattern has been focused at length. The subtitle of the novel goes perfectly with the themes of the stories. Geetha Ganapathy- Dore’ notes that “Indian people, films, novels, beauty-queens, food and spirituality cross borders easily.” She adds that Lahiri’s collection was originally sub-titled ‘Bengal, Boston and Beyond’ (58) The three stories chosen for study reflect a modern world that witnesses the assimilation of different cultures and problem of immigrants while living in an ethnic group. “Temporary Matter”, “Sexy” and “Interpreter of Maladies” have been chosen to make the study specific. All of these emphasize on the life and circumstances leading to the rift in marriage and relationships deficit of love. This work also reflects the diaspora experiences of the Indian immigrants belonging to the first and second generation. The lucidity of language and expression are quite commendable.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Aim The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of mouthrinses containing olive oil, fluoride, and their combination on enamel erosion. Materials and methods An in vitro study of 45 enamel specimens, which were prepared from 45 extracted teeth, was employed. Each specimen was subjected to 10 alternative demineralization and remineralization cycles. Remineralizing cycle includes 5 minutes exposure with one of the mouthrinse, and demineralizing cycle includes 3 minute exposure to 1% citric acid. Mean surface roughness (Ra) was measured from surfometry before and after cycles. Statistical tests used were Student's unpaired t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Tukey's post hoc test. Results Among the three mouthrinses, Listerine and Xerostom showed maximum protection against erosion on enamel. The 2% olive oil mouthrinse showed the least protection against erosion on enamel. Conclusion The study indicated that the Listerine and Xerostom mouthrinses are valuable preventive measures. Clinical significance Mouthrinses are effective for lessening erosive demineralization and in aggregating remineralization of tooth surfaces which are the important factors to prevent enamel erosion. Abstract:
Manju Kapur is an Indian novelist. She was born on 25th October 1948. She is an archetypal representative of the postcolonial women novelists. She was a professor of English Literature at her alma mater at Miranda House College, Delhi. But she is retired from there. She joined the growing number of Indian women novelists, who have contributed to the progression of Indian fiction i.e. Shashi Deshpande, Arundhati Roy, Kamla Das, Geetha Hariharan, Anita Nair, Shobha De. Her novels reflect the position of women in the patriarchal society and the problems of women for their longing struggle in establishing their identity as an autonomous being. Her works not only gives voice to the society’s effort to improve its women population but it is for every woman’s self–consciousness in order to improve the society. She has written five novels, Difficult Daughters (1998), A Married Woman (2002), Home (2006), The Immigrant (2008), and Custody (2011). Kapur’s most memorable female characters are Virmati, Astha, Nisha, Nina, Shagun and so many others. All of them strive to assert themselves. These characters give us a rare glimpse of modernized Indian women who are in their aggression may enter into a scandalous relationship with her married neighbor, the professor or develop lesbian relationship as Virmati does in Difficult Daughters and Astha in A Married Woman. But Nisha in Home is different from her predecessors.

Nowadays the vehicle accident rate has been increasing as compared to the previous decade. This system proposes a solution to minimize the action time after an accident. It has the capability of ensuring the driver&#39;s safety along with the co passengers and can easily be integrated with the car. The vehicle is connected to a hardware device that detects the collision with the help of a vibration sensor. The hardware device also consists of a fire sensor that senses fire breakouts. It communicates with an application in the Smartphone through Zigbee Bluetooth whenever collision or fire is sensed. If the driver doesn&#39;t want to communicate any information, he can cancel using the reset switch. Once the Bluetooth connection is established, the application would track and communicate the victim&#39;s GPS location along with the patient&#39;s entire medical report to their companions as well as the nearest hospital through an SMS. The application also checks the availability of the blood in the nearest blood bank and sends a notification back as soon as the availability of blood is ensured. A. Abstract:
In most of the mythological and medieval texts, the author has given prominence to the courageous male protagonist instead of the female character. Be it Hindu or Buddhist texts, female characters have been overlooked or ignored, but in Nepali literature, over the past fifty years, heroine-dominated dramas have been written, giving a central place to the entire being of female characters. In the present study, playwright Kali Prasad Rijal's Yashodhara (2059) Geetha Natak and Sharada Subba's Yashodhara (2065) drama have been taken as evidence material to conduct a comparative character study of the traditional and postmodern perspectives of Yashodhara drama. The concept of comparative criticism has been used as the basis for analyzing the evidence material. Comparative research method has been used in this. The style of presenting the same fact and character varies from author to author. The same object can be presented with the same or different perspectives. In this study, the Yashodhara drama has been studied and the character of Yashodhara has been studied comparatively. Kali Prasad Rijal has portrayed Yashodhara's character according to the traditional idealistic system, while Sharada Subba has portrayed Yashodhara's constructed character under postmodern consciousness. Portraying Yashodhara's character according to the idealistic system and portraying Yashodhara's constructed character under postmodern consciousness are completely different things. This is the main conclusion of this article.

Abstract:
Bharathi is the godfather of modern Tamil poetry. He is a genius in the exact sense of&nbsp; the term, is a polyglot and a polymath. While in Kasi he would sit on the steps of the Ganga and pore over with rapture the poems of Shelley. Not only that, he explicated Shelley to his willing friends. He established the &lsquo;Shelleyan Guild&rsquo; in Ettayapuram. During his exile in Pondicherry he became friends with Shri Aurobindo from whom he learnt the secrets of Vedas and the Upanishads. He indicted verses Vedic in spirit. He had translated &lsquo; The Bhagavad Geetha&rsquo; into Tamil. There is ample evidence in his Kuyil Paattu to show that he did something to hoodwink his critics, Mahadevan commenting on the conclusion of the Kuyil Paattu says: &ldquo; Thus the poem ends on a dry, almost ironical note merely for the purpose of forestalling the type of critic who is obstreperously impercipient.&rdquo; The dramatist personae of the Kuyil Paattu &nbsp;are Bharathi, a polyglot Kuyil, a monkey, a bull( the last two being in essence ghouls) a couple of young hunters a saint and a few nominal characters. Bharathi deliberately provided enough room for Pseudo-critics to animadvert his work. So, he clearly, though casually subjoined to his poem a riddle that would baf e all cynics, critics, criticasters and also a few good readers.

Abstract:
Abstract Social media platforms serve as hubs for discussions across diverse topics, fostering connections and information exchange. Pseudonymous platforms allow users to create separate digital identities and facilitating open expression of thoughts and opinions. Previous research tends to focus on younger age groups, resulting in a knowledge gap about older cohorts. This study aims to explore how baby boomers share their personal information on pseudonymous online platforms, using data from Reddit, a popular pseudonymous online platform known for topic-specific communities called subreddits. Data was collected from posts in five subreddits in February 2024, using user flairs (i.e., users’ self-tags of their age range). The dataset encompasses 619 baby boomers and 1.91 million sentences tokenized from generated contents, including both posts and comments. Following Geetha et al. (2021), private information was categorized into three domains: (a) personal relationships, (b) professional-related, and (c) health-related. Following manual annotation, natural language processing was applied to categorize sentences into different domains. Results showed that baby boomers shared personal relationships-related information more frequently than professional-related and health-related information. Compared to younger age groups, baby boomers were less likely to share personal information; however, content analysis revealed age-related uniqueness within the same domain. These findings imply that pseudonymous online platforms could serve as a resource for the aging population seeking information and support on personal relationships issues. However, considering the increased cybercrime risks associated with sharing personal information, future research needs to investigate how to help baby boomers navigate these platforms safely.

Abstract:
Abstract Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most aggressive subtype of breast cancer. TNBC displays exceptional transcriptional heterogeneity, both between patients and intratumorally, and disproportionately affects underserved women. Hypoxia, a state of low oxygen levels, is often present in the solid tumor microenvironment. In TNBC, hypoxia is a key driver of aggressiveness and therapeutic resistance. Past bulk RNA sequencing (RNAseq) studies in cancer research have lacked spatial resolution, failing to uncover precise transcriptional differences within tumor regions. This spatial limitation has been especially problematic for studying transcriptional heterogeneity of the cellular hypoxia response within tumors. By integrating single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomic analyses in a TNBC xenograft tumor model, our research has uncovered a novel hypoxia gene signature, specific to cancer cells. Elevated expression of this hypoxia signature predicts poorer prognosis in breast cancer patients, especially within TNBC patients and those of African ancestry. This suggests that hypoxia may play a role in the racial disparities observed in TNBC prognosis, potentially informing treatment strategies. This workflow introduces a novel framework for translating general spatial transcriptomics data into clinically relevant and accurate gene signatures. Citation Format: Kent Schechter, Long C. Abstract:
ABSTRACT There are several reasons for a root canal therapy to be unsuccessful. One of the causes for endodontic failure is instrument separation. As a consequence of fracture, access to the apical portion of the root canal is obstructed, leading to improper disinfection. The retrieval of separated instrument followed by obturation to the working length is the treatment option. Many factors can make retrieval difficult. In such cases, management can be done even by bypassing the separated instrument. Another factor for endodontic failure is underobturation. It may be due to block or ledge in the apical third of the canal. Proper instrumentation with frequent confirmation of apical patency during instrumentation can prevent formation of ledge. The inability to treat all the canals is the other cause leading to endodontic failure. Bacteria residing in these canals lead to the persistence of symptoms. Proper evaluation of the radiograph with proper deroofing can prevent chances for missed canals. Combination of all these factors can make retreatment difficult. This case report discusses two endodontic failure cases. In the first case, a premolar tooth with separated instrument and incomplete obturation was treated by retrieval of separated instrument and the obturation of both canals to working length was done. The second one was a molar tooth which had a missed canal, a separated instrument, and an incomplete obturation. Missed canal was negotiated and the fractured instrument was bypassed and root canal was obturated. How to cite this article Kumar MM, Nair KR, Geetha P, Nazar F, Alexander RN, Raj A. Abstract:
Abstract Hypoxia is an important hallmark of aggressive solid tumors and a key driver of metastasis and resistance to therapy. Hypoxic stress induces the activation of various factors, such as hypoxia- inducible factors (HIFs), which facilitate cellular adaptation and promote tumorigenesis. Given the complexity of this mechanism, identifying novel targets that sensitize hypoxic tumors to therapy could have significant clinical impact. We demonstrate HIF-independent induction of BACH1 within multiple TNBC (Triple-Negative Breast Cancer) cell lines and patient-derived organoids under hypoxic conditions. Utilizing ChIP-seq, bulk, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics across diverse BACH1 knockout tumor models, our study revealed that BACH1 selectively and directly modulates the transcriptional response associated with hypoxia and stress in TNBC. TGCA analysis reveals racial disparities in BACH1 mRNA expression in TNBC BACH1 mRNA and activity across all breast cancer subtypes (Basal, Her, LumA, LumB). Our findings suggest that BACH1 is an oxygen-sensitive mediator of hypoxia and a promising therapeutic target for mitigating hypoxia-induced pro-metastatic signaling and treatment resistance. These results also highlight the necessity of accounting for racial differences in BACH1 expression and function as a means of developing targeted therapy that takes into account racial disparities in TNBC. Abstract:
Aim: The study designs and fabricates traps with diverse wire mesh colors and shapes for field experiments. It also collects detailed catch data to assess their catch efficiency and determine the most effective design. Methodology: Experimental fish traps were fabricated utilizing four distinct colors (Light green, Dark green, White and Orange) and three different shapes (rectangle, square and circle). Fishing trials were conducted in selected fishing villages of Thereshpuram, with the traps operated fortnightly from June 2022 to May 2023. The catch rate per trip (CPUE) was calculated using the Total catch (in numbers) divided by the Unit Effort (White, 1987). An economic analysis of trap fishery was also performed based on gross revenue and total cost (Geetha et al., 2014). Results: The traps' overall catch per unit effort (CPUE) was recorded at 0.48Nos hr-1. Siganus canaliculatus emerged as the dominant species among the fishes trapped, constituting 16% of the total catch. Regarding trap color, the highest CPUE was observed with traps of dark green color (0.63 Nos hr-1), followed by light green (0.51 Nos hr-1), white (0.49 Nos hr-1) and orange (0.38 Nos hr-1). Economically, the performance of the trap fishery was evaluated using indicators such as operating cost/year, fixed cost, gross revenue and profit cost ratio. The success of the trap fishery was further emphasized by a benefit-cost ratio (BCR) of 3.50. Interpretation: Dark green-colored, square-shaped traps show promise in significantly enhancing fishermen's profits due to their higher catch per unit effort (CPUE) compared to other colors. Moreover, dark green traps may offer ecological advantages by blending into natural surroundings. This study highlights their potential and provides practical insights for fishermen to make informed gear choices, considering factors like color and shape. Key words: BCR, Color, CPUE, Shape, Trap
