Cet article s’inscrit dans le prolongement d’une recherche que je mène depuis une vingtaine d’années sur les rapports entre cinéma et pensée. En m’appuyant en particulier sur les réflexions de Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, Edgar Morin, j’ai ainsi pu créer les concepts de « complexité esthétique », « noosphère filmique », « cinématographie des flux ». Suite à l’évocation de créateurs-penseurs du cinéma muet d’avant-garde (Epstein, Dulac, Artaud), sont ici abordés des films d’Amos Gitaï, Chris Marker, Jean-Luc Godard, Alain Resnais et Andreï Tarkovski. L’intitulé, « Les métaphores filmiques du cerveau » indique que l’approche de la relation cinéma-cerveau est d’ordre philosophique, mais également d’ordre poétique. Si le cinéma est à même de donner forme à la pensée, il invente aussi des circuits cérébraux — sonores et visuels — qui lui permettent de devenir forme « pensante ».

Banyak gitaris yang memainkan gitar klasik dan gitar elektrik secara beriringan. Namun banyak dari mereka yang merasakan bahwa kedua teknik permainan gitar tersebut agak bertolak belakang dan saling mempengaruhi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjembatani antara teknik permainan gitar klasik dan gitar elektrik. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan studi kasus, kajian pustaka dan karya dengan memanfaatkan jurnal online, buku serta partitur karya. Hasilnya adalah teknik permainan gitar klasik dan elektrik yang agak bertolak belakang tersebut dapat diatasi salah satunya dengan cara memainkan etude. Etude tersebut terdiri dari teknik-teknik permainan yang khas terdapat pada gitar klasik dan gitar elektrik. Selain itu teknik-teknik permainan yang khas tersebut dapat dikombinasikan sehingga menghasilkan teknik hybrid antara gitar klasik dan gitar elektrik. Dengan tujuan, gitaris klasik dan gitaris elektrik yang memainkan kedua gitar tersebut secara beriringan akan mengetahui teknik-teknik permainan yang khas terdapat pada gitar klasik dan gitar elektrik. Serta mengaplikasikan teknik hybrid tersebut kedalam permainan gitarnya, sehingga gitaris bisa melatih kedua teknik permainan gitar tersebut secara bersamaan, tanpa meninggalkan salah satunya.Many guitarists play classical guitar and electric guitar simultaneously. But many of them feel that the two guitar playing techniques are somewhat contradictory and influence each other. The purpose of this study is to bridge the technique between classical guitar and electric guitar. The methodology used in this research is a case study approach, literature review and works by utilizing online journals, books and scores of works. The result is that the classical and electric guitar playing techniques are somewhat contradictory, one of which can be overcome by playing etude. Etude consists of techniques that are typical of the game found on the classical guitar and electric guitar. In addition, these typical playing techniques can be combined to produce a hybrid technique between a classical guitar and an electric guitar. With the aim, the classical guitarist and the electric guitarist who play both guitars together will know the game techniques that are typical found on the classical guitar and the electric guitar. As well as applying these hybrid techniques into his guitar playing, so the guitarist can practice both guitar playing techniques simultaneously, without leaving one of them.

Les Gitans espagnols forment une minorité culturelle aux sources métissées, forcée à l’assimilation jusqu’à la fin du XVIIIe siècle. Des emprunts mutuels marquent leurs relations avec la société espagnole. La multiplicité des origines de la population majoritaire de Jerez a influencé « l’intégration » des Gitans dans cette ville espagnole marquée par leur concentration importante et le discours sur « l’entremêlement » identitaire (entreverado est l’expression vernaculaire). Cette composition sociale spécifique alimente une hésitation à reconnaître l’identité culturelle gitane au profit d’un entremêlement culturel anonyme menant à une identification citoyenne. Le métissage et la multiplicité des emprunts mutuels complexifient la reconnaissance de la spécificité de l’identité gitane, qu’elle soit métissée ou non. En réponse à une quête d’exotisme chez soi et rééquilibrant les « oublis » forcés d’un patrimoine identitaire, le « sang » est parcellarisé de façon à privilégier ses lignées de façon contextuelle. Comme dans les contextes coloniaux, le discours sur la quantification du sang intervient dans la validation des identités personnelles et collectives. Cet article ancre les variations et modalités du métissage dans ses dimensions culturelle, sociale, politique et citoyenne en parcourant les expériences et les discours sur la gitanité et le gitanisme.

<p>The objectives of this research are: (1) developing video media teaching materials of Bhagavad Gita, (2) to analyze the effectiveness of Bhagavad Gita video media use, (3) to analyze the efficiency of Bhagavad Gita video media, (4) to analyze the attractiveness of Bhagavad Gita video media. This research uses a research and development approach, conducted in religious high school hindu (STAH) Lampung. Data collection using tests and questionnaires and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The conclusions of the study were (1) to produce teaching material of Bhagavad Gita video media consisting of eight elements, namely: (a) opening greetings, (b) introduction, (c) parts of Bhagavad Gita, (d) how to read, (e) types of mentrum, (f) examples, (g) self-assessment and (h) closing greetings. (2) video media teaching materials Bhagavad Gita effective with the average of the gain value in sequence is 0.71; 0.77; and 0.77. (3) Bhagavad Gita video media is efficient as a learning media of 1.7. (4) The video media instructional Bhagavad Gita is attractive in used as media video learning Bhagavad Gita with the consecutive average percentage being 91%, 91%, and 92%.</p>

Secara umum penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana proses pembuatan gitar elektrik di Jalan Gatot Subroto Kota Medan. Proses pembuatan gitar elektrik diawali dengan pemilihan kayu. Kayu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kayu jenis mahogany, maple dan ebony. Setelah kayu didapat dilanjutkan dengan merancang desain gitar elektrik. Proses selanjutnya yaitu pembentukkan body dan neck gitar elektrik dengan menggunakan alat pemotong kayu bandsaw dan router table. Untuk tahap penyelesaian akhir (finishing) dilakukan proses pengecatan dan pemasangan rangkaian elektrik sesuai dengan skema yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan hal-hal positif yang diterima oleh pengerajin setelah menjalankan kegiatan industri pembuatan gitar elektrik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari keterlibatannya usaha industri Dedek Craft dalam kegiatan UKM (Usaha Kecil dan Menengah) yang rutin diadakan tiap tahun di kantor kecamatan Medan Petisah. Kendala yang dihadapi pengerajin dalam pembuatan gittar elektrik yaitu pada proses pengecatan yang masih sangat bergantung kepada cuaca. Pada umumnya untuk mendapatkan produk Dedek Craft, pembeli langsung datang ke tempat industri karena pengerajin membuka galeri sendiri di rumahnya yang sekaligus tempat industri ini beroprasi. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan dapat menjadi pedoman maupun acuan bagi masyarakat pada umumnya yang menginginkan informasi berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan gitar elektrik.

Penelitian ini mengambarkan pola pemanfaatan pariwisata terumbu karang di Taman Wisata Perairan (TWP) Gita Nada dan mengestimasi nilai manfaat ekosistem terumbu karang dengan pendekatan biaya perjalanan sebagai dasar rujukan perencanaan pengembangan kawasan pariwisata di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian dilakukan di Taman TWP Gita Nada Sekotong Lombok pada bulan Januari-Maret 2020. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan cara wawancara menggunakan kuisoner dan observasi segala aktivitas pariwisata yang ada di TWP Gita Nada. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dengan cara penelusuran literatur pada hasil penelitian terdahulu serta publikasi yang dilakukan oleh instansi terkait. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Zona Travel Cost Method (ZTCM). Perairan TWP Gita Nada memiliki kombinasi perairan dangkal dengan tipe fringing reefs dan letak TWP Gita Nada yang berbatasan dengan Selat Lombok. Atraksi wisata yang ditawarkan di TWP Gita Nada adalah wisata pantai dan bahari. TWP Gita Nada dengan luas terumbu karang sebesar 1279 ha memiliki nilai manfaat pariwisata Rp3.004.031.073/ha dengan jumlah total pengunjung per 1000 penduduk pada kedua zona adalah sebanyak 51.228 orang. Berdasarkan model fungsi permintaan pariwisata TWP Gita Nada pengembangan kedepan adalah wisata alam yang dikemas menjadi wisata edukasi yang fokus pada anak muda dengan minat belajar tinggi. Perbaikan aksesibiltas dan peningkatan kualitas sarana dan prasarana yang memadai akan menambah daya tarik TWP Gita Nada, dan kedepan lokasi wisata harus mampu memberikan jaminan 2H yaitu healthy dan hygiene.Title: Benefit Value of Coral Reef Ecosystem Tourism in The Marine Park Gita Nada Sekotong LombokThis study describes the use patterns of coral reef tourism in Marine Park Gita Nada. It estimates the benefit value of coral reef ecosystem with travel cost approach as a reference for planning the development of tourism areas in West Lombok Regency. The research conducted at Marine Park Gita Nada Sekotong Lombok in January to March 2020. Primary data were collected by interview questionnaires and observations of entire tourism activities in Marine Park Gita Nada. Secondary data were collected by literature review on the results of previous research and publications of related agencies. The research used zona travel cost method (ZTCM) analysis.The waters of Marine Park Gita Nada is a combination of shallow water with fringing reef circulation, and Marine Park Gita Nada is located in the border of Lombok Strait. Marine Park Gita Nada offers beach and marine attraction, and coral reefs cover 1279 ha in the area. Marine Park Gita Nada has a tourism benefit value of Rp3,004,031,073/ha with total number of visitors in both zones are 51,228 people per 1000 inhabitants. Based on tourism demand function, the future development for Marine Park Gita Nada would be educational nature-based tourism focusing on young people with high learning interests. Improvement of accessibility and quality of infrastructure will attract more tourists to TWP Gita Nada, and in the future it must guarantee the healthy and hygiene (2H) of the tourism park.

Abstract:
This article studies the reception of the Bhagavad Gita within circles of Perennial Philosophy scholars and examines how the Gita is interpreted to the extent that it influenced their thoughts. Within the Hindu tradition, the Gita is often read from a dualist and/or non-dualist perspective in the context of observing religious teachings and practices. In the hands of Perennial Philosophy scholars, the Gita is read from a different angle. Through a critical examination of the original works of the Perennialists, this article shows that the majority of the Perennial traditionalists read the Gita from a dualist background but that, eventually, they were convinced that the Gita’s paradigm is essentially non-dualist. In turn, this non-dualist paradigm of the Gita influences and transforms their ontological thought, from the dualist to the non-dualist view of the reality. Meanwhile, the non-traditionalist group of Perennial Philosophy scholars are not interested in this ontological discussion. They are more concerned with the question of how the Gita provides certain ways of attaining human liberation and salvation. Interestingly, both traditionalist and non-traditionalist camps are influenced by the Gita, at the same time, inserting an external understanding and interpretation into the Gita.

Salah satu komponis pada abad ke 19 adalah Andrew York, lahir pada tahun 1958 di Atlanta dan dibesarkan di Virginia dan kecintaan terhadap musik ditanamkan pada usia dini. Dari sekian banyak komposisi yang dibuat Andrew York, sunburst adalah salah satu komposisi yang sangat populer dikalangan masyarakat. Sunburst sendiri ditulis pada tahun 1986 dan dipublikasikan pada tahun 1998. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) Mendeskripsikan teknik permainan gitar dalam komposisi sunburst karya Andrew York; 2) Mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor pendukung teknik-teknik gitar klasik dalam memainkan komposisi sunburst Andrew York. Penelitian difokuskan pada teknik permainan gitar klasik yang terdapat dalam sunburst karya Andrew York. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi partisipatif, dokumentasi, dan refrensi. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah partitur sunburst karya Andrew York, sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah teknik permainan gitar dalam komposisi sunburst karya Andrew York. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif yang terdiri atas data reduction (reduksi data), data display (penyajian data), verification (kesimpulan). Validasi data diperoleh dengan triangulasi data dan triangulasi pengamat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Teknik permainan gitar yang digunakan dalam sunburst karya Andrew York meliputi; Slur, Barre, Harmonic, Glissando, dan Petikan Tirando, 2) Faktor kendala yang perlu diperhatikan dalam memainkan sunburst karya Andrew York berkaitan dengan teknik-teknik permainan gitar klasik yaitu; speed, Power, kesehatan dan ketahanan fisik. Setelah menganalisis teknik-teknik yang terdapat pada komposisi sunburst karya Andrew York, teknik-teknik tersebut diantarannya: 1) Terdapat 2 macam slur pada komposisi sunburst, yaitu: Ascending atau Hammer-on dan Descending atau Pull-off, 2) Barre yang digunakan pada komposisi sunburst adalah half barre, 3) Harmonic yang digunakan pada komposisi sunburst adalah Natural harmonic dan biasanya digunakan sebagai transisi perpindahan kalimat selanjutnya. 4) Glissando di komposisi sunburst digunakan sebagai mempermudah pemain gitar saat menekan beberapa nada yang dianggap sulit dimainkan pada jari kiri, 5) Dalam komposisi sunburst, dari birama awal sampai akhir menggunakan petikan tirando untuk memainkan akor, arpeggio, dan melodiKata Kunci : Teknik permainan, Gitar klasik, Sunburst, Andrew York

The purpose of this study is to identify whether the use of different learning instructional media, that is Bhagawad Gita in the form of picture book and Bhagawad Gita in the form of plain text book, for students with different level of visual literacy, will results in any differences in the students’ understanding of the Hinduism value. This study aims to find out the answer to the questions (1) whether there are differences in the understanding of Hinduism value of students who in the learning process use Bhagawad Gita in the form of picture book compared to those who use Bhagawad Gita plain text book; (2) whether there are differences in the understanding of Hinduism value of students with a high visual literacy level who in the learning process use Bhagawad Gita in the form of picture book compared to those who use Bhagawad Gita plain text book; and (3) whether there are differences in the understanding of Hinduism value of students with a low visual literacy level who in the learning process use Bhagawad Gita in the form of picture book compared to those who use Bhagawad Gita plain text boo. This study applies Quantitative Analysis with Quasi-Experimental Design. The population are IX grade students of Pasraman Tirta Bhuana Bekasi of Academic Year 2016-2017. Samples are taken from the population using random sampling technique with a drawing method. The sample size are 32 students devided into two groups. Different treatment on the learning instructional media is given to each group after visual literacy of all samples are measured. Validity and reliability of the instrument are tested using Product Moment Correlation Technique and Alpha Cronbach's respectively. Two Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with Treatment by Level Design is applied for data analysis.The results of this study are (1) there are differences in the understanding of Hinduism value of students who in the learning process use Bhagawad Gita in the form of picture book compared to those who use Bhagawad Gita plain text book; (2) the average learning outcome of students who have a high visual literacy level and use Bhagawad Gita in the form of picture book is higher than those who use Bhagawad Gita plain text book; and (3) the average learning outcome of students who have a low visual literacy level and use Bhagawad Gita in the form of picture book is higher than those who use Bhagawad Gita plain text book.

The main purpose of this article is to explore philosophical insights embedded in this historical scripture and help the readers to gain its greater understanding and insights. It also searches metaphysical principles consisted in the Bhagavad Gita and provides answer of the questions: what metaphysical principles can be seen in the Bhagavad Gita? How can it be interpreted? How the metaphysical principles of the Bhagavad Gita associates/disassociates with western theories of philosophy? Considering the questions, the Bhagavad Gita provides theory of creation, cycle of creation and destruction and discusses about Brahma element that is seed of creative principles, Atma, Paramatta, the God. It also includes theory of being (existence). In comparison with western philosophy, it comprises wider and in-depth metaphysical principles. In order to interpret metaphysical principles, this article elaborates general introduction of the Bhagavad Gita, general concept of metaphysics and metaphysical principle can be seen in the Bhagavad Gita. It also searches associations/ disassociations of metaphysical principles of the Bhagavad Gita with metaphysics of western schools of thought. This paper explores the views on the creation of knowledge, innovations, and inventions from the Bhagavad-Gita and its significance in today’s context. A review of literature on Bhagavad-Gita shows that a number of studies have been done on the Bhagvad Gita from various perspectives; however, very few have been done to integrate the Bhagvad-Gita’s interpretation of knowledge, self-knowledge, innovations, and inventions as a necessity in the contemporary world. As a result, this paper not only interprets the literature but also provides some significance and insights on the contents of Bhagvad Gita and from the ancient Indian philosophical perspective. Chinmayananda asserted that an ancient philosophical scripture like the Bhagavad-Gita needs intelligent re-interpretation to apply effectively in the context of modern times. This paper is based on published literature and its interpretations, a qualitative research methodology that involves the study, understanding, and interpretation of ancient classical scripture. The Bhagavad-Gita is more than 5,000 years old and is written in the Sanskrit language. In a nutshell, the Bhagavad-Gita provides an inside-out approach to knowledge, innovations, inventions management, unlike the outside-in western perspective. The Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita is one of the most popular ancient religious scriptures not only amongst the Indians but also throughout the world. It speaks to the mind that has fought in life, a mind that is dissatisfied, a mind that is alert and thinking and that has many conflicts. Bhagavad Gita inspires the mind and provides strength, moral courage, and clarity of thought with which one can steer through the struggle.

Tujuan penelitian adalah dapat mengetahui peramalan produksi gitar model APX500II bulan Januari 2015 pada PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Indonesia menggunakan metode forecasting dan QM for Windows. Sehingga hasil produksi gitar sesuai dengan permintaan pasar dan tidak terjadi pemborosan atau kerugian akibat produksi berlebih. Serta dapat mengetahui nilai MAD dan MSE yang paling sesuai untuk meramalkan hasil produksi gitar bulan Januari 2015. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Indonesia. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 08 Desember 2014 sampai 09 Januari 2015 selama satu bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari ke enam metode peramalan yang digunakan, nilai MAD dan MSE yang paling rendah yaitu nilai MAD sebesar 391,0755 dan MSE 246.291,6152. Maka dapat diperoleh nilai peramalan hasil produksi gitar model APX500II untuk bulan Januari 2015 sebesar 1.068.4695 unit.

Di dalam Tango En Skai terdapat beberapa posisi dan gerakan yang cukup sulit sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan economic movement pada lagu Tango En Skai karya Roland Dyens. Penelitian ini membahas tentang gerakan yang ekonomis terhadap teknik permainan gitar yang ada pada Tango En Skai. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Observasi dilakukan dengan cara memainkan, mendengarkan dan menganalisa score Tango En Skai. Wawancara dilakukan dengan ahli dalam gitar yaitu Oegmundur Thor Johanneson, dan Fernandez Setiahadi Chandra Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan atau veifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan economic movement berpengaruh pada permainan, karena gitar klasik memiliki posisi-posisi yang cukup sulit apalagi pada karya-karya modern seperti Tango En Skai. Dengan economic movement, posisi-posisi atau teknik yang gerakannya cukup sulit pada Tango En Skai dapat dilakukan dengan mudah, baik itu jari tangan kanan maupun tangan kiri. Dalam Tango En Skai terdapat 16 economic movement, yaitu pada bagian intro, periode A dan periode B. The Bhagavad Gita is usually called the fifth veda ( pancama veda ), together with the four Sanskrit Vedas, namely the Rig Veda , Atharwa Veda , Sama Veda and Yajur Veda . The Balinese are familiar with the five vedas, and know the Bhagavad Gita as the sixth book of the ancient Javanese version of the Mahabharata epic. The Bhagavad Gita that features as a part of the ancient Javanese version of the Bhisma Parwa is ascribed to King Teguh Dharmawangsa Anantavikrama Uttunggadewa of the Kediri Kingdom in the 10th century CE. He is credited to have been responsible for ordering the translation of the Mahabharata (known in Bali as Asta Dasar Parwa —the 18 parwas). This translation effort from Sanskrit into the ancient Javanese language was dubbed mangjawaken Byasamata (translating into Javanese the works of the sage Byasa). The ancient Javanese version of the Bhagavad Gita contains the dialogues between Kresna and Arjuna about the swadarma (holy obligations and responsibilities) of a ksatriya (warrior) according to his wangsa (social class). A ksatriya was deemed responsible for defending his country, fighting against the enemy, as well as for upholding truth, satya wacana (truthfulness), lascarya (sincerity) and sradha bhakti (devotional service). Keywords: Bhagavad Gita, Asta Dasa Parwa , satya wacana , lascarya , bhakti Abstrak Bhagavad Gita sering disebut veda yang kelima (pancama veda) disamping empat veda yang ada, iaitu Rig Veda, Atharwa Veda, Sama Veda dan Yajur Veda berbahasa Sanskrit. Di Bali kelima-lima veda itu, termasuk Bhagavad Gita yang terdapat pada teks Bhisma Parwa, buku ke-6 daripada Mahabharata versi Jawa kuno. Empat veda dan Bhagavad Gita telah dibaca oleh masyarakat Bali dalam rangka mendapatkan ajaran tuhan untuk memperkuat nilai etika dan moral. Episod Bhagavad Gita berbahasa Jawa kuno terdapat dalam Bhisma Parwa digubah oleh Raja Teguh Darmawangsa Anantavikrama Uttunggadewa pada abad ke-10 Kerajaan Kediri. Raja Dharmawangsa Teguh menjadi manggala dalam penciptaan Mahabharata (di Bali disebut Asta Dasa Parwa atau 18 Parwa) memerintahkan rakawi untuk menyadurnya. Program alih bahasa yang disebut Mangjawaken Byasamata (mengalihbahasakan ajaran Begawan Byasa) yang sumbernya berbahasa Sanskrit kepada bahasa Jawa kuno. The people of Nepal have witnessed different political movements in the political history of Nepal. The political movements are influenced by different philosophies. Gita philosophy as well has marked distinct impact in the politics of Nepal. The people of Nepal had to bear a lot of injustice, oppression and exploitation during Rana rule. Although the governments prior to Rana rule were also not so much democratic, to some extent they were directed to public welfare. At the time of Rana rule there had taken place many reformations in global politics, but Nepali people were denied off very common citizen rights. So, there was a need for a democratic movement in Nepal. In the campaigns for democratic movements then, there was a very significant impact of Gita philosophy. It is found from this study that four martyrs of 1997BS and founder leaders of Nepali Congress and Nepal Communist Party were influenced by the ideas of Gita philosophy and the general public has a great faith on the Gita philosophy. Gita philosophy has formed the foundations for the democratic movement in Nepal. And even after the establishment of democracy in Nepal, there were series of political changes in Nepal. And in the revolutions or campaigns for restoration of democracy or for the republic, there has been a role of different political leaders and as many of the first-generation leaders are still in active politics, we can find direct or indirect influence of Gita philosophy in Nepalese politics. Though the later generations of leadership seem to have less knowledge about Gita, their activities and the political interests matched with the principles of Gita philosophy.

B. R. Ambedkar (1891–1956), the radical Indian anti-caste thinker, left unfinished a critical corpus of works on “Revolution and Counter-Revolution in Ancient India”, a fragment of which was provisionally titled “Essays on the Bhagavad Gita”. This essay engages with that corpus, situating Ambedkar's encounter with the Gita within a much broader twentieth-century political and philosophical concern with the question of tradition and violence. It interrogates the excessive and heterogeneous conceptual impulses that mediate Ambedkar's attempt to retrieve a counterhistory of Indian antiquity. Located as it is in the same Indic neighborhood from which a radical counterhistory of touchability might emerge, the Gita is a particularly fraternal and troubling text for Ambedkar. Yet his responsibility towards the Gita comes to be hinged not upon evasion but rather upon an exaggeration of its hermeneutic power; that is, upon his painstaking inflation of the Gita's willfully modern interest in instituting the universal. Ambedkar's relentless struggle to annihilate this universality of the Gita would have to be founded upon another universality, at once destructive, excessive and counterlegislative. In this unfinished attempt to recuperate the ideality of the universal, this essay asks, does Ambedkar himself become the most thorough modern practitioner of the Gita?

M. K. Gandhi's “Discourses on the Gita,” a series of talks delivered to ashramites at Sabarmati during 1926 and 1927, provides a singular instance in Indian intellectual thought in which the Bhagavad Gita's message of action is transformed into a theory of non-violent resistance. This essay argues that Gandhi's reading of the Gita has to be placed within an identifiable general understanding of the political that emerged among the so-called “extremists’ in the Congress towards the beginning of the twentieth century. Gandhi, we argue, wrested from the “Extremists” their vocabulary and their pre-eminent political text, the Gita, and put them to use in the cause of non-violent politics. But, more importantly, his discourses on the Gita after 1920 suggest an acceptance, on his part, of politics as it actually was. This is where he departed from the projects of Tilak or Aurobindo. The Gita, in Gandhi's hand, became a talismanic device that allowed the satyagrahi his or her involvement in political action while providing protection from the necessary and unavoidable venality of politics and its propensity to violence.

Buying and selling guitars is already popular among the general public, but guitar sales are still a lot by visiting music stores. This sales system is still a habit of people. With that, do a solution to solve the problem. The solution given is to create an e-commerce web application. By using this application is expected to simplify the sales system, data search, making it easier to create reports. This system is also equipped with item selection, so it can assist in guitar selection. Through the tests carried out, it is proven that the e-commerce web application can be used to record information about buying and selling transactions, stockpiling of goods, conducting broader promotions and marketing as well as making order transaction reports and inventory reports. The Waterfall System Development Method is used as a stage of making an application and UML (Unified Modeling Language) is used as a modeling design for the Guitar Online Sales Information System program. From the discussion and implementation of the system that has been carried out, several conclusions can be drawn, including as follows; This application can simplify the sales system at a guitar shop by providing shopping cart, search features and is equipped with a payment confirmation process as well as making it easier for the admin to record transaction reports.Keywords:Sales System, E-Commerce, Transactions.

Abstract:
Gambusu’ digolongkan sebagai alat musik petik berjenis dawai. Gambusu’ digunakan di pertunjukan Batti’-Batti’ di Kepulauan Selayar. Fenomena sekarang ini terdapat perubahan signifikan yang ditemukan pada bentuk instrumen gambusu’, yakni berbentuk gitar elektrik. Perubahan tersebut dianggap oleh masyarakat sebagai sesuatu yang bersifat tradisional karena spirit dari ke-tradisonalannya masih hadir, tetapi dalam bentuk fisik dan perilaku sudah dekulturasi. Bentuk instrument Gambusu’ model gitar elektrik tidak hadir begitu saja, hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh perubahan sosial masyarakat. Pada praktik yang terindikasi dekulturasi pada instrument Gambusu’ mulai berubah secara signifikan pada bentuk organologi serta di sisi lain kebiasaan-kebiasaan musikal mengalami perkembangan di mana teks lagunya sudah agak longgar yakni terdapat pencampuran bahasa daerah, bahasa Indonesia dan juga bahasa Inggris. Dengan demikian, kesenian ini tidak hanya dimainkan di tempat yang sakral seperti di acara pernikahan tetapi juga dilaksanakan di acara seremonial. Hal demikian terjadi karena diduga karena masuknya kebudayaan Barat, di mana anak muda di era itu kebanyakan menggunakan gitar elektrik yang sangat marak digunakan baik itu di acara pertunjukan seni dan festival seni musik yang berimplikasi pada praktik kesenian batti’-batti’. Atas dasar fenomena itu sehingga para pengrajin dan pemain musik Gambusu’ menginisasi gerakan untuk mentransformasikan bentuk Gambusu’ dengan model gitar elektrik yang akhirnya praktik tersebut sebagai praktik dekulturasi.

Bahan Ajar merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran, baik dalam pembelajaran teori maupun praktek. Bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran instrumen gitar persiapan terdiri dari tangga nada, etude dan lagu. Namun bahan ajar tersebut perlu dianalisis kembali untuk mengetahui kesesuaian bahan ajar dengan mahasiswa semester awal, bahan ajar yang diberikan ter-update dan sesuai dengan grade (tingkatan) pada pembelajaran gitar.Hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan pada bahan ajar gitar persiapan ternyata banyak materi yang ada pada bahan ajar kurang sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan mahasiswa, karena mahasiswa yang masih dikategorikan pada tingkat pemula. Tangga nada yang diberikan terlalu sedikit padahal tangga nada tersebut mendukung dalam permainan etude dan lagu, sedangkan etude dan lagu yang banyak yang sulit untuk dimainkan karena tingkatannya yang tidak sesuai dengan pemula. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya revisi bahan ajar agar mahasiswa dapat bermain gitar sesuai dengan tingkatannya (grade).

Abstract:
For over a decade, various Hindu organizations in Singapore have joined to celebrate an extraordinary series of events, called the Gita Jayanti. The term jayanti literally means "victory" or "victorious" but more usually indicates celebration of the birthday of a holy figure or a deity. Put simply, this is a birthday celebration for the Gita, a compact text that increasingly functions in the Hindu diaspora much like the Bible—a portable compendium of teachings, a deeply poetic source of individual comfort, a text to be memorized, chanted, studied. I know of no other Hindu text with such a birthday, nor had any of the people whom I interviewed about it encountered this celebration outside of Singapore. As part of the celebrations, the Gita undergoes a ritual that parallels the consecration of a deity for use in a temple. In this case the Gita takes on the body of Krishna who is understood to have spoken these holy words many centuries ago. In this sense the Bhagavad Gita, here treated as the Holy Book of contemporary Hinduism, is an iconic body of Krishna just as the bronze murti is also an iconic body—the ultimate iconicity.

Abstract:
This essay examines the significance of the Bhagavad Gita for V. D. Savarkar's interpretations of religion, nationalism, and the idea of Hindu India. As one of the intellectual founders of Hindu nationalism, Savarkar has emerged as the most controversial Indian political thinker of the last century, gaining notoriety for his program to ‘Hinduize Politics and Militarize Hindudom’, for his anti-Muslim and anti-Christian politics, and for his advocacy of violence in everyday life. By bringing together key selections from Savarkar's seminal historical writings, the essay also traces how Savarkar developed the concept of ethical warfare from the Gita for his political purposes of contesting colonial power and creating a Hindu nation. It also shows that Savarkar adopted history writing as his main literary form for his engagement with the Gita and its principles, thereby departing from the existing hermeneutical traditions of studying the Gita. For Savarkar, the creation of historical knowledge that embodied key ideas from the Gita was necessary for transforming the individual and the nation. He claimed that it ultimately motivated individuals to adopt violence for the creation of Hindu India.
