Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to determine the purpose of worship based on John 12:1-12. The method used in this article is literary research or literature with a descriptive approach. As Christians the purpose of our worship is to glorify God's name, God-centered worship should be where God is glorified, regardless of the human factor. The purpose of worship is not only to receive blessings from God, but also to give offerings to God.

On 11 November 1796, only five days after the death of Catherine II, her son and successor Paul released a decree naming two of his villages, Pavlovsk and Gatchina, towns. In an odd way, given their fraught relationship, this act echoed his mother’s past practice. She founded several hundred new towns to serve as new administrative centers for her newly formed provinces. Abstract:

The image of the constitution in the form of a book is common in works of art, easily recognizable, has deep historical traditions, rich religious and cultural context. In terms of the purposes of the Constitution, three main groups are identified: works that glorify the Constitution, relatively neutral works and works aimed at depicting the shortcomings of the constitutional order, the content of the Constitution or the insufficient implementation of its provisions (cartoons). In terms of reflecting legal ideas, cartoons are most informative.

Abstract I argue that contemporary urban aesthetics in India reflect ideological and economic imperatives to revamp Indian cities in order to: a) redevelop the older parts of the city to match ›world-class‹ urban aspirations and b) glorify the Indian state’s policies, while undermining the developmental decades of post-Independence India. Change, or impending change, can often inspire the creation of myths, for it both threatens and promises. It threatens the security of the established, while providing hope to the disestablished. Change thus produces anxiety and discomfort on the one hand, euphoria and optimism on the other. Those in a position to be harmed by the change often create “negative” myths about the potential implications of that change; those not, glorify it.
