This study investigated the comprehensive characteristics of silver foil beads excavated from the Tomb of King Muryeong, based on composition analysis of the foil and glass and morphological characterization. The major element components of metal foil and glass were investigated using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an Energy Dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS). Trace elements were determined using LA-ICP-MS to constrain the source of the raw material. The morphological characteristics of the beads were recognized through an optical microscope. In this thesis, the classical field model developed by Krasnitz et al. is used to compute quark and photon production in heavy ion collisions. The first part of the thesis serves as an independent verification of previous results for quark production. In the second part, the expression giving the photon production rate is simplified using the symmetries and properties of the Color Glass Condensate and McLerran-Venugopalan models. From

It remained, however, such a convenient place to discard of what is cleverly called “clean fill”—referring mostly to broken up pieces of demolished urban buildings—that it continues as an active dumping site today, expanding ever further into the lake. In underwater photography, the object is immersed in water while the image is usually formed in air. The most obvious, straightforward way to form an image under these circumstances with a conventional type of lens is to use a plane parallel slab of glass as a window in front of the lens to separate the water from the air space. For most types of camera lenses, this is a perfectly adequate solution; But if one looks at the problem carefully, it is evident that such a system introduces a chromatic aberration referred to as lateral color.
