We systematically optimize the yield of XUV pulses at 93 2 eV with respect to experimentally adjustable parameters such as gas pressure, focal position of laser beam and interaction length by using few cycle laser pulses. We demonstrate carrier-envelope phase dependence of the optimized XUV spectrum, consistent with the formation of isolated attosecond pulses.
