Full textThe thesis deals with web design problems, when designers create web templates. Second chapter deals with considering basic file formats such as JPG, PNG and GIF, their advantages and disadvantages. There are analysed problems of image file format selection, network bandwidth usage and dependance from the web site size also the review of commonly used web graphics software and image compression comparison. Third chapter deals with web graphics development and optimization system. There is use case model for describing functional requirements of a system. In the work is described the architecture of a system, detailed description of class diagram with used methods and functions description in detail. All classes are clearly explained by usage and interface. Also third chapter deals with activity diagrams represented as step-by-step workflows of major components in a system. Testing material of created web graphics development and optimization system is given too. Fourth chapter deals with user documentation. There are explained menu items, drawing tools, and their parameters, color selection tools, transparency, brightness, image compression settings and image viewing and converting tools.

Also to perform research with goal to analyze if such visualization system helps to solve particular problems for operators. During this work will be trying to answer the question if 3D elements can be more helpful than 2D elements. Microsoft DirectX SDK is used to create visualization system. Only a specific part of running 2D visualization system is created. Research is performed to identify if created system can be more helpful in identifying and localizing system events.

Full textObjectives of the work: Literature analysis on use and construction of the three-dimensional connections, analysis of graphic tools used for construction of the three dimensional objects, the analysis of main computer languages for building the virtual reality, and establishing a model/web site of three dimensional connections by implementing investigated tools for three dimensional graphics. Reference base: Different tools for construction, modulation and data processing of the three dimensional environments, literature references. Three dimensional connections could be established by implementing X3D tools or by first using the programs for construction of three dimensional objects (for example CAD, 3ds max, Maya) and connecting them later. Virtual reality could be described using VRML and X3D languages.

Full textIn the Master works collection "Black Fire" goes about the dangers of addiction. The word "addiction" has many different meanings. It describes people who have morbid propensity. General feature of persons, who are addicted to alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex, food, etc.., is helplessness before his illness. The man becomes the main focus of graphic works. The hint about the main object dependencies appears in each piece. The human body parts or clues are represented in this work. There are elements of geometric shapes. It's like warning signs icons, which have to warn about the risk in each human environment. Often the person does not see a risk. Creative works promote to think and feel. Works require emotional contact. Work problem - addiction. Any addiction can be defined as the recurrent behavior, which temporarily reduces unpleasant emotional state or to weaken it, but eventually, this repetitive behavior create intense status. Dependence is not caused by the substance or object is used, but the use of a substance or object (usage), for emotional balance. Most of the people suffer from some kind of addiction. Topicality of the work is related to today's society obsessed with various addictions. This is proved by a variety of behaviors that arise addiction of illness. People are not able to cope with negative emotions. Often they choose the easier way and resort to a faster impact on distribution patterns of conduct. Resumo: Nesta tese a teoria passa consciente pelo terreno movediço da análise, para o terreno sólido dos fatos. A intenção, os modelos, as referências, a atitude tomada na construção dos trabalhos realizados, e o adensamento de imagens provocaram uma leitura de meus trabalhos formulada agora nesta tese. Esta leitura pretende demonstrar, também através de uma exposição, a importância de um método constituído em um ateliê. Local onde o processo de realização e a construção das ideias de expressão plástica não são lineares, com começo, meio e fim, e possuem derivações poéticas, com um ir e vir sugerindo uma estrutura helicoidal. Partindo de dois procedimentos básicos: um clássico ou acadêmico, realizado através do conhecimento formal e o segundo: espontâneo, feito seguindo critérios subjetivos com relação ao ponto, à linha e à mancha gráfica, escolhemos várias séries de gravuras, projetos realizados em marcenaria e fotos do ateliê. As gravuras, agora apresentadas, foram feitas em um período que abrange 18 anos e intitulam-se Caos Aparente. Durante a pesquisa deste doutorado, esses trabalhos foram escolhidos para buscar um outro significado dos sinais gráficos.
Abstract: In this dissertation, theory runs consciously through the volatile terrain of analysis toward the solid terrain of facts. The intention, models, references and attitude taken in constructing the artwork as well as the deeper working on the images provoked a reading of my work that is formulated in this dissertation. Besides the exhibit, this reading intends to demonstrate the importance of a method constituted in a workshop a place were the process of creation and the construction of ideas of plastic expression are not linear going from beginning, then the middle to the end. Rather there are poetic derivatives, within a coming and going that suggests a helical structure. Various series of prints were chosen among projects that were conducted and among workshop photographs; from these, two basic procedures were the starting point, the first being a classical or academic procedure, conducted by means of formal knowledge and the second being spontaneous, undertaken according to subjective criteria in relation to the point, line and graphical smear. The prints that are presented were produced over a period of 18 years and they have been named Apparent Chaos. During this doctoral study, these works were chosen as a means of signifying the graphic sign.

Full textThe rapid spread of personal computers, the use of computer technologies in mass production and individual creative work have encouraged the appearance of the new subculture. The traditional artistic thinking and awareness have to be changed. This is clearly understood seen in student’s activity, their imagination and a changed view of today’s environment. The problem. General art education is not sufficient enough: student’s self-expression is limited, artistic skills are not being well developed. That is the reason why computer graphics should be introduced in to school curriculum in art as a means helping to understand the language of art. This paper deals with computer graphics capabilities: how and where it can be used in the artistic education, what its basic didactic possibilities are. The data, got obtained as a result of the experiment, will help realize how the level of students’ understanding of the artistic language will rise if computer graphics is used alongside with traditional art education, how the range of students’ creative abilities will widen.
