Abstract:
Pohraniční historický mikroregion Hlučínsko se ve 20. století stal předmětem politických sporů mezi Československem a Německem, což výrazně ovlivnilo zejména meziválečnou generaci Hlučíňanů a mělo dopady na následující dvě generace. Příspěvek je zaměřen na proměny ve formování sociálních identit mezi třemi generacemi hlučínských autochtonů za využití perspektivy historické generace. Klíčovým prvkem se tak stává životní zkušenost a její ukotvení v historické paměti. Zdrojem dat pro studii jsou biograficko-narativní rozhovory, psané autobiografie i reflexe v dílech regionálních autorů. Proměna je zachycena pomocí zkoumání mezigeneračních vazeb mezi jednotlivými příslušníky několika hlučínských rodin, neboť v tomto prostoru lze dobře pozorovat předávání, vyjednávání a reflexi zkušeností. A právě z komunikace mezi starší věkovou generací a generacemi mladšími a pod vlivem dějinných zvratů dochází k sebeuvědomění, jež může vést k formování historické generace.

Abstract:
Stať je příspěvkem do současné sociologické diskuse o kulturním/kolektivním traumatu. Přidává příklad historické zkušenosti komunismu jako zdroje kolektivního traumatu k případům otroctví, holocaustu a nacismu, na nichž se zmíněná diskuse rozvinula, – a zároveň se systematicky zaměřuje na generační aspekt daného problému. V generační perspektivě představuje uvedené historické zkušenosti jako jedinečné případy kulturní definice traumatu a mezigeneračního přenosu traumatické zkušenosti. Zdůrazňuje přitom napětí mezi kulturní reprodukcí kontinuity dotčených kolektivit skrze vědomí kolektivně sdíleného historického osudu na jedné straně, a spory, skrze něž se kolektivní paměť udržuje, v nichž se ale současně odráží rozdílné generační zkušenosti příslušníků dané kolektivity a skrze něž se vědomí o generačních rozdílech reprodukuje, na straně druhé.

Text rozvíjí diskurzivně-pragmatický koncept Mannheimovy teorie generace, především jeho myšlenku generace jako skutečnosti, která zdůrazňuje kolektivní kognitivní pozadí neboli horizont generace. Autor rovněž rozebírá vznik tohoto kognitivního pozadí v závislosti na souběžném výskytu různých časových hledisek, jako jsou biografický, historický a generační čas. K vysvětlení diskurzivních praktik generací jsou představeny koncepty „historického času“ (Robinson), „historické sémanitky“ (Luhmann) a „kulturních okruhů“. Autor tak nabízí chápání „problému generace“, které lze využít k empirickému zkoumání tohoto tématu za pomoci interpretativních a rekonstruktivních výzkumných metod.

Abstract:
Mannheimův text představuje konceptuální model analýzy generačního fenoménu. Podle autora neutváří historickou generaci pouze blízkost dat narození. Formování historických generací (se specifickým generačním vědomím) je výsledkem průsečíku tří sociálních charakteristik: životního cyklu či věku, prostorového umístění a historického zasazení. Autor upozorňuje, že sociolog sehrává důležitou roli při analýze problému generací. V textu představuje dvě dominantní tradice formulující generační problematiku: pozitivistickou a romanticko–historickou. Opakovaně zdůrazňuje, že generace je mnohem více než pouhá skupina lidí narozených v blízkém časovém intervalu. Důkladně rozlišuje mezi generační lokací (jedinci narození ve stejné historickém a kulturním výseku), generací aktuální (jedinci zažívající stejné konkrétní historické problémy) a generačními jednotkami (skupiny v rámci aktuální generace, vnímající společnou zkušenost specifickými způsoby). Mannheim upozorňuje na význam sociálních a kulturních elementů v životě člověka při vysvětlování role generací v dějinách. Porozumění generačnímu fenoménu je klíčovým pro jakékoliv hlubší porozumění rychlosti sociální změny.

Abstract:
Autorka vychází z konstatování, že užití termínu generace při studiu seniorů a stáří znamená konfrontaci s mnohostí jeho významů a upozorňuje na jistý konceptuální „chaos“, který je s tím spjat. Sama přistupuje k řešení problému konceptualizace generace induktivně - identifikuje významy, kterých generace nabyla ve výpovědích participantů uvedeného výzkumu, i kontexty, v nichž se tyto významy „vynořily“. Autorka se zaměřuje rovněž na „zdroje“ seniory prožívané generační kontinuity a diskontinuity. V neposlední řadě se zabývá generační sounáležitostí a skupinovou distancí jako strategiemi užívanými jedinci ke zvládání důsledků stárnutí a stáří. Koexistenci těchto strategií interpretuje coby projev kolísání identifikace seniorů se „stejně postiženými lidmi své kategorie“, respektive afiliačních cyklů zapojení a odstupu.

Abstract:
Můžeme rozlišit tři odlišná paradigmata časové nesourodosti. „Nesoudobost“ označuje místní a časovou koexistenci jevů, které se vztahují k různým historickým obdobím či různým stupňům společenského vývoje. Toto paradigma předpokládá celkovou jednotu společnosti a opomíjí hybridizaci a synkretismus jako běžnou součást reálně existujících společností. Paradigma „asynchroničnosti“ se soustřeďuje na rozdíly v rychlostech a rytmech v různých společenských systémech nebo institucionálních sférách. Ty často opomíjejí nezbytnost časových rozdílů pro vnímání času a změny. Třetí model nazýváme „rozdělené paměti“, jež jsou důsledkem odlišných zkušenostních východisek při vnímání klíčových událostí. Tento model pojímá generace jako zkušenostní komunity, jež se od sebe liší podle svých zkušenostních východisek. V tomto směru jsou nejdůležitější zážitky triumfů či traumat, které znehodnocují zkušenost rodičovské generace a tvoří rámec kolektivní identity dané generace. Autentičnost takovýchto zkušeností spočívá v tělesné přítomnosti a v tělesných rituálech. Veřejné debaty v poslední době směřují k pojímání generačních rozdílů inflačním způsobem. Takové veřejné pojetí generací se nápadně odlišuje od stírání generačních rozdílů na mikrosociální úrovni.

Abstract:
This master's thesis addresses processing of flow monitoring records from a point of view of an IPFIX collector. It analysis the current solution of the modular collector, which went through considerable historical development, and focuses on revealing its strengths and weaknesses. Based on acquired knowledge, a new collector is designed. The new solution, which significantly modifies individual components for processing of flow records, focuses on high throughput and adds missing functionalities. The document also compares performance of both generations and the new collector clearly dominates.

Abstract:
In my thesis I dealt with the topic of stabilization Generation Y employees. The aim of this study was to determine which factors are the most important for the target group for stabilizing in the organization. In the target group there were people form Generation Y with university degree in economics. In the theoretical part I have described the staff stabilization process including all the variables that interfere in this process. After that I have introduced and characterized Generation Y people. At the end of the theoretical part I have introduced the studies, from which I drew information for my research. At the beginning of the research I've compiled a set of 20 stabilization factors. These factors came into qualitative research. After the qualitative research 7 factors were excluded and 13 advanced to the on-line questionnaire. The questionnaire has been completed by 737 respondents and the results showed four most important (TOP) stabilizing factors for the target group. These TOP 4 stabilizing factors were "job - interests alignment", "long career opportunities" "organizations respect to its employees" and "compensation".

This diploma thesis is focused on spa region in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical work's aim is to qualify basic concepts and to mention legal framework relating to the topic. The theoretical part is focused on foundation of first spas in Europe and mainly in our country too. The significant piece of this theoretic part contains some information about relation of tourism to spa. It is finished by mentioning trends, opportunities and threats in future. The practical part is focused on analysis of present spa offer. The significant piece of the practical part deals with the data acquired from questionnaires filled in by young people. The aim was to verify the statements mentioned at the beginning of the diploma thesis. The results can be useful for extension of spa offer.

The thesis deals with the young generation´s view of the old age period. The theoretical part of work is devoted to the issues of ageing and the old age. The changes associated with the ageing process are described there and the demographic trends of ageing population and the situation in the Czech Republic are also mentioned. Emphasis is given to the specification, formation and transformation of generations over a period of time. In the chapter called ´Generation gap relationships´, points of view of both the young and the elderly are described, together with the ageism phenomenon and mutual solidarity. The following chapters of the theoretical part are devoted to generation gap conflicts and communication. Qualitative research, aiming to discover how young generation members view the old age and elderly people, is carried out in the practical part of thesis. The qualitative research deals with the four main topics: elderly people definition through the eyes of young, young generation´s characterization of the old age, the status of elderly people in the Czech society viewed by the young generation and mutual generation gap relationships in the family frame. Qualitative research was carried out by means of semi-structured interviews with informers belonging to the young generation. In the practical part of thesis, relationships between the young and the elderly generation are detaily scrutinized.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá českou Generací Y v komerčních komunikacích, potažmo v marketingu. Zabývala jsem se tedy tzv. generačním marketingem, což marketingový přístup, který na zákazníky nazírá z hlediska generace, ke které příslušejí. Generace Y jsou současní mladí lidé, kteří se narodili v 80. a 90. letech minulého století. V současnosti tvoří přes jednu čtvrtinu obyvatelstva České republiky. Generace Y je již v současnosti zajímavou cílovou skupinou pro firmy, ale na svém významu bude nabývat především v budoucnu. Generace Y se od předchozích generací odlišuje v několika významných znacích, kterými se zabývám v této diplomové práci. V první kapitole práce obecně charakterizuji Generaci Y, v druhé kapitole se zabývám charakteristickými rysy, které jsou využitelné pro marketing a ve třetí kapitole poznatky konfrontuji s výzkumem Market & Media & Lifestyle -- TGI a s výsledky vlastního průzkumu mezi mladými českými lidmi.

Abstract:
This doctoral thesis deals with design of a new generation of coherence-controlled holographic microscope (CCHM). The microscope is based on off-axis holographic configuration using diffraction grating and allows the use of temporally and spatially incoherent illumination. In the theoretical section a new optical configuration of the microscope is proposed and conditions for different parameters of the microscope and its optical components are derived. The influence of different sources of noise on phase detection sensitivity is studied. In the next section design of experimental setup is described and automatable adjustment procedure is proposed. Last section describes experimental verification of the most important optical parameters of the experimental setup. When compared to previous generation of CCHM, the newly proposed configuration uses infinity-corrected objectives and common microscope condensers, allows more space for the specimens, eliminates the limitation of spectral transmittance and significantly simplifies the adjustment procedure so that automation of this procedure is possible.

Abstract:
Velikost sítě Internet dosáhla takového rozměru, že globálně jednoznačná adresace všech připojených zařízení již není možná při zachování současné architektury TCP/IPv4. Tímto problémem se začalo zabývat již v 90. letech a od té doby bylo představeno několik návrhů nových architektur a síťových protokolů, které mají či měly ambice omezení adresace vyřešit. V současné době, v roce 2016, je jediným globálně nasazovaným řešením problému adresace protokol IPv6. Tento protokol zvětšuje velikosti síťové adresy čímž umožňuje adresovat téměř libovolné množství zařízení, ovšem za cenu nekompatibility se současným protokolem IPv4. Rozdílně se také staví ke způsobu automatické konfigurace koncových zařízení, proměnlivé velikosti síťové hlavičky a omezení nekompatibility řeší různými přechodovými mechanismy. Tato práce diskutuje dopady, které tyto změny mají na oblast monitorování a účtování uživatelů. Zejména změny způsobu konfigurace adresy vyžadují jiný přístup než v současných monitorovacích systémech, které ukládají pouze metadata o síťové komunikace pomocí protokolu NetFlow/IPFIX. Práce je zaměřena primárně na vyřešení problému účtování uživatelů v sítích kde jsou souběžně nasazeny protokoly IPv4 i IPv6, použity tunelovací přechodové mechanismy nebo překlad adres. Část práce je za- měřena na měření globálního vývoje a nasazení protokolu IPv6 mezi koncovými poskytovateli internetového připojení, poskytovateli obsahu a páteřními operátory.

The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of biofuels as a renewable source of energy in transportation, which has recently gotten under social spotlight. The theoretical part is focused on an explanation of basic terminology, historical development and especially reasons for the need to replace current fosil fuels with respect to an increasing volume of CO2 and shortening oil reserves. The practical part compares characteristics, use, pros and cons of the biofuels of the first and second generation and tries to estimate benefits of the biofuels of the second generation in both economic and environmental area.

The theoretical part of this thesis named "The Analysis of Consumer Behavior of Women in the Age of Internet" describes the contemporary state of social media. The greatest attention is devoted to Internet forums and their ability to influence the consumer behavior of women in the era of Internet. The thesis also deals with the use of Internet marketing on these social forums. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the survey centered upon the greatest Czech discussion server for women -- Omlazení.cz and carried out in the form of questionnaires. The results of the survey were analyzed and on their basis the effect of individual discussions on the purchase of certain products was revealed.

Abstract:
The young generation born in the mid-1990s and later is referred to as Generation Z. As the only post-war generation, they grew entirely on the World Wide Web and has been increasingly associated with the rapid increase in daily use of technology on a daily basis. Mainly the Internet and smart mobile phones have become an indispensable part of their lives and are often used in consumer preferences and during shopping. The paper focuses on the analysis and evaluation of selected results of Generation Z research in the Czech Republic in relation to shopping behaviour and on-line shopping. In terms of methodology, the research is based on an extensive quantitative questionnaire survey among members of a given generation in the Czech Republic. The results show that Generation Z a bit surprisingly prefers shopping in a brick-and-mortar store compared to online shopping. On the other hand, Czech young population not surprisingly spends the largest expenditures on food, entertainment, clothing and footwear, housing and travel, and this product mix is also reflected in the frequency of visits. This finding may be important for retailers and managers because, despite the ever-increasing implementation of smart technologies and an online lifestyle across all generations, brick-and-mortar businesses are still competitive to face this trend.

Abstract:
The robotic motion planning criteria has evolved from kinematics to dynamics in recent years. Many research achievements have been made in dynamic motion planning, but the externally applied loads are usually limited to the gravity force. Due to the increasing demand for generic tasks, the motion should be generated for various functions such as pulling, pushing, twisting, and bending. In this presentation, a comprehensive form of equations of motion, which includes the general external loads applied at any points of the system, is derived and implemented. An optimization-based algorithm is then developed to generate load-effective motions of redundant manipulators (single-loop and tree-structured chains) that guarantee the execution of the generic tasks under limited actuator capacities. It is shown that if the external loads are not incorporated in the motion planning formulation, then the generated motions do not always guarantee the execution of the task, especially when a large load is desired. By using our algorithm, the load-effective motions can be found that are executable for given external loads. The proposed method is also applicable in predicting realistic dynamic human motions. Some dual-arm human tasks are simulated to show different motions to sustain different amounts of external loads. Our formulation for general external loads will further advance the current motion planning methods for redundant manipulators.

Abstract:
It is well believed that S-curve motion profiles are able to reduce residual vibration, and are widely applied in the motion control fields. Recently, a new asymmetric S-curve (AS-curve) motion profile, which is able to effectively adjust the acceleration and deceleration periods, is proposed to enhance the performance of S-curve motion profile, and proved to be better than the traditional symmetric S-curve in many cases. However, most commercial motion controllers do not support the AS-curve motion profiles inherently. Special knowledge or expensive advanced controlling systems, such as dSPACE system, are required to generate the AS-curve motion command, which limits the applications of the AS-curve motion profile in many practical applications. In this paper, a generic method based on the Position-Velocity-Time (PVT) mode move supported by most commercial motion controllers is proposed to generate exact AS-curve motion command in real machines. The analytic polynomial functions of AS-curve motion profile are also derived to simplify the further application, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by numerical simulation.

Abstract:
In this paper, we propose the first model to be able to generate visually grounded questions with diverse types for a single image. Visual question generation is an emerging topic which aims to ask questions in natural language based on visual input. To the best of our knowledge, it lacks automatic methods to generate meaningful questions with various types for the same visual input. To circumvent the problem, we propose a model that automatically generates visually grounded questions with varying types. Our model takes as input both images and the captions generated by a dense caption model, samples the most probable question types, and generates the questions in sequel. The experimental results on two real world datasets show that our model outperforms the strongest baseline in terms of both correctness and diversity with a wide margin.
