AbstractCEOs who develop strong clan values as a result of exposure to clan culture in early life wish to bring honor to their clan, motivating them to engage in increased CSR activities. We propose that the influence of CEOs' clan values on CSR is subject to contextual boundaries. Specifically, we predict that the positive relationship between CEOs' clan values and CSR results primarily in an improved level of institutional CSR and varies with CEOs' personal attributes such as overseas experience and hometown identity. An analysis of a longitudinal sample of Chinese publicly listed firms for

Government Science has not become a scientific discipline and has not become a perspective in reading phenomena in society with government theories. Where the basic function of government science is to enlighten the government, it must criticize the government, not to insult and deny it, but instead have the aim to glorify, prioritize and strengthen the government. To return the science of government to the ultimate goal of a sovereign people, it is necessary to critically review it from the perspective of decolonization, reconstitution and repolitization.

Writers with their migratory trajectories, impressions, longing, and memories are gathered in this unique anthology organized by Leonardo Senkman. The life and displacements of authors and works would imprint on the texts an inflection of "migritude," which, according to the organizer, is a neologism coined for a "kind of simultaneous and omnipresent circulatory circuit of their writings." This mark impresses, in the multiple testimonies gathered, the spirit and diasporic migrant voice that "evoke the homeland, glorify the mother tongue, and dream of the promised land.

Many abstract concepts in modern Turkic languages are borrowed from Arabic and Persian and have free use in the language system of the Turkic peoples. The use of some emotive lexical concepts that are absent in the Turkic languages, including Kazakh, can be traced in the texts of medieval written monuments. Emotive vocabulary is widely used in the fiction of the modern Kazakh language, and in colloquial speech. Since then, emotive lexical units have become the richest lexical means of language, firmly entrenched in our vocabulary. In this regard, this article in the XIII-XIV centuries examines

Suffering is an integral part of the status of a believer because the condition of following Christ is the Cross and leaving something, so suffering is the most important part of Christian teaching. Suffering is a fact that exists in every life in life without limits both believers and non-believers, but suffering for believers has a different meaning. The method used in this paper is a theological method with biblical theology studies. In I Peter 4: 13-29 the meaning of suffering for believers is explained, namely: first, as a test of faith to develop perseverance in the believer so that fait

Change, or impending change, can often inspire the creation of myths, for it both threatens and promises. It threatens the security of the established, while providing hope to the disestablished. Change thus produces anxiety and discomfort on the one hand, euphoria and optimism on the other. Those in a position to be harmed by the change often create “negative” myths about the potential implications of that change; those not, glorify it. To misquote Claude Levi-Strauss, myths are created to control the present, hence, by implication, also the future (Levi-Strauss 1979).

The church is a gathering place for believers to glorify God as a sign of gratitude for God's inclusion in this world. Therefore the Church must grow and unite, because the one who formed the early church was God himself. Therefore the church must be able to become a channel of blessings like God's mission as the salt and light of the world, the church is not a haven for people who do not know God but the church is a place where God's children receive the gift of blessings from God.

Despite the decolonization of the African territories during the second half of the 1970s, the colonial legacy continues to resonate in Portugal, shaping “organized forgetting” of colonial violence. Official ways of remembering the past glorify maritime expansion and redefine Portuguese colonialism based on its purportedly convivial character. Even with a growing number of voices advocating for a revision of the dominant narrative, it remains a strongly operative imaginary. Finding ways to dismantle the real effects of that historical legacy requires confronting such benign representations of
