Abstract:
Abstract Introduction There is growing evidence to support SACT 30-day mortality rate as a key metric for assessing quality of cancer care and a key indicator of avoidable harm to patients from SACT due therapy-related or poor patient selection factors. At the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a large district general hospital providing specialist care to over 600,000 people, we collated data from our in-house SACT dataset to assess factors that impact the 30-da

This chapter argues that John Trevisa’s major contribution to English literature was creating a vernacular supercompendium or megagenre. In creating a vernacular megagenre he made a claim for English as the source of all useful information and provided an intellectual and literary rationale for English prose. As the only game in Gloucestershire, and with the absence of a royal literary scene, Trevisa had the chance to do more than any one of Charles V’s French clerks: to create from scratch and nearly singlehandedly an oeuvre of English informational prose. This he accomplished in part through
