Even if the primary emphasis was on Vision Zero in road traffic, our search also included documents criticizing Vision Zero policies in other safety areas, such as public health, the construction and mining industries, and workplaces in general. Based on the findings, we identify and systematically characterize and classify the major arguments that have been put forward against Vision Zero. The most important arguments against Vision Zero can be divided into three major categories: moral arguments, arguments concerning the (goal-setting) rationality of Vision Zero, and arguments aimed at the practical implementation of the goals. We also assess the arguments. Of the 13 identified main arguments, 6 were found to be useful for a constructive discussion on safety improvements.

Abstract:
AbstractThe new normal is a new order created to adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic, a new habit built on adaptation to promote a clean and healthy lifestyle. The pandemic is a real-life example of a volatile-uncertain-complex-ambiguous (VUCA) world. It has resulted in huge changes in leadership and management of business entities. The goal of this study is to analyze digital leader characteristics from related digital leadership papers on the world wide web and develop a digital leader framework. Google Scholar was used as a web browser tool to collect data. The study’s keywords included digital leadership, digital leaders, digital leader characteristics, digital leader qualities, digital leader traits, leadership traits for a new normal age, and leadership skill for a new normal age. The synthesis matrix techniques with congruence index of sources technique have been used to analyze the content of the literature review. For further model development, the accuracy of essential aspects from at least three sources was required. This study discovered 61 high-quality digital leaders from seven journals. The finalized digital leader characteristics have been synthesized and analyzed by using congruence index criterion, which requires a minimum three sources. According to the findings of this study, ten characteristics of digital leaders met this criterion: innovative visionary, digital intelligence, agile, role model, diversity champion, creative, knowledge-oriented, digital talent scout, employee-oriented, and business intelligence. These characteristics were used to develop a model called “Ten Characteristics of a Digital Leader for the New Normal Age.”

Abstract:
The h-index is an important bibliographic measure used to assess the performance of researchers. Van Bevern et al. [Artif. Intel., to appear] showed that, despite computational worst-case hardness results, substantial manipulation of the h-index of Google Scholar author profiles is possible by merging articles. Complementing this work, we study the opposite operation, the splitting of articles, which is arguably the more natural operation for manipulation and which is also allowed within Google Scholar. We present numerous results on computational complexity (from linear-time algorithms to parameterized computational hardness results) and empirically indicate that at least small improvements of the h-index by splitting merged articles are easily achievable.

The research's data was collected from the United Nations website, Dimension AI, and Google Scholar, and it was then presented in a descriptive manner. The research presented in this paper raises awareness of the ways that electronic engagement in society influences Indonesia's digital transformation. Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) in Iran. IPT effectively treats major depressive disorder (MDD) and is well matched with Iranian culture, where interpersonal relations are important and people consider themselves part of a family and a community before they see themselves as individuals. Indeed, Iranian culture values relationships, especially family ties. To understand the extent of the dissemination of IPT across Iran and learn of adaptations made for the Iranian cultural context, the authors conducted searches in 6 bibliographical databases (Google Scholar, SID, Magiran, Sivilica, Irandoc, and Adineh book) by searching “interpersonal psychotherapy” in Persian. These studies show that adaptations of IPT retained its basic structure. However, it may be unacceptable to directly ask about some subjects and issues in questionnaires. Areas to assess carefully relate to sexual relationships, having a friend of the opposite sex, and substance/alcohol misuse or addiction. The chapter then looks at a case example before reflecting on the future of IPT in Iran.

Abstract:
The growing need for bioactive metabolites necessitates an efficient method of extracting and processing diverse plant extracts. The majority of the existing literature focused on determining the influence of extraction procedure on plant extracts. However, the process used to dry plant extracts after extraction is also critical. The "gold standard" for drying plant extracts is lyophilization, also known as freeze drying, which is crucial for maintaining their quality and increasing their shelf life. A literature search using Pub Med and Google Scholar was done, and a summary of all the particular issues associated with lyophilization was drawn up. Due to the low process temperature, freeze-drying is used as a microencapsulation technology and is especially ideal for the entrapment and protection of delicate bioactive chemicals. The zeta potential, poly dispersity index (PDI), and minimum particle size are typically used to optimize the stability of lyophilized extracts. In this review, the impact of lyophilization on the stability of plant extracts has been explored

Abstract:
Metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes, cardiac hypertrophy, and atherosclerosis are linked to changes in diet, exercise, aging, and genetics. Nonetheless, several studies propose that other environmental factors and epigenetic regulations may also contribute remarkably to the rapid increase in the prevalence of these metabolic diseases. Histone deacetylases/acylases (HDACs) are epigenetic regulators that mediate transcriptional regulations via the removal of acetyl/acyl functionalities from key lysine side chains of nucleosomal histones. Indeed, the dynamic interplay between the acetylation state (catalyzed by histone acetyltransferase (HATs) and the deacetylation state (catalyzed by HDACs) of histone lysine side chains is responsible for epigenetic control. Of interest, it has been recognized that HDACs play an important role in numerous diseases, which include aging and metabolic diseases, viz., cancer, cardiac disorders, fibrosis, diabetes, inflammation, and others. Therefore, targeting HDACs with small molecules could help treat metabolic disorders. This chapter provides an overview of the catalytic deacetylation mechanisms of HDACs, their role in metabolic disorders, and the prospects of HDAC inhibitors, activators, and proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) in treating metabolic diseases. Toward this journey, an extensive literature search was conducted using the key phrase “HDACs and metabolic disorders” in Google Scholar and PubMed.

Abstract:
In order to propose quality assurance for cutting-edge transnational higher education management, this chapter first analyzes data on academic developmental journals while making use of the three widely known literature databases ISI Thomson, Scopus, and Google Scholar; the latter analyzed by the software Publish or Perish (PoP). Time series of data for documents and their citations provide indices; this chapter provides as most helpful indices the ISI impact factor, Scopus SNIP, and PoP AW index. A dozen of the most influential developmental journals are heuristically ranked by taking into account all available indices from all three literature databases. The series of historic bibliometric data since the 1950s shows the dynamics of the global emergence of developmental journals and developmental thought. Secondly, and as a possible template for similar initiatives in global higher education management, this chapter presents the recently established “Global Studies” (GS) Master’s curriculum at Graz University, Austria. Details on this novel curriculum’s targets, modules, courses, and practicals are given. GS embraces six modules and courses from different schools at university. Emphasis is placed on dialogic interdisciplinary understanding and interparadigmatic integration of multiple disciplines and perspectives, when managing education for the purpose of responsibly hedging and managing globalization and socio-economic global change in responsible partnership.
