Abstract:
Introduction: Lymphedema is a specific type of edema that affects regions of the body in a chronic, progressive manner. Aim: The aim of the present study was to describe the therapeutic evolution of more than ten years of treatment for primary congenital lymphedema using the Godoy and Godoy method. Method: Ten children with primary congenital lymphedema with more than ten years of treatment at the Godoy Clinic were evaluated. Children with a clinical diagnosis of primary congenital lymphedema in treatment for more than 10 years with the Godoy Method. Cervical stimulation is the first treatment option of the method and is performed as monotherapy. The patients were reevaluated with weekly, bi-weekly and monthly frequencies and then every three months or when the family was able to return to the clinic. Results: For cases in which cervical stimulation was not possible, grosgrain stockings as monotherapy was the second therapeutic option. Conclusion: The Godoy and Godoy Method is effective at reducing edema in cases of primary congenital lymphedema, with the maintenance of the results throughout the treatment period.

Abstract:
The aim of the present study is to report the indirect evaluation of cervical stimulation considering the effect of the duration of the stimulus on the control of intraocular pressure in a patient with bilateral glaucoma with important ocular edema. A 47-year-old woman reported the onset of pain and bilateral tearing in the eyes at 35 years of age and was diagnosed with glaucoma. The patient began clinical treatment, but intraocular pressure remained 35 to 40 mmHg even with the use of four eye medications in the form of drops. The patient reported that her vision was always blurred despite the use of the eyedrops. The patient was submitted to the Godoy & Godoy method of cervical lymphatic therapy to reduce the edema. The ophthalmologist measured her intraocular pressure every two and three days. We found that the pressure was maintained below 20 mmHg when lymphatic therapy was performed every two days, but intraocular pressure increased and the vision became blurred when therapy was performed every three days. The Godoy & Godoy method of cervical lymphatic therapy constitutes a novel lymphatic system stimulation strategy that maintains its effect on intraocular pressure for approximately 48 hours, as demonstrated through an indirect evaluation.

Abstract:
Despite all efforts, this disease has been a major cause of mortality as well as sequelae after the infectious event. Issues regarding an effective form of treatment for the virus have led to efforts focused on the acute manifestations of the disease. The aim of the present study is to describe the first observational result of the treatment of a pulmonary sequela of COVID-19 with important symptomatic limitations. One month ago, the patient contracted COVID-19 and was treated clinically, but the case progressed with important respiratory and physical limitations. An increase occurred in the lymphedema and the patient sought treatment. She would waken at night with dyspnea and was unable to walk more than a few steps or climb stairs. Intensive treatment of the lymphedema was proposed using the Godoy Method®. The Godoy method for reversing fibrosis was useful in improving dyspnea in a short period of time in a patient with sequelae resulting from COVID-19.

Abstract:
The present research aimed to report the treatment of primary congenital lymphedema using the Godoy method with a 17-year follow-up period. A 2-month-old male patient with bilateral primary congenital lymphedema of the lower limbs was sent to the Clinica Godoy-Brazil for specialized treatment. The physical examination revealed bilateral lower limb edema affecting the feet and middle third of the legs. The patient was made to use hand-crafted stockings made of grosgrain fabric. When the child reached 10 years of age, mechanical lymphatic therapy was conducted. A considerable reduction in the edema was achieved but with periods of improvement and worsening. In the last 4 years of the 17 years of treatment, the limbs have remained within or near the range of normality. The present findings demonstrate that the Godoy method is effective in controlling edema in cases of primary congenital lymphedema. When the family has difficulties, others who take care of the child should get involved to ensure the treatment of this type of lymphedema.

Abstract:
Background: Lipedema is an adipose tissue disorder in women, with an abnormal fat deposition in lower limbs and occasionally upper limbs. The condition is characterized by pain, bruising, heaviness, and mobility impairment. Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the effects of a modified Complete Decongestive Therapy protocol using the Godoy Method in the postoperative period following lipedema surgery. Methods: In total, 293 participants who underwent liposuction for lipedema were studied. The postoperative physiotherapy protocol included Godoy cervical stimuli, Manual Lymphatic Drainage based on Godoy maneuvers, mechanical lymphatic drainage with RAGodoy®, compression with bandages, skin care, and therapeutic education. Results: This study found that the number of physiotherapy sessions significantly reduced pain (p = 0.000) and other complications (p = 0.007) and increased mobility (p = 0.003). The number of physiotherapy sessions showed significant differences in pain intensity at 90 days post-treatment (p = 0.000). In total, 47.24% of the participants became functionally independent on the third day of the physiotherapy intervention (p = 0.003). A total of 40.96% of the participants developed some complications, although a relationship between inadequate compression and the occurrence of complications was also found in 36.52% of patients. Conclusions: The success of surgical treatment for lipedema not only depends on the surgery itself but also on the proper management of the patient in the perioperative period to minimize complications and prevent recurrence. The Complete Decongestive Therapy protocol modified with the Godoy Method showed effects on pain reduction, mobility increase, edema reabsorption, and prevention of complications, consequently enhancing functionality and quality of life for patients undergoing lipedema surgery.

Abstract:
Lymphedema is a clinical condition in which an accumulation of macromolecules occurs in the interstitial space and an atypical evolution known as elephantiasis nostras verrucosa may occur. The objective of this study is to report on the clinical evolution and analysis of the progression of a 56-year-old patient with a diagnosis of primary bilateral stage II lymphoedema. With an atypical presentation of it, identified as elephantiasis nostra verrucosa. The patient had suffered from lymphoestatic edema since he was 10 years old, having previously received ineffective treatments until he arrived at the Clinica Godoy in Sao Jose de Rio Preto Brazil, where he underwent an intensive therapy procedure treatment model proposed by Godoy and Godoy; in which favorable results were obtained in a short period of time. Lymphedema is a chronic disease that is manageable but not curable. It is also difficult to be treated, especially if it has progressed to a late stage such as elephantiasis nostras verrucosa associated the continuous and repetitive infectious and inflammatory processes over time must have contributed to the evolution of the fibrotic pattern. Intensive treatment based on the Godoy method® is possible reduce in short period of time the volume and improve fibrosis and quality of life this patient.

Abstract:
Background. Lymphedema is a clinical condition resulting from the accumulation of macromolecules in the interstitial space with a consequent buildup of fluids. Aim. The objective of this study was to compare the therapeutic response to treatment that mobilizes fluids between primary and secondary lymphedemas. Method. Thirty-three patients with severe leg lymphedema who underwent intensive treatment for five consecutive days in 2013 and 2014 at the Clínica Godoy were evaluated in a prospective clinical trial. Diagnosis was based on the patient’s history and physical examination. Treatment consisted of eight hours/day of Mechanical Lymphatic Therapy using an electromechanical device (RAGodoy®) that performs plantar flexion and extension associated with 15 minutes of Cervical Lymphatic Therapy, a technique developed by Godoy and Godoy that involves stimulation in the cervical region and a grosgrain compression stocking alternated with elastic bandages. The unpaired t-test and Fisher’s exact test were used for statistical analysis with an alpha error of 5% (p value < 0.05) being considering acceptable. Secondary lymphedema was more prevalent in women (Fisher exact test p value < 0.01). Results. The age of patients with secondary lymphedema was greater than those with primary lymphedema (unpaired t-test: p value < 0.03). The mean volume losses were 64.62% and 48.35% for the patients with secondary and primary lymphedema, respectively (p value < 0.03). Conclusion. Women are more prevalent and older in the secondary lymphedema group. Volumetric reductions below the knee are faster with intensive treatment for secondary rather than for primary lymphedema.

A novel type of cell underwent identification between 2005 and 2008 and was denominated the “telocyte” in 2010. In 2012, transmission electron microscopy revealed the presence of telocytes in the dermis. The aim of the present study was to report important changes in immunostained CD34 cells following the treatment of lower limb lymphedema using a specific lymphatic therapy technique. A clinical trial involving the evaluation of changes in immunostained CD34 cells in the epidermis and dermis (10 randomly selected histological fields) of a patient before and after intensive treatment for clinical stage II lymphedema was conducted using the Godoy Method, which was adapted to the treatment of skin fibrosis. The evaluation involved the use of the Weibel multi-point morphometric method. Comparisons were performed using the t-test with a 95% significance level. An important increase in CD34 cells was found with redistribution occurring following treatment. The treatment of primary lymphedema of the lower limbs resulted in the clinical reversal of fibrosis and an increase in the number of immunomarked CD34 cells.

Abstract:
The aim of the present study was to report a case of congenital upper limb hypertrophy associated with lymphedema in a child. An eight-year-old girl presented with a history of right upper limb oedema since birth, which was more significant in the hand. Volumetry was performed, revealing 1,838 grams in the right arm and 1,483 grams in the left arm. Intensive treatment with the Godoy method® was proposed. Treatment involved five hours per day using the RAGodoy® device, 15 minutes of cervical lymphatic therapy, and three hours of manual lymphatic therapy per day. With treatment, the volume of the right arm was reduced to 1,663 grams (reduction of 205 grams). After treatment, hypertrophy of the limb was noticed, which had been aggravated by the lymphedema. Congenital hypertrophy of the upper limb is rare in children. Its association with lymphedema has not previously been reported in the literature and could cause diagnostic difficulties.

Abstract The State Park Mata dos Godoy has 42 identified bat species, among which 21 are frugivorous and belong to the Phyllostomidae family. Current study investigated the concentrations of carbohydrate, lipid and protein in fruits consumed by Artibeus lituratus, Carollia perspicillata and Sturnira lilium to understand their potential differentiated food preferences. The Sampling effort it was from April/2013 to March/2014. Animals captured in mist nets were identified in the field and maintained in cotton bags for 30 minutes to defecate. The diet was inferred from fecal samples analyzed in the laboratory, the fruits whose seeds were found in the feces had the determinations of the nutrients accomplished by centesimal composition method. Kruskal-Wallis test and Dunn's multiple comparison method verified the most abundant nutrients for each species of bat. Whereas Carollia perspicillata and Sturnira lilium feeds mainly in food with carbohydrates that provide them with more energy, the diet of Artibeus lituratus is richer in carbohydrates and lipids. Only fruits considered scarcely represent a complete nutrition for the three bat species, however, the complementarity with other food items such as leaves, pollen, and insects, can provide a complete nutrient diet for these animals.

Abstract:
Objective. The aim of the present study was to report the physiological stimulation of the synthesis of preelastic fibers in the dermis of a patient with fibrosis. Design. A clinical study was conducted involving the analysis of histological changes in preelastic fibers following treatment for stage II primary lymphedema for the clinical reversal of lymphedema and fibrosis. Setting. University Hospital of the São Jose do Rio Preto of School of Medicine in 2020. Participant was a 67-year-old male patient with late-onset primary lymphedema diagnosed 12 years earlier. Intervention is the lymphatic stimulation using the Godoy method adapted to the treatment of fibrosis. Main outcomes and measures are biopsies before and after treatment. Ten randomly selected histological fields were evaluated using the multipoint morphometric method. The values with this method are relative and expressed as percentages. Statistical analysis was performed with the t-test, considering a 95% significance level. Results. A visible, significant difference in the percentage of preelastic fibers was found between the preintervention and postintervention slides, which were confirmed by the microscopic evaluation and quantification (4.95 ± 0.64% and 14.70 ± 1.06%, respectively). Conclusion. The physiological stimulation of the lymphatic system using a specific method resulted in the clinical reduction of fibrosis, the return of the elasticity of the skin, and the stimulation of the synthesis of preelastic fibers.

Podoconiosis is a neglected tropical disease that causes a type of progressive, non-infectious tropical lymphedema. Aim: The aim is reported one case of the one woman that presented always having problems with allergies and “lumps” appeared on the hallux of the right foot; it resembled a callus, which never disappeared and increased in size. The physical exam revealed several hardened nodular lesions in both feet involving the soles. The patient was submitted to intensive treatment for lymphedema using the Godoy Method® for the lower limbs for five days. The nodules were hardened and constant from the beginning. However, intensive treatment led to a reduction in the volume of the lesions, enabling better plantar flexion and extension as well as a gain in ambulation. However, the characteristics of the evolution of the condition, symptoms and the occurrence of nodules on velvety skin with a mossy kept appearance because are characteristics of podoconiosis. Podoconiosis may have other causes beyond those reported in literature, likely related to the exposure of the limb and associated immunological abnormalities.

Abstract:
Background: Fibrotic diseases pose a problem for overall health due to their chronic, progressive nature; the lack of a cure; and the fact that such conditions are largely refractory to current medical and surgical treatment practices. Objective: The aim of the present study was to report the physiological stimulation of synthesis and lysis of extracellular matrix proteins during the treatment of primary lymphedema. Material and Methods: A clinical trial was conducted involving the analysis of changes in type I and III collagen fibers and elastic fibers as well as the thickness of the epidermis and dermis in 10 histological fields. Samples were taken from the skin before and after intensive treatment using the Godoy Method® and adapted to the treatment of fibrosis in a patient with a clinical diagnosis of lower limb lymphedema. Slides were stained with orcein, hematoxylin and eosin, picrosirius red, and Gomori’s reticulin stains. Weibel’s multipoint method was used for the morphometric evaluation. The data were compared using the t-test with a 95% confidence interval. Results: Significant changes were detected in all aspects of interest (thickness of the epidermis and dermis, type I and III collagen fibers, and elastic fibers). Conclusion: The present findings demonstrate the physiological stimulation of synthesis and lysis of the main components of an extracellular matrix, such as type I and III collagen fibers and elastic fibers, as well as a reduction in the thickness of the epidermis and dermis in cases of fibrosis through adequate stimulation of the lymphatic system.

Abstract:
It is possible to notice a relevant complexity of the strategy theme if we link it to another one: competencies. Can professionals who work within the Human Resources (HR) area, central professionals for being considered agents of change, be seen more than professionals in a support area? Based on this questioning, this research, in which the goal was to identify which competencies of the professionals who work in the HR sector can take them to a strategic profile going beyond professionals from a simple area of support, was carried out. In order to do so, we used a theoretical foundation based on Villas Boas and Andrade (2009) and Godoy (2008), who move through ideas about competencies, and also Andrade and Amboni (2011), that deal with the topic of competitive advantage and its relationship with business strategy. As a research method, the word evocation test, presented by Vergara (2008) as a methodology, was used, in which 100 individuals, later divided into two groups, in which 50 were professionals working directly in the area of HR (profile 1) and 50 others were managers of related areas (profile 2), participated. In result, it was possible to identify that there is, in the foreground, a greater need for clarity on the strategy theme and a clear definition of the organizational culture of the organizational areas, so that, in the background, individual competencies can be transformed into organizational competences, multiplying the competitive advantage of the companies.

Abstract:
Background. Hallermann–Streiff syndrome (HSS) is a rare congenital abnormality involving multiple craniofacial malformations, such as micrognathia, prominent frontal and nasal bones, vision defects, and dental anomalies, which can result in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. The aim of the present study was to report a case of nasal obstruction in an individual with Hallermann–Streiff syndrome who had never breathed through the nose during treatment for lower limb lymphedema involving cervical lymphatic therapy. Case Report. An 18-year-old female adolescent with a diagnosis of HSS was sent from the genetics service of a teaching school for the treatment of lower limb lymphedema. At around 11 years of age, the patient began to present edema in the left leg, accompanied by broadening of the face and neck. The patient reported having obstructed nostrils and breathing through the mouth her entire life. On the second day of treatment, the patient reported being able to breathe through one of the nostrils, this had never occurred before. Based on this finding, the decision was made to include linear facial lymphatic drainage using the Godoy method, which led to the complete resolution of the nasal obstruction in the first 15 minutes of treatment. Nasal obstruction in children with Hallermann–Streiff syndrome may be caused by lymphedema. Conclusion. A specific lymphatic drainage technique, such as cervical lymphatic therapy and facial linear lymphatic therapy, can resolve the obstruction and maintain the nostrils unblocked for months.

Abstract:
Objective. The aim of the present study is to report on the reduction of edema of lymphedematous arms just by treating the lower limbs. Methods. A 16-year-old girl reported that she has started having right lower limb edema at the age of three. At age 13, she performed a lymphoscintigraphy that confirmed the diagnosis of primary lymphedema of the four limbs. Recently she sought treatment at the Clínica Godoy in São Jose do Rio Preto where she was submitted to intensive treatment for eight hours per day for five days using manual (Godoy & Godoy technique) and mechanical lymphatic therapy (RA Godoy®) of the lower limbs, cervical lymphatic therapy (cervical stimulation), and the continuous use of a grosgrain stocking. Results. At the end of treatment, reductions in the sizes of both arms and legs were noted even without the use of any specific therapy for the arms. After four years, the size of the arms was normal. Conclusion. Treatment of lymphedema of the legs has systemic repercussions that may lead to the reduction in swelling of other untreated regions of the body.

Abstract:
This article presents a study of graphic object generation methods in the Godot game engine using parallel computing. The main focus is on the efficient use of computational resources to improve the performance of graphic content generation in dynamic game environments. The research conducted a detailed analysis of four main categories of graphic object generation algorithms actively used in the Godot Engine ecosystem: noise-based algorithms (Perlin, OpenSimplex), which are used to create natural landscapes and textures; cellular automata, which allow modeling organic structures; Wave Function Collapse (WFC), which is used to generate structured levels with connection rules; and L-systems, which are effectively used to generate fractal structures, particularly vegetation. For each type of algorithm, the potential for parallelization and factors limiting their efficiency on multi-core systems were determined. The problem identified during the analysis is the presence of a significant proportion of sequential computations in generation algorithms, which, according to Amdahl's Law, substantially limits the maximum possible speedup even when increasing the number of computational cores. A mathematical model is proposed for estimating potential speedup in the context of graphic object generation, allowing more accurate prediction of the performance of different algorithms on multi-core systems. As part of the research, an innovative optimization approach was developed, based on the chunk generation method, where graphic objects are divided into spatially localized elements with minimal inter-element dependencies. The key feature of the proposed approach is asynchronous chunk generation and localization of coordinate calculations, which significantly reduces the proportion of sequential operations and, consequently, greatly increases the potential speedup according to Amdahl's Law. For an objective evaluation of the developed method's effectiveness, a series of experiments was conducted, including benchmarking on different types of graphic objects using the built-in Godot Engine tools. The measurement methodology was based on decomposing the algorithm into logical phases and analyzing changes in execution time with a gradual increase in the number of threads. The experimental results demonstrated a significant reduction in the proportion of sequential computations for all types of graphic objects when applying the chunk approach, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed method. The research results have practical significance for optimizing game development based on the Godot Engine and can be adapted for other visualization systems with similar architecture.

Abstract:
Abstract Penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC) is approximately three times more prevalent in Puerto Rico when compared to other ethnic groups in the United States. Moreover, the mortality rate for PSCC among Puerto Rican men is significantly higher when compared to the US population. Infection with human papillomavirus (HPV) has been identified as a risk factor for an average of 48% of PSCC cases in Puerto Rico. The molecular etiology of HPV+ and HPV- PSCC remains poorly understood. To date, the role of the microbiota in the pathogenesis of PSCC is unknown, as there are no studies that characterize the microbiome in association with penile cancer. Furthermore, the role of DNA methylation, which is an epigenetic alteration that can be found in cancer cells that can lead to changes in gene expression and cellular function, is also unknown. Therefore, there is an urgent need to address this knowledge gap. This study aims to analyze the DNA methylation patterns and bacterial communities in HPV-positive and HPV-negative PSCC tissues from Puerto Rican men. DNA was extracted from twenty-one fresh PSCC tissue samples from Puerto Rican patients. HPV status and genotyping were determined using the DNA ELISA kit HPV SPF10 protocol. DNA methylation assay was performed using the Infinium Methylation EPIC v2.0 BeadChip Kit to identify and compare average DNA methylation levels (%) in 7 HPV-positive and 14 HPV-negative penile cancer samples. Microbiota analyses were performed using 16S rRNA genes with the Illumina MiSeq platform. Demultiplexed data was deposited in QIITA for quality control and bioinformatic analyses and downstream analyses were done in R and Qiime2. Our results demonstrated that 45 loci methylation patterns were significantly different between HPV-positive and HPV-negative samples, with an adjusted p-value <0.1 (Benjamini-Hochberg method). Three loci methylation patterns were significantly affected by species diversity and richness. The abundance of Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Fusobacteria, and Actinobacteria was individually associated with number of affected loci (27, 19, 12, 6, and 3, respectively). We found that HPV status is associated with methylation patterns and microbiome in PSCC in Puerto Rican men. Both changes may be involved in triggering inflammatory responses and oncogenesis. Although many challenges must be overcome to dissect the specific interactions of coinfecting bacteria and methylation patterns during the penile cancer infectious process, our findings demonstrate that microbes may be involved in these cellular processes. Abstract:
Abstract Background Crohn’s disease (CD) is a chronic, relapsing, destructive, and inflammatory disease with penetrating, stricturing, or just inflammatory behavior that might affect the gastrointestinal tract or present with extraintestinal manifestations. Perianal fistulizing CD remains a challenging condition, with anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha (Anti-TNF) being the preferred, and effective therapy in the majority of cases. Purpose Ustekinumab (UST) is in off-label use for refractory CD in children especially those who don’t show a response to anti-TNF. However, data on safety and efficacy in children is limited. Method Our patient is 15-year-old girl, started to have a recurrent perianal and labial abscess at age of 11 yr. Despite having a normal upper and lower colonoscopy in the first place, pathology examination showed mild regenerative glandular alterations in the rectum. However, she continued to have recurrent peri-anal and vulval abscesses, in November 2016, April 2017, June 2017, and February 2018, which required multiple incision, drainage, fistulotomy as well as antibiotics therapy. Further evaluation revealed an isolated perianal Crohn’s disease for which she was commenced to Adalimumab, and despite optimal dosing, she continued to have an active disease with partial response evidenced by biochemical and radiological findings. The decision was made to shift from Adalimumab to weight-based UST doses based on the promising results in adult CD. Result(s) Our patient was followed frequently to ensure good therapeutic drug level, inflammatory markers improved from the maximum during her active disease till the last readings (56 weeks after starting UST), ESR (2-34 mm/hr) of 46 to 15 and CRP (1.0-1.7) of 21 to 0.2. Albumin and fecal calprotectin remain within normal range throughout her disease course. Repeated MRI showed Interval resolution of ischiorectal/ischioanal collection, almost complete resolution of transsphincteric fistulous tract while another intersphincteric fistula remained unchanged. Nonetheless, our patient reported a significant improvement in her perianal pain and weight gain of 6 kg during the interval assessment at 56 weeks of therapy. Conclusion(s) UST therapy shows a modest response in treating perianal CD in adult population, Godoy et al reported 59.3% of their cohort showed symptomatic improvement in fistula drainage and discomfort at 6 months follow-up. While at 12 months all patients had a symptomatic response with 22.2% achieving symptomatic remission. Moreover, a systematic review included a total of 774 patients with active perianal disease received UST, and 71 received placebo. At 12 months, 152 patients had a follow-up, out of which 85 (53.9%) achieved response, and 44 out of 105 (41.9%) achieved remission. Kim et al reported 13 pediatric patients treated with UST, 8 (38.5%) of which achieved PCDAI reemission. The safety and efficacy of UST use in pediatrics remain an area to improve by conducting large, prospective, randomized, and controlled trials. Abstract:
Non-gray gas radiation analysis and comparison are conducted by combining a ray tracing method and two statistical narrow band (SNB) spectral models, namely the Goody SNB model and the Malkmus SNB model. In this paper, gas radiation in real gas containing H2O, H2O / N2, or H2O / CO2 / N2 mixtures at 1 atm in planar plates was studied. Comparisons between these models are performed using the latest narrow-band database. The present computations are validated by reproduc- ing the published results in the literature. The radiative source term, the wall fluxes, the narrow-band radiation intensities along a line-of-sight and the computing time are all compared. From the comparisons, it is found that the Malkmus SNB model is somewhat superior to the Goody SNB model and the former is preferred in engineering application.

Abstract:
In the article, we explore the issue of moral crisis in the light of Beckett's absurdist drama Waiting for Godot. The aim of our research is to prove that fictional works have a specific socio-political function, since we can educate individuals, citizens and people who see, think and act.We chose the sociological, structuralist, cultural-historical behaviorist methods as our research method. Our choice of topic is not accidental. Although the aforementioned work was written between 1947 and 1948 and staged in 1953, the human, moral, and social problems expressed in it are still relevant today. In today's devalued society, it is particularly important to draw attention to the fundamental problems as the future of humanity depends on their possible solution. Among them is the question of religion. We know and experience that the changed worldview of our time is closely related to our distancing from religious values and their teachings, and even in their denial. We can also experience the consequences of this in our everyday lives. We are thinking here, i.a.,of the family's functional crisis, its reinterpretation, its reevaluation, the ever-increasing individual and community aggressiveness, isolation, and the individual and social inability of man to live in general.Since the control of all processes starts at the foundations, we consider it important that the human, social and political, etc. possibilities of the work of fiction are used in public education to the maximum extent. The basic condition for this is the proper transmission and analysis of the work of art. With this article, we also present a method of text transmission, which, based on our pedagogical experience, helps those participating in public education not only to discover the value of reading, but also to commit to and apply text-mediated teaching.

Abstract:
Abstract Human papillomavirus (HPV) accounts for over 80% of anal cancer cases. In the effort to prevent HPV-related cancers, the 9-valent HPV vaccine emerged as a crucial intervention, targeting HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58; the previous 4-valent (types 6,11,16,18) and 2-valent (types 16, 18). This study involved 213 women aged 21-50 attending gynecology and colonoscopy clinics in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The study assessed anal HPV prevalence and analyzed vaccination status-related differences. Anal swabs were collected for HPV testing using the ATILA AmpFire, targeting 17 HPV types. This method identified 15 high-risk HPV types (16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 59, 66, and 68) and two low-risk HPV types (6 and 11). Prevalence of any HPV, HR-HPV, and LR-HPV, and of specific HPV types were calculated by overall and vaccination status. Differences were assessed for statistical significance (p<0.05) using Fisher's exact or Pearson χ2 test. The mean age of women was 36.0 ± 5.9 years. Overall, 19.7% (n=44) had received the HPV vaccine; among them, 52.2% (n=23) had received the 4-valent vaccine, 2.3% had received the 2-valent vaccine, 2.3% had received the 9-valent vaccine, and 43.2% were uncertain about their specific HPV vaccine type. The prevalence of anal HPV infection was 68.5% for any HPV, 61.5% for HR-HPV, and 15.0% for LR-HPV. The most prevalent HR-HPV types were HPV 56 (13.2%), HPV 68 (11.7%), and HPV 66 (11.2%). There were no statistically significant differences in the prevalence of any HPV, HR-HPV, and LR-HPV between vaccinated and unvaccinated women. The most common HR-HPV type among vaccinated were HPV 66 (20.5%), HPV 31 (18.2%), HPV 56 (15.9%), while the most common among unvaccinated women were HPV 56 (12.4%), HPV 68 (12.4%), and HPV 16 (12.4%). Additionally, when evaluating as a grouped variable, the HPV genotypes covered by the 4-valent, unvaccinated women had a significantly higher prevalence of these types as compared to those vaccinated (28.9% vs. 13.6%, respectively, p-value =.03). The unvaccinated women showed a lower prevalence for HPV types covered by the 9-valent vaccine compared to the vaccinated cohort (43.2% vs. 45.5%). However, this difference was not statistically significant. We found a high prevalence of anal HPV among these women, with lower prevalence of 4-valent and 2-valent HPV types among vaccinated women, evidencing the pivotal role of HPV vaccination. Future research should assess the 9-valent vaccine's long-term effectiveness against more HPV types. Abstract:
In the gaming industry, the main challenge faced is the complexity of combining information technology science and film-animation art. These technical and artistic gaps often slow down the production process and reduce the amount of output that can be achieved. This research aims to identify simpler and cheaper alternative production methods to increase the quantity of game production without sacrificing quality. To achieve this goal, a series of hands-on game creation experiments were carried out by researcher. This method is expected to provide an idea of game engine easiness and how helpful a community when the researcher encounter difficulties in making games. The results of this research show that the use of Godot in game production has a significant impact on production efficiency. This more efficient process has the potential to increase the amount of game production in Indonesia, providing opportunities for the local games industry to develop and compete in the global market. Thus, this research not only contributes to academic knowledge, but also has significant practical implications for the gaming industry. This discovery is expected to encourage more innovation and aesthetics in the application of artificial intelligence in various aspects of game production. Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the act of slavery that happened in Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot. The characters that are involved are Pozzo as the master and Lucky as his slave. By analyzing how Pozzo oppresses Lucky, it reflects the act of slavery that also happened in reality in the 20th century when the story was written. This study is a qualitative descriptive method using the sociology of literature approach to reveal the connection between the situations in the play with the situations of the world in the 20th century. The data of this research are collected from the utterances and dialogues of the characters in the text play Waiting for Godot. The result showed that the act of slavery acted by Pozzo and Lucky also happened in the 20th century before, during, and after World War II in the 1940s. An upper-class society would enslave and oppress a lower-class society at the time because they had power and money.

Abstract:
Abstract Breast cancer (BC) is the most frequent neoplasia affecting women worldwide normally detected at early stages. In this regard, early diagnosis drastically decreases mortality, however, around 20% of these patients will later relapse. This is mainly caused by undetectable molecular residual disease (MRD) not eliminated by standard primary treatments. Therefore, it is crucial to detect the after-treatment MRD to stratify the patients by their risk of relapse. Liquid biopsies have emerged as non-invasive method to obtain information about tumors and improve clinical cancer management. Regarding this, much has been hypothesized about utilizing high blood volumes to overcome the necessity of complex and resource-intensive next generation sequencing (NGS) methodologies to detect highly diluted blood tumor components in localized cancers. Herein, we employed a combined analysis of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and circulating tumor cells (CTCs) together with high blood volumes and single-assay droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) to detect MRD with ultra-high sensitivity. We prospectively assayed 124 samples extracted at baseline, post-neoadjuvant therapy (NAT), post-surgery and a follow-up on a six-monthly basis. A median of 76.40 mL of blood to detect CTCs and 40 mL of plasma to detect ctDNA per patient from 19 BC women were used in this study. ddPCR assays were performed with a median of 14 partitions per determination to detect ctDNA and 12 partitions for CTCs. Overall, ctDNA, CTCs and ctDNA and/or CTCs were detected in 84.21%, 66.66% and 89.47% respectively in the pre-treatment blood samples. MRD (ctDNA and/or CTCs) was detected in 73.68% of the after NAT blood samples. On the other hand, it was detected in 46.66% and 70.00% of the post-surgery and follow-up samples respectively. Post-NAT MRD was detected in 57.14% (4/7) and 83.33% (10/12) of patients with and without pathological complete response pCR respectively. To note, the discordant patients achieving pCR in tissue with detectable MRD in blood were high-risk BC. Importantly, in one of the two patients without pCR and no MRD detected, not enough sample were available to complete the analysis. The other discordant patient presented a localized disease with residual cancer burden value of 1 and no lymph nodes affected. In 1 out of 19 (5.26%) patient clinically relapsed with a positive MRD detection 6 months earlier. Applying this methodology, we observed a sensitivity of 0.004% in ctDNA detection and 0.224 CTCs per mL of blood. Overall, this novel methodology greatly improves sensitivity for ctDNA and CTCs detection in treatment-naïve early BC. In addition, MRD was successfully detected in post-treatment samples antedating clinical relapse by 6 months in one patient. This prospective study is potentially demonstrating that using high blood volumes and a single-assay ddPCR is a cost-effective strategy to monitor localized BC and predict relapses. Abstract:
This paper conducts an in-depth study on "intercultural" drama adaptation in the context of globalization, taking the version of "Waiting for Godot" presented at the 2023 Wuzhen Theatre Festival as a case study. It explores how to make innovative and profound intercultural adaptations while retaining the spiritual core of the original work. The article proposes and applies analytical perspectives such as "form and physicality, "emphasizing the importance of preserving the "core" meaning of the original work during the adaptation process. This paper employs field research methods for on-site study, observing and analyzing "Waiting for Godot" performed at the Wuzhen Theatre Festival, and proposing various intercultural adaptation methods. Additionally, this article conducted audience surveys to gather feedback from the viewers' perspective, making the research more comprehensive and in-depth. The innovation of this paper lies in the first-time application of field research methods to the study of drama adaptation, obtaining data from actual performances and audience feedback, which makes the research findings more realistic and practically valuable. Moreover, our proposed concept of preserving the "core" of drama provides a new theoretical perspective and practical direction for future drama adaptation research.

Abstract:
Lady Joan Barrington, a puritan matriarch esteemed among the godly as a “lady elect,” experienced a profound spiritual crisis in 1628. She felt anxiety and melancholy over the prospects for her own salvation after the death of her husband Francis. Among those attempting to provide her comfort and counsel was the puritan divine Ezekiel Rogers, her former chaplain. Holding a Barrington living in Yorkshire, Rogers wrote regularly to his benefactress and friend in Essex. In years past he had sought the benefit of her counsel and prayers. Now, in February 1630, he advised Lady Barrington to consult not only her minister but also “the society of God's saints.” He warned against her tendency to keep to herself: among her neighbors were “such as coulde helpe…by telling what God had done for their soules.” This refrain—the importance of mutual help and edification among the godly—Rogers repeated in subsequent correspondence. In January 1632, he suggested various methods to reach understanding and assurance, including the telling postscript: “I much advise you to seeke helpe by the communion of the saintes.”Ezekiel Rogers was recommending a practice common among the godly. Laity often turned to one another for mutual support, spiritual advice, and constructive criticism in order to cope with the great burdens imposed by the obligation of godliness and the desire for assurance. Owen Watkins identifies such “mutual exhortation” as one of the features of the puritan way of life.
