The article discusses issues related to the development, research and testing of a new method of mathematical modeling and field testing of geoecological monitoring systems based on geoelectric methods of geodynamic control. The method being developed involves creating the effect of the presence of near-surface and deep-seated inhomogeneities using additional point or extended sources (electrodes of various shapes, cable sections of various lengths and shapes, etc.). The problem with the known methods of physical (full-scale) modeling of geoelectric sections is the rigid specification of the g

In the case of a certain geoelectric section, we analyze the diffusion depth of TEM field, and simulate the time when the peak of electric field excited by different coils emitting step pulses reaches a certain depth underground, all of which indicate that the arrival depth of TEM diffusion field is only related to the delay time. This lays a theoretical foundation for the TEM method of small center loop to detect greater depth. If the equivalent sending current of transmitter and the equivalent area of receiving coil or probe are increased, the TEM method of small loop device can reach the de

The magnetic and electrical resistivity surveys have led to identifying the geological structure of Site 4 in Bębło, revealing varied limestone karren: karst grooves and clints, at a depth of one metre, under a shallow layer of humus and clayey loess. The bottom of those grooves may have been covered with flint concretions, and it is likely that flint was extracted exactly from there. The paper presents the results of geophysical studies using the method of transient electromagnetic field (TEM) in the area of the «Crystal» underground nuclear explosion in 2008 and 2019. The measurement technique and signal differences in different years related to the noise situation at the site of work are described in detail. Geoelectric sections constructed from the results of field studies show the high information content of the TEM method in the study of Yakutia and can be used to study the effect of the «Crystal» underground nuclear explosion on the geological environment.
