ABSTRACTTiming of germination and flowering under different environmental conditions was investigated in four coexisting serotinous desert plants: Blepharis grossa (annual herb), Geigeria data, Geigeria ornativa (facultative perennial herbs) and Petalidium setosum (perennial shrub). Germination patterns were similar under varying environmental conditions in the study species, except for P. setosum, which germinated later when conditions were less favourable. B. grossa always germinated early, G. alata and G. ornativa later, which could be explained by differences in their seed dispersal mode.

The microscopic scissurellids are being currently revised; scissurellids is used here for the small Vetigastropoda formerly classified in Scissurelloidea, but which has been shown to be a polyphyletic assemblage (e.g., Geiger 2008, Geiger & Thacker 2005). ABSTRAK Secara alami radiasi hadir di lingkungan kita. Dalam kehidupan manusia, berdasarkan evolusi lingkungan, terdapat tingkat radiasi ionizing yang signifikan. Abstract:

El acceso a los sentimientos y su intencionalidad son dos problemas clásicos en la tradición fenomenológica. Un texto cumbre es el artículo de Moritz Geiger “La conciencia de los sentimientos” (1911), en el que cuestionaba tanto su intencionalidad como la posibilidad de observarlos en su manifestación original. Edmund Husserl, ese mismo año, se confrontaba con las tesis de Geiger en manuscritos de investigación recientemente publicados. En el presente artículo expongo las posiciones enfrentadas de ambos filósofos y ofrezco una conclusión crítica sobre los presupuestos teóricos de Geiger.

This work considers the manifestation of spontaneous breakdowns of Geiger-Mueller counters. This is an experimental type of work. The reasons leading to the spontaneous breakdowns of Geiger-Mueller counters have been analysed under controlled laboratory conditions. The experiments were carried out under the ?constant voltage?.
