The article examines the importance of geographical indication for the formation of the image of the hospitality industry. In Ukraine, a certain legal framework for the legal protection of intellectual property has been created, but the development of a market economy requires further improvement of national legislation to solve problems arising during the use of intellectual property objects from both the legal and economic side.
