Abstract:
In Turkey, as in many other countries, laws, and regulations protect every child's right to an education. This encompasses all disabilities that need special education. Distinct features and disability groups cannot benefit from education without specific adjustments in general education for students who vary considerably from their classmates and have different disability groups. Starting special education at an early age is one of the most fundamental concepts of special education and is incredibly important, just as it is crucial to start education at an early age in kindergarten education. This research aims to ascertain the perspectives and recommendations of school administrators who have inclusive pupils in their kindergartens on inclusive education. The study included a qualitative research approach known as focus group discussions. At the end of the study, it is discovered that the majority of the information resources of kindergarten principals working in kindergartens are gathered in the form of university education, in-service training, school guidance service, and individual efforts, and that mainstreaming students only have a hazy understanding of their rights as outlined in the constitution, laws, regulations, and directives. When working with special education children, the topics they need assistance with are communication, family education, behaviour shaping, and the preparation of individual education plans, and the resources they use to guide families are books, special education specialists, child mental health specialists, relevant departments of universities, guidance research centres, and so on. It is expanding as a school guidance service. Participating kindergarten principals generally indicated that inclusive education was very helpful to their pupils, while a few participants claimed that the lack of adequate physical conditions and opportunities hindered this advantage. Keywords: Preschool education, kindergarten, special education, inclusive education.

Abstract:
Group social guidance is a method of social work that aims to help individuals to improve their social functions through certain experiences within the group so that they are able to overcome the problems they face, whether problems involving themselves, their group and society. In providing guidance for drug convicts, group social guidance tends to be more effective than individual social guidance. The forms of group social guidance carried out in correctional institutions include general education, skills education, mental spiritual development, socio-cultural and work activities. The problems that were studied are how to apply group social guidance for drug convicts, what the benefits of the guidance are and whether there are obstacles it faces. The method used is empirical normative method. The results of the study concluded that (1) Group social guidance for drug convicts is carried out in collaboration with the Wahana Bhakti Sejahtera Foundation which specifically handles drug convicts and it has been running properly, implemented through spiritual group activities, sports, arts, legal awareness and work guidance. (2) Group social guidance activities show good results, as can be seen from the positive self-changes in drug convicts. (3) The obstacles are the limited infrastructure for development, drug convicts’ laziness in following guidance, the lack of application of values and the lack of active participation of the officers as social workers in conducting guidance. It is recommended to add facilities and infrastructure for medical therapy and social rehabilitation for convicts who are ex-drug users.

A research review of career education, career guidance and curricular choice in a sample of Australian secondary schools reveals an almost total lack of rationale; a lack of any coherent, planned approach; and some continuing serious confusion in the field about the actual and distinct nature of the separate but related functions of career education, career guidance and career counselling. This group of activities is also either under-resourced or not provided at all at the level of need or demand. The relationship between any form of career education processes and curricular choice structures was weak or non-existent. The interim research outcomes include recommendations for new systemic and school-based investment of specialist resources, staff and information dissemination techniques.

Abstract:
Today, the various abilities that nurses require to meet patients’ healthcare needs adequately are all affected by AI-enabled systems. This research used an experimental study design in which 60 subjects were randomly assigned to either an experimental (AI image e-book guidance) group or a control (text paper guidance) group after meeting the admission conditions and agreeing to participate in the study. It was proven that providing AI image e-book guidance before surgery significantly changed the behavior of patients and promoted relief of urinary catheter discomfort through self-efficacy to reduce urinary catheter pain after surgery (p < 0.001). It was found that providing AI image e-book guidance can shorten the time for health education and provide patients with repeated medical education and familiarity with health guidance, which can help to address the important clinical service demand issue and the shortage of nursing staff.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: The study objective was to determine the effects of cognitive-behavioural group guidance on entrepreneurial intention among university sandwich education students.

MATERIALS & METHOD: The design of the study was a group randomized trial involving pretest and posttest, while the area of the study was a federal university in South-East Nigeria. Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire (EIQ) was used for data collection while the data collected were analysed through analysis of covariance with repeated measures.

RESULTS: The results indicated that there was no significant difference between the participants’ entrepreneurial intention in the treatment and no-treatment control groups at the initial measure; and that after cognitive-behavioural group guidance intervention, there was a significant increase in entrepreneurial intention among the participants in the treatment group comparing to their counterparts in the no-treatment control group.

CONCLUSION: Cognitive-behavioural group guidance was effective in increasing entrepreneurial intention among university sandwich education students. It was therefore concluded that counsellors should adopt the techniques used in the study to help individuals increase their entrepreneurial intention, and that cognitive-behaviour group guidance should be adopted as counselling approach for helping university students develop intentions to venture into entrepreneurial business.

Abstract:
School guidance focus: a Hong Kong Study As schools worldwide pay more attention to pastoral care and pupil guidance research into guidance focus as a school factor and ways of assessing it are still undeveloped. The study reported here aimed at identifying the guidance focus (remedial, preventive or developmental) adopted in Hong Kong secondary schools. In the absence of previous studies, it was necessary to establish criteria of identification. Constructs of guidance were first identified using Kelly's Repertory Grid. This was followed by a questionnaire survey of guidance practices. The findings indicated that case work and developmental group work were useful indicators. The criteria established for assessing schools' guidance focus were the amount of time spent by the school guidance team and the priority they assigned to each indicator. The findings also revealed conceptual and methodological problems in determining school guidance focus and in categorising schools accordingly, thus opening up other areas of research. While specific to Hong Kong secondary schools, the method is reported for its relevance to other school settings.

Yet data are presented which demonstrate that the expectations placed on many guidance officers are relatively sophisticated and specialised. Particularly in the areas of personal crisis counselling, family support and community-school development, today's guidance officers working in Queensland schools are required to demonstrate considerable specialisation. The profession seems to be facing a choice, attempt to develop into a group of true educational specialists with all the required training, supervision and in-service education or move to become a group of expert general practitioners. Some implications of these two options for the profession are explored.

Abstract:
The text brings closer the career (vocational) guidance issues in the context of the vocational education specificity. Liquid modernity, with multidirectional changes occurring at a great speed, and growing requirements of the competitive labour market have become fertile soil for the growth of all sorts of guidance services, i.e. activities that concern the entire human life and treat individuals in a holistic way. Being one of them, the career guidance has travelled a long way undergoing a paradigmatic change of its objectives and tasks and of other aspects, i.e. how a relation with a client starts or what methods are applied. Vocational school students are one of those groups where career structuring is in demand. Being a weak link in Poland’s education system before the economic and political system transformations of 1989, after this date the group actually has started drifting, losing to the growing educational aspirations and the boom of secondary education that opened the door to increasingly popular higher education. Current efforts to restore vocational education need to be coupled with career guidance services that are provided professionally to the present and future vocational school students. Assumptions of these career guidance activities do not seem to differ basically from the general assumptions applied in the holistic guidance, which does not mean that a search for methods suited to this group of young people should be discontinued.

This study looked at how students' achievement in Physics in senior secondary school one was affected by explicit problem solving instruction. A quasi-experimental pre-test-post-test design was used. The study involved two student groups: the Experimental Group and the Control Group. While the control group did not receive formal teaching on problem-solving techniques, the experimental group did receive such training. Utilizing the Physics Achievement Test, data were gathered and analysed using descriptive statistics and ANCOVA. The findings show that providing clear guidance on how to solve problems improves students' achievement in physics. According to this study, providing clear instructions on problem solving was beneficial for both males and females. To improve students' achievement in Physics, physics teachers should provide clear guidance on problem solving to their students.

Abstract:
The development of counselor performance assessment instruments, especially for group guidance services, is still being developed independently by each higher education institution. It tends to be non-standard and not entirely in line with the need to create counselor competency in implementing school group guidance services. This research aims to create a performance test instrument for group guidance services for school counselors that is valid and reliable by adapting the development model from Borg & Gall at three stages of development. By involving 5 subjects as testers for the acceptability of performance instruments, namely 2 lecturers and 3 school counselors. Thirty-nine construct validity and reliability testing subjects consist of 2 lecturers, 12 school counselors, and 20 practical students. This development resulted in a set of counselor performance assessment instruments in group guidance services consisting of 13 statement instrument items on the planning aspect and 27 on the practice aspect, tested as valid and reliable based on SPSS 26 analysis. Furthermore, experts and users have also validated the assessment instrument by meeting acceptability criteria (applicable, feasible, and appropriate). Thus, it can be concluded that the counselor performance test instrument product in group guidance has met the development objectives and can be used for assessment in the planning and practice of group guidance services in schools or clinical counseling supervision activities.

Abstract:
This study prospective randomized controlled trial aims to test the impact of adding health education, awareness of some contributing factors and clinical guidance to therapeutic cabergoline given to infertile women with unexplained resistant hyperprolactinemia. It comprised 120 infertile women with unexplained persistent hyperprolactinemia not responding to therapeutic doses of cabergoline 1.5-2 mg/week who were subjected to proper history taking to exclude concomitant drug intake or possible brain problems in all cases. They were classified into group A (60 cases) who received health education and clinical guidance to search for possible contributing factors and were instructed to avoid them in addition to proper therapeutic doses of cabergoline, while group B (60 cases) received proper therapeutic doses of cabergoline only without clinical guidance. After 1 month, serum prolactin (PRL) was measured for all cases. All cases had high PRL level at the start of the study (79.9±28.4 [39-195] and 78.2±19.9 [42-189] in group A and B, respectively) without any significant difference. Pretreatment counselling revealed that lifestyle factors, sexual behaviors or feeding habits may contribute to resistant hyperprolactinemia in all cases without a significant difference between both groups. Serum PRL dropped significantly more in group A (20.14±10.31 [11-45] vs. 49.32±37.03 [12-100]) after combined health education, clinical guidance of the couple and proper treatment. It is concluded that lifestyle factors, sexual behaviors, and feeding habits would affect the response of hyperprolactinemia to treatment. Health education and clinical guidance with some advice to avoid them, would concomitantly improve the response of resistant hyperprolactinemia to therapeutic doses of dopamine agonists.

Abstract:
Well-child care has suboptimal outcomes regarding adherence to appointments and recall of guidance, especially among families facing structural barriers to health. Group well-child care (GWCC) aims to improve these outcomes by enhancing anticipatory guidance discussions and peer education. We conducted a randomized controlled trial, comparing GWCC with traditional, individual well-child care (IWCC) and assessed health care utilization, immunization timeliness, recall of anticipatory guidance, and family-centered care. Ninety-seven mother-infant dyads were randomized to GWCC or IWCC. Compared with IWCC infants, GWCC infants attended more of the 6 preventive health visits (5.41 vs 4.87, P < .05) and received more timely immunization at 6 months and 1 year but did not differ in emergency or hospital admission rates. There were no differences in mothers’ reports of anticipatory guidance received or family-centered care. As primary care is redesigned for value-based care and structural vulnerabilities are considered, GWCC may be a key option to consider.

In order to help law clinics navigate the new regulations, a small working group from CLEO have put together this draft guide to the QWE. In developing this guide, we recognise that the new routes to qualification are controversial and we are not endorsing or expressing approval for these routes to qualification. As an organisation, CLEO is committed to developing clinical legal education as a rich and innovative method for teaching law. Legal education, in particular for undergraduates, is about much more than qualifying as a solicitor and indeed many law graduates do not go onto qualify as legal professionals. However, we are aware that many of our members will be offering qualifying work experience, or may be asked by senior management to offer qualifying work experience and we therefore want to develop guidance for our members to assist with navigating the new regulations. This guidance is to assist university law clinics only, when encountering a student’s claim for QWE.

Abstract:
While media studies amply document problematic social group representation in mass media materials, how English language educators are equipped to address these issues when they engage in the common practice of appropriating such artifacts for teaching is unclear. This research responds by collecting 319 prominent Internet sources providing guidance on using mass media materials for language learning and subjecting them to a content analysis. This analysis draws upon ten forms of problematic social group portrayal in the mass media as a conceptual lens. Analysis results indicate little attention to ableism, ageism, Christonormativity, classism, colorism, gender bias, heternormativity, lookism/sizeism, racism, and urbanormativity with articles universally acclaiming the integration of mass media materials into language teaching, primarily on the grounds of “authenticity.” Defined as materials authored by and for native speakers, this is an authenticity insensitive to authentic social group representation. This research is significant because of teacher reliance on the Internet as a source of materials, because of the global reach of English language teaching, the power of mass media, especially for youth socialization, and because there is a lack of previous research concerning how language teachers are trained to consider problematic social group representation in mass media artifacts.

BackgroundMusic education, as a special form of art education, has a unique function of aesthetic education and psychological guidance. However, its specific impact on reducing students’ psychological anxiety has not received sufficient attention and research.Subjects and MethodsA randomized controlled experimental design was adopted in this study. 200 college students were selected as research objects and randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group, 100 in each group. The intervention group received a semester of music education, including learning music theory knowledge, participating in choir, receiving music therapy and other activities, while the control group maintained regular learning. Both groups of students were asked to complete the anxiety self-rating scale before and after the experiment to evaluate the change of their psychological anxiety level. The statistical software is SPSS23.0.ResultsAfter the experiment, the self-rating anxiety scale score of the intervention group was significantly lower than that before the experiment, and significantly lower than that of the control group. Further data analysis shows that music education has a significant effect on reducing students’ psychological anxiety.ConclusionsFrom the perspective of aesthetic education psychology, music education can effectively reduce the psychological anxiety of college students. This may be related to the fact that music education can provide a good emotional outlet, enhance students’ self-cognition and self-efficacy, and thus improve their psychological state.

We expect this study to contribute to the actions of healthcare workers coordinating these groups given the observation of the cultural universe of these individuals seeking professional care in the various public health care services.

Abstract:
This article describes differential guidance for the gifted and how the curriculum can be modified and adapted to promote self-realization. A major view is that guidance and counselling should be an integral and integrated part of the school programme. Parent education programmes are described as well as group approaches within the education system. Referral problems and related guidance intervention strategies are also presented. Three areas of special concern—gifted females, culturally diverse gifted children, and the handicapped gifted child—are also noted. The thesis of the article is that it is critically important for guidance and counselling personnel to have a framework for defining their role in working with the gifted within the educational setting.
