Abstract:
The article presents the results of uranium-lead dating of zircon from fine-grained granite of the Osnytsia block of the Volyn megablock of the Ukrainian Shield. The variety of granites of the Osnitsky complex is manifested starting from their appearance. They are dominated by massive medium-grained rocks, limitedly developed fine-grained, even less common coarse-grained varieties. The age of typical Osnitsky granites, determined by the uranium-lead method according to zircon, is 1980-1950 million years. Granitoids after gabbroids were formed, and their rooting took place in two stages. At the

The age of granites of the Chyhyryn massif – 2040.0 ± 1.1 million years – was determined by the uranium-lead isotope method for accessory monazite. According to the results of mineral studies of zircon crystals, the conclusion that granites this mass, as well as granitoids of Novoukrainsky, is formed due to the crust, which indicates the presence of relict nuclei of substrate rocks in the middle of the crystals of this mineral. It is proposed to combine in one (for example, Kropyvnytskyi) complex All two-field spar granitoids of the Ingul megablock, leaving in the composition of the new Ukrain

It was made an attempt to generalize geochemical data of Nb and Ta concentration in the most common igneous rocks of the Ukrainian Shield (USh). In the majority of widely distributed rocks of the USh (normal and subalkaline granitoids) the Nb and Ta concentration are similar to upper crust but lower the accepted Clark value for acidic rocks. In the more differentiated rapakivi granites concentrations of these elements reach or exceed the Clark’s concentrations (up to 35 ppm). For the worlds democracies, the Global Financial Crisis of 2008–9 was catalyst for the most precipitous economic downturn in eight decades. This book examines how the GFC and ensuing Great Recession affected the workings of mass politics in the established democracies. The initial wave of research on the crisis concluded it did little to change the established relationships between voters, parties, and elections. Yet, nearly a decade since the initial shock, we are witnessing a wave of political changes, the extent to which has not been fully explained by existing studies. How did the economic

Abstract:
Accrediting agencies are autonomous bodies commissioned mainly to grant accreditation to academic institutions that meet the prescribed quality standards. The accreditation process takes through a detailed systematic procedure that considers reviewing of the academic institution operations, whether teaching and learning offered to meet the quality standards, and encourages improvement to international standards. All accreditations offered by accrediting bodies call for institutional accreditation before any other type of accreditation is granted. Accreditation can be classified as international and national, where the process in both the methods have some common and different steps. Each accrediting body under the designated government authority has prescribed procedures, terms, and conditions to be fulfilled by institutions for the accreditation process. OAAA, CAA, and the NCAAA are the more active accrediting bodies operational in the GCC region commissioned in Oman, UAE, and KSA, respectively.

Abstract:
The chapter outlines the main features of the post-crisis regulatory regime for banks in the European Union. It traces the evolution of the approach taken by EU legislators which transformed the deregulation which prevailed prior to the Great Financial Crisis (GFC) into a regulatory regime which though far from financial repression known in the 1970s, is oriented towards functionally prioritizing financial stability and banks’ functions in the broader economy. This is achieved through co-responsibilization of the banking sector for public objectives, explicit regulation of structure and operations as well as far-reaching powers granted to new oversight authorities. The chapter explains the features of such a new bespoke regulatory regime for EU cross-border banking drawing on the new framework for bank crisis prevention and management, that is EU resolution law.
