Permasalahan terkait ilegal downloading masih menjadi masalah bagi para pencipta lagu atau musisi di Indonesia. Dalam UUHC dan UU ITE juga telah diatur terkait perlindungan terhadap pelanggaran hak cipta melalui media internet, Pada kenyataanya, pemberlakuan UU tersebut kurang tegas. Berdasarkan penjelasan yang diberikan terhadap uraian diatas, maka penelitian ini diberi judul “Perlindungan Hukum Bagi Pencipta Lagu Pada Media Internet (Kajian Sosiologi Hukum).”
Perumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perlindungan hukum bagi pencipta lagu pada media internet, bagaimana tanggung jawab pihak penyedia jasa Download Mp3 lagu gratis terhadap pelanggaran hak cipta melalui media internet terhadap pencipta lagu, Persepsi masyarakat terkait perlindungan terhadap lagu-lagu yang diedarkan di media internet.
Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis sosiologis. Spesifikasi penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif analitis. Metode penyajian data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara wawancara langsung dengan masyarakat atau mengisi kuisioner di internet. Analisis yang dipergunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan hukum pencipta lagu sudah otomatis dilindungi oleh UUHC, pemerintah juga sudah mengupayakan untuk pemblokiran situs download lagu ilegal tetapi realitanya masyarakat masih banyak mengunduh lagu ilegal pada media internet,Pertanggungjawaban situs penyedia jasa download lagu gratis, dalam perkembangan pelanggaran hak cipta melalui media internet biasanya dibebankan kepada Internet Service Provider (ISP) jika provider menyediakan fasilitas yang memungkinkan terjadinya pelanggaran hak cipta. Penyedia situs justru menjadi sebuah penyimpangan, situs tersebut mengalihkan kedudukannya sebagai situs illegal menjadi situs legal dengan memposisikan diri mereka sebagai situs pencari lagu, penyedia lagu dalam hal tersebut telah bertentangan dengan Undang-undang. Persepsi masyarakat tentang individu yang melakukan download lagu hal yang salah karena melanggar UU Hak Cipta. Masyarakat sadar pelanggaran Hak Cipta, namun menurut fakta di lapangan masyarakat masih mendownload lagu tanpa izin. Perilaku ini dilakukan karena perlindungan lagu oleh Pemerintah kurang kuat. Belum ada sanksi yang tegas untuk penyedia lagu gratis di internet dan pengunduh lagu gratis di internet.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penyelengaraan jaringan sekolah, terutama dalam tahapan penyediaan, pelayanan, dan pembinaan jaringan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) terhadap pakar dan praktisi yang telah menyelenggarakan jaringan sekolah. Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa faktor pendukung aspek penyediaan jaringan adalah SDM yang terstruktur dengan tugas, fungsi dan tanggung jawab yang jelas; dan adanya berbagai alternatif aplikasi web server open source. Faktor penghambatnya adalah: kurang dukungan pengambil kebijakan seperti pimpinan, kurang kerjasama pihak terkait, penyedia jasa internet dan lain-lain.
Dalam aspek pelayanan faktor pendukung adalah content, kemudahan akses, registrasi, discount pulsa internet, jaminan keamanan, tidak adanya tagihan, dan lain-lain. Situs yang berbasis teks, user friendly, fasilitas link, FAQ, download, helpdesk, space, dan promosi langsung kepada user untuk menjaga loyalitasnya. Faktor penghambat adalah belum tersedianya fasilitas search engine content yang memadai dan menyulitkan provider untuk promosi; kurangnya insentif bagi user, kesinambungan pelayanan, e-mail gratis, dan target yang akan dicapai.

Kabupaten Brebes yang terletak di pantai utara Jawa (Pantura) memiliki penduduk yang banyak serta wilayah yang luas, sehingga harus dikondisikan aman dan kondusif oleh pemerintah daerah setempat. Walaupun patroli intens dilakukan oleh Polres dan Kodim, diharapkan masyarakat peduli dan pro aktif melaporkan gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat melalui saluran yang mudah dan bertanggungjawab. Belum adanya media yang menghubungkan pihak pemerintah daerah tersebut dengan masyarakat, menyebabkan komunikasi antar kedua pihak tersebut tidak efektif dan efisien. Di era saat ini, aplikasi menjadi media yang tepat untuk mengatasi masalah di atas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang aplikasi layanan masyarakat untuk mempercepat pelaporan tindak kejahatan serta pusat informasi warga Brebes agar segera ditangani oleh Polres, 17 Polsek, dan Pemda Brebes. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan perancangan aplikasi ini menggunakan metode MDLC. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi bernama MANDALUNGAN yang dapat di download gratis untuk membantu menurunkan gangguan kamtibmas serta menjadi harapan ideal masyarakat terhadap kinerja Pemerintah daerah.

AbstrakKehidupan masyarakat perkotaan seperti tidak terpisahkan dengan penggunaaan smartphone. Perangkat ini memfasilitasi penggunaan berbagai perangkat lunak yang sekarang lebih akrab disebut aplikasi yang berperan memudahkan berbagai urusan mulai dari pemesanan tiket, paket wisata, toko online, hantaran makanan , dan perawatan teknis telepon seperti pembersih file dan antivirus. Aplikasi ini dapat diunduh dari penyedia seperti app gallery atau playstore, baik secara gratis maupun berbayar. Aplikasi yang gratis ketika digunakan tiba-tiba muncul iklan dan pengguna sering terjebak menekan tombol beli, mainkan game atau install, padahal tidak menyukai iklan ini. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara iklan pop up menjebak pengguna secara visual dan respon pengguna terhadap fenomena ini. Menggunakan metode penelitian visual dengan instrumen observasi visual terhadap sampel, wawancara kepada ahli dan kuesioner kepada pengguna. This device facilitates the use of various software that are now more familiarly called applications. The applications that play a role in abridging the numerous matters ranging from ticket reservations, tour packages, online shops, food delivery, and telephone technical maintenance such as file cleaners and antivirus. This application can be download from providers such as gallery apps or play store, both free and paid. Applications that are free when used suddenly appear ads and users are often stuck pressing the buy button, play the game, or install, even though they do not like this ad. This research is to find out how to pop up ads visually trap users and user responses to this phenomenon. This research used visual research methods with visual observation instruments on samples, interviews with experts, and questionnaires to users. From the results of the triangulation of data, the results show that pop upads that are more concerned with exposure and distribution tend to trap smartphone users, even though users do not want to buy the advertised product.Keywords: application, pop up ads, smartphone

Digital literacy can be used as a means of learning because the millennial era currently has digital sources of information that are liked by the public. Information technology-based learning materials are very easy to find and download in digital form and download free of charge so that people in various circles are very easy to get the information needed, as well as students. Universitas Terbuka which organizes an education system remotely, teaching materials which are the main learning materials apart from being provided in printed form, is also developed in digital form. Learning aid materials in the form of online tutorials and web tutorials (tuweb) is also in digital form because online tutorials and tuweb to access them must be connected to the internet. The spread of information in digital form requires knowledge or the ability to find or use these digital information sources. Researchers raised problems about digital literacy in distance learning, especially students of the Library Science Study Program, FHISIP-UT. The research method used is quantitative with the addition of qualitative data. The results showed that the Open University students, especially the Library Science students of FHISIP-UT, already have the ability to terms of digital literacy. Because we often and always use a PC / Laptop at home or office, use a cellphone/smartphone/tablet, and use the internet.
Literasi digital sering dikaitkan dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin marak saat ini. Literasi digital dimungkinkan untuk digunakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran, karena jaman millennial saat ini tersebar sumber-sumber informasi yang berbentuk digital dan disukai oleh masyarakat. Materi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi, sangat mudah ditemukan dan diunduh dalam bentuk digital serta diunduh secara gratis, sehingga masyarakat dalam berbagai kalangan sangat mudah mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan, demikian juga para pelajar maupun mahasiswa. Universitas Terbuka yang menyelenggarakan sistem pendidikan secara jarak jauh, bahan ajar yang merupakan bahan pembelajaran utama selain disediakan dalam bentuk tercetak, juga dikembangkan dalam bentuk digital. Materi bantuan belajar berupa tutorial online dan tutorial web (tuweb) juga dalam bentuk digital, karena tutorial online dan tuweb untuk mengaksesnya harus tersambung dengan internet. Dengan tersebarnya informasi dalam bentuk digital ini, maka diperlukan pengetahuan atau kemampuan dalam mencari atau menggunakan sumber informasi digital tersebut. Peneliti mengangkat permasalahan tentang literasi digital dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh khususnya mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Ilmu Perpustakaan FHISIP-UT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan tambahan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian bahwa mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka khususnya mahasiswa Ilmu Perpustakaan FHISIP-UT sudah mempunyai kemampuan dalam hal lierasi digital. Open-source software can be acquired by downloading it for free from the internet, where the software code is published to the public or internet users. Generally, people will fix the software weaknesses and modify its display or language. Then, the repaired software is uploaded and published back to the internet. At the same time, other people will also download this open-source software application and fix other flaws. The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits and roles of open-source software for Abdurrab University students. The results of this study indicate an increase in student interest in using open-source applications and the influence, utilization, and role of open-source software for Abdurrab University students. Game Belajar Huruf Angka Balita merupakan salah satu game digital berbasis edukasi yang bisa ditemui dan diunduh di PlayStore secara gratis dimana sampai tahun 2017 telah diunduh sebanyak seratus ribu unduhan dalam konteks game lokal. Salah satu yang diunggulkan dalam konten game ini yakni fitur yang sederhana sehingga mudah dipahami oleh pengguna game terutama anak-anak. Penelitian ini menawarkan kajian menggunakan model Player experience dalam konteks dasar User Experience dengan didukung menggunakan metode kuantitatif-kualitatif serta pengamatan. Tujuan pembelajaran akan berjalan dengan baik tentunya harus melibatkan banyak peran yang terlibat di dalamnya. Peran tersebut antara lain adanya peran guru sebagai pengganti orang tua disekolah, siswa yang menjalankan kegiatan pembelajaran, dan juga peran orang tua untuk memonitoring siswa di rumah. Hal ini juga tentunya didukung dengan adanya komunikasi yang baik. Selain itu, untuk memudahkan guru dalam mengevaluasi hasil belajar siswa. Dengan kata lain, pentingnya buku penghubung antara guru dan orang tua untuk memudahkan komunikasi antara guru dan siswa dalam mengontrol perilaku siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tim memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan mengenai suatu aplikasi yang dapat di downloat gratis melalui Android yang bernama ClassDojo. Luaran yang akan dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah purwarupa berupa Aplikasi ClassDojo. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini di harapkan dapat membantu para pengajar dapat memberikan penilaian dan mengelola kelas dengan baik.

A community service program has been carried out which aims to introduce MindMapple software in making concept maps and learning media in increasing the learning motivation of TRAMPIL Middle School students. The activity participants were all Trampil Middle School teachers. Mindmapple software can be downloaded for free or paid. This software can be used by teachers in creating concept maps in the teaching and learning process. Besides being easy to use, this program can also train creativity from the teacher in making concept maps. After doing activities around 80% of teachers who are accustomed to operating laptops can easily operate the MindMapple program. While 20% of teachers who are constrained to operate a laptop still need guidance in applying mindmapple software. The output of this community service is a module on the introduction of software.Abstrak. Telah dilakukan program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan memperkenalkan software MindMapple dalam pembuatan peta konsep dan media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa SMP TRAMPIL. Peserta kegiatan adalah seluruh guru SMP Trampil. Software MindMapple dapat diunduh secara gratis maupun berbayar. Software ini dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam membuat peta konsep dalam proses belajar mengajar. Selain mudah penggunaannya, program ini juga dapat melatih kekreatifitasan dari guru dalam pembuatan peta konsep. Setelah melakukan kegiatan sekitar 80 % guru yang terbiasa mengoperasikan laptop dapat dengan mudah mengoperasikan program MindMapple. Sedangkan 20% guru yang terkendala mengoperasikan laptop masih perlu bimbingan dalam mengaplikaskan software MindMapple. Luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah modul tentang pengenalan software.

La compréhension et la prédiction de l’endommagement par fatigue est un enjeu majeur dans la conception de l’échangeur de chaleur sodium-gaz de la prochaine génération de réacteurs nucléaire. Des essais cycliques à rupture ont été réalisés sur des éprouvettes en acier 316L à différentes épaisseurs, pour deux tailles de grains très différentes afin de quantifier l’influence de ces paramètres sur la durée de vie. Ensuite, des essais cycliques interrompus par des séances de microscopie (MEB) ont permis la compréhension des stades précoces de l'endommagement par fatigue induits par une forte taille de grains.Des simulations numériques par éléments finis de la déformation cyclique d’agrégats cristallins ont été réalisées avec le logiciel Cast3M. La localisation de la plasticité sous forme de bandes de glissement persistantes (BGPs) est considérée. L’accroissement de la concentration des lacunes au sein des BGPs induisant une dilatation de ces dernières est introduit. Des prédictions de l’évolution des extrusions formées au travers des joints impactés par les BGPs ainsi que les champs de contraintes associés ont été étudiées. L’ensemble de ces prédictions couplées à deux modèles d’endommagement ont permis la prédiction du nombre de cycles à initiation de microfissures intergranulaires. Finalement, des comparaisons entre mesures expérimentales et prédictions (i) des extrusions des BGPs au travers des joints de grains et (ii) du nombre de cycles à initiation des fissures sont réalisées. Les effets de matériau, de nature des joints de grains et de chargement sur les mécanismes d’initiation de fissures de fatigue sont finalement discutésUnderstanding and predicting the fatigue damage is a major issue in the design of the sodium-gas heat exchanger of the next generation of nuclear reactors.Cyclic tests were carried out on 316L SS specimens with different thicknesses, for two very different grain sizes, in order to quantify the influence of these parameters on the fatigue lifetime. Then, cyclic tests interrupted by microscopy observations (SEM) allowed the understanding of the early stages of fatigue damage induced by a large grain size specimen. Finite element simulations of the cyclic deformation of crystalline aggregates were performed with the Cast3M software. The localization of plasticity in the form of persistent slip bands (PSBs) is considered. The increase of the vacancy concentration in the PSBs, leading to their dilatation is introduced. Predictions of the PSB extrusion through impinged GBs and of the associated stress fields were studied. All these predictions, coupled with two damage models, made possible to predict the number of cycles to intergranular microcrack initiation. Finally, comparisons between experimental measurements and predictions of (i) the PSB extrusion through GBs and (ii) the number of cycles to microcrack initiation are made. The effects of material, nature of GBs and loading conditions on fatigue crack initiation mechanisms are finally discussed

The COVID-19 global pandemic has affected everyone's day-to-day life. The COVID spread data is increasing rapidly which needs to be visualized in some format. The statistical data includes infected, recovered, and the death count which is visualized by various tools. This project presents an interactive dynamic dashboard to display the details about the COVID-19 patient reports, scheduled reports, timely reports, geographical reports including state-wise, district wise. It should have options to display the metrics using charts, graphs, etc. Application features include registration, download report in multiple formats, email the report, schedule a report, share a report. Users can check for Epass availability; the decision will be taken by checking the covid-affected counts on the source and destination. Patient details will be stored in the cloud. The model includes a prediction of upcoming covid-affected count using ML.

A typical undergraduate fluid dynamics course includes sections on Bernoulli’s equation, flow visualization, and lift and drag for external flows. The purpose of this work has been to develop a fully interactive, two-dimensional potential flow solver using a panel method for flow over thin-sail geometries to aid in student understanding of these topics. The user may specify either rigid sail shapes, or flexible sails in which the final equilibrium shapes are determined by the pressure distribution. The solver was developed in Fortran 90/95. The user interface and graphics routines were developed using the high-level plotting library DISLIN. A variety of controls are available to adjust sail shapes and angles-of-attack. Available graphics include velocity vectors, pressure coefficient contours, and streamlines. Lift, axial and normal force coefficients are also output in the form of bar graphs. The code was recently introduced in an undergraduate fluid dynamics class taught by the author, and is available from the author’s website for download.

At HTW Berlin material science is taught to first year students in combination with laboratory exercises on materials testing. Still, basic knowledge upon theory is necessary to work practically during lab sessions. Therefore homework reading is assigned and additionally lecture films guide students through the laboratory routine prior to class. Initially inspired by students these lecture films were conducted during a one term student semester project according to the peer-to-peer approach supervised by lecturers and film experts. Since establishing the lecture films in summer semester 2015 time consuming explanations were redundant and the students were prepared better gaining more knowledge during practical work than those who did not have access to the films. After watching the introductory films download activities increased and online lectures were prepared carefully. However, the initial increase in final test results is not valid taken into account all grades from 2015 up to now. Still, even if the academic output is not better with our without the implementation of lecture films, the better handling of laboratory equipment and the more smoothly running lab courses account for at least a part time success.

Undergraduate required fluid dynamics and elective aerodynamics courses include substantial material on analysis techniques for forces acting on bodies in external flows. These methods include momentum integral analysis, and, for aerodynamic applications, lift computed using circulation and the Kutta-Joukowski theorem. The author presented in a previous FED meeting code development and preliminary classroom results for the implementation of a fully interactive, two-dimensional potential flow solver for flow over both rigid and flexible thin-airfoil (or sail) geometries. The intent of the development was to design a code that could be used as a virtual wind tunnel. The solver was developed in Fortran 90/95 with user interface and graphics routines developed using the high-level plotting library DISLIN for use on Windows-based computers. The analysis code solves the potential flow equations for single or multiple airfoils using a vortex panel method in which the vortex strength varies linearly along the panel and is continuous from one panel to the next. A variety of controls are available to adjust airfoil shapes and angles-of-attack. The user may also specify either rigid thin airfoil shapes, or flexible airfoils in which the final equilibrium shapes are determined by the pressure distribution. Available graphics include velocity vectors, pressure coefficient contours, and streamlines. Lift, axial and normal force coefficients are also output in the form of bar graphs. Several improvements have been implemented in the code, based on early student feedback, to improve its suitability for educational purposes in fluid dynamics and aerodynamics classes. These include pressure plot distributions over the airfoils, the inclusion of standard NACA 4-digit airfoil definitions, the output of velocity and pressure data about a closed contour for use in circulation and momentum integral analysis calculations, and improvements regarding compatibility for use on computers of widely varying screen resolutions. In this work to be presented, recent improvements to the code, and subsequent educational/student learning results based on a series of Qualtrics online student survey questions are presented. These survey questions query the students understanding of a) momentum integral analysis, b) circulation, c) lift calculations using the Kutta-Joukowski theorem, d) airfoil-to-airfoil fluid flow interactions, e) the necessity for attention to details when performing engineering analysis. The code may be downloaded for use by educators and students at other universities.
