Em 2013, o historiador da arte e estudioso da imagem Hans Belting publica Faces. Eine Geschichte des Gesichts, que pode ser compreendido como Faces – uma história do rosto. As pesquisas sobre o rosto, no entanto, já estavam presentes em outras obras, como Bild und Kult. Eine Geschichte des Bildes vor dem Zeitalter der Kunst (Imagem e culto: uma história das imagens antes da era da arte), de 1990; Bild- Anthropologie (traduzido para o português como Antropologia da imagem), de 2001, e Das echte Bild. Bildfragen als Glaubensfragen (A Verdadeira Imagem, na edição portuguesa da editora Dafne), de 2005. O rosto é uma das imagens mais significativas e onipresentes, quer do ponto de vista mercadológico, estético, político ou religioso (BELTING, 2015; AGAMBEM, 1996; DARWIN, 2014; COURTINE; HAROCHE, 2007) e mobiliza saberes que vão da Biologia à Psicanálise, passando pelas Ciências Políticas e Arte, mas com pouca, ainda, atenção da Comunicação Social. Este artigo reflete sobre o legado de Hans Belting para o estudo do rosto “na” mídia e do rosto “como” mídia.

Статтю присвячено непрямій формі вербальної агресії, у якій найбільш яскраво виявлено катартичну функцію цього мовного феномену. Проведено порівняння з прямою формою і виокремлено позитивні аспекти непрямої вербальної агресії для мовця, його психічного здоров´я та соціальних контактів. Досліджено статеві та соціальні аспекти вживання, розроблено типологію адресата цієї форми вербальної агресії та типологію ситуацій, у яких до неї вдаються. Виокремлено постать «слухач»/«слухачі», яка дотепер залишалася поза увагою прагма- та психолінгвістичних досліджень. Емпіричну основу творять усні й письмові опитування мешканців м. Відень (200 осіб), що їх зібрано за допомогою квалітативних методів опитування (письмово з використанням короткого й розгорнутого питальника та усно у формі інтенсивного частково стандартизованого інтерв’ю) та проаналізовано методами контекстуального, прагмалінгвістичного та конверсаційного аналізу. Dr. Harald Linke, von 1969 bis 1992 Professor für Landschaftsarchitektur und Ingenieurbiologie an der TU Dresden liefert einen Zeitzeugenbericht zur Geschichte des Botanischen Gartens der TU Dresden zwischen 1945 und 1990. A growing interest in both the history and the historiography of linguistics has in recent times been seen by many as an indication of the discipline's increasing maturity, despite the fact that in the opening sentence of his recent book (1998), Seuren laments the still insufficient volume of scholarship in this area. There was a boom in the publishing of histories of linguistics in the 1960s and early 1970s: the beginnings of a critical historiography were established, and journals and professional associations were founded. The 1990s saw a new wave of activity: apart from a plethora of edited volumes, several histories appeared and to the now established journals (Historiographia Linguistica, Histoire-Epistémologie-Langage) has been added another (Beiträge zur Geschichte der Sprachwissenschaft, started in 1991). Among the histories are one-volume publications by Koerner and Asher (eds.) (1995), Malmberg (1991), Swiggers (1997) and Seuren (1998), as well as multi-volume editions: Lepschy (ed.) which appeared first in Italian (vol.1 in 1990), then in English (vol. 1 in 1994), Auroux, vol.1 in 1989, and Schmitter (1987), which is the first of a planned eight-volume series in German. A trilingual volume is scheduled to start appearing (Koerner, Auroux, Niederehe and Versteegh (eds.), in preparation). In all this, there have been many ‘persistent questions’ (to use a phrase from Koerner, 1995), but there have also been some shifts of emphasis. Unavoidably selective, this article will attempt to survey more recent work, referring back to older work for certain key points only (for earlier work, see Koerner, 1978b; Ayres-Bennett, 1987; Swiggers, 1987). As certain questions tend to recur, concerning, for example, the chronological versus the thematic, the descriptive versus the theoretical, or breadth versus depth of coverage, I shall try to characterise briefly a number of recent approaches, before examining certain key issues in greater detail. Finally, I shall look at two examples from the founding period of contemporary linguistics in France.

Die gegenwärtige germanistische Historiolinguistik ist geprägt durch eine pragmatische Ausweitung ihres traditionell sprachstrukturellen Erkenntnisinteresses. Ausdruck dieser Entwicklung ist z.B. die gänzliche Neubearbeitung der Sprachgeschichte von P. von Polenz (1991 und 1994), die an Stelle der wiederholt neu aufgelegten und auf H. Sperber (1926) gründenden Geschichte der deutschen Sprache (von Polenz 1978) erschienen ist und insbesondere eine "sozial- und mediengeschichtliche Fundierung" (ebd., 3) anstrebt, wobei neben anderen Aspekten als Schwerpunkt der Darstellung explizi1t die Sprachpragmatik genannt wird (ebd.). Sind die konzeptionellen Ecksteine einer solchen pragmatischen Sprachgeschichtsschreibung auch schon Anfang der 1980er Jahre insbesondere mit H. Sitta (1980) und D. Cherubim (1984) gesetzt, so verstärkt sich das sprachhandlungsbezogene Interesse an der Geschichte des Deutschen erst in jüngster Zeit. Die Entwicklung läuft dabei parallel zur Konstituierung eines pragmatischen Paradigmas, das als Gemeinschaftswerk geisteswissenschaftlicher Forschung ebenfalls in den 1980er Jahren an Bedeutung gewann und als dessen notwendige Folge H. Stachowiak ([Hg.] 1986, XVII) einen '"Paradigmawechsel' großen Stils" prophezeit hat.1 Bei den Pragmatisierungstendenzen sprachgeschichtlicher Fragestellungen kommt der historischen Dimensionierung textlinguistischer Erkenntnisfelder besondere Bedeutung zu. Es ist bekannt, daß die in den späten 1960er und 70er Jahren begründete Textlinguistik zunächst ebenso ahistorisch gewesen ist, wie die Historiolinguistik apragmatisch. Doch mit der fortschreitenden Rezeption sprachhandlungsorientierter Ansätze in der Sprachgeschichte gewann der Text i.S. einer komplexen sprachlichen Handlung (vgl. u.a. Sandig 1978, 69f., 99ff., 157f.) als Analyseobjekt für die pragmatische Orientierung der Sprachgeschichte zunehmend an Bedeutung. In diesem Zusammenhang ist die Forderung nach textlinguistischer bzw. textsortenbe zogener Fokussierung der Sprachgeschichtsschreibung vielfach formuliert worden. Als Beispiel sei hier aus H .. Stegers (1984, 200) grundlegendem Aufsatz Sprachgeschichte als Geschichte der Textsorten/I'exttypen ... zitiert.
