A variety of flood models and commercial flood simulation software are provided in the literature, with different accuracies and precisions changing from coarse to fine, depending on model structure and detailed descriptions of basin and hydrologic properties. Due to the discrete structure of overland flow and unknown-dynamic boundary conditions, such classical approaches are not cable of fast and reliable spatio–temporal estimations for overland flows,

While there are numerous commercial off-the-shelf software solutions available to model geologic data in both 2D and 3D, these can be costly and have a steep learning curve. Some of the same functionality of these software packages can be accomplished by workflows that incorporate built-in geoprocessing tools of Geographic Information System (GIS) software. Probabilistic flood hazard maps (0.5%, 0.1% and 1% flood risks) were used, obtained from a model installation in an area subject to flood risk, in this case, the municipality of Ungheni in the Republic Moldova, which has been flooded in the past. The application of GIS technologies is necessary to prevent floods affecting households, infrastructure and to minimize its effects. Most GIS systems use separate thematic "layers" to store different types of spatial data. Each of them contains specific characteristics of the area, so there are separate layers for the distribution of buildings, the road network or the relief of the terrain. The spatial information used in GIS can be grouped into four main groups: polygonal maps, terrain models, networks and discrete, unconnected objects. Polygonal maps and terrain models are considered to be "field" models of space, covering the whole map, so there is some kind of information available at every location. On the other hand,

Abstract:
Maize productivity in Indonesia was still low (5.241 tons/ha) compared to the average of the ten largest maize producing countries in the world (6.179 tons/ha). The potential for maize on the island of Madura is approximately 360,000 hectares. The potential for maize cultivation in Madura continues to decrease in land quality due to improper land clearing and land-use change. The purpose of this research was to make a map of land suitability for maize using Remote Sensing Data and Geographic Information System (GIS). The land suitability method for maize plants used satellite imagery as a data
