Abstract:

OS ESTUDOS literários de Lucien Goldmann conheceram duas fases distintas. Na primeira, apoiando-se principalmente nas contribuições do jovem Lukács (A alma e as formas e Teoria do romance), Goldmann buscou estabelecer uma homologia entre a forma romanesca e a vida social e, ainda, recorrendo à História e consciência de classe, procurou dar um tratamento historicista e dialético àqueles textos juvenis do pensador húngaro, ao interpretar a literatura como expressão articulada das "visões do mundo" das diversas classes e grupos sociais. Numa segunda fase, marcada pelo pessimismo e pela influência das idéias estruturalistas, então em voga, os ensaios goldmannianos afastaram-se da busca de mediações entre a obra e a vida social. Surpreendido pelo vendaval de 1968, Goldmann empreendeu um movimento autocrítico, interrompido pela morte prematura em 1970.

Résumé L'auteur commence par montrer l'importance de l'œuvre de Lucien Goldmann pour situer le phénomène de la création artistique à l'intérieur de la totalité des comportements humains. Il souligne l'originalité des hypothèses goldmanniennes quant au rôle et à la fonction de l'œuvre littéraire comme élément actif pour la constitution d'une conscience collective. Dans un deuxième temps l'auteur illustre la pertinence du structuralisme génétique par une analyse schématique de l'œuvre du romancier québécois Roger Lemelin. Enfin il montre comment les travaux d'une autre sociologie de la littérature (celle de Robert Escarpit) développée à partir de recherches sur la production, la diffusion et la consommation du livre rejoignent ceux de Lucien Goldmann dans l'élaboration d'une théorie dynamique et globale de la littérature.

Résumé À partir des principales œuvres de Lucien Goldmann, décédé en octobre 1970 à Paris, Gilbert Tarrab tente dans cet article de montrer l'importante contribution de cet auteur prolifique en matière de sociologie de la littérature et du théâtre. Goldmann a en effet introduit le premier les concepts - qu'il a essayé sa vie durant de rendre opératoires - de " catégorie mentale ", de " cohérence interne d'une œuvre ", de " vision du monde ", de " structure génétique ", notamment. Tous ses écrits tentent en vérité de trouver la structure englobante (sociologique et historique à la fois) dans laquelle seraient insérées les structures internes de l'œuvre étudiée, dans une époque sociale déterminée. Ses analyses procèdent de deux mouvements primordiaux : comprendre l'œuvre (examiner ses structures internes) et l'expliquer (comment l'œuvre s'insère dans la structure socio-économique globalisante). C'est cette dialectique et cette logique que l'auteur de cet article a voulu dégager avec le plus de clarté possible.

Abstract:

Article clarified structure, global view of social class, and social structure function as the background of Orang-orang Proyek, a novel by Ahmad Tohari. Research applied analytic and dialectic descriptive method. Analysis was done by applying Genetic Structuralism theory by Lucien Goldmann to see the meaning of the novel by relating the structure of the novel with the human facts (social structure) as a background of the novel. The research results indicate that the novel structure described some oppositions, those are cultural, natural, social, and human oppositions; the novel’s structure expresses a global views, those are ideal-humanist and social-religious; when the novel was written, there were some corruption cases in the social structure in Indonesia that was adopted in the novel. Therefore, there seems a correlation between the novel structure and the social structure.

ABSTRAK Realitas sosial tidak hanya terjadi di dunia nyata, tetapi juga tergambar dalam karya sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui realitas sosial dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori dan mengetahui pandangan dunia pengarang dalam novel mengenai realitas sosial yang dikaji melalui analisis strukturalisme genetik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode dialektik dari Lucien Goldmann. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan realitas sosial dalam novel melalui hubungan antartokoh dalam novel serta hubungan tokoh dengan objek yang ada di sekitarnya. Selain itu, terdapat fakta yang berkait dengan realitas sosial dalam novel. Pandangan dunia yang ditemukan dalam novel tersebut yaitu, pengarang menentang keotoriteran rezim Orde Baru yang sewenang-wenang, mengecam penghilangan paksa dan mendukung HAM, serta mengkritik pemerintah yang lambat dalam menyelesaikan kasus hilangnya aktivis. Kata kunci: realitas, sosial, strukturalisme genetik, Laut Bercerita ABSTRACT Social reality does not only occur in the real world, but also illustrated in literature. This study aims to determine the social reality in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori and find out the world view of the author in the novel regarding the social reality studied through analysis of genetic structuralism. This study uses a qualitative approach with the dialectical method of Lucien Goldmann. From the results of the study, found social reality in the novel through interpersonal relationships in the novel and the relationship of characters to the objects around them. In addition, there are facts that relate to social reality in the novel. The world view found in the novel, namely, the author opposed the arbitrary authorization of the New Order regime, condemned enforced disappearances and supported human rights, and criticized the government which was slow in resolving cases of activist disappearances. Abstract This article is a response by the author to the contributions to the Historical Materialism symposium on Allegory and Ideology. The reply is framed in terms of the different theoretical strategies through which the articulation of ‘Marx’ and ‘Freud’ has been carried out, namely the precarious syntheses of Freudo-Marxism, the homological method pioneered by Lucien Goldmann, and the theory of allegorical levels and transcoding explored in Allegory and Ideology. It critically engages with the openings and challenges posed by the various contributions to the symposium, focusing in particular on matters of periodisation, and concluding with a reflection on how a theory of allegorical levels can be complemented by a materialist understanding of the ‘category’.

Abstract:

This research aims to know and understand more deeply about mystical values and transformative pedagogic values in the Syaikh Siti Jenar novel written by Agus Sunyoto. The focus of this study was the intrinsic and extrinsic structure of meaning in the novel. The method applied in this study is content analysis using genetic structure by Lucien Goldmann. The results of the study show a number of sufistic values and transformative pedagogic values. Sufistic values include: repentance, ascetic, indigent, patience, gratitude, pleasure, and trust. While the transformative pedagogic values include altruism, egalitarian, pluralism, and eclectic. The findings of the author's world view includes figures deconstruction of the teachings of Syaikh Siti Jenar, cultural missionary endeavor, the concept of superhuman, mystical literature, and literary history.

Entre os méritos de Daniel Bensaid, destaca-se o fato de ter introduzido no léxico marxista um novo conceito: bifurcação. Rosa Luxemburgo já havia comentado, na Brochura de Junius de 1915, de socialismo ou barbárie. Mas a abordagem da Bensaid vai além. Sua releitura de Marx, à luz de Blanqui, Benjamin e Charles Péguy, levou-o a conceber a história como uma série de entroncamentos e bifurcações, um campo de possíveis em que a luta de classes ocupa um lugar decisivo, mas cujo resultado é imprevisível. Refratária ao desdobramento causal dos fatos ordinários, a revolução é uma interrupção. Ela não é garantida pelas “leis da história” e deve ser objeto de uma aposta, no sentido pascaliano, revisada e corrigida pelo marxista Lucien Goldmann, ele próprio revisado e corrigido pelo marxista Daniel Bensaïd.

Abstract:

The possibility of relating Paulo Freire’s pedagogical theory, especially his work Pedagogy of the oppressed, with Liberation Theology in Latin America, from the category of social worldview, as a concept of a certain tradition of Marxism that runs from Lucien Goldmann to Michael Löwy, is studied. In this proposal, understanding Christian liberation, not only as a social movement but also as a bearer of a given social worldview, allowed to understand Paulo Freire’s work as part of a social group that constitutes a complete and coherent significant totality, with explicit characteristics. The approach of this study had an interdisciplinary character, which associated Philosophy of Education, Sociology and Religious Studies. Inspired by the methodology of the Sociology of Knowledge, it is proposed that Freire’s biography only confirms some elements of his shared ethical-critical options, which can be deepened with subversive potential.

Abstract:

Novel Pacarku Wanita Kuyang mengangkat mitos kuyang dari Kalimantan. Novel ini menceritakan kehidupan tragis Era (tokoh utama) yang harus mewarisi ilmu hitam (kuyang) dari neneknya. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori pandangan dunia tragis yang dikemukakan Lucien Goldmann. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pandangan dunia tragis dalam novel Pacarku Wanita Kuyang karya Dewi Nina Kirana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan secara sistematis pandangan dunia tragis yang terdapat dalam objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandangan dunia tragis ditunjukkan dengan ketidakhadiran Tuhan untuk menolong Era (tokoh utama) ketika menerima warisan ilmu kuyang yang tidak diinginkannya. Era merahasiakan keadaannya tersebut dari orang-orang di sekitarnya karena ia tidak ingin mereka kecewa. Namun ketika kehidupannya sebagai wanita kuyang telah diketahui, hal itu membuat orang-orang yang dulu menyayanginya berubah menjadi membenci dan menjauhinya karena tidak ingin menerima keadaannya sebagai wanita penganut ilmu kuyang, bahkan oleh keluarganya sendiri.

Apoiamo-nos em um referencial teórico crítico, tendo Álvaro Vieira Pinto, Lucien Goldmann, Paulo Freire, Achile Mbembe e Ailton Krenak como aportes principais. Balizamo-nos por algumas questões: O que a pandemia desmascara? Quais os motivos de sua negação por boa parcela da população? Como as escolas podem atuar para desnudar a presente unidade epocal e anunciar outras formas de ver e viver o mundo num futuro próximo? Partimos do princípio que de que a consciência possível se constrói dentro de uma ideologia e que desvelar as falácias da necropolítica e dos ditames do neoliberalismo podem apontar rumos para a construção de inéditos-viáveis na escola e fora dela.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks novel yang berjudul La Grande Borne karya Nh. Dini. Data penelitian ini adalah berbentuk kutipan-kutipan atau satuan cerita yang terdapat dalam novel La Grande Borne karya Nh. Dini. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tekstual (pustaka). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif yang terdiri dari (1) perbandingan antardata dan (2) klasifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pandangan dunia pengarang dalam novel La Grande Borne karya Nh. Dini meliputi (1) pandangan orang Jawa yang berhubungan dengan Tuhan, (2) pandangan orang Jawa yang berhubungan dengan diri sendiri, dan (3) pandangan orang Jawa yang berhubungan dengan sesama.

Um dos grandes filósofos contemporâneos, Herbert Marcuse escreveu um livro cujo título – O HOMEM DE UMA SÓ DIMENSÃO, levou filósofos e sociólogos a retomarem a discussão sobre a inserção do fenômeno sociológico numa reflexão filosófica, a partir da idéia central de que o homem não é simplesmente um ser que cria mecanicamente os fatos sociais, mas é um ser relativamente livre, que faz história, tende a realizar seus projetos e se empenha no possível. Desse modo , pode-se inferir que, na história e até hoje, o homem se define por suas dimensões: a do real e a do possível. Que se esteja ou não de acordo com as análises contidas na obra de Marcuse, a tese tem o grande mérito de alertar para o perigo de uma redução quase total da dimensão humana do possível à dimensão do real: os homens acabariam, então, por estarem de tal modo adaptadas a realidade que só existiria uma dimensão, a da submissão à ordem existente. ( Goldmann, 1984). Esta reflexão inspirada na obra de Lucien Goldmann – EPISTEMOLOGIA E FILOSOFIA POLÍTICA – não deve ser apenas do domínio da Filosofia e da Sociologia, mas também, da Ciência da Educação. A teoria do currículo é o fórum da educação para discussão das dimensões a que o homem deve ser elevado para começar o próximo século com a dignidade que lhe é inerente. A concepção de currículo evoluiu acompanhando o desenvolvimento das ciências da educação aplicadas a diferentes áreas do conhecimento. A questão fundamental no âmbito dos estudos sobre currículo resume- se na explicação do que deve ser aprendido (conteúdo) e do como deve ser aprendido (ação).

Karya sastra merupakan sebuah struktur, namun bukan sesuatu yang statis. Karya sastra adalah cermin dari masyarakat yang mewakilinya. Oleh karena itu, lewat sebuah karya sastra pengarang bisa mengekspresikan gagasannya. Untuk mengetahui pandangan dunia pengarang terhadap kehidupan sosial masyarakat Dayak Benuaq, penelitian ini menggunakan kajian teori strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pandangan dunia pengarang terhadap kehidupan masyarakat Dayak Benuaq yang tercermin dalam Api Awan Asap. Hasil dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa struktur karya sastra dalam novel Api Awan Asap meliputi tokoh, alur, latar, sudut pandang, dan tema yang menggambarkan pandangan dunia Korrie. Kemudian pandangan dunia pengarang dijelaskan melalui latar belakang sosial pengarang, pandangan terhadap kehidupan sosial, dan dialektika. Korrie mengekspresikan bentuk gagasannya bahwa Masyarakat Dayak Benuaq bukan oknum yang merusak hutan. Masyarakat Dayak sangat menjaga hutan dengan sistem masyarakat Dayak Benuaq yang diwariskan oleh nenek moyang. Sistem sosial masyarakat dijelaskan melalui kepercayaan masyarakat, interaksi sosial kemasyarakatan, ekonomi masyarakat, kesenian masyarakat, serta sistem pemeliharaan dan hukum masyarakat Dayak Benuaq. Kemudian pengarang sebagai subjek kolektif menggambarkan perbedaan kelas sosial antara kaum borjuis dengan kaum biasa. Dari penelitian skripsi ini dapat dilihat bahwa masyarakat Dayak memiliki konsep hidup untuk melestarikan alam dan sangat menghargai alam raya. Literature is a structure, but not something static. Literature is a reflection of society that represent it. Therefore, through a literary author can express his ideas. To know the author’s view towards the Dayak Benuaq’s social life, this research uses genetic structuralism theory proposed by Lucien Goldmann. The purpose of this study is to describe the author’s view towards the Dayak Benuaq’s social life that is reflected on a novel entitled Api Awan Asap. The finding of this study concludes that the literary stucture on the novel entitled Api Awan Asap includes character, plot, setting, point of view, and theme which describe the Korrie’s life. Then, the author’s life view is explained through the author’s social background, social life view, and dialectal. Korrie expreesses his ideas that Dayak Benuaq Society is not the doer who destroy the forest. Dayak Benuaq Society maintains the forest sustainability uses their own system that is innherited by their ancestors. Social Society system is exeplained through the society belief, social interaction, scoiety economy, society art, and as well as the maintenance and low system of Dayak Benuaq Society. Then, the author as the collective subject describes the social classes differentiation between the rich and poor people. Build on this study, it can be seen that Dayak Benuaq Society has a living concept to preserve the nature and appreciate the natural kingdom.

This study aims to describe the struggle of women during the DI / TII rebellion in the novel Azizah by Emmah Azra. This type of research is classified as library research. The research method used descriptive qualitative method. The research data were in the form of story texts relating to the structure of the novel and the struggle of women during the DI / TII rebellion in the novel of Azizah by EmmahAzra. The technique used in this study was the technique of reading and taking notes. The theory used to analyze the data in this study was Genetic Structuralism by Lucien Goldmann. Based on the results of this study it could be concluded that through the novel of Azizah by Emmah Azra, the author described the conditions and struggles of women. This novel described the lives of women during the DI / TII rebellion in South Sulawesi in the 1950s. The novel of Azizah by EmmahAzra also told about Kahar Muzakar's resistance in fighting for the application of Islamic law. Emmah also described the impact of the war on the lives of women and society at that time. At that time, society, especially women, had to move places to avoid war and save them. Manusia sejatinya merupakan makhluk sosial. Manusia tidak dapat hidup sendiri dan selalu membutuhkan orang lain. Namun akhir-akhir ini ditengarai bahwa nilai-nilai sosial yang sesungguhnya telah lama terjiwai dan menjadi laku hidup manusia Indonesia eksistensinya mulai terkikis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan kontruksi nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam kumpulan cerpen Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah karya Ahmad Tohari. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan kekhasannya mendeskripsikan data yang diperoleh secara mendalam. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui tahapan pembacaan teks cerpen secara seksama, mengklasifikasikan data, menafsirkan hasil analisis data, mengkonfirmasi hasil analisis, kemudian menyimpulkan hasil analisis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kumpulan cerpen Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah karya Ahmad Tohari. Pendekatan strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann digunakan sebagai upaya mengetahui data-data yang berkaitan dengan kontruksi nilai sosial dalam teks cerpen. Kontruksi nilai sosial tersebut merupakan representasi pandangan dunia pengarang, sementara fakta sosial adalah hal melatarbelakangi pandangan dunia tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontruksi nilai sosial yang terdapat dalam kumpulan Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah karya Ahmad Tohari yaitu: nilai sosial bersolidaritas, nilai sosial bertoleransi, dan nilai sosial bekerja sama. Fakta sosial yang melatarbelakangi pandangan dunia pengarang adalah interaksi sosial masyarakat pinggiran atau masyarakat kecil yang mencirikan pola kehidupan bersolidaritas, bertoleransi, dan saling bekerja sama.

This article discusses violence in a constructed utopian society in The Giver, Lois Lowry's distopian novel. We assume that 'sameness' as the governing system in the novel is the source of violence. Therefore, this article aims to reveal the real conditions beyond the utopian society. Applying genetic structuralism by Lucien Goldmann, we analyze the presentation of society in the novel through the narrative structure and relate them to discourses of American society in 1990s with Author as the bridge of the fiction and real life. The result of this analysis shows that comfort facilities provided by the government in a society is potential to hegemonize people and dehumanize them for the sake of power.Keywords: utopian society, genetic structuralism, worldview. AbstrakArtikel ini mendiskusikan tentang kekerasan dalam masyarakat utopis yang dikontruksi dalam novel distopian berjudul The Giver karya Lois Lowry. Kami mengganggap 'sameness' sebagai sistem pemerintahan di masyarakat yang ada dalam novel sebagai sumber dari kekerasan tersebut. Selanjutnya, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggungkapkan kondisi sebenarrnya dibalik masyarakat utopis ini. Dengan menggaplikasikan teori strukturalisme genetik milik Lucien Golmann, kami menganalisa tampilan dari masyarakat di novel ini melalui struktur naratif dan menghubungkannya dengan wacana tentang masyarakat Amerika pada tahun 1990an dengan kehidupan penulis sebagai penghubung antara fiksi dan dunia nyata. Hasil dari analisa ini menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas kenyamanan yang disediakan oleh pemerintah dalam masyarakat tersebut merupakan cara untuk mendominasi dan menghilangkan rasa kemanusiaan mereka hanya untuk kepentingan kekuasaan.Kata kunci: masyakat utopis, strukturalisme genetik, pandangan dunia.

Durante o processo histórico de construção da Educação Física brasileira, reside um tensionamento entre o viés biologicista, tecnicista e esportivista em contraponto a uma visão sociocultural da área. Nesse panorama, demarca-se mais de trinta e cinco anos da publicação dos livros “O que é Educação Física” e “Educação Física Cuida do Corpo... e Mente”, respectivamente de Vitor Marinho de Oliveira e de João Paulo Subirá Medina, que buscaram proporcionar discussões para a Educação Física de modo a refletir as bases que a sustentavam. Pela relevância para o campo teórico da Educação Física, no presente estudo foi procurado compreender a questão da autoria desses livros a partir da sociologia da literatura, tomando como base o conceito de autoria e de grupo social de Lucien Goldmann, objetivando evidenciar a importância à época dos livros relacionado ao grupo social da Educação Física. Daí emerge o debate sobre a vinculação dos autores desses livros ao grupo social que pertencem(iam), no contexto dos anos de 1980, relevantes para o desenvolvimento de uma forma crítica de pensar a Educação Física. Como do resultado da investigação, identifica-se que Vitor Marinho de Oliveira e João Paulo Subirá Medina são expressões de um momento histórico específico que podem ter sintetizado o pensamento do grupo social (ao menos em parte) da Educação Física ao qual pertenciam, de acordo com as circunstâncias de época.
