Abstract:
Aim. To study environmental factors and heredity in families of girls with hypomenstrual syndrome. Methods. Clinical and genealogical analysis was conducted in 66 families of girls with hypomenstrual syndrome (HMS) in the Laboratory of Medical Genetics of the Institute for Children and Adolescents Health Care at the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. The data were analyzed statistically using Excel and SPSS Statistics 17.0 programs. Results. Based on the clinical and genealogical analysis conducted in families of sick girls, negative environmental factors (mother's bad habits before pregnancy, pathological course of pregnancy and Caesarean section for medical reasons in mothers of girls; stress of girls at educational institution, Internet addiction etc.) have been determined. Family accumulation of gynecological (non inflammatory) and endocrine diseases has been established. Conclusions. Negative environmental factors and hereditary burden concerning gynecological pathology in 59.1 % of families have been set, and transfer of pathological signs was likely more frequently observed by the maternal line (79.2 %) than by paternal line (8.3 %) and both lines simultaneously (12.5 %). The incidence of gynecological diseases in 5.7 times, and endocrine – in 1.8 times exceeded their frequency in relatives of healthy girls. Keywords: girls, hypomenstrual syndrome, genealogical, environmental factors and heredity.

AbstractAfter a brief introduction to the prehistory of the Editio Critica Maior of the Institute for New Testament Textual Research in Münster, the edition itself is presented. First, the path from the collection of material to the creation of the critical apparatus of the edition is traced. Then the presentation of material in the printed Editio Critica Maior is introduced and it is shown how to use it. Since the New Testament tradition is characterized by contamination, which makes the application of the classical “Lachmannian” stemmatology impossible, a new method had to be developed for the penetration of the New Testament manuscript tradition, the so-called Coherence-Based Genealogical Method (CBGM), which is explained as short and simple as possible. Finally, the study introduces the digital Editio Critica Maior and its use and gives an outlook to the future of the Editio Critica Maior as an interactive digital edition of the Greek New Testament.

Abstract:
The genealogical structure of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy cattle has been represented by 12 tested and approved farm bloodlines, ancestors of which are Holstein bulls of red colour (Improver 333471, Hanover 1629391, Regal 352882, Nahit 300502, Inhancer 343514, Cavalier 1620273), Montbeliarde (Supreme 33470, Mayerdel 1599075, Dynamic 359742, Dairymen 1672325, Shevrey 6241) and Ayrshire (Don Juan 79601) breeds. Selection process ensures constant movement of lines and inheritance of some lines moves to historical and statistical work and is used for analysing the successful selection and the best combination, whereas, the other ones improve genetic value of economically useful traits of productivity in the next generations and, therefore, they are progressing and developing. Qualitative features of related groups by the breeding traits are a basis on which we should concentrate all the range of selection and breeding work at each stage of breed improvement because a line and a breed, in the classical sense, are inseparable concepts of a large conglomerate of a population, which has been created by many scientists and practitioners. The aim of this work was to analyse the current state of genealogical structure of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy breed for the breeding stock and their belonging to breeds and lines. The materials of research for characteristics and analysis of genealogical structure of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy cattle were breeding accounting data on the form №7-mol. In total the data for 74 breeding farms of 15 regions of Ukraine were used. Belonging to breeds, lines and data for assess by origin and progeny were determined on the basis of SUMS "Orsek", Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V. Zubets of National Academy of Agrarian Science of Ukraine. The availability of frozen semen of the Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy bulls admitted to reproduce breeding stock was determined according to the annual catalogues for 2015 and 2016.2016. Modern genealogical structure of the breeding stock is formed due, in addition to Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy breed, Red Holstein, Jersey, Montbeliarde and Simmental breeds. The total number of females is 48,279 animals, including 24,264 cows and 24,015 heifers originating from 375 bulls. The share of Simmental bulls involved in the selection was 11% (42) with the number of 881 animals. The breeding stock from Holstein bulls (207) is 82%, whereas, the share of 101 bulls of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy breed is only 15%. Modern genealogical structure of the breeding stock is formed due, in addition to Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy breed, Red Holstein, Jersey, Montbeliarde and Simmental breeds. The total number of females is 48279 animals, including 24264 cows and 24015 heifers originating from 375 bulls. The breeding stock from Holstein bulls (207) is 82%, whereas, the share of 101 bulls of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy breed is only 15%. Genealogical structure of breeding stock of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy breed has been represented by 15 bloodlines. The fewest (71 animals) was obtained from three bulls Magnet 1560362, Majority 1599069 and Maximus 297414. The 10%-share (4712 animals from 57 bulls) from the total number was genealogical structure of six approved farm bloodlines of the Ukrainian breed. For breeding evaluation of origin (pedigree index) 17 Holstein bulls had the average value – +27.6, including seven bulls with negative PI-595 and 10 bulls with positive PI + 463.5. For bulls of Simmental and native breeds, the indices were 6 (-122), 2 (+264), 4 (-315) and 12 (+587.8), 1 (-264) 11 (665) respectively. Discrepancy (2 of 35 investigated bulls) with the minimum requirements (30 first-calf heifers in 4 herds) concerning the evaluation of bulls by progeny makes impossible to obtain objective information about breeding value of bull. In our opinion, the factors which, can make a difference in the genealogical structure of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy cattle are to increase the share of bloodlines of the native breed through catalogue of admitted bulls to reproduce breeding stock, which is compiled by the materials of pedigree enterprise of Ukraine. Based on materials of 2015, during the mating period 59 bulls of 15 bloodlines were involved, including 38 approved bulls which share of sperm was 84%. In 2016, the available frozen semen of bulls of the native breed decreased by 674.5 thousand doses which was 81% compared to presented one in 2015. Conclusions. Current genealogy of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy cattle has the ramified system represented 42 Simmental bulls of 15 bloodlines, 207 Holstein bulls of 19 bloodlines, 101 native bulls of 15 bloodlines and two Jersey and Montbeliarde bulls. In modern realities of selection and breeding work, concern is widely use of Holstein sires in the reproduction of breeding stock of Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy that each year minimizes the share (now about 10%) in the selection of approved bloodlines and "genetic identity of native breed". The perspective of involving bulls and with it the widespread use of the method of breeding by bloodlines in Ukrainian Red-and-White Dairy cattle is too illusory, whereas every year the availability of semen of the admitted bulls in sperm banks of Ukraine decreases (only the last year by 81%), and inability (with requirements) for the evaluation by progeny of those bulls which have already had pedigree index.

Abstract:
Using a study on foundings of Silicon Valley law firms, I propose and test an organizational theory on the genealogical persistence of gender inequality that emphasizes the routines (or blueprints) and experiences that founders transfer from their parent firms to their new firms. This transfer links the parent firm's gender hierarchy to women's advancement opportunities in the new firm. Founders from parent firms that historically had women in leadership positions, such that female leadership is institutionalized, are more likely to found firms that promote women into prominent positions. Conversely, founders from firms that historically had women in subordinate positions, such that female subordination is institutionalized, are less likely to promote women into prominent positions. Findings are consistent with the theory and also show that the persistence effect is stronger for founders who were previously lower-ranked employees and for founders who institute an organization of work similar to their parent firm. The study suggests that future research should investigate routines and structures that not only generate gender inequality unintentionally but are in turn replicated across generations of organization through the mobility of employees.

Abstract:
The aim of the research – is to study the qualitative composition of milk of cows of Ukrainian brown dairy breed in terms of households and in the context of genealogical descent. Method. Research conducted under the conditions of the State Enterprise "Pilot Farm of the Institute of Agriculture of Northern East of NAAS» in Sumy region, Enterprize of Additional Liability “Mayak” in Trostyanetc region, State Enterprise "Pilot Farm Agricultural Firm “Nadiya” of the Institute of Agriculture of Northern East of NAAS» in Romny region. Milk production was assessed by monthly milking control with sampling of milk. Quality indicators measured in the laboratory of the former Sumy State Breeding Center on the equipment of Bentley. We investigated the percentage of fat, percentage of protein, including casein, percentage of dry matter, skimmed residue, contents of somatic cells. Biometric processing of results was carried out by the conventional method (Plohynskoho M.O., 1969), using software Statistica 6.0. The results of the research. Studies have been conducted on the content of fat, protein, casein, lactose and somatic cell count in cow milk. Established difference of qualitative composition of milk of cows depending on the households and on the genealogical origin of the animals. Analysis of our studies indicate that the level of quality indicators of milk production of animals of Ukrainian brown dairy breeds in different farms is significantly different. All the main indicators of quality prevailed in animals of Enterprize of Additional Liability “Mayak”. For the fat content of milk cows of Distinkshna line 159523 were dominated. They though not significantly, but dominated the animals of Eleganta 148551 and Laddi 125640 lines for 0.16% and 0.19% respectively. The substantial significant difference of the content of lactose in the milk of cows of different lines is not set. Animals of Distinkshna line 159523 significantly superior cows of Eleganta 148551 and Laddi 125640 lines for the protein, for 0,24% (P < 0,05) and 0,32% (P < 0,05) respectively. For the casein content they were significantly superior then Laddi 125640 line cows – on 0,24% (P < 0,05). For the dry matter content and skimmed milk residue animals of Distinkshna line 159523 also have the advantage. Conclusions. As a result of studies found that the level of quality indicators of milk production in animals of Ukrainian brown dairy breed in different farms is significantly different. So fat content in milk varies 3,43–3,98%; protein content – 3,10–3,55%; casein content – 2,83–3,31%; dry matter content – 12,4–13,1%, fat-free dry milk residue – 8,95–9,13%. The dependence of milk quality indicators based on linear descent. For the main indices are preferred animals of Distinkshna line 159523.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of studies of fattening and meat qualities of young pigs of different genealogical lines of large white breed and genotypes by the gene of melanocortin receptor – 4 (MC4R). The research was conducted in “Druzhba-Kaznacheyivka” LLC, the genetics laboratory of the Institute of Pig Breeding and APV NAAS and the animal husbandry laboratory of the State Institution Institute of Grain Crops NAAS. The work was performed according to the research program of NAAS №30 “Innovative technologies of breeding, industrial and organic production of pig products” (“Pig Breeding”). DNA-typing of the melanocortin-4 receptor gene (MC4R) was performed by Kim K., Larsen N., Short T. et al. (2000). Evaluation of young pigs for fattening and meat qualities was carried out taking into account the following quantitative characteristics: the average daily increase in live weight during the period of control fattening, g; age of live weight 100 kg, days; fat thickness at the level of 6–7 thoracic vertebrae, mm; the length of the cooled carcass cm; the length of the bacon half of the cooled half-carcass, cm. The length of the cooled carcass was measured with a measuring tape from the edge of the fusion of the pubic bones to the anterior surface of the first cervical vertebra; the length of the bacon half of the cooled half-carcass - from the anterior edge of the pubic bone to the middle of the anterior edge of the first rib (Berezovsky, Khatko, 2005). Conditions for feeding and keeping young pigs of the experimental groups were identical and complied with zootechnical standards. Economic efficiency of use of animals of various genotypes (МС4RАА, МС4RАG) and biometric processing of the received data (Lakin, 1990). calculated according to generally accepted methods. It is established that young pigs of large white breed of controlled population at the age of reaching live weight of 100 kg exceed the minimum requirements of the elite class by 6.73, fat thickness at the level of 6–7 thoracic vertebrae – 30.84, length of chilled carcass – 3.52 %. Significant difference between animals of different genotypes by melanocortin 4 receptor gene (МС4RАА, МС4RАG) was established by the average daily gain of live weight during the control period of fattening, the age of reaching live weight of 100 kg, fat thickness at the level of 6–7 thoracic vertebrae, length half of the cooled half-carcass and a complex index of fattening and meat qualities (B. Tyler's index). Young pigs of large white breed line Kotilo UA 8819347 outperformed peers line Azuro UA 8800557 on average daily live weight gain during the control period of fattening by 5.29%, the age of 100 kg live weight – 3.29 %, fat thickness at the level of 6–7 breasts vertebrae – 7.14 %. The longer length of chilled carcass (by 1.13 %) and the length of bacon half of chilled half carcass (by 2.68 %) were characterized by animals of Azuro UA 8800557. The correlation coefficient between fattening and meat qualities in young pigs of large white breed of the controlled herd varies ranging from –0.865 (tr = 22.26, P < 0.001) to +0.913 (tr = 35.43, P < 0.001). The maximum increase in additional products was obtained from young pigs of the МС4RАG genotype (+2.57 %) and the genealogical line Kotilo UA 8819347 (+4.86 %), and its cost is +694.26 – 1312.88 UAH/head. in accordance.

Abstract:
Thanks to the breeding work carried out to create the Sumy intra-breed type of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed, it was possible to increase the level of milk productivity of animals, which today amounts to more than 6.0 thousand kg of milk. The level of milk yield is the main in the system of dairy cattle breeding. The quality indicators of dairy raw materials are also of great importance for the economy of milk production. This issue has become particularly important recently, which is associated with the negative consequences of using the Holstein breed, namely, a decrease in the level of fat and protein in milk compared to local breeds. Researchers attach great importance to the study of individual fractions of milk protein and their impact on technological qualities during its processing. Therefore, new achievements in genetics and biotechnology have been widely applied in practice. Genetic markers are even more widely used in global dairy cattle breeding. The latter allow us to identify individual genotypes at many loci and provide information about population parameters, such as alleles and genetic frequencies. Dairy cattle breeding programs in many countries around the world take into account genetic research. This is due to the possibility of rapid improvement of the quality and technological properties of milk. The effect of capa-casein genotypes on milk quality has been studied by many scientists. The capa-casein gene polymorphism has been known since 1964. By 1988, the capa-casein gene of cattle was isolated and its structure was characterized. To date, thirteen genetic variants of cattle capa-casein have been described: А, В, C, D, E, F, Н, J, I, Х, Az, A1. Genetic variants A and B are the most common, while other alleles are quite rare. The interest in this casein fraction is due to the fact that cheese from the milk of cows with the BB genotype thickens 25% faster and has a clot twice as dense as milk from cows with the AA genotype, and accordingly the yield of cheese from the milk of cows of the BB genotype is 10% higher than from the milk of cows of the AA genotype. The aim of our work was to study the features of the formation of the genealogical structure of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed in the Sumy region and its influence on the frequency of capa-casein genotypes. Materials and methods. The research was conducted at the State Enterprise "Experimental Farm of Institute of Agriculture of Northern East of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine" of Sumy region on the number of cows of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed (n = 23) (first group) and Sumy intra-breed type of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed (n = 40) (second group). Retrospective studies were conducted by studying the ORSEC SUMS database for the period from 1976 to 2020. The capa-casein gene polymorphism was determined in the genetic laboratory of the Institute of Physiology n. a. Bogomolets of NAS using real-time molecular biological analysis of allele recognition by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The results obtained were processed by the method of variational statistics using the statistical 6.0 software package. The formation of an array of Sumy intra-breed type of Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed on the farm was started in the mid-80s of the last century. So on the breeding stock of the Lebedinian breed began to use the sperm of bulls-producers of the Holstein breed. Bulls-producers of the Holstein lines Aidial 1013415, S. T. Rokita 252803, Sowering 198998, M. Chiftein 95679, Eleweishna 1491007 and Astronaut 1458744 were involved in this process. Further formation of the genealogical structure of the herd of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed and Sumy intra-breed type had their own characteristics. Thus, in the period from 1991 to 2000, the breeding stock of animals of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed came from bulls-producers of 8 lines, while Sumy intra-breed type belonged to 13 lines. The most common lines in the first animals were – Aidial 1013415, Sowering 1989986, M. Chiftein 95679 in the second – Eleveishn 1491007, M. Chiftein 95679, Chief 1727381. The period since 2001 has been characterized by the fact that the formation of the genealogical structure of black and white herds in Sumy region was accompanied by the use of purebred bulls of the Holstein breed. The share of bulls of Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed was less than 10%. This contributed to the fact that the breeding stock of breeding herds belonged mainly to three Holstein lines: Chief 1427381, Eleweishna 1491007 and Starbuck 352790. We have found that the frequency of capa-casein is somewhat different in animals of different origins. Thus, animals of Sumy type were characterized with a higher frequency of both the desired homozygous BB genotype (20%) and the homozygous AA genotype (60%). A higher frequency of the heterozygous AB genotype (36%) was characteristic of animals of Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed. At the same time, the frequency of alleles was almost the same. There is a difference in the frequency of genotypes and alleles by capa-casein between first-born animals of different parental affiliation. Altodegri 64633889 bull daughters were characterized by a higher frequency of homozygous desired BB genotype. High frequencies of heterozygous AB genotypes were found at daughters of bull Morian 1402173979. All daughters of the bulls Detective 349159846, Maygold 534651702 were homozygous AA. The highest frequency of the BB allele was characteristic of the daughters of the bull Altadegri 64633889. Conclusions. According to the results of the study, the peculiarities of the formation of the genealogical structure of the herd of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed, which was formed according to various programs, were established. The genealogical structure at the beginning of herd formation had its own characteristics and depended on breeding directions. The period of the last twenty years in the region is characterized by the total use of Holstein Bulls on the breeding stock of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed, which explains the linear belonging of the majority of livestock to the lines of Chief 1427381, Eleveishna 1491007 and Starbuck 352790. The consequence of this is a high conditional bloodline in the Holstein breed of the firstborn. According to the results of genetic research, it was established that in the herd of Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed the genotype of cattle by capa-casein significantly depended on the origin. Thus, Sumy type animals are characterized by a higher frequency of homozygous genotypes – 80%, while the frequency of alleles in animals of different origins is almost the same. Parental origin also had a significant effect on the genotype of animals on this basis.

Abstract:
The Conservation of genetic resources in animal husbandry is a necessity arising from the possibilities and reality of the diversity of the gene pool available in the country, which determines the productive and adaptive capabilities of individual breeds of cattle. Aboriginal breeds are carriers of unique genes and gene complexes, which cannot be restored if they disappear. Marker-asissted selection is one of the current areas of improvement of dairy cattle productivity. It allows the selection of parental forms at the genetic level. An important issue in the selection of dairy cattle today is the study of the relationship between hereditary factors that determine the types of proteins in milk. Genetic variants of beta-casein significantly affect on human health, kappa-casein is associated with the quality of raw milk and cheese making properties. The aim of the research was to study the available sperm production of Lebedinian bulls by beta- (CSN2) and kappacasein (CSN3) genes. The material for research was the sperm of bulls of Lebedinian breed cattle. Determination of beta- and kappa-casein gene polymorphism was performed by PCR-RFLP method in the laboratory of the Institute of Animal Husbandry of NAAS. Analysis of the genealogical structure showed that 12 bulls-producers belong to 8 lines. Of the 12 bulls, 5 are purebred Lebedinian, 7 are crossbreeds with the swiss breed. Among those studied for the complex genotype (CSN2- (CSN3), one bull had the desired genotype A2A2BB, another bulls had genotypes A2A2AB; A1A2BB; A1A2AB; A1A1AA. Five bulls have the A1A2AA genotype and two bulls have the A1A1AB genotype. The high frequency of the A2 allele of beta-casein (46%) and the B allele of kappa-casein (33%) was observed in sires of Lebedinian breed. To create micropopulations with the desired complex A2A2 / BB genotype, sires are recommended in which the frequency of alleles of beta-casein A2 and kappacasein B satisfies the requirements. Key words: sire, beta-casein, kappa-casein, genotype, allele, frequency, haploid.

Abstract:
Introduction. Conceptual framework system biodiversity in livestock include a combination of a set of measures aimed at the conservation and repopulation animals - the preservation of genetic diversity in situ in vitro and preservation of genetic diversity through the accumulation of genetic material and its cryopreservation as germ and somatic cells, zygotes, tissues (ex situ in vitro). Gene pool facilities require maintenance system to produce the required number gene pool products, the main criterion of evaluation which is playing the typical breed characteristics and features. The unifying element in the system of biodiversity - a Bank of Animals of genetic resources of the Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS, which is attributed to objects of national heritage. Relevance of the creation and operation of the bank animal genetic resources of IABG nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS teeth caused by rapidly narrowing biodiversity in general and the diversity of farm animals in particular. According to the ratified November 29, 1994 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "Convention on Biodiversity" Pan-European strategy and objectives of conservation of biological and landscape diversity Bank animal genetic resources of IABG nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS performs the task of enhancing the role of agriculture in maintaining biodiversity and fostering international cooperation for the conservation of genetic material of small species and endangered species according to the objectives of science and technology program number 37 "The system works in populations and biodiversity conservation of genetic resources of agricultural animals" ("Saving gene pool breeds"). It operates as a scientific and technological structure that provides storage and preservation of national and global gene pool of small, local and endangered species, populations and genotypes of rare farm animals. According to current trends driving the selection and breeding of livestock Ukraine and focusing on the short term, bank of sperm Institute also provides storage and rational use of better breeding material in the framework of breeding programs and improving the genetic potential productivity of animals. The purpose of this study was to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of genetic material stored in the bank of Animal of Genetic Resources of Institute of Animals Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS. Material and methods of research. A description of the genetic material that is deposited in the bank of animal genetic resources of IABG nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS the results of the inventory on January 1, 2017 and acts of reception and transmission. Analyzed information forms the primary account (1-mol and 1-beef) and certificates of origin bulls. To characterize the gene pool of animals breeding materials included books of evaluation on the quality sires and progeny data directory bulls allowed to use in the selection process. Results. Bank Animal of Genetic Resources was formed on the basis of the Republican gene pool bank of sperm, which was established in 1976 under former Ukrainian Research Institute Breeding and Artificial insemination of cattle (now the Institute of Animals Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS. Forming of animal genetic resources IABG nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS was due to tribal enterprises, which sperm came from almost all regions of Ukraine. Since the gene pool of the National Bank of sperm of animal genetic resources deposited 26.043 thousand sperm doses of 44 bulls who participated in developing Ukrainian Beef breed, and founder of the Ukrainian Beef breed lines. The bank remains Institute of semen sires - the pioneers of related groups sperm are used to display the Ukarainian Beef breed: 81 Eoiziano, 2317 Eymo, 274 Desant and 382 Eufemio (Chianina), 5203 Juncker, 8574103527 Zheriko (Charolais) and founder of the factory line - 0988 Anchar (Ukrainian Beef). Also, the bank laid sperm factory line Ukrainian Black-and-White Dairy cattle - 897 Elbrus. Now bank of sperm of Institute holds more than 145.3 thousand sperm doses outstanding bulls 16 dairy and 14 beef breeds in the number of 87.4 thousand doses of 116 sires and 38.6 thousand. Doses from 77 bulls beef breeds which is intended for use directly in selection and breeding work with breeds. To implement the program "Preservation of the gene pool of breeds" in the Bank of animal genetic resources generative cells remain in an amount of 19.5 thousand sperm doses of 27 bulls and four local endangered breeds (Ukrainian Whiteheaded, Lebedyn, Ukrainian Gray and Carpathian Brown). If necessary, use genetic material of these species in gene pool herds in the future will make it possible to recover the lost line. During 2011- 2013 the specialists studied indicators mobility, dynamic characteristics of movement and survival defrosting bull sperm stored in a bank animals genetic resources of IABG nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS using computer analyzer Sperm Vision company «Minitub» (USA). Indices straight-forward motion and absolute bull sperm survival rate for different shelf life. The Institute staff conducted molecular genetic evaluation of genotypes bulls for loci QTL (k-Cn, βLG, GH (dairy and cattle breeds) TG, CAPN1 530, MSTN), ISSR-markers using a as being primers for fragments of dinucleotide and trinucleotide microsatellite locus (ACC) 6G, (GAG) 6C, (AG)9C, (GA)9C and microsatellite markers that are included in the list of recommended ISAG (BM1824, BM2113, INRA023, SPS115, TGLA122, TGLA126, TGLA227, ETH10, ETH225 and ETH3). The information for the studied markers allows you to make more detailed description of the genetic diversity of planted material stored in a bank of genetic resources of animals IABG. The staff of the Institute and other academic Institutions in the system of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which performs research program NAAS "Saving gene pool breds" continues to work to build a bank of animal genetic resources. Also, the Institute formed DNA bank of somatic cells and tissues of various farm animals, with appropriate breeding and genetic characteristics of genetic material. To enhance the role of the bank of Institute of Animals Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS in the management of genetic resources and conservation of biodiversity in the future of its formation should be based on the basis that from commercial breeds of farm animals lay biological material only from their greatest representatives, and for indigenous, local and endangered breeds - representatives from the widest possible range of different genealogical structure that will characterize the entire population. Conclusions. Formation of the bank and its functioning is not only the accumulation and cryopreservation of genetic material of all kinds of animals, and in ensuring the implementation of scientific programs to maintain the diversity and specificity of gene pool facilities and breeding, biotechnology and other scientific research.

Abstract:
The article presents the methods of creation and results of bank genophound functioning during 1976 – 2017 je. The conditions of selection organisation in cattle of the Ukraine during the term 1970 – 1980 je. and necessary of semenbank creation have been accounted. The importance of semenbank in creation new native specialized breeds dairy and beef direction of productivity and preservation genes of local breeds of cattle have been accounted. The main task of the bank of genetic resources was the creation, prolonged storage of the necessary reserves of sperm, embryos and oocytes of animals with a special genetic value, similar to the world collection of plants at the Institute of Plant Sciences nd. M. I. Vavilov and their effective use in solving the most important breeding tasks:- removal of new breeds, types, lines, radical improvement of existing ones;- conservation of the gene pool and purebred breeding of the outbred type in the closed Populations of gene pool herds of local disappearing and local indigenous breeds, as well as reproducers of specialized breeds established in Ukraine;- Selective use of the gene pool of animals of various species and breeds in the future 25 years or more during the reproduction of pure-breed herds (breeds) that have disappeared, if necessary, on the mother stock of another breed. During the period from 1976 to 2000, 1.7 million spermodoses of outstanding bulls of 22 milk, 12 beef breeds and more than 15 domestic genotypes were placed in the sperm bank. The presence of gene pool stocks of sperm ensured the efficient use of outstanding animals at the breed level as a whole, which became the basis for the accelerated withdrawal of new red and white and black-and-white dairy, Ukrainian beef breeds. The formation of the genealogical structure of the lines, plant types of these rocks was provided exclusively through the gene pool of the sperm bank of the institute. .In the Ukrainian red and white dairy breed, 10 plant lines (Improver, Supreme, Hanover, Mayerdeil, Regal, Inhancer, Kavaer, Dinamnik, Nagit, Dayrimen) were derived, in the Ukrainian beef line - Euphemio line, Eoiziano; in the black and white dairy - the line of the Sudina. The gene reserves of semen of these ancestors of the lines are stored in the sperm bank for more than 20 years for use in prospective breeding. Scientists of the sperm bank determined the optimal number of sperm dosages for each breeding formation that needs to be preserved. To lay the line it is necessary to have 5,0 thousand spermodoses from its ancestor and 2,0 thousand of his best sons. From all bulls of local breeds is laid for a long preservation of 1,0 thousand spermodozes. The technology of deep freezing of sperm of other animal species (stallions, pigs) was worked out; the possibility of influencing certain factors on sperm in the course of their long-term storage was studied. It was found that, the duration of preservation of the gene pool stocks of semen of bulls from the selected breeds is determined by the level of their breeding value on a specific useful basis.

Abstract:
The aim of the work is to analyze the distribution of allelic variants of genes associated with the signs of milk productivity of animals, in particular, Kappa–casein loci and to establish on its basis genetic structure of the population of producers of the Lebedinian breed by the Kappa-casein gene. Material and methods of research. The material for the research was the sperm of bulls of the Lebedinian breed cattle (n = 12 heads), evaluated by the quality of offspring. Determination of Kappa-casein gene polymorphism was carried out by PLR-PDFR method in the laboratory of Institute of Animal Husbandry of NAAS. Statistical data processing was carried out on a PC according to the generally accepted methodology using MS Excel software. Research result. The genetic study of the sperm production of 12 bulls of the Lebedinian breed by the gene Kappa-casein (CSN3) was aimed at studying the genetic characteristics of each of the bull and taking into account the possibilities of using their sperm production in custom-made sails. The analysis of the genealogical structure showed that 12 bulls were referred to 8 lines. Of the 12 pedigrees, 5 purebred Lebedinian bulls and 7 crosses with Swiss breed bulls. Among the studied bulls by the CSN3 gene, two bulls of the desired homozygous genotype BB were identified – Final 1008, Zaychyk 17000; 6 bulls were homozygous for the AA genotype, 4 bulls were heterozygous. The frequency of the desired BB genotype among the studied animals was 0.17, and the frequency of carriers of the AA genotype was 0.50. The frequency of carriers of heterozygous genotype AB was 0.33. The frequency of carriers of allele A in the studied animals is 0.66, which is almost twice the frequency of allele B – 0.34. The frequency of allele B in Kappa-casein in herds for the preservation of the Lebedinian breed can be increased by using bulls who have a B-allelic variant of Kappa-casein in their genome. Summary. The bulls of the Lebedinian breed recorded a sufficiently high frequency of allele variant in the Kappa-casein locus, which allows for further selection of cattle aimed at increasing the suitability for cheese production of milk. The presence of identified bulls with desirable genotypes of BB and AB Kappa-casein makes it possible to create herds that produce milk with higher technological properties in the production of cheese.

Abstract:
The need to study constitutional-exterior features of dairy cattle is due, of course, established in many studies to their positive connectivity with performance and lasting economic use. The vast majority of scientists-breeders thinks, that breeding cattle by technological features should determine the basic direction of work in farming on the threshold of XXI century. Based from the above, the aim of the research was to evaluate the productive and technological features cattle of dairy breeds combined with linear estimation from the body type. The study focused on linear estimation of cattle dairy breeds by the type of body structure and study their impact on economically useful traits – don’t have any doubts. The study was conducted in pedigree cattle breeding farms of Holstein, Ukrainian black- and red-white dairy breeds in stock of 1300 cows. Linear evaluation of cows by external type carried from the method of Hmelnychyi L.M. developed by employees of Institute to breeding and animal genetics. Comparative evaluation of animals for productive characteristics held within the breeding herds and genealogical groups. In the course of the work done was applied genealogical, population, genetics and mathematical methods Study of frequency heritability, variability, estimation of genotype of animals and other classical research methods. A statistical analysis result of research was conducted on algorithms N.A. Plohinskyi.Cows first calves Ukrainian red- and black-white dairy breeds are characterized by the following measurements articles: the height at the withers and sacrum 132.7&132,2 and 141,1 & 140,8 cm, with well-developed breasts in depth (72.0 and 71.5 cm), width (44.6 and 43.1 cm) and girth (189.9 and 187.9 cm), with extensive backwards in tubers of Ilium (51.3 and 50.9 cm) and in buttocks (34.6 and 35.2 cm). Spit length of rump was 52.5 and 51.8 cm, and body length - 162.4 and 161.2 cm. First-born Holstein breed exceeded peers Ukrainian dairy breeds by the withers height on (1.4 and 1.9 cm) and a sacrum (1.2 and 1.5 cm), by breast depth 1.1 and 1.6 cm, but they are inferior on the basis of the width of the breast, especially in comparison with cattle Ukrainian red-white milk breed (1.8 cm). Holstein animals differed broader backwards in tubers of Ilium (0.3 and 0.7 cm), in the hipbone (0.3 and 0.4 cm) and in buttocks (by 2.0 and 1.1 cm), and longer by 1.2 and 2.4 cm trunk, by chest girth of 2.4 and 4.4 cm.Large coefficients of variation measurements describing the distance from the bottom of the udder to hock (Cv = 33,2 - 42,3%), between the front (Cv = 24,2 - 28,1%), back (Cv = 33,3 - 53,9%) and side teat (Cv = 19,1 - 27,0%) indicate the level of not consolidation studied animal herds on these characteristics. Comparative characteristics of the firstborn cow’s udder Ukrainian red- and black-white dairy breeds shows, that animal’s udder great and makes for girth - 132.4 and 135.3 cm, length - 38.7 and 40.0 cm and width - 29.9 and 32.3 cm with advantage of reliable peers Ukrainian black-white dairy cattle for the circumference of 2.9 cm (TD = 2.41), length - 1.3 cm (td = 1,74) and width - 2.4 cm (td = 4,56). Most of the morphological features of the udder is in the positive connection with the largest yield per lactation. These include the circumference (r = 0,430 and 0.335) length (r = 0,376 and 0.353), width (r = 0,347 and 0.232) and depth of the front quarters (r = 0,160 and 0.166).The estimated population of the first-calves is characterized by rather high rates, then ranging within 1.85 - 1.90 kg / min. exceeding the maximum target standards for Ukrainian dairy breeds 0.05 - 0.10 kg / min. During the breeding to improve dairy breeds is important to know and take into account the relationship between the magnitude and intensity of milking yield. When examined the effect of daily yield on the intensity of milk found, that the highest daily yield, the more intense cow milk off. This high correlation coefficients (r = 0,438 - 0,511) in large samples with high reliability (td = 6.11 – 7.87). Share heredity influence the total variability measurements articles of udder varies widely. Most udder traits are positive in relation to the size of yield and total yield of milk fat. A high level of heritability coefficients udder morphological characteristics sufficient for efficient breeding of dairy cattle and there was a positive correlation between the main floors of the udder and the largest yield provide breeding aimed at improvement.

Abstract:
On the materials of primary zootechnical recording in the herds of Grey Ukrainian (SE EF “Polyvanivka” of the Institute of Сereal Сrops of NAAS, 105 culled and 263 alive animals, and SE EF “Askania-Nova” of M.F.Ivanov Institute of Animal Breeding of Steppe Regions, 70 culled animals), and in the herd of Whiteheaded Ukrainian (“Podilskiy Gospodar” Ltd., 346 culled and 22 alive animals) one investigated longevity and reproductive ability of two cattle autochthonous breeds of Ukraine. Analysis of Whiteheaded Ukrainian cows’ culling data on 2013 (22 animals) testifies the designing of work on production increasing in herd, rather not high (20,5%) repair intensity (owing to lasting use of full-aged cows) and main herd animals’ successful health state. Besides it, main herd animals’ database analysis testifies long-living cows availability with their satisfactory reproductive ability at the age of 10–15 years old. To have higher conclusions’ reliability on population data one did longevity and reproductive ability data analysis of culled 346 Whiteheaded Ukrainian cows, which were born during 1978–1995. Analysis of productive longevity of investigated cows testified, that in the herd cows with the productive longevity in 1–5 lactations dominated (74,6%). Only 25 cows (7,2%) had 1 calving. The largest number of cows (70 animals) in the herd had 4 calvings. Because of twins (5,2% of the whole sample), the largest number of calves in a litter of one animal was 14 heads with equal distribution on sex. One calf for the whole lifetime had only 19 (5,5%) animals, while by 5–14 calves for the life were obtained from almost 40% of sample (138 heads). Unfortunately, in the herd there were cases of still-birth or abortions in litter of some animals. Such sad occasions comprise almost 15% of analysed sample. Investigation of genealogical affiliation of such cases revealed a bit higher number of abortions (2 out of 15 sample cases) and still-births (5 out of 45 in the sample) in the litter of bull Chas 59. But, one should take into account more intensive use of this bull at the cows of the herd. However, one should admit, that the majority (75%) of used in the herd bulls had no still-birth or abortion with different matches. Particularly, Okun 217 bull, though was used rather widely in the herd, had no still-births or abortions in the litter of its matches. Database analysis of culled cows of SE EF «Polyvanivka» testified, that out of 105 cows, 19 (18,1%) for lifetime had 10 and more (to 13) calves, 60 (57%) – 5–9 calves. Abortions and stillbirths were found only in young animals’ litter. Particularly, 10 heifers (9,5%) had stillbirths, and cows of the second calvings – 2 abortions. Amongst the animals of the third and elder calvings there were found no abortions and stillbirths. Amongst included into investigation cows of Grey Ukrainian breed of breeding plant «Markeevo» more, than half (64,3%) had 5 and more calvings. Cows with productive longevity 7–14 calvings makes up 52,9% of all investigated cows of the plant. All herd cows are characterized with easy (not lower 5,0 on beef cattle estimation scale) calvings. Comparative analysis of longevity of investigated authohtonous and Holstein or created at its base commercial breeds at the base of unpublished own research on breeding plant “Bortnychi” data and literature data reveals noticeably longer productive longevity of Whiteheaded Ukrainian and Grey Ukrainian cattle. Our investigations in the herds of Grey Ukrainian of breeding plant «Markeevo» showed, that average number of lifetime calvings was 6,45, of breeding plant «Polyvanivka» – 6,50, in the herd of Whiteheaded Ukrainian of «Podilskiy Gospodar» Ltd. – 4,49, that significantly exceeds the longevity of modern commercial breeds.

Abstract:
Introduction. In resolving the problem of biodiversity conservation of genetic resources of animals, the in-depth characterization of the gene pool of rocks in the global program, which was initiated by the Commission on Animal Genetic Resources of FAO in 1993, attaches great importance. In accordance with this program, FAO recommends analyzing the diversity of pets in collaboration with the International Society of Genetics (ISAG).In the prominent place in the characterization of genetic resources of animals are genetic markers, which include polymorphisms of erythrocytic antigens (blood groups). Immunogenetic analysis of breeds under factors that until now have not been the objects of breeding and were not subject to directed action of a person, gives an objective idea about the peculiarities of rocks in terms of their history, genealogical connections between them, their similarities and differentiations, and also about the gene pool of cattle as a separate species. At the immunogenetic monitoring in the system of conservation of biodiversity of the animal world of the planet in the context of agricultural production is the solution to a number of problems, both at the population and individual level. At the population level, the immunogenic analysis is mainly aimed at assessing the genetic situation in gene pool herds, making it possible to make an objective notion about genetic changes in the gene pool of aboriginal and disappearing small-numbered rocks under the influence of natural and artificial selection. The preliminary results of the analysis of the genetic situation in the flock of the White-headed Ukrainian breed clearly indicate that at the present stage of evolution it has a certain originality and specificity for polymorphic loci of immunogenic markers and a sufficiently high level of genetic diversity of animals. On the one hand, the high frequency of the specific BGT2G'B'', BGI1OTYG'Q', YY' alleles EAB blood groups and their manifestation for several generations is clearly observed in the breed, which gives grounds for linking them with high adaptive value. Therefore, maintaining the focus of natural selection with the appropriate artificial way of selecting the parent pairs that bear the bearers of these specific markers is important enough. Purpose of work. Determination of predicted genotypes according to the EAB system of blood groups in embryos of the cattle Whiteheaded Ukrainian breed, laid for long-term storage at the Bank of animal genetic resources of IABG nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS. Materials and methods of research. For the analysis, blood samples were taken from 5 dairy cows of the Whiteheaded Ukrainian breed of LLC "Podilskyi hospodar" at Khmelnitska oblast, from which embryos were obtained using 3 bulls (721 Sygnal’s, 235 Orel’s and 561 Neapol’s) for fertilization of the sperm stored in the Bank of animal genetic resources of IABG nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS and their genotypes were determined according to the EAB system of blood groups. Determination of the genotype of half of the dairy cows by the EAB system of blood groups was conducted at the Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS in accordance with the Instruction on the immunogenetic studies of pedigree animals. To evaluate the inheritance of blood groups in embryos, the materials of previous studies on immunogenetic testing of Whiteheaded Ukrainian breed pedigrees by alleles of the EAB system of blood groups were also taken into account. The prognosis of possible embryonic genotypes in the EAB system by blood groups was determined based on the analysis of the inheritance of the alleles of parents and donor cows with their binding to the genotypes of their parents. Research results. An immunogenetic analysis of 5 cows donor Whiteheaded Ukrainian breed for erythrocytic antigens of the EAB blood group was carried out and their genotypes were established to confirm the authenticity of their origin. Naturally, the allelofund on the EAB system of blood groups of donor cows is full of alleles of their fathers – 263 Som, 629 Plus, 235 Orel and 447 Zond. A genealogical analysis of 30 embryos of the Whiteheaded Ukrainian breed, laid for long-term storage at the bank of animal genetic resources of the IABG nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS, and structured individual pedigrees for the prediction of the inheritance of their possible genotypes by the EAB system of blood groups according to the given scheme. Directional targeting can provide embryos with a possible combination of specific markers of donor mothers and fathers. For this purpose, the schemes of directed heirs with the use of the 721 Sygnal’s genotype EAB BGI1OT2G'B''G/BG'KYO, 235 Orel’s – EAB G'G'/BGT2G'P'B''G'' and 561 Neapol’s – EAB BGT2G'P'B''G'/YA'Y'. Two daughters of 263 Som’s 9333 Nadra and 9318 Vyshka cows – carriers of identical genotypes, inherited the genus allele EAВYQ'. Accordingly, when selection to them the bull’s 721 Sygnal is expected to receive heterozygous descendants. They can inherit the marker genotype EABI1Q'/BGI1OT2G'B''G'' with a probability of 25%. In the genotype of the 3676 Naryadna cow, missing marker alleles are characteristic of the breed. Therefore, when picking up the 721 Sygnal pedigree, it is desirable to inherit the descendants of the genotypes EAB YA'Y'/BGI1OTG'B''G' and EAB G'G'/BGI1OTG'B''G''. For picking up a cow 3843 Norka of the 721 Orel sire is expected to obtain all possible heterozygous descendants. For this combination, the inheritance of the marker allele EAB BGT2G'P'B''G' is predicted. In the selection of the cow 0064 Baronesa of the 561 Neapol’s, the homozygous descendants with genotype EABBGT2G'P'B''G'/BGT2G'P'B''G' are expected to be obtained. From such a combination of parent pairs descendants will inherit all possible variants of genotypes with specific markers for the breed. As a result of the targeted selection of parent pairs in the embryos of the Whiteheaded Ukrainian breed, inheritance in the genotypes of descendants of alleles is expected: BGT2G'P'B''G'', BGI1OTG'B''G'', BG'KYO, YQ', G'G'', YA'Y' and b on the EAB system of blood groups. They can be homozygous and heterozygous and can inherit markers for allele breeds in their genotypes. Conclusions. An immunogenetic analysis of cow donor animals of the Whiteheaded Ukrainian breed, from which embryos were obtained and laid down for long-term storage at the Bank of animal genetic resources of the Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS, indicates that they are carriers of EAB – specific alleles specific for the given breed of blood grops, and at the same time there is a rather high level of genetic diversity of animals. In determining the predicted genotypes on the EAB system, blood groups in the embryos of the cattle Whiteheaded Ukrainian breed based on the analysis of the possible inheritance of alleles from parents and donor cows, predicts a rather high genetic variability inheritance of embryos specific for breed genotypes, which is sufficiently important to maintain genetic diversity in breed by using an artificial selection of parent pairs.

Abstract:
In Ukraine, especially in certain natural and climatic zones, an important role in the production of food and social life of the population is played by the Carpathian Brown breed of cattle that extremely efficiently uses the natural pastures of the Carpathians. Animals of this breed have unique biological characteristics, resistant to diseases, have high resistance, the ability to withstand stress, have a strong constitution, a high duration of productive use, reproductive and adaptive ability, the content of protein in milk, available for chewing the kappa-casein fraction, good parameters for realization of genetic potential. The Carpathian Brown cattle with its high adaptability to the environment deserve the preservation and sustainable use, and for this purpose it is necessary to create a reliable genetic foundation. Moreover, it is important to know the genetic features of animals that are intended to produce specific products and still remain a significant functional element of the production system in the region. The gene kappa-casein is one of the few known genes, is uniquely associated with the signs of protein digestibility and technological properties of milk. Allele In the kappa-casein gene is associated with a higher protein content in milk, a higher yield of cheese, as well as better coagulation properties of milk. The purpose of this work was to establish the genotypes and to determine the genetic structure of the population of the Carpathian Brown breeders for the gene of kappa-casein (CSN3) with the determination of the possibility of their further use. The material for research was the semen of the bulls of Carpathian Brown breed (n = 21 heads), which originate from the leading tribal herds of the Zakarpattia oblast and evaluated by origin, by their own productivity at the Zakarpattia Regional State Tribal Station (now Private Joint-stock company "Zakarpatske plempidpryyemstvo"). In accordance with FAO recommendations for assessing the risk status of animal genetic resources and calculations carried out, a brown Carpathian breed of cattle is in the critical state of risk of disappearance. This status depends on the effective size of the population, the number of females and males, trends in the dynamics of their changes and the way breeder breeding work. In 2005 in 16 controllable herds of Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts there were 2866 heads of cattle of Carpathian Brown breed, including 1083 cows. And since 2014 according to the State Register of subjects of breeding business in livestock breeding, no breeding farm has left in Ukraine for breeding this kind of breed and there is no program of breeding the pedigrees. The breeding stock of Carpathian Brown breed is breeding only in private peasant farms. According to FAO recommendations, a part of the genetic material from the breeders of the brown Carpathian breed that belongs to Private Joint-stock company "Zakarpatske plempidpryyemstvo" was deposited in the Bank of Animals of Genetic Resources of Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS. According to the data provided in the section "Reserve gene pool" of the Catalog of bulls of dairy and dairy-meat breeds, allowed to reproduce the mother stock in 2017, information is provided on 28 bulls of Carpathian Brown breed with available semen. Therefore, taking into account the results of the monitoring and analysis carried out, it should be noted that the possibility of restoration of the stock breed stock of Carpathian Brown breed has not been lost. Carpathian Brown breed as a local breed requires systematic population-genetic monitoring. The genetic material of the breeders of Carpathian Brown breed according to the genealogical structure is diverse and belongs to 12 lines. The most numerous representatives of the fruit of the lines of the Sokola 553 i Malchyka 3, Kaplera 43, Stretcha 143612, Fitsko 33, Pishty 10, Eleyma 110327, Raneta 584, Rupora 6507, Siroho 1759, Shoni 6 i Yu. Yuvelira 273, which at one time were the most widespread in the breed. Representatives of these lines for the CSN3 gene revealed polymorphism of all possible variants of the genotypes AA, AB and BB. According to the results of molecular genetic analysis, determination of frequency of distribution of genotypes and alleles of bulls of Carpathian Brown breed according to the gene of kapa-casein CSN3 has been determined. The frequency of the desired genotype BB among the examined animals was 0.143, and the frequency of carriers of the genotype AA was 0.381. Frequency of carriers of the heterozygous genotype AB was 0.476. The carrier frequency of the allele A in the animals tested is 0.619, which is twice as high as the allele B frequency of 0.381. By Hardy-Weinberg law, we did not determine the probable difference between the actual and expected distribution of genotype frequencies for the CSN3 gene. Conclusions on the basis of the analysis of the established genotypes and the determined frequency of allelic variants for the kappa-casein (CSN3) gene in the explored bogs of Carpathian Brown breed Private Joint-stock company "Zakarpatske plempidpryyemstvo" it was revealed that the available genetic resources of the pedigrees are quite varied according to the genealogical and genetic structure.

Abstract:
This essay traces the emergence and development of the consensus against surrogacy arrangements, mostly in the Sunni world, on the basis of a number of institutional fatwas, recommendations, and decisions. Despite this consensus against surrogacy, jurists discuss in detail its potential effects if it is performed. This juristic attitude reflects an understanding of sharīʿah as a legal system that not only institutes rules for cases that match its moral vision but also regulates the consequences of cases that do not match that vision. In the absence of clear and binding legislation on surrogacy in most Muslim-majority countries, this body of religious and ethical deliberations represents the main resource for moral decision-making on surrogacy and its impact on the genealogical connections within the nuclear family.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to study the population structure of the Cattle Conservation Nucleos Curraleiro Pé Duro of the Instituto Nacional do Semiárido (NCP_INSA) based on pedigree data. Genealogical information from 338 animals registered in the period from 1991 to 2019 was used. The number of founding animals (Nf), the effective number of founders (fe), effective number of ancestors (fa), inbreeding coefficient (F), and average relatedness coefficient (AR), in addition to Fis, Fit and Fst were estimated. It was possible to identify ancestors up to the third generation, with an increase in information over the generations. Of the total pedigree information evaluated, 90.53% had the identification of the father and mother. The effective size of the population was smaller than those proposed by FAO, suggesting the need to redefine the herd management and genetic management plan strategies, promoting gene flow and breed expansion.

Abstract:
The aim was to determine the amount of state financial support for the full gene pool preservation of local and endangered breeds of farm animals in Ukraine for 2016-2020. Given the great strategic and economic importance of the problem of gene pool preservation and rational use to enhance food security, the level of state financial support for preservation of the gene pool of local and endangered breeds of farm animals was determined for using two methods of conservation: in situ (live animals) and ex situ (cryoconservation of their genetic materials). The level of budget support to preserve gene pool objects involves calculating the minimum (normative) amount of genetic resources (livestock females, bull semen, embryos) and rational choice of methodical approach to determining the level of budget support for the preservation of each type of genetic resources. The level of budget support for in situ maintenance of gene pool objects was determined based on level of budget subsidy per head and livestock number of each species, recommended to preserve (normative). The basis of the level of budget subsidies was determined as compensation amount of normative costs for feed produced at cost. Normative costs of feed were determined on the basis of scientifically grounded rations for species and breeds of animals taking into account their productivity. The full in situ preservation of dairy and dual-purpose breeds of cattle requires the holding herds of each breed which include animals of all main bloodlines, where at least 3 live bulls and 60 cows should be kept per bloodline. In gene pool subjects of beef breeds at least 3 bulls and 20 cows should be kept per bloodline. Breeding cattle of all breeds should be performed by linear purebred breeding and randomized fixing of bulls in lines. Under these conditions, it is possible to preserve purebred livestock number for 5-6 generations, or 20 years. To preserve in situ the gene pool of local and endangered breeds of pigs, sheep and poultry it is necessary to provide herd size not less than 25 boars and 100 sows, 20 rams and 200 ewes, 10 stallions and 50 mares, 50 geese and 200 fowl, 50 drakes and 250 ducks, 50 cocks and 250 hens. The constancy of gene pool of local and endangered breeds is fully possible to provide only by ex situ method, providing measures to preserve genetic fund of breeds, types, lines in an artificial environment (cryoconservation of gametes, somatic cells, zygotes, tissues). Ex situ preservation of the gene pool of local and endangered breeds is expedient as a "virtual" cryo-herds. For their expansion annually 1-3 thousand doses of bull semen of dairy, dual-purpose and beef breeds per each farm or genealogical line (depending on the number of bulls in a line) must be collected and stored in cryo-depositories in over 3 thousand doses of bull semen for each line. Annual accumulation and storage of semen of rams should be accordingly 1.2 and 2.4 thousand doses, boars – 2 thousand doses and stallions – 300 doses in both cases. The annual need for purchasing sires’ semen of farm animals is 35.7 thousand doses. For implementation of programs for preserving the gene pool of local breeds it is necessary to pass 10% of annual purchased semen to the Bank of Animal Genetic Resources of Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS. The normative costs for an annual storage of sires’ semen in 2015 have been determined, which amount is UAH 4.54 and UAH 2.98 according to normative capacity of cryo-depositories (5 thousand doses and 20 thousand doses). The project of preserving populations of local and endangered breeds of cattle as "cryo-herds" (cryopreserved bovine embryos) during 2016-2020 requires the state support for obtaining 250 bovine embryos, prepared for long-term storage, of each breed and storing them in Bank of Animal Genetic Resources of Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V.Zubets of NAAS. To provide the full preservation of the gene pool of local and endangered breeds of farm animals in Ukraine using two methods of conservation: in situ (live animals) and ex situ (“virtual cryo-herds”) during the next five years it is necessary to finance UAH 75,137.5 thousand from the State Budget. The implementation of the developed economic mechanism ensures the gene pool preservation of domestic autochthonous and local breeds of farm animals and their further use for breeding animals of specialized and dual-purpose breeds, the execution of commitments laid down by international agreements of Ukraine for the biodiversity preservation. These research results have been used in the development of the Programme of preservation of local and endangered breeds of farm animals in Ukraine for 2016-2020.

Abstract:
Assessment of swine leukocyte antigen polymorphism (SLA–3) in different breeds pigs of Ukraine was carried out using the method of allele-specific PCR. Features of the allelic fund structure in pig breeds such as Large white, Mirgorod, Ukrainian steppe white, Ukrainian steppe speckled and Vietnamese potbellied pig were studied on four polymorphic sites: SLA–3–0602, SLA–3–0401, SLA–30101 and SLA–3–03cs01. In the study population of Mirgorod pigs, the absence of SLA–3–03cs01 and SLA–3–0602 alleles was detected. The experimental animals were polymorphic by the SLA–3–0101 and SLA–3–0401 marker systems with the above alleles frequency of 18.2 and 81.8%, respectively. By the polymorphic site SLA–3–0401 pigs of Large white, Ukrainian steppe white and Vietnamese potbellied breeds were monomorphic, whereas the representatives of the aboriginal Ukrainian steppe speckled breed the frequency of this allele did not exceed 40%. The genetic structure of Vietnamese potbellied pigs significantly differed from the characteristics obtained for the local Ukrainian breeds by four SLA sites. The most statistically significant differences are recorded for allele frequencies SLA–3–0602 and SLA–3–0101. The SLA–3–0602 allele was absent in Vietnamese potbellied breed with its 100% presence in Large white pigs. In contrast, the SLA–3–0101 allele was found in all Vietnamese pigs and was absent in a sample of the Large white pigs (p < 0.05). The distribution pattern of alleles in all of the samples selected for the study of polymorphisms in the pig locus of leukocyte antigen (SLA–3) showed a high genetic homogeneity of the Large white animals sample. The SLA–3–0101 and SLA–3–03cs01 alleles carriers were not detected, and by SLA–3–0602 and SLA–3–0401, 100% of the specimens had the respective alleles in their genotype. High values of the genetic homogeneity in these animals are confirmed by calculation of the total heterozygosity index, which was 0.136. The maximum genetic and, accordingly, genealogical relationship (according to the summary zootechnical account) were recorded in Vietnamese potbellied pigs for which the index of intragroup similarity was 0.960, and the calculated heterozygosity was the least among the breeds under study – 0.024. It is expedient to consider the results of the population-genetic characteristics analysis of the autochthonous pig breeds – the Ukrainian steppe speckled and Mirgorod when further planning selection and breeding work with them. The minimum value of intragroup similarity was found in the group of the Ukrainian steppe speckled swine – 0.156, as compared to the values of this index in pigs of other breeds under study (p < 0.05), and the theoretically calculated heterozygosity for these animals sample was 0.823. The integral assessment of breeds genetic differentiation by SLA–3 polymorphisms was obtained by performing a cluster analysis based on the calculated values of genetic distances between the breeds. The most genetically distant ones were the Mirgorod and Ukrainian steppe speckled breeds, and the value of the genetic distance between them was 0.776. In general, Ukrainian steppe speckled was characterized by the most unique distribution of SLA–3 alleles compared to other breeds under study, which has influenced the configuration of the obtained dendrogram by the UPGMA method. By means of molecular genetic, population and cluster analysis, the singularity and specificity of the Ukrainian steppe white and speckled pigs are shown. The genetic characteristics of the Mirgorod breed obtained by us can be useful in the process of recreating these animals using biotechnological methods, since the only gene pool herd of these pigs was eliminated due to the African plague infection. The generative material from the Mirgorod breed pigs has only been preserved in the Bank of Genetic Resources of the M.V.Zubets Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics, NAAS. Determining genetic characteristics of the SLA allelic fund breed specificity of the local pig breeds reveals the prospects for using this information as an additional tool for their genetic certification, in special programs for conservation and restoration of their gene pool.

Abstract:
The steppe morel, Morchella steppicola, is one of the more iconic species of true morels (Morchellaceae, Pezizales) based on its: 1) distinctive cerebriform pileus with densely packed labyrinthine irregular ridges, 2) genealogically exclusive position as the earliest diverging species lineage within the Esculenta clade, and 3) geographic distribution within temperate grassland steppes in central Eurasia. Given the uniqueness of this species, and conservation efforts in some Eurasian countries to protect it, we sought to study the holotype in the Mycological Herbarium of the M. G. Kholodny Institute of Botany (KW), Kyiv, Ukraine. However, because the type specimen appears to have been lost, but a picture was provided with the description, we have designated it the lectotype and epitypified this important species based on a collection made in 2014 from Lugansk province, Ukraine. Herein, we provide a detailed morphological description, provide a preliminary assessment of intraspecific diversity via phylogenetic analysis of ITS rDNA sequences from 13 M. steppicola collections spanning six Eurasian countries, and map its geographic distribution across the terrestrial ecoregions of central Eurasia.

Abstract:
The article shows the view of the famous scientist V. P. Burkat on issues of breed-forming process in livestock, evaluation of sires and use of biotechnological methods for cattle breeding, necessity to remember the lessons of classical breeding and to refer to their teachers respectfully as well training of young scientists – future national science. Their views on V. P. Burkat as a teacher who prepared the pleiad of the renowned scientists were expressed by his disciples.V. P. Burkat advocated improving the zoned cattle breeds through the use of the gene pool of highly productive breeds well adapted to industrial production technology of dairy cattle product, knowing that such move would have not only supporters but also opponents. Agreeing with the need to preserve the gene pool of local cattle breeds, he stressed their entering in the Red Book and breeding in the protected farms with long-term preservation of gametes and embryos in special storage. The scientist was aware that the use of foreign breeds to improve the array of domestic livestock can lead to some decrease of milk fat content and reduction of the period of economic use of cows and he recommended intensive culling of the cows which did not meet the required parameters and providing appropriate conditions of animal feeding for newly created populations. His radical approach in creating arrays of domestic productive and adapted to current technological conditions cattle in a short time was in a choice of a founder of lines and families, creation of new genealogical groups, including synthetic line, software development of large-scale breeding, definition of breeding farms role, implementation of embryo genetic methods, etc. Stressing the tough market conditions of dairy industry in relation to performance of animals, the scientist urged of the need to create state control assistant service and its responsibilities would be to assess of the animals of active population by type of constitution and animal performance accounting. According to V. P. Burkat, development and improvement of new dairy breeds with high genetic potential for milk yield would reduce the number of dairy cows and increase the abundance of beef cattle, which would contribute to development of beef cattle breeding and solve the problem of providing population with high-quality beef. The scientist believed that it was necessary creating a new livestock science – biotechnological selection, which would be a tool of livestock breeding, but not replace classical animal breeding. Caring about the future of science and Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics, V. P. Burkat initiated a conference of young scientists, where scientific beginners could defend their vision and theory.Giving way to science for many of his disciples, Valeriy P. often mentioned scientists who gave a start to him in scientific life: M. F. Ivanov, M. A. Kravchenko, F. F. Eisner and many others.Valeriy P. generously passed the gained knowledge and experience to his disciples, who were his pride. Our teacher, Valeriy P. Burkat was a very and wise prudent man; he did not give promises which performance was impossible, and negative remarks against his employees perceived as his own one. He was an intelligent, thoughtful, serious, noble, cultural and erudite man, professional who solved the issues objectively and fundamentally. If Valeriy P. promised to do something or help, everyone knew it would be fulfilled necessarily. When even he did not agree with something or someone, he always gave the opportunity to express opinion, bring arguments, the evidence of ideas and when beliefs were good he agreed with them. His word was never at odds with the deed. As a creative person, he always supported the original ideas, progressive solutions and innovative approaches. He was fond of aphorisms, poetry, prose, music and often invited to listen to some composition. He liked reading excerpts of the most beloved works. He was a great patriot of Ukraine, who actively promoted the idea of national development. As a publicist he produced several books, where collected well-known sayings about Ukraine, poems, regulatory documents concerning our country, including "Love your Ukraine ...". Communication with him was curious and easy, primarily as with a wise man, and only then as with the head of the institution. He taught us to cherish a Ukrainian family by example of love for his family, wife and children, where should rule harmony and order, where a father is a head with all responsibility and deserves respect. Overall, he loved life in all its manifestations using it completely and therefore even now, several years after his death, very difficult to say the words: "knew, worked, was ...". He is a part in each of us, his disciples and so we always express our gratitude for the soul warmth and kindness, wise counsel in the science, love to neighbour and the Ukrainian land, and most importantly we try to be worthy disciples of Valeriy P. Burkat.

Abstract:
This work has emerged from a project called “Teachers training: interface between literature and subjectivity”, which focuses on the learning processes which occurs during IFB’s (Brasília’s Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology) initial teachers training on Language. The project presents a brief genealogy of Brazil’s education from the perspective of our own literary system, which still pictures a punitive school when includes mandatory readings, reaffirming the authoritarian teacher’s role through time, and class readings with the only purpose of decoding texts. It adopts González Rey’s Qualitative Epistemology and Hans Robert Jauss’s Reception Aesthetics as theoretical assumptions. However, these subjects become secondary as the article analyses the social, political and educational context in Brazil, in the midst of legislative propositions oriented towards a neutral, objective and crippled education. In such a scenario, one must ask: is it possible to discuss literature and its educational aspect as a methodology based on neutrality and not related to social and individual experiences?

Abstract:

Abstract:
Written in 1802, Beethoven’s “Tempest” piano sonata is the iconic work of the “wirklich ganz neue Manier” the composer announced right after his traumatic seclusion in Heiligenstadt. Suffused with asymmetries and contradictions, the sonata’s first movement has long attracted the attention of scholars concerned with the epistemic soundness of sonata form theories. Most conspicuously, the absence in the recapitulation of what seems to be on first hearing the main theme generates a formal paradox that challenges the theoretical models devised to analyze sonata forms. This article reinterprets that paradox through the prism of Friedrich Schlegel’s theory of form, formulated in his critique of modern art and literature. In doing so, it recasts Beethoven’s “Tempest” sonata and Schlegel’s theory in the light of what I call the paradox of mediated immediacy. It further suggests a genealogical homology between the novel and sonata form to advance a historicized model of musical form that contemplates the material conditions accompanying the consolidation of print culture around 1800. Situated in this context, the “Tempest” sonata serves as a case study for exploring how Beethoven’s reinvention of the piano sonata reconfigured the interface between form and medium, deploying self-referential strategies that both rendered apparent and resignified the mediations entailed by the compositional practices instituted with the classical style. As a result, Beethoven’s piano sonatas came to operate as technologies of the self that became integral to the fashioning of romantic subjectivities. My reading emphasizes the aural experience induced by the form’s asymmetries, and contends that the absence delivered at its structural crux complicates sonata form practices to afford an experience of immediacy that captures in the medium of piano music the paradoxical condition Schlegel reckoned immanent to the modern self.

Abstract:

Abstract:
How did the descendants of the Prophet, known as the ‘Alids, become the“one indisputable nobility in Islam” (p. 1)? What did they do to attain and extendtheir influence? Is ‘Alid-ness only for men? And, how did their status influencethe Jews? Teresa Bernheimer answers these questions, and more, inthis first detailed study on their sociopolitical history in early Islam. This study is distinguished by a cross-sectarian and holistic approach, inthat the author examines the ‘Alids independent of whether they were Sunnior Shi’i, rich or poor, or rebellious or quietist. While the study focuses on ‘Alidsfrom the Abbasid to the Saljuq eras, as well as those in the eastern part of theIslamic empire, she presents her conclusions in the light of this social phenomenonthroughout the Islamic world, both past and present. In doing so, Bernheimerhighlights how members of this group saw themselves and were seenby others as a single body that transcended sectarian or cultural boundaries. After introducing the main question – how the ‘Alids attained and extendedtheir influence – the author explores it from four angles, each in a separatechapter. She begins with chapter 2, “Genealogy, Money, and the Drawingof Boundaries.” Here, she argues that ‘Alid genealogies do not merely continuethe pre-Islamic Arab genealogical tradition. Instead, while those genealogieslooked to the past, ‘Alid genealogies focused on the present – namely, the need to determine inclusion in and exclusion from the group because of“tangible and intangible” benefits, such as gifts (p. 31), as recorded in an illustrativeaccount of a wealthy but stranded ‘Alid hajji. In that regard, she sees‘Alid genealogies as being more akin to the dīwān instituted by Umar ibn al-Khattab (which Tabari felt had origins in Byzantine custom) in that both practicesassigned social rank along with financial benefits based on tribe.Chapter 2 also addresses the topic of false claimants. Bernheimer does notattempt to sift out false ‘Alids on the grounds that “[w]hat matters is that […]the sayyids themselves as well as the rest of society believed that they were ...

Abstract:

Abstract:
PresentationThis article is the first English translation of French scholar Patrick Wotling’s extensive research on Nietzsche. In order to understand Nietzsche’s work, Patrick Wotling follows closely Nietzsche’s well-known injunction to his readers: “learn to read me well!” Hence, he seeks to do a close reading of Nietzsche’s texts, which often resemble a seemingly random juxtaposition of ideas, looking for signs that allow the reader to follow Nietzsche’s thought and weave together a correct interpretation. In so doing it is imperative to reject any reading based on an interpretive framework that is not found in the text itself. This approach is tied to the specificity of Nietzsche’s work in that unlike philosophers before him, he does not hold the pursuit of truth to be the genuine goal of philosophy, and therefore does not write traditional systematic treatises. It is thus necessary to use this close reading approach to reveal the new patterns of thought that Nietzsche uses in place of traditional logical frameworks. Using this method, P. Wotling contends that Nietzsche’s thinking is organized along two tightly bound lines: on the one hand there is a genealogical inquiry, which consists of identifying and evaluating the value of values, and on the other hand there is a concern for the cultivation, or breeding (Züchtung) of human life, which aims at putting in place certain values with the goal of elevating humanity and creating human flourishing. The second goal implies the first, meaning that before knowing what values should be instituted, it is necessary to establish the hierarchy of values, in order to identify which ones are the most useful for the cultivation and enrichment of humanity. AbstractWhat are Nietzsche’s reasons for criticizing truth? How far does such criticism extend, and how does Nietzsche understand the consequences of his position as regards the philosophical praxis? The discovery of a radical opposition between truth and thought shows that being irrefutable cannot be assimilated to being true, and, at the same time, that truth is interpretation. On closer scrutiny, it appears to be not an essence, but a value, that is to say a type of error that has become essential for the continuation of our life, linked to a long process of physical-psychological absorption, and now productive of a deceptive feeling of necessity. As a consequence, philosophy cannot be equated with the pursuit of truth any longer: first, because, as a free spirit, the genuine philosopher is to be thought of as a lover of riddles, shaped on Epicurus’ pattern rather than on Plato’s; and more importantly, because the philosopher’s real aim is to investigate the value of all particular values (including “truth”) for the development of human life, and, in accordance, to create and impose new “truths.”

Abstract:
Tsygankov, Alexander S. "History of Philosophy. 2018, Vol. 23, No. 2 TABLE OF CONTENTS Theory and Methodology of History of Philosophy Rodion V. Savinov. Philosophy of Antiquity in Scholasticism This article examines the forms of understanding ancient philosophy in medieval and post-medieval scholasticism. Using the comparative method the author identifies the main approaches to the philosophical heritage of Antiquity, and to the problem of reviving the doctrines of the past. The Patristics (Epiphanius of Cyprus, Filastrius of Brixia, Lactantius, Augustine) saw the ancient cosmological doctrines as heresies. The early Middle Ages (e.g., Isidore of Seville) assimilated the content of these heresiographic treatises, which became the main source of information about ancient philosophy. Scholasticism of the 13th–14th cent. remained cautious to ancient philosophy and distinguished, on the one hand, the doctrinal content discussed in the framework of the exegetic problems at universities (Albert the Great, Thomas Aquinas, etc.), and, on the other hand, information on ancient philosophers integrated into chronological models of medieval chronicles (Peter Comestor, Vincent de Beauvais, Walter Burleigh). Finally, the post-medieval scholasticism (Pedro Fonseca, Conimbricenses, Th. Stanley, and others) raised the questions of the «history of ideas», thereby laying the foundation of the history of philosophy in its modern sense. Keywords: history of philosophy, Patristic, Scholasticism, reflection, critic DOI: 10.21146/2074-5869-2018-23-2-5-17 World Philosophy: the Past and the Present Mariya A. Solopova. The Chronology of Democritus and the Fall of Troy The article considers the chronology of Democritus of Abdera. In the times of Classical Antiquity, three different birth dates for Democritus were known: c. 495 BC (according to Diodorus of Sicily), c. 470 BC (according to Thrasyllus), and c. 460 BC (according to Apollodorus of Athens). These dates must be coordinated with the most valuable doxographic evidence, according to which Democritus 1) "was a young man during Anaxagoras’s old age" and that 2) the Lesser World-System (Diakosmos) was compiled 730 years after the Fall of Troy. The article considers the argument in favor of the most authoritative datings belonging to Apollodorus and Thrasyllus, and draws special attention to the meaning of the dating of Democritus’ work by himself from the year of the Fall of Troy. The question arises, what prompted Democritus to talk about the date of the Fall of Troy and how he could calculate it. The article expresses the opinion that Democritus indicated the date of the Fall of Troy not with the aim of proposing its own date, different from others, but in order to date the Lesser World-System in the spirit of intellectual achievements of his time, in which, perhaps, the history of the development of mankind from the primitive state to the emergence of civilization was discussed. The article discusses how to explain the number 730 and argues that it can be the result of combinations of numbers 20 (the number of generations that lived from the Fall of Troy to Democritus), 35 – one of the constants used for calculations of generations in genealogical research, and 30. The last figure perhaps indicates the age of Democritus himself, when he wrote the Lesser Diakosmos: 30 years old. Keywords: Ancient Greek philosophy, Democritus, Anaxagoras, Greek chronography, doxographers, Apollodorus, Thrasyllus, capture of Troy, ancient genealogies, the length of a generation DOI: 10.21146/2074-5869-2018-23-2-18-31 Bembya L. Mitruyev. “Yogācārabhumi-Śāstra” as a Historical and Philosophical Source The article deals with “Yogācārabhūmi-Śāstra” – a treatise on the Buddhist Yogācāra school. Concerning the authorship of this text, the Indian and Chinese traditions diverge: in the first, the treatise is attributed to Asanga, and in the second tradition to Maitreya. Most of the modern scholars consider it to be a compilation of many texts, and not the work of one author. Being an important monument for both the Yogacara tradition and Mahayana Buddhism in general, Yogācārabhūmi-Śāstra is an object of scientific interest for the researchers all around the world. The text of the treatise consists of five parts, which are divided into chapters. The contents of the treatise sheds light on many concepts of Yogācāra, such as ālayavijñāna, trisvabhāva, kliṣṭamanas, etc. Having briefly considered the textological problems: authorship, dating, translation, commenting and genre of the text, the author suggests the reconstruction of the content of the entire monument, made on the basis of his own translation from the Tibetan and Sanskrit. This allows him to single out from the whole variety of topics those topics, the study of which will increase knowledge about the history of the formation of the basic philosophical concepts of Yogācāra and thereby allow a deeper understanding of the historical and philosophical process in Buddhism and in other philosophical movements of India. The author analyzes the formation of the theory of knowledge in the Arab-Muslim philosophy. At the early stages of the formation of the Arab-Muslim philosophy the discussion of the question of cognition was conducted in the framework of ethical and religious disputes. Later followers of the Falsafa introduced the legacy of ancient philosophers into scientific circulation and began to discuss the problems of cognition in a philosophical way. Nāșir Khusraw, an Ismaili philosopher of the 11th century, expanded the scope of knowledge and revised the goals and objectives of the process of cognition. He put knowledge in the foundation of the world order, made it the cause and ultimate goal of the creation of the world. In his philosophy knowledge is the link between the different levels of the universe. The article analyzes the Nāșir Khusraw’s views on the role of knowledge in various fields – metaphysics, cosmogony, ethics and eschatology. Keywords: knowledge, cognition, Ismailism, Nāșir Khusraw, Neoplatonism, Arab-Muslim philosophy, kalām, falsafa DOI: 10.21146/2074-5869-2018-23-2-44-55 Vera Pozzi. Problems of Ontology and Criticism of the Kantian Formalism in Irodion Vetrinskii’s “Institutiones Metaphysicae” (Part II) This paper is a follow-up of the paper «Irodion Vetrinskii’s “Institutiones Metaphysicae” and the St. Petersburg Theological Academy» (Part I). The issue and the role of “ontology” in Vetrinskii’s textbook is analyzed in detail, as well as the author’s critique of Kantian “formalism”: in this connection, the paper provides a description of Vetrinskii’s discussion about Kantian theory of the a priori forms of sensible intuition and understanding. To sum up, Vetrinskii was well acquainted not only with Kantian works – and he was able to fully evaluate their innovative significance – but also with late Scholastic textbooks of the German area. Moreover, he relied on the latters to build up an eclectic defense of traditional Metaphysics, avoiding at the same time to refuse Kantian perspective in the sake of mere reaffirming a “traditional” perspective. Criticism of Judaism in Hegel's Early “Theological” Writings The aim of the article is to reveal the nature of criticism of Judaism by the “young” Hegel and underlying intuitions. The investigation is based on the phenomenological approach. It seeks to explicate the horizon of early Hegel's thinking. The revolutionary role of early Hegel’s ideas reactivation in the history of philosophy is revealed. The article demonstrates the fundamental importance of criticism of Judaism for the development of Hegel's thought. The sources of Hegelian thematization and problematization of Judaism – his Protestant theological background within the framework of supranaturalism and the then discussion about human rights and political emancipation of Jews – are discovered. Hegel's interpretation of the history of the Jewish people and the origin of Judaism from the destruction of trust in nature, the fundamental mood of distrust and fear of the world, leading to the development of alienation, is revealed. The falsity of the widespread thesis about early Hegel’s anti-Semitism is demonstrated. The reasons for the transition of early Hegel from “theology” to philosophy are revealed. Keywords: Hegel, Judaism, history, criticism, anti-Semitism, trust, nature, alienation, tyranny, philosophy DOI: 10.21146/2074-5869-2018-23-2-68-80 Evgeniya A. Dolgova. Philosophy at the Institute of Red Professors (1921–1938): Institutional Forms, Methods of Teaching, Students, Lecturers The article explores the history of the Institute of the Red Professors in philosophy (1921–1938). Referring to the unpublished documents in the State Archives of the Russian Federation and the Archive of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the author explores its financial and infrastructure support, information sphere, characterizes students and teachers. The article illustrates the practical experience of the functioning of philosophy within the framework of one of the extraordinary “revolutionary” projects on the renewal of the scientific and pedagogical sphere, reflects a vivid and ambiguous picture of the work of the educational institution in the 1920s and 1930s and corrects some of historiographical judgments (about the politically and socially homogeneous composition of the Institute of Red Professors, the specifics of state support of its work, privileges and the social status of the “red professors”). Horney about the Consequences of Neurotic Development and the Ways of Its Overcoming This article investigates the views of Karen Horney on psychoanalysis and neurotic development of personality in her last two books: “Our Inner Conflicts” (1945) and “Neurosis and Human Grows” (1950), and also in her two articles “On Feeling Abused” (1951) and “The Paucity of Inner Experiences” (1952), written in the last two years of her life and summarizing her views on clinical and theoretical problems in her work with neurotics. If in her first book “The Neurotic Personality of Our Time” (1937) neurosis was a result of disturbed interpersonal relations, caused by conditions of culture, then the concept of the idealized Self open the gates to the intrapsychic life. A Historical and Philosophical Reconstruction of Dignāga’s Pramāṇasamuccayavṛtti (1.13-16) The paper investigates a fragment from Dignāga’s magnum opus Pramāṇasamuccayavṛtti (“Body of tools for reliable knowledge with a commentary”, 1, 13-16) where Dignāga challenges Vasubandhu’s definition of perception in the Vādaviddhi (“Rules of the dispute”). The definition from the Vādaviddhi is being compared in the paper with Vasubandhu’s ideas of perception in Abhidharmakośabhāṣya (“Encyclopedia of Abhidharma with the commentary”), and with Dignāga’s own definition of valid perception in the first part of his Pramāṇasamuccayavṛtti as well as in his Ālambanaparīkśavṛtti (“Investigation of the Object with the commentary”). The author puts forward the hypothesis that Dignāga criticizes the definition of perception in Vādaviddhi for the reason that it does not correspond to the teachings of Vasubandhu in his Abhidharmakośabhāṣya, to which he, Dignāga, referred earlier in his magnum opus. This helps Dignāga to justify his statement that Vasubandhu himself considered Vādaviddhi as not containing the essence of his teaching (asāra). In addition, the article reconstructs the logical sequence in Dignāga’s exegesis: he criticizes the Vādaviddhi definition from the representational standpoint of Sautrāntika school, by showing that it does not fulfill the function prescribed by Indian logic to definition, that of distinguishing perception from the classes of heterogeneous and homogeneous phenomena. Having proved the impossibility of moving further according to the “realistic logic” based on recognizing the existence of an external object, Dignāga interprets the Vādaviddhi’s definition in terms of linguistic philosophy, according to which the language refers not to external objects and not to the unique and private sensory experience (svalakṣaṇa-qualia), but to the general characteristics (sāmānya-lakṣaṇa), which are mental constructs (kalpanā). Tolstoy: Reception of the Writer's Views in the Public Thought of Russia at the End of the 19th Century (Dedicated to the 190th Anniversary of the Great Russian Writer and Thinker) This article includes previously unpublished letters of Russian social thinkers such as N.N. Strakhov, E.M. Feoktistov, D.N. Tsertelev. These letters provide critical assessment of Lev N. Tolstoy’s teachings. The preface to publication includes the history of reception of Tolstoy’s moral and aesthetic philosophy by his contemporaries, as well as influence of his theory on the beliefs of Russian idealist philosopher D.N. Tsertelev. The author offers a rational reconstruction of the dialogue between two generations of thinkers representative of the 19th century – Lev N. Tolstoy and N.N. Strakhov, on the one hand, and D.N. Tsertelev, on the other. The main thesis of the paper: the “old” and the “new” generations of the 19th-century thinkers retained mutual interest and continuity in setting the problems and objectives of philosophy, despite the numerous worldview contradictions. Vorlesungen zur Ästhetik. Vorlesungsmitschrift Adolf Heimann (1828/1829). Hrsg. von A.P. Olivier und A. Gethmann-Siefert. München: Wilhelm Fink, 2017. XXXI + 254 S.) Released last year, the book “G.W.F. Hegel. Vorlesungen zur Ästhetik. Vorlesungsmitschrift Adolf Heimann (1828/1829)” in German is a publication of one of the student's manuskript of Hegel's lectures on aesthetics. Adolf Heimann was a student of Hegel in 1828/29. These notes open for us imaginary doors into the audience of the Berlin University, where Hegel read his fourth and final course on the philosophy of art. A distinctive feature of this course is a new structure of lectures in comparison with three previous courses. This three-part division was took by H.G. Hotho as the basis for the edited by him text “Lectures on Aesthetics”, included in the first collection of Hegel’s works. The content of that publication was mainly based on the lectures of 1823 and 1826. There are a number of differences between the analyzed published manuskript and the students' records of 1820/21, 1823 and 1826, as well as between the manuskript and the editorial version of H.G. Hotho. These features show that Hegel throughout all four series of Berlin lectures on the philosophy of art actively developed and revised the structure and content of aesthetics. But unfortunately this evidence of the permanent development was not taken into account by the first editor of Hegel's lectures on aesthetics. Keywords: G.W.F. Hegel, H.G. Coreth Readers are invited to review the monograph of the modern German researcher Oksana Nazarova “The problem of the renaissance and new foundation of metaphysics through the example of Christian philosophical tradition. Russian religious philosophy (Simon L. Frank) and German neosholastics (Emerich Coreth)”, which was published in 2017 in Munich. In the paper, the author offers a comparative analysis of the projects of a new, “post-dogmatic” metaphysics, which were developed in the philosophy of Frank and Coreth. This study addresses the problems of the cognitive-theoretical and ontological foundation of the renaissance of metaphysics, the methodological tools of the new metaphysics, as well as its anthropological component. O. Nazarova's book is based on the comparative analysis of Frank's religious philosophy and Coreth's neo-cholastic philosophy from the beginning to the end. This makes the study unique in its own way. Since earlier in the German reception of the heritage of Russian thinker, the comparison of Frank's philosophy with the Catholic theology of the 20th century was realized only fragmentarily and did not act as a fundamental one. Along with a deep and meaningful analysis of the metaphysical projects of both thinkers, this makes O. Nazarova's book relevant to anyone who is interested in the philosophical dialogue of Russia and Western Europe and is engaged in the work of Frank and Coreth. Abstract:
It is well known that several pages of manuscript boxed with the Book of Leinster (Trinity College, Dublin, MS 1339 [H. 2. 18]; hereafter LL) do not belong to the Book proper, but were left unbound by Edward Lhuyd and later placed with LL in Trinity College Library merely on the grounds of their large size. Despite the fact that these pages have only an accidental association with the rest of MS 1339, they were reproduced in the lithographic facsimile of LL, edited by Robert Atkinson, where they make up sections Q, R and S (pp. 377–96, 397–408 and 409–10 respectively). In contrast to Atkinson, Anne O'Sullivan, editor of the final volume of the diplomatic edition of LL undertaken by the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies, took a strict view of what constituted the ‘Book of Leinster’, and did not include the items which have no original connection to the main manuscript.
