Abstract:
AbstractPrivate green spaces are considered an important part of urban greenery. However, the extent of private green spaces in an informal city like Kabul is unknown. To this end, this study has mapped out the private green spaces in the informal settlements of Kabul city. A Geographic Information System (GIS)-supervised image classification technique was used to identify these private green spaces in three of the 22 police districts (PDs) in the city. Briefly, the classification consisted of defining training samples, extraction of signature and classification of the imagery. As a result, 330.3 hectares were identified as private green spaces, which made up 12.3 % of the total area of informal settlements in these three districts. With 217.1 hectares, PD7 had the largest area of private green spaces among the three police districts, contributing to 65.7 % of the overall area of private green spaces, followed by PD8 (21.3 %) and PD16 (13 %). In future, the map generated in this study could be used to monitor, manage and conserve the existing urban greenery in the face of private green spaces. The results could also be utilised by the Kabul Municipality and other relevant departments to implement an upgrading programme in the informal settlements of Kabul city, which would lead to fulfilling the environmental needs of the residents.

Abstract:
Last December's World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting in Seattle—intended to inaugurate a "millennium round" of trade negotiations—had all the hallmarks of good theater. Prime coverage went to the spectacle in the streets: tens of thousands of demonstrators, window-smashing anarchists, an urban center paralyzed, police in riot gear, tear gas in abundance, and trade delegates milling about in frustration, unable to reach their conference hall. Inside the meeting disagreement was almost as strong, though more polite. In all likelihood the Seattle talks would have collapsed with or without the scenes in the streets. But the huge crowds outside the conference hall—bringing together an unlikely coalition of green, radical, religious, and labor groups—helped ensure that once-obscure questions of trade policy became issues of public concern both in the United States and abroad.

Abstract:
Police officers' threat perception of static images was examined using images reflecting the range of five threat categories on which police officers are trained. Thirteen experienced officers from a police departments in the southeastern United States participated in this study. Officers rated their perceived threat level for 110 images that were presented to them on a laptop computer. Each of these images was rated twice by each officer. Officers used all five categories to rate the stimuli, and their responses to the extremes (images rated as 1 or 5) were faster than responses to more ambiguous stimuli in the other categories. These results were generally consistent with predictions based on Fuzzy Signal Detection Theory. Further studies will evaluate performance with these images in the context of a signal detection task. Once fully developed, this tool could be used to evaluate new recruits' decision-making process before given the green light to carry a badge. These assessments could also be used as a modified training tool for experienced officers if the stimuli were to be placed in a semiimmersive environment.

<p>Traffic is significant issue in our nation, particularly in urban ranges. Aftereffect of this, activity clog issue happens. Crisis vehicle like rescue vehicle, fire unit, squad cars confront bunches of issue to achieve their goal on account of congested driving conditions, coming about loss of human lives. To minimize this issue we approach new idea name as ”Traffic control framework for blockage control and stolen Vehicle location”. In this framework activity freedom done by transforming Red flag into Green flag. We demonstrate idea of what is called ”Green wave”. Alongside this, we distinguish stolen vehicle by utilizing extremely advantageous RFID innovation. In the event that stolen vehicle is been distinguished, the framework gives ready sign through ringer. Framework sends Message with the assistance of GSM to Police station. In this framework we Use diverse RFID labels for recognizing rescue vehicle, stolen Vehicles. On the off chance that Red flag is on and IR sensor is initiated, then framework gives ringer alarm to movement police. This is novel framework which encourage great answer for comprehend traffic clog.</p>

Abstract:
Global capitalism is visibly showing up unacceptable inequalities and social contradictions. Three camps have emerged in the ruling class in response to over-accumulation, poverty, middle-class stagnation and environmental crisis: inclusive capitalism; militarised accumulation; the Green New Deal. All fractions adhere to neoliberal principles. Inclusive capitalism – neoliberalism with a nod to Keynesianism – means continued stagnation since it avoids the need for a social-democratic regulatory system. A turn to authoritarianism – the police state of twenty-first century neo-fascism, according to theorist William I. Robinson – is unlikely, though militarised accumulation is now an essential outlet for capital. Green capitalism, in which China is now the leading global investor, particularly with transnational public and private partners, neither breaks with neoliberalism, nor can potentially reverse environmental disaster. That would take social movements defining a Green New Deal for a sustainable capitalism to be an effective hegemonic bloc.

Abstract:
AbstractConflict between police, private security and political protesters is a topic that has been researched widely in criminology and other disciplines (e.g., Choudry 2019; Gilmore et al. 2019; Goyes and South 2017; Jackson et al. 2018; Rigakos 2002; South 1988; Weiss 1978). Adopting a green criminological lens, this article seeks to contribute to this rich body of research by examining police and private security responses to campaigning against opencast (open-pit) coal mining in Pont Valley, County Durham, United Kingdom (UK). Based on qualitative interviews, the article examines activists’ perceptions of responses to their campaign. Our findings reveal that rather than acting as neutral arbiters, police colluded with private interests, overlooking the abusive behavior of private security and bailiffs, particularly during the eviction of a protest camp at the proposed mining site. Activists believed that their right to protest was not respected, that their safety was jeopardized, and that police had willfully ignored a wildlife crime perpetrated by the mining company in order to enable mining to go ahead. Our article argues that the Pont Valley case fits into a wider pattern of repression of environmentalism in the UK, supporting Gilmore and colleagues’ (2019) argument that a progressive transformation in policing has been overstated.

Abstract:
This research aims to assist the police institution in preventing theft crimes that increased during the Covid-19 period by mapping areas prone to theft crimes based on the incident's location and the level of intensity of theft crimes. This research is empirical, managed quantitatively by collecting data through documentation and literature study. The results showed an increase in the number of theft crimes by 42.65% in Makassar City during the six months of the coronavirus pandemic period. This research also succeeded in mapping the locations prone to theft crimes, mostly in residents' homes rather than in the business center, the central area of money circulation. The research results also show that almost all sub-districts in Makassar City are the places where theft crimes occur, dominated by medium and high categories symbolized by red, yellow, and green color. This study recommends that police institutions pay more attention to residential areas, which are the areas where theft crimes most occur during the pandemic period. Furthermore, this research implies that it can become a reference for the police institution to prepare efforts to prevent theft crimes in Makassar City and other areas during the Covid-19 period.

Abstract:
The Indonesian Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) appears as an institution established by the government as a regional apparatus that its existence has a strategic position in the administration of regional government in order to create order, security, and obedience to local communities to regional regulations. Therefore, the function of the Satpol PP is to enforce regional regulations, one of which is the enforcement of local regulations regarding green line areas, but their implementation has encountered various obstacles. To help overcome this, a scientific study has a position to fill in the gap in the form of the absence of efforts to reveal the major function of Satpol PP and the legal obstacles to implementing its activities. To reveal this, the present study was designed using a normative legal research method design. Data were collected using a document study technique and analysed using a legal argumentation technique. The results showed that the function of SatPol PP in enforcing green line area regulations in Klungkung Regency is the functions of guidance, control function and supervision of the implementation of public order related to the green line area. The realisation of the SatPol PP function in enforcing the green line regulation has not been maximally executed because there are still several obstacles, such as the Klungkung Regency SatPol PP has not been able to take full action in enforcing the green line regulation law in the Klungkung Regency area, the lack of personnel carrying out structuring, the limited coaching and controlling activities, and lthe ack of public awareness of applicable regulations related to green line areas.

Concerning the politics of internal security on EUlevel, there was no change from the conservative to the new „red-green“ government. The reasons for this are not only to be seen in the fact, that the established parties – including the SPD – show no major ideological differences, when it comes to questions of law and order. They also lie in the bureaucratic structure of EU internal and justice affairs, which are dominated by the executive and by the police. Major democratic progress can only be achieved in the long run.

Excessive traffic and the insufficient number of parking spaces pose a challenge for the authorities of large urban centres, which is why it is important to effectively use the infrastructure resources. An example of actions that reduce efficiency regards unused cars in public parking. The discussed problem should be considered in the context of the impact on spatial order, and the phenomenon of misappropriation of public space. This article analyses Mobility Policy of the City of Wroclaw and data on the intervention of the Municipal Police of Wroclaw regarding the disposal of unused vehicles according to article 50a and 130a of Road Traffic Law. An integral part of the article is a survey examining the opinions of the local community. Unused cars have a negative impact on the quality of space and life of residents, which is manifested by a decrease in the efficiency of transport infrastructure, degradation of green areas, appropriation of public space and disturbance of spatial order

Abstract:
Using data from qualitative interviews and police reports, latent class analysis is used on a sample of 54 repeat stranger sexual offenders who committed 204 sexual assaults to identify discrete contexts present at the time of victim encounter that influence these offenders’ decision to use more than one location to commit their crimes. Five distinct classes are identified: residential outdoor common area, spontaneous/quiet outdoor site, residential home, active green space, and indoor/public gathering place. An investigation into the outcome(s) that most often result from the offender’s decision to move the victim during the sexual assault indicates that those who move the victim from an active green space overwhelmingly engage in sexual penetration, as well as forcing their victims to commit sexual acts on them. Crimes where the victim is moved from a residential home show evidence of the offender physically harming the victim as well as using more force than necessary to complete the assault. Implications for situational crime prevention are discussed.

Abstract:
Australia, along with nation-states internationally, has entered a new phase of environmentally focused activism, with globalised, coordinated and social media–enabled environmental social movements seeking to address human-induced climate change and related issues such as the mass extinction of species and land clearing. Some environmental protest groups such as Extinction Rebellion (XR) have attracted significant political, media and popular commentary for their sometimes theatrical and disruptive forms of nonviolent protest and civil disobedience. Drawing on green and cultural criminology, this article constitutes an autoethnographic account of environmental protest during the final stages of the initial COVID-19 lockdown in NSW, Australia. It takes as a case study a small protest by an XR subgroup called the Pedal Rebels. The article explores the policing of environmental protest from an activist standpoint, highlighting the extraordinary police resources and powers mobilised to regulate a small peaceful group of ‘socially distanced’ protesters operating within the existing public health orders. It places an autoethnographic description of this protest in the context of policing practice and green and cultural criminology. Additionally, it outlines the way in which such policing is emboldened by changes to laws affecting environmental protest, making activism an increasingly risky activity.

Abstract:
The article is focused on one of the urgent tasks for domestic scholars and practitioners – the development and implementation of non-traumatic methods of interrogation. Thus, the author of the article defines theoretical and practical aspects of using anatomically detailed puppets during the interrogation of extremely vulnerable persons – minor victims and witnesses of rape, sexual abuse, corruption of minors, human trafficking, pornography, etc., including children with physical or (and) mental disorders. The tactics of interrogation of these extremely vulnerable persons need to be improved through the introduction of the “Green Room” method declared by international and national standards, one of the elements of which is a set of anatomically detailed puppets. It has been noted that despite mentioning about the method of interrogation in the domestic normative, scientific and methodological literature, there are no detailed studies of the rules and conditions of using “Green Room” and the possibility of applying anatomical puppets. Theoretical approaches and practical aspects of modern world experience of interrogating extremely vulnerable persons with the use of anatomically detailed puppets have been analyzed. It has been also determined that puppets are used as an anatomical model, demonstration aid, memory stimulation, diagnostic tool or “icebreaker” in the world theory and practice of interviewing children. The author has determined the tasks of applying of the set of anatomically detailed puppets: 1) actualization of recollection; 2) visual demonstration by the child of the mechanism of criminal actions committed against the child; 3) increasing the reliability and significance of information about the circumstances of the commission; 4) prevention of secondary traumatization of minor victims and eyewitnesses of certain types of crimes. The author has formulated the rules and has determined conditions for using anatomically detailed puppets during the interrogation of extremely vulnerable persons. The tactics of interrogation of minor victims and witnesses of certain types of crimes have been improved. The emphasis has been placed on the need for widespread introduction of this non-traumatic method of interrogation of minors into the training of future police officers, advanced training or (and) specialization of existing police officers, and into the investigative and judicial practice.

Jordan, Gihon. "Child Pedestrian–Car Crashes Near Schools Are a Small Percentage of Total Child Pedestrian Crashes in Philadelphia." Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1636, no. 1 (January 1998): 132–37. http://dx.doi.org/10.3141/1636-21.

Abstract:
An analysis was conducted of 2,167 pedestrian-car crashes reported by the Philadelphia Police Department in 1994. Age, sex, location, type and severity of injury, and neighborhood of victim and driver were taken directly from the police reports. The pedestrian’s actions were coded into 43 categories using the description in the police report. The unique aspect of this research is that the distance to the nearest school was measured and included in the database. The impetus to create this database was a politician’s demand that School 15 mph flasher signs be installed at the over 500 schools in Philadelphia. Only three schools in Philadelphia had school flashers when these data were collected in 1994. Most schools had School Crossing signs and School 15 mph speed limit signs where appropriate. There were about 600 school crossing guards in 1994. The data indicate that few children are injured by cars near schools during opening, recess, and closing times. More children are injured en route to or from school, but not near the school. A greater number are injured while playing after returning home from school than are injured during the trip to or from school combined. Thus, an implementation of in-school child traffic safety education, installation of new strong yellow-green School Crossing signs, and targeted and advertised enforcement of motor vehicle laws would be better responses to child traffic safety than the wholesale installation of flashing school speed limit signs. The data also confirm that dart-outs, other nonintersection crossings, traffic signals, and playing in the street are the principal crash types for children. Philadelphia has a very high rate of unlicensed, unregistered, and uninsured drivers (estimated at over 40 percent). Enforcement is lax, and the traffic court dismisses most moving violation cases. Children deserve to be made safer 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Flashers cannot do that because only a small percentage of crashes occur near schools during school hours and because flashers are ineffective in reducing speeds and car-pedestrian crashes near schools.

Abstract:
In today’s world, the traffic problems are high because of more use of vehicles in the cities. So because of this, it is impossible to give away for an emergency vehicle like, (Ambulances, police vehicles, fire engine etc.). So with this project, we are going to reduce this problem, for this, we have created a system that will monitor the traffic and also gives a way to emergency vehicles. We calculate the current traffic rate with normal traffic rate and if there is any unusual traffic and also if there is an emergency vehicle is passing through that way we change the signal lights into green to give away for the emergency vehicles. And if there is any heavy traffic for a long time and it does not control then our system will send a message to the driver that u have to take another route. By this way we can reduce the traffic problems and emergency vehicles will reach their destination in time.

Abstract:
Manual traffic control (MTC) is a common intersection control strategy where trained personnel, typically police law enforcement officers, allocate intersection right-of-way to approaching vehicles. MTC is frequently used for special events and during emergencies. However, the current state-of-the-practice has shown little research that quantifies or assesses the benefits of MTC during evacuations. This paper describes research to develop microscopic traffic simulation models that were used to assess traffic processes of emergency evacuations of nuclear power plant sites involving MTC. A recently developed model to represent MTC was integrated into the simulation to quantify its impact on clearance time and other operational parameters. The results of this effort showed that in rural or less congested urban areas clearance times experienced no significant benefit from the application of MTC. Conversely, in densely populated regions clearance times increased significantly when MTC was deployed. This suggested that for congested urban areas, with closely spaced intersections, the characteristically long cycle lengths associated with MTC resulted in significant queues. These queues propagated upstream, interfering with traffic operations at neighboring intersections and bottleneck points within the network. This, in turn, triggered even more queues and, ultimately, led to localized gridlock. From the perspective of police officers, longer cycle lengths result in fewer phase changes and less lost-time at the intersection. As such, the officer is incentivized to extend green times and cycle lengths as long as possible. What the officer cannot see, however, is the effect of such actions on queue formation at upstream intersections.

Banks have an important role in realizing SDGs, therefore the Bank must continue to develop its products and services to be directed towards sustainable economic activities and not too exploring resources. Based on The Appendix of the President Decree No. 59/2017 the Indonesian government directed the global target of economies inclusive regarding the participation of the financial services sector. The Banks will support the priority economic sectors development such as agriculture, processing industries, and infrastructure, Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises and Energy. Banks can participate by using a green loan policy. This research is a normative legal research, which focuses on examining the application of the rules or norms in positive law. The result is the Banks play a key role in society, banks have purpose to help develop sustainable economies and to empower people to build better futures. When banks will give a credit to those who have a business that has a direct impact to the environment, bank also can be offer a position as a manager of environmental recovery guarantee funds. In other side, Banks can provide green development, in a process of giving credit to the debtor; banks need to pay attention to the business legality of prospective debtors. Banks are required to ensure that prospective customers have a legal business and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Abstract:
Abstract OBJECTIVE Primary human cerebral myiasis is an exceedingly rare condition and is almost never encountered by physicians in developed countries. The case report summarizes a case of extensive cerebral myiasis in a periurban community in the United States. CLINICAL PRESENTATION After a minor motor vehicle accident, police brought a 75-year-old man to the emergency room because he was observed to have a large cranial lesion. Examination revealed a 15 × 17 cm frontal bone defect with eroded frontal dura, exposed cortex, and massive cortical maggot infestation. INTERVENTION The patient was empirically treated with intravenous antibiotics for meningitis. Maggots (Phaenicia sericata, or the green bottle fly) were removed by suction, attrition, and gentle contact exposure to a mild bleach solution. Biopsy of the scalp and cranium revealed angiosarcoma, for which operative treatment was refused. The patient was transferred to a skilled nursing facility for palliative care where he died 3 months later. CONCLUSION This is the first published case of cerebral myiasis in the United States. Although human cerebral myiasis is rare, conditions do exist in this country that permit myiasis.

Abstract:
In 2008 the first state-level CDU-Green coalition was formed in Hamburg. Drawing on the literature on party goals (vote-, office-, policy, internal cohesion- and democracy-seeking), this article examines the GAL's decisions to join and to end the coalition. It examines the trade-offs between party goals as they evolved in different phases of “schwarz-grün,” with particular reference to the Greens' education reform agenda. While policy- and vote-seeking complemented each other during the election campaign, vote-, office- and party unity-seeking conflicted with each other in the Greens' decision to enter a coalition with the CDU. Later, policy- and democracy-seeking conflicted with each other when a referendum organized by a citizens' initiative defeated the Greens' education reform, a defeat that contributed significantly to the premature end of the CDU-Green coalition. New elections led to defeats for vote-, office-, and policy-seeking when the SPD achieved an absolute majority.

Abstract:
Foreign nationals who marry U.S. citizens have an expedited track to naturalization. U.S. immigration officials require that “green card” petitioning couples demonstrate that their relationships are “valid and subsisting” (i.e., for love) and not fraudulent (i.e., for immigration papers). These requirements are ostensibly gender and racially neutral, but migration itself is not; men and women petitioners seek partners in different regions and solicit advice from similar others about the potential obstacles to their petitions’ success. Using an online ethnography and textual analysis of conversation threads on a large online immigration forum where U.S. petitioners exchange such information, I examine how gendered standards of legitimacy are applied to family and sexuality and used discursively among petitioners to achieve genuineness and define red flags indicating potential marriage fraud. I argue that forum members police immigration requests even before cases reach an immigration officer. Petitioners use the formal criteria of U.S. immigration in ways that reveal gender ideologies, expectations for conformity to a gendered hegemonic family ideal, and sexual double standards surrounding sexual agency, fertility, and desirability. These intersectional norms shape members’ online discussions about the suitability of marriages and of the migration of noncitizen partners to the United States.

Abstract:
‘Green spaces’ provide important cultural ecosystem services in our towns and cities. ‘Green’ space may come in many forms – for example parks, village greens, urban commons, or just neglected and undeveloped wasteland. But all of it is important as it can provide much needed space for open air recreation and exercise in crowded urban areas. The covid-19 pandemic and associated lockdown has shown just how important it is for us to have easy access to open space for recreation and exercise. But much of our green space is, in an age of austerity, under threat. Covid-19 has shown that we need to reappraise planning policy for the designation and protection of new areas of green space in our urban environment; to better protect existing open space, including village greens and commons; and to seek to rebalance planning policy to ensure that the drive for new housing does not take place at the expense of ensuring that adequate green space is provided for existing and future communities.

Abstract:
Currently, in Baghdad, vehicles driver still depends on the police of traffic to regulate the traffic system according to the density of traffic. There has been made a lot of researches on making the traffic signals automated by using image processing techniques, infra-Red Sensor, and laser sensors. The cost and complicity are the biggest challenge in these systems. So, to avoid the previously mentioned obstacles and with the employing of Machine to Machine M2M Communication, a system of traffic signaling that based ultrasonic sensor has been developed, where only one ultrasonic sensor is used at each road at 500 meters down the street away from the traffic light where there's obvious traffic congestion that needs to be solved. The ultra-sonic sensor would detect the density of traffic and communicate to Arduino that is responsible for acquiring signals from sensors on the roads which in turn will communicate with other Arduino which is responsible for manipulating the traffic light signals accordingly. So, as a result, the collected data will help the authorized person in monitoring the roads and change the green light time of each road based on traffic density in a specified date and time also take a report where the analysis will be made on heavy traffic and less traffic.

Abstract:
Kalijodo has a long history in terms of gambling, prostitution, human trafficking and other illicit activities. Although it is a green belt area, the location had always being filled with semipermanent buildings. The area was changed its meaning in 2016 when the late Governor of Ahok with the help of the police and army, eradicated these housing and transformed this place as the community center (RPTRA-Ruang Publik Terpadu Ramah Anak). Together with Yori Antar, Basuki changed Kalijodo into a new center for Jakarta with its mural and skatepark. Former illicit users have been pushed out from the site. Some built a temporary shelter under the highway bridge while others went to their villages. After the fall of Basuki due to the blasphemy crime, the image of RPTRA Kalijodo was contested. Within a day, the area was filled with illegal parking and prostitution returned in different forms taking place under the highway bridge. Layers of meaning and use of Kalijodo transforms rapidly and in results changes the image of the city. Through observation, interviews and archival research, this paper analyses the contestation of the city image by investigating the relationship between the top-down approach and the everyday life uses of space.

Abstract:
For many years, environmental politics was seen as a relatively light policy area. In many European countries environmental issues were usually delegated to the Greens. As a result, until recently, climate and environmental policy has been dominated by the political approach and emphasis of the green movement. Today, however, political leaders across Europe are finally seeing how political environmental politics actually is. There is also a growing understanding that the green approach may not be the only possible way forward. Due to its top-down, bureaucratic and inflexible approach to the policy area, the green agenda may in fact sometimes even be dangerous. Thus, this article argues that the time has come to shift the paradigms of environmental politics and climate politics from the politics of limitation to the politics of possibilities. The European People’s Party family could offer a real alternative to the green agenda and show the merits of environmental subsidiarity.

Abstract:
In the summer of 1920, as the I.R.A.'s guerrilla campaign against the Royal Irish Constabulary and the British Army approached its climax, the British government attempted to reinforce the R.I.C. by raising a force of ex-officers to act as a mobile police striking force. The new organization was called the Auxiliary Division of the R.I.C, and its members, though officially referred to as ‘cadets’, were popularly called Auxiliaries or Auxis, a denomination which suggests a kind of subconscious analogy with their I.R.A. opponents, who were generally known as ‘Volunteers’. In the subsequent mythology of the Irish ‘Troubles’ the Auxiliaries were generally lumped together with the ‘Black and Tans’ but were in fact a more elite body. The ‘Black and Tans’ were ex-servicemen recruited to serve as R.I.C. constables and initially kitted out in a motley of R.I.C. dark green and Army khaki. The Auxiliaries on the other hand were nattily dressed in tarn o'shanters, khaki tunics and puttees (or officer's gaiters) and were paid a pound a day — twice the R.I.C. constable's rate — which made them the most highly-paid uniformed force in the world at that time.1 Altogether only 2,214 were recruited (with perhaps two-thirds that number in service at the peak of the formation's strength), but they did more than their fair share to discredit the British regime in Ireland.

Abstract:
Research has suggested that city environments with more green space may have lower crime levels. For this pilot study, 11 established community gardens in Houston, TX, were selected and mapped using ArcGIS 9.1 software. The numbers of property crimes reported in the 2005 crime data from the Houston Police Department surrounding the community garden areas at a distance of 1/8 mile were then tallied and mapped for the areas. The numbers of crimes were evaluated alongside demographic data from the 2000 U.S. Census. Statistical comparisons were made between community garden areas and randomly selected city areas that were within a 1-mile area surrounding each garden. Initial results of paired t tests indicated no statistically significant differences between the mean number of crime occurrences in community garden areas and the mean number of crimes in randomly selected areas. Results from a linear regression analysis also indicated that the presence of a community garden was not a predictor of a lower crime rate for a neighborhood. Adjustments were then made by removing randomly selected areas that were demographically least like their respective community gardens. Results from further analysis indicated that there were no crime number differences between the community garden areas and the randomly selected areas. However, interviews conducted with community garden representatives showed that community gardens appeared to have a positive influence on neighborhoods, with residents reporting neighborhood revitalization, perceived immunity from crime, and neighbors emulating gardening practices they saw at the community gardens.

Abstract:
Trembesi (Samanea saman) is one of the plants that is currently developed as one of the green line plants. Stomata as part of the leaf that has the ability to bind air, especially oxygen and carbon dioxide, is one part of the plant that can be used as an indicator to see the effect of pollutants contained in the air. The result was obtained by using an electron microscope to analyze the morphological structure of stomata leaves Trembesi (Samanea saman). Location was determined by two groups, the control group was at the UKI campus environment which was away from air pollution and the treatment group was in the Cawang police station where many vehicles passed through. Within a 90 days after treatment of pollutant exposure to plants, the structure of Trembesi leaf stomata was observed using an electron microscope. Based on the observation, the leaf position in the middle of the tree and the position of the leaf at the bottom of the tree, it was found that the leaves placed in the control position had a finer stomata mouth structure, more leaf hairs, and a wider diameter. While on the leaves that are placed on the location exposed to pollutants, has an irregular leaf mouth structure, fewer leaf feathers, and smaller diameter. This study can be concluded that there was an effect of exposure of pollutant that could change morphology of stomata leaves of Trembesi (Samanea saman).
