Abstract:
This article challenges A.W. Pollard’s foundational distinction between good and bad quartos, which confuses ethical and bibliographical categories. Some quartos are badly inked, or printed on poor-quality paper. But Q1 Hamlet is a professional, well-made commodity. Zachary Lesser has conjectured that Q1 sold poorly, and has claimed that the similarity of the title pages of Q1 and Q2 supports that hypothesis. But both title pages are typical of Ling’s books, and their similarities are no more remarkable than those in Ling’s different quartos of Michael Drayton’s poems. Q1 Hamlet apparently sold more quickly than Q2. Using D.W. Winnicott’s theories about the ‘good enough mother’ and ‘transitional objects’, we can identify Q1 as a ‘good enough quarto’.

Abstract:
Abstract The present qualitative study aims to understand the affective and emotional attitudes that support the maternal experience in precarious conditions by articulating the maternal ideals of socially vulnerable women through the Winnicottian concept of the good enough mother. We used a procedure called Interactive Narrative to facilitate a less defensive and more ludic approach to the studied theme and invited women sheltered in an institution for pregnant and puerperal women to complete a story that had been written by the researcher. In the second stage, we formed a discussion group to gain insight into participants' conceptions of motherhood. The material produced was analyzed as a collective production so that we could identify underlying affective and emotional aspects of the group's imaginative elaborations about motherhood in precarious conditions. Feelings of helplessness, abandonment and loneliness were as present in the narrative productions as the idea that having a child creates opportunities for the development of maternal capabilities.

Abstract:
The problem of stunting (stunting) is one of the nutritional problems faced in the world, especially in poor and developing countries). Stunting is a problem because it is associated with an increased risk of illness and death, suboptimal brain development, resulting in delayed motor development and stunted mental growth. These nutritional problems can be overcome when they understand the problem and know how to solve it according to their respective conditions (Ramayulis et al, 2018).Target and Outcome: Increased role of mothers with under-five children in early detection of stunting, which aims to reduce the incidence of stunting in under-five.Method of implementation: Administrative preparation, socialization, implementation of health education and evaluation. Activities were carried out from September 2019 to January 2020 by providing education to mothers about the role of mothers in early detection of stunting. Evaluation is done by looking at the results of the pre-test and post-test scores for the mother. Located at Posyandu Lebak Bandung, the Work Area of the Simpang Kawat Puskesmas, Jambi City. Results: After preparation, socialization, implementation and evaluation of the results of the pre-test and post-test scores before health education was carried out on early detection of stunting, out of 15 respondents the role of mother was Poor 9 (60%), Enough 6 (40%), and Good 0 (0%). After health education was carried out about early detection of stunting, from 15 respondents the role of mother was Poor 0 (0%), Enough 4 (26.6%), and Good 11 (73.3%).Conclusion: There was increased knowledge of mothers before and after health education on early detection of stunting. Abstract:
Background: HIV / AIDS is still a global health problem which needs to be addressed including prevention of HIV / AIDS transmission from mother to child. Prevention of transmission is carried out by implementing the Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission or PMTCT program. The PMTCT program is considered successful in reducing the risk of mother-to-child transmission, but this has not been done well and thoroughly, various kinds of challenges have occurred in the implementation of the PMTCT program. Objective: To know the challenges that occur in implementing the PMTCT programMethod: This study uses a systematic review based on Preferred Reporting Items For Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) to identify all the literature published using relevant keywords. Results: challenges in implementing the PMTCT program are the lack of information on HIV treatment, lack of family support, the heavy workload experienced by health workers and the limited availability of HIV testing equipment and drug stocks. Conclusion: The success of efforts to prevent HIV / AIDS transmission from mother to child does not depend on one party only, but involves several parties, the active role of health workers in providing education and information about HIV / AIDS to mothers and their families is not enough but must be added with active roles and support from family members to HIV mothers as the primary motivator for good behavior in accordance with the guidelines for PMTCT.

Abstract:
Pneumonia is an acute infection that attacks lung tissue (alveoli) caused by bacteria, virus and fungi. According to WHO, in 2015 pneumonia accounted for 16% of all children deaths under-five years and killed 920.136 toddlers. The number of cases of under-five pneumonia in Indonesia in 2012 was 549.708 cases. While, in 2013 there was 571.547 cases. Kamonji Health Center is the health center which has the highest incidence of pneumonia in Palu, amounted to 536 cases of patients from 2,508 cases. The aim of the study is to find out the knowledge and attitudes of mothers, facilities and health services, family and health workers support for mothers who have pneumonia at Kamonji Health Center. The research used was qualitative using indepth interview as data collection techniques. The subject of the study were 9 informants who were determined by purposive sampling technique. The results show that maternal knowledge is still lack due to the less of information which mother gets about pneumonia. Mother's attitude regarding the incidence of pneumonia shows a positive attitude. Health facilities and health workers at the Kamonji Health Center are already good. Likewise with family support that is already good enough. Suggestions for the Kamonji Health Center are expected to provide counseling to the toddlers' mothers and families as informants in preventing pneumonia.

Abstract:
This study examined the construction of the maternal identity among Jewish Israeli women whose children are raised by their father in a sociocultural context that valorizes the maternal role in the lives of women. Interpretive interactionist analysis of in-depth interviews with 13 nonresidential mothers identified the discursive strategies that they used to negotiate a troubled maternal identity due to their nonnormative position. The mothers deflected guilt and responsibility for the fact that they do not live with their children. Further, they exhibited two dynamics of maternal identity construction: internalizing the critical discourse and constructing a nonresidential identity as a “good enough” mother. The findings support the view that hegemonic social discourses affect the construction of maternal identity by nonresidential mothers. At the same time, they are also indicative of the creation of an alternative discourse that portrays a nonresidential maternal identity as positive.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze factors that affect the nutritional status of children aged 6-23 months. The data used were acquired from a survey conducted at mother and child health services (‘posyandu’), daycares, and households in four districts in Padang City, West Sumatera. In this study, variables that are hypothesized to contribute to nutritional status are sex, birth weight, family income, number of family dependents, exclusive breastfeeding status, mother's employment status, education level, knowledge and nutritional behavior. Data analysis was done by using tree structure analysis namely CART method. It is showed that variables which significantly affect the nutritional status of children aged 6-23 months are mother’s education level, knowledge and nutritional behavior. Children with low mother’s education level have higher prevalence of severely underweight and underweight when mother’s knowledge is poor or enough. in the group of children whose mothers have higher level of education, the variable that has a significant influence on child’s nutritional status is mother's nutritional behavior. In the group of children whose mothers have higher level of education, the variable that has a significant influence on child’s nutritional status is mother's nutritional behavior, the prevalence of overweight is likely to be high in children whose mothers nutritional behaviour is not good. Therefore, intervention from related parties is needed to implement programs for improving mother's knowledge about nutrition that will lead to better child’s nutritional status.

Abstract:
During the perinatal period, women may experience severe mental health problems. Research has shown the potential negative impact of mother-baby's separation and of parental psychiatric illness, on the child. MBUs care requires different staff's expertise in order to: treat women with psychiatric disorders, ensure child care and development, and support appropriate mother–infant interaction with “good enough” mothering. For this, a multidisciplinary team is needed. Specific attention is also given to the child's father. Most MBUs may admit women with infants from birth till one year old and during several weeks or months.More than two third of admitted women are discharged either symptom-free or greatly improved. An efficient follow up at discharge should be prepared with the women, the child's father, when presents, and linked to familial, social and medical resources. Moreover, MBUs staff should collaborate with other psychiatrists, obstetricians, midwives, pediatricians, and social workers. Mother–baby units should be part of a local health perinatal network including maternity unit, neonatal care, and community resources.Referral for admission in MBUs may be required for women with a first acute episode, or a relapse, of a severe psychiatric disorder such as postpartum psychosis, manic disorder, major depressive episodes, schizophrenia, personality or behavior disorders. Moreover for prevention purposes, referral of women with known chronic mental health problems may start already during pregnancy.Challenge of benefice and limit of MBUs’ care will be discussed with participants.Disclosure of interestFlorence Gressier has given talks for Lundbeck and Servier and received a grant from Servier for a postdoctoral degree (2011-2012).

Abstract:
Obstetric violence—violence in the labor room—has been described in terms not only of violence in general but specifically of gender violence. We offer a philosophical analysis of obstetric violence, focused on the central role of gendered shame for construing and perpetuating such violence. Gendered shame in labor derives both from the reifying gaze that transforms women's laboring bodies into dirty, overly sexual, and “not‐feminine‐enough” dysfunctional bodies and from a structural tendency to relate to laboring women mainly as mothers‐to‐be, from whom “good motherhood” is demanded. We show that women who desire a humane birth are thus easily made to feel ashamed of wanting to be respected and cared for as subjects, rather than caring exclusively for the baby's well‐being as a good altruistic mother supposedly should. We explore how obstetric violence is perpetuated and expanded through shaming mechanisms that paralyze women, rendering them passive and barely able to face and fight against this violence. Gendered shame has a crucial role in returning women to “femininity” and construing them as “fit mothers.” To stand against gendered shame, to resist it, on the other hand, is to clearly challenge obstetric violence and its oppressive power.

Abstract:
Background: Breastfeeding has been accepted as the most vital intervention for reducing infant mortality and ensuring optimal growth and development of children. The current study aimed to assess the knowledge and practice regarding breastfeeding among mothers attending immunization clinic. Methods: A cross sectional study was mothers having children under 1 year of age, who attended their children for vaccination and for the treatment of other minor illnesses. The purposive sampling technique was used for selecting the study subjects. Information regarding patients' demographics, knowledge and practice towards breastfeeding were collected from these mothers on a pre-designed and pretested questionnaire. Results: A total of 208 women with children between 6 months and 12 months were included in the study. Their age ranged between 18 and 37 years with the mean of 24.9±4.1. Overall mother's breastfeeding knowledge was good among 35% and excellent among 22% of them while it was unsatisfactory among 43% of the mothers. Breastfeeding in the first 6 months was practiced by 42% of the participated mothers. Only 23% practiced exclusive breast feeding. Among those who breastfed their babies, 51% initiated breastfeeding in the first hour of birth, 21% between 2-4 hours and only 20% initiated it after 24 hours. Only 73% of mother had not given any prelacteal feeding to their babies. No enough breast milk (47.9%), crying hungry (31.5%), work-related problems (13.7%) & mothers' illness (6.8%) were the commonly reported barriers against exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion: The prevalence of EBF for up to 6 months of age was still low as per WHO recommendations. The mother's perception of “insufficient breast milk” was also the main reason for introducing other foods. Optimal breastfeeding promotion campaigns need to be carried out within the existing health care system such as the antenatal, after delivery and vaccination clinics.Journal of Nepalgunj Medical College Vol.13(1) 2015: 32-39

Abstract:
This paper aims to assess and estimate parental investment in children in four activities: education, health, leisure and nurture. The author first analyzes constructed composite scores and observed similarity for parental investment in health and differences in the other activities but the investment level is little enough. The author next provides new empirical evidence to shed light on the relationship between the level of parental investment and characteristics of the child, the mother and the household. Using Poisson and Negative Binominal regression models on household micro-data, the author finds good investment level in health but weak in education and almost unawareness of leisure and recreation. The education is linked to mothers' attitude and the household lifestyle is slightly valuable for the Center-Eastern area and the capital city. On the contrary, nurture activity is not linked to the lifestyle and exhibit regional differences. Moreover, households in the East of the country are more investing then those in the west.

Good knowledge of one‘s mother tongue is the feature of a cultured man. However, to introduce language into the process of cultural development of the future engineer efficiently will be possible only if this connection is grasped by those who organize and determine the system of training and education of students. As one may notice the language of educational or teaching publications under discussion is not always good enough: there are inaccurate uses of terms, vocabulary, grammar; style mistakes occur. The language of these publications would improve, if: a) authors and editors used standardized and unified terms given in Lithuanian dictionaries of terms; b) did not use translations of meaning or words as well as word combinations in improper meaning; c) avoided verb adverbial or substantival structures which darken the meaning.

Abstract:
The lack of good quality planting material has limited the expansion and contributed to yield reduction of the Brazilian pineapple culture. Alternatives of 'Pérola' pineapple slips management were studied aiming at obtaining superior planting material within a shorter time period and making good use of healthy slips of low vigor, that are commonly discarded by growers. Two experiments were carried out at the Experimental Field of Embrapa Cassava & Fruits, Cruz das Almas, Bahia, Brazil, and another one in a commercial plantation in the region of Itaberaba, BA, using blocks or entirely randomized designs with at least four replications. In the first one, the development of slips of different initial sizes (6 to 20 cm long), when grown on mother plants after fruit harvest, was compared with that of slips grown in a nursery after their removal from the mother plants. It became clear that larger slips grow more vigorously and that the removal from the mother plant delays their growth. However, results from the second study showed that those slips grown in nursery had vegetative and agronomic performance similar to that of conventional slips and close to that of plantlets produced from plant stem sections. Independently from the type of planting material used, the larger ones presented a more vigorous growth and produced higher yields. In the third study, it was observed the influence of mineral fertilization, pest control and growth regulator application after fruit harvest on slip development. The treatments applied did not significantly accelerate slip growth. Slips reached 50 cm length and at least 300 g fresh weight within 90 days after fruit harvest, indicating that vigorous plants have enough nutritional storage material for slips development.

Acute appendicitis in puerperium is often diagnosed too late, because clinical signs can be unrelaible. Abdominal wall rigidity is rarely noticed in puerpeium because of weak abdominal wall muscles, laboratory parameters are not enough relaible and atipycal appendix presentation makes difficulties in diagnosis3,4. Knowing clinical signs and symptoms of appendicitis, possible complications and their early detection, make a chance for a good surgical outcome. Measuring of axillar and rectal temperature can take confusion in, and prolong time until surgical treatment. Leucocytosis in puerperium is not valid for diagnosis. We report a case of patient in puerperium with high laboratory infection parameters. Diagnosis of appendicitis is made based on clinical signs and symptoms, that is proved intraoperatively and histologicaly. Appendectomy without perforation carries less risks for mother and fetus.

Abstract:
Contemporary adult discussions often set up strong, even unchallenged norms of what things in the home promote children’s well-being and what constitutes a threat to it. This article examines children’s own descriptions of their homes and their standpoints on what is a good and proper life at home. The analysis focuses on the interview talk of child clients of Finnish child welfare. Children’s talk of home is characterized by positiveness, the presence of mother and scarcity of words. Home talk was not tinged with worry and problems. The study shows that children also have personal moral standpoints related to their homes. The children regard their homes as places of reciprocal obligations and responsibilities. Just as the adults have a moral obligation to look after the daily life at home, the children and the livelihood, the children also must look after the adults in situations where the adults have not enough energy, time or capability. The results argue for the need to rethink ‘adultist’ and professional norms of homes as a platform to promote the good life of children.
