An attack that can leak authentication credentials on a Windows operating system by using the SMB file sharing protocol on a Windows operating system is an ever-present problem. It's been exploited in many ways, but the only solution found is limited to local area networks. Jonathan Brossard and Hormazd Billimoria recently presented one study involving internet attacks at the Black Hat security conference in 2015. However, no SMB-related attacks were published. The Google Chrome browser, widely available on computers today, has a variety of free and low-cost apps and extensions that can benefit all students in inclusive classroom settings. Using apps and extensions readily available for the Google Chrome browser, teachers have access to assistive tools that can be useful learning supports for students with and without disabilities. There are apps and extensions available to support literacy, mathematics, and organizational skills. Using these tools, teachers can provide multiple means of representation, expression, and engagement in alignment with Universal Design for Learning guidelines. This article describes how Chrome apps and extensions can be used to support literacy, mathematics, organization, and planning in inclusive settings.

Web Browser play the important mandatory role in accessing the application through the internet and may carry malicious content to the system hence threatening the system from the attacker. Google Chrome is one of popular browser since released on 2008 as one of product of Chromium Project at Google. Chrome is fourth ranking in Common Vulnerabilities Enumeration website and the first ranking among browser that have most of vulnerabilities reported. This paper describe a Descriptive analysis of weakness and vulnerabilities of Chrome browser. The analysis use comparison approach to other popular browser such as Safari and Firefox. The analysis also use main reference and database from mitre.org which have common weakness enumeration database and scoring system calculation for vulnerability. This work cover responsiveness rate among them regarding weakness and vulnerabilities update duration and severity rate. The validation has performed using Descriptive test regarding weakness and vulnerability behavior. According to Architectural, Development and Research Conceptual weakness reported, the browsers has not significantly indicate the difference except between Chrome and Firefox in research conceptual weakness. The severity of browser vulnerabilities shown by Firefox and the best responsiveness to update browser weakness shown by Chrome, followed by Safari. Using Descriptive analysis, Chrome will keep dominant against the other browser, while Firefox and Safari potentially become unpopular such as Internet Explorer for upcoming time.

Abstract:
This article is focused on comparative analysis of three frameworks to create presentation layer of application. Three analysis have been conducted on two browsers, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Code complexity, the speed of view rendering, the smoothness of working of overstretched application, the amount of sent data needed to start application and the amount of memory used by application depending on the number of elements on list was took into consideration. In research purposes TodoMVC applications made with AngularJS, Angular2 and BackboneJS were used. Conducted experiments shown that Angular2 in Google Chrome achieve the best result. BackboneJS was the winner in Mozilla Firefox.

Abstract:
<span>This paper showcases the study and observation on the error occurrence in gesture control technologies. An arduino-based gesture control environment has been developed by using the arduino board to use motion gestures to control the contents on the screen. This environment is made using position sensitive diodes as sensing devices, arduino as a micro-controller and Python to execute commands in the system. It is performed on 2 different software applications namely Google Chrome and VideoLAN Client Media Player. In Google Chrome gestures are used to traverse between tabs and also move up and down within a web page, whereas in VideoLAN Client Media Player gestures are used to control the volume and speed. Through this, the difference between two technologies i.e., infrared and ultrasonic are worked and compared. Various data visualization cues are prepared to better understand the error and the factors causing it. Thorough investigation of factors affecting the error has been done using our observation. The future of this technology and its limitations have been also discussed.</span>

The present study investigates the use of electronic resources by the undergraduate students in the private engineering colleges in Coimbatore. The study followed the questionnaire method for collecting the required information from the undergraduate students. Out of the three hundred questionnaires distributed, two hundred and fifty questionnaires were received. The study found thatmajority of the respondents were usedthe Google chrome (72.8%) and Mozilla Firefox (60.8%) web browsers and most preferred search engine is Google (88.4%). The study also found that e- books (72%), e-journals (70%) and e-thesis (64%) are the major e-resources used by respondents.

Sistem reservasi merupakan sistem untuk mengetahui informasi pelayanan jasa tertentu. Sistem reservasi service gadget ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan konsumen dalam melakukan pendaftaran atau reservasi karena dilakukan secara online, sehingga para konsumen tidak perlu menunggu untuk mengikuti antrian yang panjang saat reservasi manual. Oleh karena itu aplikasi ini dibuat dan diperlukan sebagai solusi dari masalah seperti antrian panjang saat reservasi secara komputasi berbasis website. Penerapan metode yang dilakukan dalam pembuatan sistem aplikasi service gadget ini, yaitu metode Antrian First In First Out yang menerapkan Single Channel-Single Phase. Pada aplikasi ini Konsumen melakukan reservasi antrian service pada halaman reservasi order service, setelah data terkirim selanjutnya akan diproses oleh sistem untuk di verifikasi. Setelah itu sistem akan menampilkan halaman bukti reservasi untuk dicetak oleh konsumen sebagai bukti sudah melakukan reservasi. Pengujian yang dilakukan melakukan perbandingan pada web browser seperti Microsoft Edge membutuhkan waktu 53 detik untuk melakukan reservasi dengan menjalankan aplikasi reservasi service gadget, sedangkan pengujian pada Mozilla Firefox 54 detik dan Google Chrome 58 detik. Selain itu dalam penggunaan memori (RAM) Microsoft Edge memakai 168,4KB, sedangkan pengujian pada Mozilla Firefox 212,6KB dan Google Chrome 274,0KB.

This study uses Google chrome as a tool, combined with advanced search styles to retrieve related website links, and uses link analysis methods to comprehensively analyze the influence of 14 prefecture-level municipal government portals in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. At the same time, the analysis results are sorted by using the gray correlation analysis method through EXCEL. The evaluation results show that the relevance of the government portals of prefecture-level cities in Guangxi is generally between 0.7 and 0.9, and improvement strategies are proposed on this basis.

В целом, выясняется – Азербайджан, Грузия, Узбекистан, Казахстан и Молдова не доступны для простого пользователя Google Chrome, либо предоставля-<br />ют материалы исключительно на национальных языках. При этом выясняется, что украинскую библиотечную ассоциацию возглавляет директор Центра информационных ресурсов посольства США в Украине. На текущем этапе исследования, абсолютно лояльны, с точки зрения доступа, лишь Республики Беларусь и Кыргызстан. Армения – старается, а Молдова активно борется с остеопорозом.</p>

The article describes the investigation process of the possibilities of XSS–attacks, and the development of counteraction means to these attacks. Researches were determined whether XSS–attack can be fulfilled successfully, and vulnerability detection methods can be applied; were developed the logical and structural diagrams of XSS–vulnerability detection program; were realized program implementation (software) of algorithms for detecting XSS–vulnerabilities on the Web – sites. The software implementation is Web extension for the Google Chrome browser. Main purpose of implementing this software is to confirm or deny the presence of XSS–vulnerabilities on the site, and to counteract the possible attack.

Selain itu, pandemi covid-19 yang belum berakhir hingga saat ini menuntut guru dan siswa untuk menggunakan media yang tepat dalam pembelajaran daring. Media Google Slide berbantu aplikasi Pear Deck merupakan salah satu media yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring. Media ini mudah diakses melalui Chrome atau Browser lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pengembangan media dan respon siswa terhadap media serta menganalisis kelayakan media. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model 3D (Define, Design dan Develop). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, angket kebutuhan guru dan siswa, angket validasi ahli media, ahli materi dan guru biologi, angket keterbacaan dan respon siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase nilai dari ahli media sebesar 88% (sangat layak), ahli materi sebesar 84% (layak), guru biologi sebesar 77% (layak), uji keterbacaan siswa sebesar 81% (layak) dan respon siswa sebesar 78% (layak). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ini layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah.

Aplikasi ini diujicoba dengan menggunakan metode black box untuk menguji fitur yang dimiliki yaitu voice command dan object detection (deteksi objek). Uji coba dilakukan menggunakan browser Google Chrome pada perangkat smartphone RealMe 3. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu orang-orang yang mengalami gangguan pada matanya agar dapat beraktifitas yang lebih nyaman. It has been proven that Constructor Electronic books 1.1.3 and SunRav provide the creation of online tutorials that are run using an exe-file. Webnode Website Designer enables the creation of open-source electronic educational resources that are freely available on the World Wide Web (teacher's personal sites, discipline study site, e-learning teaching / learning support of disciplines, etc.). These electronic educational resources effectively and fully function in any modern browser: Google Chrome, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc., and also provide the opportunity to work online with students. Using Google Classroom is appropriate when you need to organise full-time online (virtual) online distance learning. For the resource-based learning of the students majoring in Economics, the authors have developed and presented an electronic manual "Higher Mathematics for Economists" in the Designer of Electronic Textbooks (N. Kononets); an educational and methodological complex of the discipline "Economic Informatics" in the environment of SunRav IS (N. Abstract: This paper is concerned to show how a mobile phone equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) can be used to construct a Single Sign-On authentication system (Celikkan & Gelis, 2014, August). When logging in to numerous online sites, customers no longer have to juggle a plethora of usernames and passwords to keep track of. As omnipresent computing devices, smartphones are utilised for a wide range of functions, from authentication to tracking to medical care to entertainment and epayment. Among NFC's many advantages is that it uses short-range communication, which enhances security while also making it simple to use. Our Chrome browser extension allows users to easily authenticate and manage their personal information from their mobile devices. Owing to browser security restrictions, JavaScript code (used in the Google Chrome extension) cannot access computer system resources when executing in a browser. As a result, the Java applet is used to run the software on the user's computer. With the help of the extension, NFC Reader may be accessed and used, and a connection between Java and JavaScript can be established. Using NFC, the user does not have to input any account information because it is automatically uploaded to the online login page. La metodología acude a la investigación educativa cualitativa con componente cuantitativa y estudio de casos. Se hizo uso del procesador de palabras Word, al diseñador de diapositivas PowerPoint, al entorno de desarrollo DevC++ y al navegador Google Chrome. Los resultados evidencian que el aprovechamiento simultáneo de las TIC frente al estudiante en un curso de programación de computadores, fortalece la exposición magistral y logra aprendizajes más significativos con sentido, autonomía y apropiación de conocimiento a largo plazo.

Las siguientes páginas están interesadas, en primer lugar, en subrayar que las mujeres también son forjadoras de discursos coloniales, aunque éstos sean, en su mayoría, cómplices del poder hegemónico. Y, en segundo lugar, denunciar que la narrativa colonial, redu ccionista y amante de las grandes generalizaciones, ofrece una otredad confinada en una masa femenina uniforme en vez de perseguir una representación más integradora de mujeres plurales y diversas.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>Because postcolonial theories lack a gender perspective, this article focuses on the methodological approach proposed by postcolonial feminisms, through one of its greatest representatives, Spivak, for the analysis of female otherness of a narrative genre with specific characteristics: colonial, from an Arab-Islamic context and written by women. The following pages are interested, first, to underline that women are also creators of colonial discourse although these are mostly accomplices of hegemonic power. <p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>Con el propósito de identificar las regularidades en los estereotipos, los prejuicios y las formas de discriminación, asociados a la mujer en el contexto laboral latinoamericano, se analizaron treinta estudios empíricos en países de Latinoamérica y publicados en revistas adscritas a las bases Redalyc y Psicodoc correspondientes al período de 2005 a 2015. Para el análisis se diseñó una matriz con las siguientes categorías: título, autores/as, año, país, variables, objetivos, tipo de investigación, instrumentos y resultados. La información se sometió a un análisis descriptivo y se concluyó que, pese a que se ha generado una cultura de inclusión de la mujer en las organizaciones, persisten los prejuicios, estereotipos y conductas discriminatorias.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>To identify symmetries in stereotypes, prejudices and forms of discrimination associated with women labor in the Latin American context, thirty empirical studies were analyzed. Those studies were published from 2005 to 2015 at journals contained in Redalyc and Psicodoc academic data-bases. Este artículo tiene como objetivo evidenciar cómo la “La Marcha de las Putas” en Manizales ha sido una insolente, creativa y experimental práctica colectiva de resistencia que cumple, a partir de la transgresión, el papel de desentrañar las violencias ejercidas por el patriarcado a través de sus perversas categorizaciones. La Puta como locus de lucha de política es entonces una estratégica, paródica y postidentitaria categoría de resistencia.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract </strong></p><p>The discursive construction of women as "witches" or "sluts" has been one of the many ways that they have historically been sex-politically oppressed and controlled. This article has as objective to show how the Slutwalk in Manizales has been configured as a creative and experimental collective practice of resistance. From transgression, it fulfills the role of unraveling the patriarchy violence through their perverse categorizations upon women. <p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>La violencia contra las mujeres es un fenómeno universal e histórico que afecta a las mujeres y niñas de todas las clases sociales, tratándose de una manifestación de desigualdad entre las mujeres y los hombres. Uno de los ámbitos privilegiados y especialmente importantes desde donde se puede y debe prevenir es la educación. Disponemos de un buen marco conceptual para comprender la complejidad del fenómeno, de datos que indican la gravedad y magnitud del problema y de una normativa de obligado cumplimiento en todos los niveles educativos, porque la igualdad también se aprende y, a pesar de los importantes retos que tiene planteados, la coeducación deviene necesaria para poder erradicar la violencia machista.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>Violence against women is a universal and historical phenomenon that affects women and girls from all social classes, the greatest expression of inequality between women and men. One of the privileged and most important areas from which it can and must be prevent is education. La reflexión se centra en Carla Lonzi por ser una autora que en todas sus obras mantiene la necesidad de realizar una crítica radical a la cultura.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong>:</p><p>The critique of Western culture carried out by the feminist movement is significant because it makes clear that the West adopts a colonialist approach to subjects and cultures it considers inferior. <p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>Los feminismos islámicos nacieron en los años noventa del siglo XX y desde entonces han sido objeto de severas críticas por parte de quienes consideran que no es posible luchar por los derechos de las mujeres desde las propias creencias. Frente a sus opositores, académicas y activistas abogan por la hermenéutica coránica como herramienta para desvelar las potencialidades que el texto sagrado ofrece para la igualdad. Su discurso es, además, un ataque directo a las concepciones más tradicionales del feminismo occidental y sus representaciones a menudo estereotipadas de las musulmanas.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>Islamic feminisms were born in the 90’s and since then they have been subject to criticism by those who believe that it is not possible to fight for women's rights in the framework of a religion. However, the scholars and activists of the Islamic feminisms advocate for the Koranic hermeneutics as a tool to unveil the potential that the sacred text offers for equality. <p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>El artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación que tuvo como objetivo analizar los procesos socio-cognitivos del lenguaje ideológicamente patriarcal en la representación de la muerte de mujeres, a través del uso de los recursos micro y macro discursivos e icónicos del periódico. Para lo cual se analizó un diario de circulación local de Chilpancingo, Guerrero, México, con el método de la hermenéutica profunda y el análisis del discurso periodístico. Los resultados nos permiten concluir que en la elaboración de la información operan mecanismos lingüísticos que refuerzan y jerarquizan los roles de género, re-victimizan a las mujeres, normalizan la violencia de género por lo que no contribuyen a contextualizarla en su justa dimensión.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrac</strong></p><p>The article presents the results of an investigation that had as objective to analyze the socio-cognitive processes of the ideologically patriarchal language in the representation of the death of women, using micro and macro discursive and iconic resources of the newspaper. For that, a local circulation newspaper from Chilpancingo, Guerrero, Mexico, was analyzed using the method of deep hermeneutics and the analysis of journalistic discourse. Abstract According to previous reports, information could be leaked from GPU memory; however, the security implications of such a threat were mostly over-looked, because only limited information could be indirectly extracted through side-channel attacks. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm for recovering raw data directly from the GPU memory residues of many popular applications such as Google Chrome and Adobe PDF reader. Our algorithm enables harvesting highly sensitive information including credit card numbers and email contents from GPU memory residues. Evaluation results also indicate that nearly all GPU-accelerated applications are vulnerable to such attacks, and adversaries can launch attacks without requiring any special privileges both on traditional multi-user operating systems, and emerging cloud computing scenarios.

Media pembelajaran online adalah media yang menerapkan teknologi informasi untuk melakukan proses pembelajaran secara online yang bisa diakses kapan saja dan dimana saja. Penggunaan media pembelajaran online yang dulu kurang diminati, sekarang menjadi banyak peminat karena situasi Indonesia yang sedang mengalami pandemi Covid-19. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran online saat ini, yaitu jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, keterbatasan dalam mengakses, kurangnya fitur dan kurang interaktif. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka penyelesaian masalah yang ditawarkan yaitu suatu sistem pendukung keputusan menggunakan metode Analytical Hirarchy Process (AHP). Metode AHP adalah metode dalam pengambilan keputusan secara hirarki dan memberikan bobot terhadap kriteria dan alternatif yang telah ditentukan dengan mempertimbangkan prioritas tiap krtiteria dan alternatif. Dengan adanya sistem pendukung keputusan rekomedasi ini, diharapkan bisa membantu dosen dalam menentukan media pembelajaran online yang efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Berdasarkan hasil nilai akhir, maka urutan rekomendasi penggunaan media pembelajaran online adalah sebagai berikut : Google Classroom 0.33, Spada 0.27, Whatsapp 0.12, Google Meet 0.08, Zoom 0.08, Youtube 0.07 dan Discord 0.05. Berdasarkan pengujian fungsional sistem menggunakan 3 browser yaitu Mozilla Firefox 86.0, Google Chrome 97.0.4692.99 dan Microsoft Edge 97.0.1072.69, hasil yang diperoleh adalah semua tampilan halaman dan fungsi setiap halaman berjalan dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian akurasi antara perhitungan manual dan perhitungan sistem, diperoleh rerata persentase error adalah 11% dan total persentase keakuratan adalah 89% dengan metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process.

<p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>Varios estudios apuntan hacia la reproducción de la desigualdad por territorio, clase y género, destacando la discriminación femenina en el pasado, especialmente en Portugal, con altas tasas de analfabetismo, sobre todo durante <em>el Estado Novo. </em>Las prioridades de la política educativa desde 1974 han producido una reducción de las disparidades educativas. En este texto, se exponen algunos resultados de un proyecto de investigación, en el que se comprueba la hipótesis de trabajo de que cuanto mejor provistas de recursos están las famílias más cualificados son los individuos y cuanto menos equipadas y con más edad menos cualificados son, así como cuanto más jovenes más cualificados son. Más, se verifica entre las mujeres una más intensa movilidad educativa, aunque no profesional, que entre los hombres.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>Several studies sustain the thesis of reproduction of inequalites by territory, class and gender, highlighting female discrimination in the past, namely in Portugal, with high rates of illiteracy, specially during the <em>Estado Novo </em>of Salazar dictatorship. The priorities of education policies since 1974 have produced a reduction of educational disparities. In this text, I will give account of some results of a research project, in which is verified that the working hypothesis that the more well-resourced are the families more qualified the individuals are and the less well-resourced and older less qualified they are, as well as younger people are more qualified. Si la práctica de la co-maternidad aparece en ciertos discursos como garante de la solidaridad entre las mujeres, otros factores como la raza, la clase o las puras circunstancias individuales, modulan nuestras vidas como mujeres, trabajadoras y madres. En cualquier caso, en nuestras sociedades desarrolladas e hiper-competitivas, solo gracias a las redes de apoyo formales o informales entre mujeres y a una voluntad decidida de involucrare en la crianza de l@s hij@s por parte de nuestras parejas garantiza que la experiencia de ser madres pueda ser vivida como un gran milagro.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong><strong><br /> </strong>This text proposes a personal reflection on the multiple contradictions and challenges that the institution and the experience of motherhood pose to women, considering a very specific context: the American academy, to which I arrived as a (privileged) immigrant from Spain. <p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>Este artículo busca mostrar los efectos de la incursión del Estado chileno en la lucha contra las violencias hacia las mujeres en el ámbito doméstico. Para esto acudimos a dispositivos legales y políticos. Se mostrará el rol de las instituciones de justicia y del Servicio Nacional de la Mujer (SERNAM) en tanto que instrumentos de atención y protección a las personas afectadas por la problemática, durante los gobiernos de Michelle Bachelet (2006-2010) y de Sebastián Piñera (2010-2014). Durante el desarrollo del análisis, se caracterizará cómo entra en tensión el enfoque familiarista de la ley con los dispositivos propuestos por el Estado. Avanzando que el género como categoría crítica si bien es invisibilizado, de igual modo aparece como ordenador de relaciones de poder y dominación. Lo anterior ocurre tanto en la construcción de la legislación, como en la intervención de la problemática en niveles locales.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>This article seeks to show the effects of the incursion of Chilean State in the struggle against violence towards women in the domestic sphere. For this, we focus on political and legal devices. We will show the role of the Courts of Justice and National Women’s Service (SERNAM) as instruments of attention and protection for the people affected by the issue, during the latest governments of Michelle Bachelet (2006 – 2010) and Sebastian Piñera (2010-2014). During the development of the analysis, it will be characterized how the familiarist approach of the law comes into tension with the devices proposed by the State. Stating that gender as a critical category, while being invisible, likewise appears as a power and domination relation ordering. <p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>En el presente artículo nos proponemos analizar desde una perspectiva de género la relación entre las maternidades en parejas lesbianas y las nuevas tecnologías reproductivas (NTR); y explorar el vínculo entre ambas en relación a la dicotomía naturaleza-cultura y sexo-género. A partir de estos dos ejes de análisis reflexionamos sobre las posibles situaciones y dilemas de parejas lesbianas que deciden ser madres y llevar a cabo su proyecto parental, a través de un tratamiento con NTR. Se trata de un análisis teórico-político en el cual partimos de definir y problematizar la categoría de género como principal instancia de estudio, para luego desarrollar los ejes propuestos en torno a la problemática planteada.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>In the present article, we analyze, from a gender perspective, the relationship between maternity in lesbian couples and the new reproductive technologies (NRT); and explore the link between both in relation to the nature-culture and sex-gender dichotomy. From these two axes of analysis, we reflect on the possible situations and dilemmas of lesbian couples who decide to be mothers and carry out their parental project, through a treatment with NTR. <p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>Este artículo se enmarca dentro de la investigación <em>Los cinco sentidos del Distrito Cultural en Londres</em>, la cual forma parte del Proyecto de Excelencia 2016-2018 <em>Distritos Culturales: imágenes e imaginarios en los procesos de revitalización de espacios urbanos</em>. Escogiendo Bankside como punto de partida, para dicha investigación se han analizado diferentes emplazamientos como Crossbones Graveyard –antiguo cementerio donde se encuentran enterradas muchas de las mujeres que ejercieron la prostitución en el Distrito entre los siglos XII y XVII–. Desde su descubrimiento en la década de los 90 se han llevado a cabo numerosas acciones gracias a las cuales se ha conseguido no sólo su conservación, sino difundir la verdadera historia de las “Winchester Geese”.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>This paper is part of the research <em>Five senses of London Cultural District</em>, which is part of the Excellence Project 2016-2018 <em>Cultural Districts: images and imaginaries in </em><em>the processes of revitalization of urban spaces</em>. Choosing Bankside as a starting point, for this research different sites have been analysed such as Crossbones Graveyard –which is an old graveyard where many of the women who practiced prostitution in the District between the twelfth and seventeenth centuries were buried. <p><strong>Resumen</strong></p><p>Ni el género ni la sexualidad se dejan encorsetar dentro de unas normas que informan cómo deben ser y actuar hombres y mujeres para ser reconocidos socialmente como normales. Tanto el género como el sexo son susceptibles de desbordamiento de dichos encuadres rígidos, porque tal desbordamiento responde a lo real vivenciado por cualquier hombre o mujer. Las normas son un constructo artificial que no responde a la auténtica identidad genérica y sexual de cada sujeto, que es mucho más compleja que el reduccionismo monolítico que quiere demarcar la diferencia entre masculino y femenino. Dicha separación tan tajante no puede explicar la coexistencia de ambas características en un mismo sujeto ni las pretensiones de los transgéneros de ser considerados con una identidad que desmiente su sexo biológico, ni la angustia de los transexuales convencidos de estar atrapados en un cuerpo equivocado.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong><strong><br /> </strong>Neither gender nor sexuality is allowed to be curtailed within norms that inform how men and women should be and act to be socially recognized as normal. Both gender and sex are susceptible to overflowing of such rigid frames, because such an overflow responds to the real thing experienced by any man or woman. Norms are an artificial construct that does not respond to the authentic generic and sexual identity of each subject, which is much more complex than the monolithic reductionism that wants to demarcate the difference between male and female. A partir del año 2005, atravesó una reforma que jerarquizó su rol en las políticas de Estado y gestó un nuevo modelo de adjudicación de tierras: las experiencias asociativas. Ese mismo año, el nuevo gobierno impulsó la transversalización de género en el Estado, impulso que anclara en el INC a partir del 2013. Este artículo analiza desde una perspectiva de género la reforma refundacional y la nueva política de tierras, develando la ceguera de género de la reforma y evidenciando desafíos pendientes para la transversalización de género en el diseño de la principal modalidad de adjudicación de tierras públicas. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p><strong></strong>In Uruguay, the National Institute of Colonization is the institution resposible for the adjudication of land by the State, aimed at the rational distribution of land and its access by the most vulnerable rural population. Since 2005, the INC went through a reform that prioritized its role in the policies of the State and created a new model of land adjudication: associative experiences of colonization. In that same year, the new government promoted gender mainstreaming in the State, impulse that took roots in the INC from 2013 onwards. Las mujeres de grupos minorizados que han conseguido acceder a la educación han levantado sus voces y utilizado su potencial creativo a favor de las silenciadas de su cultura, a las que no alcanzaban el feminismo blanco occidental. Abstract QUIC has been developed by Google to improve the transport performance of HTTPS traffic. It currently accounts for approx. 7% of the global Internet traffic. In this work, we investigate the feasibility of user tracking via QUIC from the perspective of an online service. Our analysis reveals that the protocol design contains violations of privacy best practices through which a tracker can passively and uniquely identify clients across several connections. This tracking mechanisms can achieve reduced delays and bandwidth requirements compared to conventional browser fingerprinting or HTTP cookies. This allows them to be applied in resource- or time-constrained scenarios such as real-time biddings in online advertising. To validate this finding, we investigated browsers which enable QUIC by default, e.g., Google Chrome. Our results suggest that the analyzed browsers do not provide protective measures against tracking via QUIC. However, the introduced mechanisms reset during a browser restart, which clears the cached connection data and thus limits achievable tracking periods. To mitigate the identified privacy issues, we propose changes to QUIC’s protocol design, the operation of QUIC-enabled web servers, and browser implementations.

Pencurian data digital sangat meresahkan pengguna media sosial, terlebih pengguna Facebook dan Instagram yang merupakan media sosial dengan jumlah pengguna terbanyak. Browser yang digunakan untuk mengakses media sosial harus terjamin keamanannya. Analisis browser untuk mengetahui browser mana yang paling aman digunakan untuk mengakses media sosial sangat penting. Agar pengguna media sosial tidak perlu khawatir terjadi pencurian data. Browser yang akan dianalisis yaitu Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, dan Microsoft Edge. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan skenario dengan menggunakan teknik live forensics agar data yang didapatkan masih terekam dalam Random Access Memory (RAM), khususnya data volatile seperti email dan password. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan bukti digital seperti email, password, username, dan data-data pribadi lainnya dengan menggunakan tools FTK Imager. A nossa abordagem centra-se na problemática do pacifismo e educação, em Portugal, no século XXI. Consideramos o ciberespaço como arena para a sua constituição como problema social. Após pesquisas exploratórias identificámos as expressões “pacifismo e educação”, “educação e pacifismo” e “educação para a paz” como ponto de partida para a constituição de um acervo documental. A pesquisa realizou-se na web 2.0, mobilizando como browser, o Chrome, e com recurso a um motor de busca, o Google. Como restrições estabeleceram-se a localização (Portugal) e a língua (português). As fontes foram sujeitas a análise documental com recurso ao método crítico. O estudo permitiu-nos: caracterizar a diversidade de fontes em presença e as audiências a que se destinam; identificar organizações e atores, argumentos, diferentes posicionamentos e objetivos; elaborar uma leitura compreensiva da educação para a paz, em Portugal, como problema socioeducativo.

AbstractThird party apps that work on top of personal cloud services, such as Google Drive and Drop-box, require access to the user’s data in order to provide some functionality. Through detailed analysis of a hundred popular Google Drive apps from Google’s Chrome store, we discover that the existing permission model is quite often misused: around two-thirds of analyzed apps are over-privileged, i.e., they access more data than is needed for them to function. In this work, we analyze three different permission models that aim to discourage users from installing over-privileged apps. In experiments with 210 real users, we discover that the most successful permission model is our novel ensemble method that we call Far-reaching Insights. Far-reaching Insights inform the users about the data-driven insights that apps can make about them (e.g., their topics of interest, collaboration and activity patterns etc.) Thus, they seek to bridge the gap between what third parties can actually know about users and users’ perception of their privacy leakage. The efficacy of Far-reaching Insights in bridging this gap is demonstrated by our results, as Far-reaching Insights prove to be, on average, twice as effective as the current model in discouraging users from installing over-privileged apps. In an effort to promote general privacy awareness, we deployed PrivySeal, a publicly available privacy-focused app store that uses Far-reaching Insights. Based on the knowledge extracted from data of the store’s users (over 115 gigabytes of Google Drive data from 1440 users with 662 installed apps), we also delineate the ecosystem for 3rd party cloud apps from the standpoint of developers and cloud providers. Finally, we present several general recommendations that can guide other future works in the area of privacy for the cloud. To the best of our knowledge, ours is the first work that tackles the privacy risk posed by 3rd party apps on cloud platforms in such depth.
