The present work describes about the comparative study of percentage purity and cost of some generic and branded marketed tablets of different categories like Anti-diabetic , Diuretic, Anti-pyretic and Vitamin B formulations. Branded formulations are at high cost, so that the poor can’t afford them. Therapeutic efficacy of Generics is almost identical to that of branded drugs. But one of the major differences is Generics are 80% cheaper on average when compared to branded drugs. In fact FDA estimates that 50% of generic drug production is by brand-name companies. Generic drugs occupy a unique position in the U.S. pharmaceuticals market. On one hand, generics are a product of basic free-market economic reasoning. Congress enacted the Drug Price Competition and Patent Term Restoration Act of 1984 (Hatch-Waxman) based on the uncontroversial assumption that inexpensive generic competition would reduce prescription drug costs. On the other hand, the generic drug industry is primarily a regulatory creation; Hatch-Waxman facilitates generic competition by permitting generic manufacturers to rely heavily on prior expenditures of pioneer drug manufacturers, inc

The goal of this thesis is to produce a generic database system for an IT-company calledNinetech. In this context generic means the database system can accept any input, withinreason, without one having to create a specific database schema beforehand. The prototypewill consist of a database, web service and a dynamic-link library. The three aforementionedcomponent’s design and function will be explained in chapter 2, alongside with the difficul-ties surrounding manipulating arbitrary data. The prototype’s performance is evaluated inchapter 3 and conclusions are drawn in chapter 4.

It will, therefore, test the efficacy of the value chain and develop any specific pattern that relates to a combination strategy. The continued presence and importance of Christian moral values in our daily lives, coupled with the fact that faith in Christianity is in continual decline, raises the question as to why having lost faith in Christianity, we have also not lost faith in our Christian moral values. The potential-dependent threshold (PDT) effect was introduced in an initiation-propagation mathematical model that simulated a partially submerged reinforced concrete column in sea water. Results indicated that when PDT is ignored, meaning a system with potential-independent threshold (PIT), the corrosion damage prediction can be overly conservative and may lead to structural overdesign. AML transformation was defined as starting when the patient entered the trial and proceeding to the time of AML diagnosis.Combined HRs and 95% CIs f

Abstract:
The top 200 drug products most frequently dispensed in the university hospitals in Bangkok during 1980 to 1982 were identified and ranked. Paracetamol was ranked number one with the highest number of tablets dispensed while Ampicillin was ranked number one with the highest value dispensed. The top 200 drug products accounted for approximately 82 percent of the total value of drug dispensed in a year. At the same time, the drugs were classified according to their pharmacological action. Penicillins was the sub-pharmacological class with the highest value dispensed which accounted for approximat

Abstract:
Fuzzy Description Logics (FDLs) combine classical Description Logics with the semantics of Fuzzy Logics in order to represent and reason with vague knowledge. Most FDLs using truth values from the interval [0; 1] have been shown to be undecidable in the presence of a negation constructor and general concept inclusions. One exception are those FDLs whose semantics is based on the infinitely valued Gödel t-norm (G). We extend previous decidability results for the FDL G-ALC to deal with complex role inclusions, nominals, inverse roles, and qualified number restrictions. Our novel approach is base
