Hot fluid injection, the preferred method used in the recovery of heavy oil and in various mechanisms such as steam drive, cyclic steam injection, steam stimulation, has become the industrial method for increasing recovery. We present a new method for studying permeability anisotropy and paleo-depositional cycles by combining NMR anisotropic restricted diffusion measurements and scanning electron microscope (SEM) images on the core. Abstract Siliciclastic Ghariff reservoirs in Southern Oman fields are prolific reservoirs of fluvio-deltaic origin. These reservoirs are classified into Upper, Middle and Lower Ghariff sands depending on the geological environment of deposition. These reservoirs are developed via an initial primary depletion phase followed by secondary recovery techniques of water flood (Al Kalbani, Al Barwani, et al., 2023). One aspect of the field's development history is that the most promising reservoirs; the middle and upper parts of Lower Ghariff were given the highest drilling and development priority.

Abstract:

The CLARISSA Nepal Action Research Group discussed in this report is located in a UNESCO world heritage site, in one of the Durbar Squares in Kathmandu Valley. The location was selected as a cluster for CLARISSA processes due to its density of street-connected children and child street vendors. These children are highly mobile, and the nature of the neighbourhood is diverse. The involvement of children in child labour, such as children working in small-scale khaja ghars and Adult Entertainment Sector venues, can be directly seen in this area, making it an important location for CLARISSA Action

In late 2020, CLARISSA undertook scoping studies and literature reviews into supply chain/human chain/urban neighbourhood dynamics in Kathmandu, and their impact on worst forms of child labour (WFCL).
