In this dissertation we lay the groundwork of automated analysis of extended feature models with constraint programming. Among different proposals, feature modeling has proven to be very effective for modeling and managing variability in Software Product Lines. Abstract:
Datasets found in real world applications of machine learning are often characterized by low-level attributes with important interactions among them. Such interactions may increase the complexity of the learning task by limiting the usefulness of the attributes to dispersed regions of the representation space. In such cases, we say that the attributes are locally relevant. To obtain adequate performance with locally relevant attributes, the learning algorithm must be able to analyse the interacting attributes simultaneously and fit an appropriate model for the type of interactions observed. International companies face many challenges when operating in foreign country markets, as a new environment could be absolutely opposite to the one of the home market, which the companies are used to. One of the biggest issues for a company in the foreign market is to understand how to market its product and make it more appealing to the audience. This research is aimed at studying content marketing strategy as a new trend and a part of marketing strategy of an organization. Particularly, the main focus of this research is to investigate the process of building content marketing strategy of W

Abstract:
Surveillance Video-based detection of outdoor smoke and fire has been a challenging task due to the chaotic variations of shapes, movement, colour, texture, and density. This thesis contributes to the advancement of the contemporary efforts of smoke and fire detection by proposing novel technical methods and their possible integration into a complete fire safety model. The novel contributions of this thesis include an efficient feature calculation method combining local and global texture properties, the development of deep learning-based models and a conceptual framework to incorporate weathe

Abstract:
Glacial runoff from the Tian Shan and Altai Mountains is an important water resource, especially for people living in the arid areas of Central Asia. Measured water volumes from glaciers have decreased, and glacier area have shrunk with 50-90% since the Little Ice Age. Lack of knowledge regarding glaciers in high mountain areas, and the impact from climate change makes this an important field to investigate. This thesis focuses on topographic features and their impact on spatial glaciation patterns; today and during the global last glacial maximum, 19-30 thousand years ago (ka). From selected

Abstract:
The role of national education systems is changing, and many drivers of this phenomenon have been identified (Green, 1997). On the one side, there is a growing convergence in global education policy developments given by globalisation processes, on the other side, a political and ideological discourse has spread that promotes education as essential to the achievement of a model of economic productivity and competitiveness (Ball, 2013). The current research aims to shed light not only on the degree to which national education policy in the last two decades have been influenced by this movement,
