Chegu is a traditional performance in Taiwanese civil society. Due to the development of Chegu has long history in Taiwan; there is an inseparable connection between Chegu and the common people. Chegu has been used in weddings, funerals, temple fairs, and art performances to convey the main ideas of the functions. The unique ways it performs and even the styles are combined with the civil life. Thus, Chegu is an important performance in Taiwan and is a topic that worthy to study. This article is going to discuss the“Tu-An Gong Zu-Ma Zhen”in Tuku, Xinying Dist., Tainan City and the ”Chin-Shan Gong Niu-Li-Ge Zhen” in Zhuqiao, Qigu Dist.. Then we will talk about the importance of Taiwanese traditional art. First, we are going to clean out the definition of Chegu and its historical background. Second, we will research the historical background of the “Tu-An Gong Zu-Ma Zhen”and then record and analyze the performing types, the music, social function, and its religious meaning. Third, we will discuss the”Chin-Shan Gong Niu-Li-Ge Zhen” in the same topics that are mentioned above, but we will talk more about its artist quality. At last, we will compare the differences between the two teams and also the situations they face now. Wish this article can bring positive effect to the“Tu-An Gong Zu-Ma Zhen” and the”Chin-Shan Gong Niu-Li-Ge Zhen” in the future. Through this research, hope it can help people who study Chegu. More, the recordings of the interview between the writer and the Chegu artists can be an useful information to the Chegu music adopters and the future researchers.

There were many eminent cities had sophisticated improvement projects to their local rivers in the world. Such projects successfully advertised image of cities and attract many tourists to visit. It resulted many interests related to rivers ran in nation. Liou Gong Zun is an irrigation canal flows pass Xindian district: An 270 year old man-made legacy which witness the history of urban development of Taipei city. It is 3.8 km in total length and can be approximately divide into 5 parts. Each parts is with its rich history and interlock with local life. When we plan the improvement project, such canal runs through with different landscape should not just concentrated on ecology method, river-intimate design, tourist attractions… instead, we need look what is the importance of locals feeling about sense of belonging and life of theirs which conjunct such cultural landscape. So what is cultural landscape? Is it not because it doesn’t recognize by cultural heritage laws? Cultural landscape is related with its own people and land, why need to measure its importance? And what is after cultural landscape site becomes a tourist attraction? Such questions are slowly surface to our thinking.

Parade formation culture is one of the cultural assets in our country.As its development, the special local culture of the faith and the folk festival was created.And it also adds a lot of special resources to this local culture. For example, Tu-An Gong Zu-Ma Zhen in Sin Yin, Tainan shows its preciousness. It can be passed on in the Tuku Communityonly because there are a lot of taboos which are not allowed to show to outsiders.The origin and connotation of the Zu-Ma Zhen has been discussed and studied in the past. But the pass of the Zu-Ma Zhen is closely related to the community recognition.Therefore, this study is to explore how the Tuku Community combined with Zu-Ma Zhen to promote community development and heritage.Research methods include qualitative case studies, literature analysis and in-depth interviews.The conclusion is that there are some crisis, such as low birth rate, elderly community, the belief culture that is out of touch with the young generations.The "bottom-up spirit"created by the comprehensive community development, is conducive to the continuation of Zu-Ma Zhen, and further promotion of the community development.

Abstract The main subject of this article is researching Yang-Chin composing thoughts after the 80’s. --Basic on ＜The Yellow River＞the Yang-Chin Concerto and ＜Going to the Rebels for Shelter at Night＞ ChapterⅠ is directing the motive and purpose of this researching essay, and identify the researching directions and the sources used in the article. Chapter II is basic on analyzing the compose background of《The Yellow River》, including 《The Yellow River Cantata》and《The Yellow River》Piano Concerto, contains 3 major parts as music introduction of 《The Yellow River》Yang-Chin Concerto: Composing procedures, composer introductions, and composing materials. Chapter III is trying to give 《The Yellow River》Piano Concerto a further analyze, discussing the music composition and performing interpretation more deeply, and compare them with《The Yellow River》Yang-Chin Concerto. Chapter IV is introducing the compose background, composing procedures , the composer, composing materials, music composition and performing skills of 《Going to the Rebels for Shelter at Night》. Chapter V is Conclusion. According to the results above, understanding the compose thoughts of Yang-chin in the 80’s, and the pieces were created under different ideas from Eastern and the nationalities. Further more; realizing different music style needs different performing ways. Only to understand the peculiar style of each piece, we can perform it in a perfect position and expose the specialties of the piece entirely.
