ZusammenfassungDie Stiftung 2° ist eine Initiative von Vorstandsvorsitzenden, Geschäftsführern und Familienunternehmern mit Sitz in Berlin. Ziel ist es, die Politik zur Etablierung effektiver marktwirtschaftlicher Rahmenbedingungen für den Klimaschutz aufzufordern und die Lösungskompetenz deutscher Unternehmen zu unterstützen. Benannt ist die Stiftung nach ihrem wichtigsten Ziel: die durchschnittliche globale Erderwärmung auf deutlich unter zwei Grad Celsius zu beschränken. The Goldbach Conjecture remains one of the several unsolved mathematical problems today, along with the Twin Prime Conjecture. It is said to be one of the simplest mathematical problems to state yet the most difficult to prove. In this paper, the author explores a few even numbers about the problem, and, using them as his sample size, juxtaposes his ideas with those of others through literature review. The author explores a solution to the Goldbach conjecture which was put forward about 275 years ago, by a German mathematician, Christian Goldbach, who was a contemporary of the genius German mathematician, Leonhard Euler. Euler in a letter to Goldbach, had confessed at the time that unfortunately, he (Euler) could not prove Goldbach’s mathematical poser. Through fundamental analysis and critical thinking, this author attempts to share his thoughts on how to resolve this long-standing mathematical debacle. The methodology used is basic, experimental, and exploratory, with the use of inferences through recognition of number patterns. We hope that this paper will make a small contribution to the discourse on Goldbach’s conjecture, whose solution has eluded mathematicians for about 275 years.

The variable “actors” records individuals or collectives, who appear as a source for assertions of facts and evaluations and whose actions, interests or demands are addressed in an article (Hillebrand, 2005). In the case of media self-coverage, and especially when dealing with media policy issues, media organizations themselves might be affected by them. Hence, media organizations may strategically use their privileged access to the public to promote their own interests, for example by selecting actors and positions that will be publicly heard. Several studies have found a predominance of “opportune actors” and experts representing a position that supports media organization’s own interests (Kemner, Scherer, & Weinacht, 2008; Lichtenstein, 2011; Maier & Dogruel, 2016). The debate on the equality of living conditions is on the agenda not only in Germany but throughout Europe. Thematic and/or functional aspects such as centre-periphery models, demographic change, consequences of digitisation, financing aspects, innovation aspects, regional funding - Europe of the Regions, regional funds, always also raise to the structural question of how to maintain the efficiency of public administration in all regions of Europe and Germany. What challenges for the design and performance of public administration and services of general interest arise in the context of increasing social, economic and spatial segregation, and what practical answers are possible, was the topic of the 3rd conference of the Practice and Research Network of German Universities for the Public Sector, which took place on 6 and 7 February 2020 at the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück. The anthology presents contributions by 35 authors on the topics "European Dimension", "Territorial, technical and social innovations" and "People and work".
