The Gigahertz Transversal Electromagnetic Mode (GTEM) cell provides an environment where electronic equipment is illuminated by electromagnetic fields associated to plane waves in the free space. Hence, the GTEM cell is used in electromagnetic compatibility and/or interference testing (EMC/EMI), following the IEC 61000-4-20 directives. Due to the asymmetric rectangular coaxial shape, the input design and the cell termination the characteristic impedance of the system is 50
along the structure. The main objective of the GTEM is to obtain a uniform field area, with the maximum variation of 6 dB, where the equipment under test must be positioned. The goal of this dissertation is to investigate the performance of a GTEM cell with and without load using the Finite Elements Method (FEM). In the empty cell the numerical results allow to define the test region where the electric field is uniform. When the cell is loaded with a dielectric sphere the scattered field is validated with

retangular assimétrico, junto com a entrada do campo e a terminação da célula, fixa uma impedância característica de 50 em todo sistema. Um dos objetivos na construção da célula GTEM, é a criação de uma região de campo uniforme, com variação máxima de 6 dB, onde o equipamento em teste é posicionado. O presente trabalho tem como foco, investigar o desempenho de uma célula GTEM vazia e carregada através de simulações computacionais utilizando o método dos elementos finitos (FEM). Como resultados foram apresentados, a uniformidade
do campo elétrico através das suas componentes, para a célula vazia, bem como a perturbação da onda eletromagnética, quando inserida na célula um objeto dielétrico. A validação da GTEM carregada foi feita comparando os resultados da simulação com a teoria de Mie para uma esfera no espaço livre.

The Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic (GTEM) cell was developed about 20 years ago and the applications using GTEM cells for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements are continuously increasing. The research described in this Thesis proposes a new method for characterizing emissions from electrical appliances using a GTEM cell. The research adapts the method used in the Transverse Electromagnetic (TEM) cell where the measurements are done by using a two-port system which includes a phase measurement. This is a restriction in GTEM cells because only one port exists and normally only the magnitude reading can be performed. This requires the development and application of new techniques, which allow the description of emitters in terms of equivalent electric and magnetic dipoles measured using a GTEM cell with phase measurement. A full field 3D Transmission Line Model (TLM) model of a GTEM cell is generated. Further simulations based on this model were performed to assess the behaviour of the emitters and when the GTEM cell is under actual working conditions. The model is also used to validate results obtained from measurements. The assumption that the dipole moments from a general emitter are in phase is also studied and evidence is presented to assess the validity of this assumption. The impact of the phase variations within an EUT towards the total radiated power estimated according to IEC 61000-4-20 is discussed and a technique to measure phase using a GTEM cell is introduced.

La méthode variationnelle multimodale (MVM) est une méthode intégrale de modélisation électromagnétque très efficace pour analyser les discontinuités uni-axiales. Cette méthode est basée sur l'identification du champs électromagnétique de part et d'autre de la discontinuité associée à la définition du coulage entre modes via l'utilisation de fonctions d'essai. Ceci lui procure de très bonnes performances notamment en rapidité et précision. L'objectif de cette thèse c'est d'adapter l'utilisation de la MVM en association avec d'autres méthodes telles que la BEM ou la TRM au traitement de circuits pésentant des discontinuités uni-axiales peu conventionnelles à travers deux applications assez différentes. La première consistait en l'étude du comportement des circulateurs planaires en technologie micro-ruban à température cryogénique. La deuxièmeapplication, consistait à élaborer un modèle électromagnétique de la cellule GTEM.

With the built structure electromagnetic tests - EMC, including electromagnetic interference - EMI and immunity becomes feasible, on 500 MHz - 18 GHz frequency range. This thesis describes the Generative Topographic Mapping (GTM) --- a non-linear latent variable model, intended for modelling continuous, intrinsically low-dimensional probability distributions, embedded in high-dimensional spaces. It can be seen as a non-linear form of principal component analysis or factor analysis. It also provides a principled alternative to the self-organizing map --- a widely established neural network model for unsupervised learning --- resolving many of its associated theoretical problems. An important, potential application of the GTM is visualization of high-dimensional data. Since the GTM is non-linear, the relationship between data and its visual representation may be far from trivial, but a better understanding of this relationship can be gained by computing the so-called magnification factor. In essence, the magnification factor relates the distances between data points, as they appear when visualized, to the actual distances between those data points. There are two principal limitations of the basic GTM model. The computational effort required will grow exponentially with the intrinsic dimensionality of the density model. However, if the intended application is visualization, this will typically not be a problem. The other limitation is the inherent structure of the GTM, which makes it most suitable for modelling moderately curved probability distributions of approximately rectangular shape. When the target distribution is very different to that, theaim of maintaining an `interpretable' structure, suitable for visualizing data, may come in conflict with the aim of providing a good density model. The fact that the GTM is a probabilistic model means that results from probability theory and statistics can be used to address problems such as model complexity. Furthermore, this framework provides solid ground for extending the GTM to wider contexts than that of this thesis.

Dans l’école des Tenants des anciennes traductions, les rNying ma pa-s, on trouve, en plus de la lignée de transmission orale dite longue (ring brgyud bka’ ma), une lignée de transmission courte des trésors (nye brgud gter ma). Par « trésors », on entend des textes qui auraient été cachés par Padmasambhava et ses disciples et qui, au moment où les circonstances l’exigent, sont redécouverts par des religieux prédestinés : les gter ston-s. Ceux-ci sont des milliers mais seuls certains d’entre eux, les cinq rois gter ston-s, font autorité pour authentifier un trésor et son découvreur. Le quatrième d’entre eux, Padma gling pa (1450-1521), naquit au Bhoutan où il œuvra et établit des centres religieux. Il étendit également sa sphère d’influence au Sud du Tibet où il fonda l’un de ses monastères principaux : Lha lung. Après sa mort, sa tradition spirituelle continua de se développer grâce à trois lignées d’incarnations. Bien loin de là, dans l’Ouest de l’Himalaya, la tradition rituelle de ce gter ston est encore aujourd’hui pratiquée dans la Vallée des nuages au Spiti. Jusqu’à présent, l’introduction de cette tradition, si éloignée de son lieu d’origine, reste mystérieuse. La présente étude vise, après avoir évoqué le cadre historique de la Vallée, à reconstituer dans un deuxième temps, grâce à des manuscrits que l’on croyait un temps perdus ainsi qu’à la tradition orale, l’histoire de cette tradition religieuse depuis son introduction jusqu’à nos jours. Dans un troisième temps, ce travail expose les pratiques et le calendrier rituel de la Vallée. Enfin, la dernière partie est consacrée au Rituel des vivants (gSon chog), rituel incontournable des habitants de la Vallée<br>In the school of the Followers of the old translations, the rNying ma pa-s, there is not only the Long lineage of the oral transmission (ring brgyud bka’ ma) but also the Short lineage of the treasures (nye brgyud gter ma). “Tresaures” are texts that were hidden by Padmasambhava and his disciples and discovered by predestined religious figures : the gter ston-s, when the circumstances so require. Those gter ston-s are thousands but only few of them, the five gter ston-s kings are recognized authority who can authentify a treasure and its discoverer. The fourth of them Padma gling pa (1450-1521), was born in Bhutan where he built several important religious complexes. During his life time, he extended his influence to the South of Tibet where he founded one of his main monasteries : Lha lung. After his death, his tradition continued to develop thanks to three incarnation lineages. On the western part of the Himalaya, in the Clouds Valley, in Spiti, the ritual tradition of this gter ston is nowadays still practiced. Until recently, the introduction of this ritual tradition far from its place of origin, remained quite a mystery. After an evocation of the historic context, the present study attempt, secondly, thanks to old manuscripts that were supposed to be lost and thanks to the oral tradition, to redraw the history of this religious tradition from its origin until now. Thirdly, this work exposes the practices and the religous agenda of the Valley. Finally, its last part focus on the Ritual of the living beings (gSon chog) which is a key ritual in the life of the inhabitants of the Valley

Les bactéries phytopathogènes produisent des effecteurs de type III qui sont des facteurs de virulence injectés dans la cellule hôte afin de moduler les défenses et ainsi favoriser l'infection. L'effecteur PopP2 de Ralstonia solanacearum possède une activité acétyl-transférase qui est perçue par la paire de protéines de résistance RRS1-R et RPS4 dans le noyau des cellules végétales. Cette étape de perception conduit à l'activation des réponses de défenses. GTE9 et GTE11, deux protéines à bromodomaine d'Arabidopsis thaliana, s'apparentent à des lecteurs épigénétiques ciblés par PopP2. Nos données démontrent que ces protéines GTEs (i) interagissent avec PopP2 dans le noyau des cellules végétales et (ii) sont acétylées en présence de l'effecteur. De plus, GTE9 et GTE11 se lient in vivo et in vitro à des histones H4, suggérant que PopP2 interfère avec des processus de remodelage de la chromatine<br>Microbial pathogens infect host cells by delivering virulence factors (effectors) that interfere with defenses, thereby favouring infection. The Ralstonia solanacearum PopP2 effector displays an acetyltransferase activity perceived by the Arabidopsis immune receptor pair, RRS1-R with RPS4, in the plant nucleus. This recognition step leads to the activation of immunity. Two Arabidopsis bromodomain-containing proteins , called General Transcription factor with Extra-terminal domain 9 and 11 (GTE9 and GTE11), were identified as PopP2-interacting partners. GTE9 and GTE11 are considered as epigenetic readers. Our data demonstrate that these GTEs proteins (i) interact with PopP2 in the plant nucleus and (ii) are acetylated in presence of the effector. Moreover, bromodomains of GTE9 and GTE11 bind in vivo and in vitro to Histone H4. Together, these data suggest that PopP2, through the targeting of GTE9 and GTE11, likely interfere with chromatin remodeling processes to affect ETS and/or ETI-related processes

Cette thèse est dédiée à l’analyse systématique de l’espace chimique, et des relations structure-activité (SAR) en particulier. L’ouvrage présente des nouveaux protocoles d’analyse combinant des méthodes classiques et originales, dans le but d’analyser les SAR à l’échelle globale ainsi que locale. L’analyse globale des espaces chimiques repose sur la recherche des motifs structuraux privilégiés par cartographie topographique générative (GTM), ainsi que par analyse classique des « châssis » moléculaires. La cartographie a été ensuite couplée avec l’analyse de réseaux chimiques (CSN), permettant une transition de la vue globale vers l’analyse locale de SAR. L’optimisation mutiobjectif des propriétés de potentiels médicaments a été adressé par la méthode « star coordinates ». L’analyse locale des SAR inclut des nouvelles stratégies pour prédire les discontinuités dans le paysage structure-activité biologique, et une étude de l’impact de la structure sur l’ionisation des molécules. Des matrices SAR ont servi pour monitorer le progrès dans l’optimisation de nouveaux principes actifs<br>This thesis presents studies devoted to aid in systematic analysis of chemical spaces, focusing on mining and visualization of structure-activity relationships (SARs). It reports some new analysis protocols, combining both existing and on-purpose developed novel methodology to address both large-scale and local SAR analysis. Large-scale analysis featured both generative topographic mapping (GTM)-based extraction of privileged structural motifs and scaffold analysis. GTM was combined with chemical space network (CSN) to develop a visualization tool providing global-local views of SAR in large data sets. We also introduce star coordinates (STC) to visualize multi-property space and prioritize drug-like subspaces. Local SAR monitoring includes new strategies to predict activity cliffs using support vector machine models and a study of structural modifications on ionization state of compounds. The SAR matrix methodology was applied to objectively evaluate SAR progression during lead optimization

Un nouveau concept des cartes universelles est introduit et discuté en détail dans cette thèse : ce sont des cartes qui sont capables d’accommoder plusieurs jeux de données et les propriétés associées simultanément. Trois types des cartes sont construits et analysés : les cartes locales, globales et universelles. Elles sont toutes compétentes à la prédiction des composés actifs contre le parasite, ainsi qu’à l’analyse de l’espace chimique. Elles nous permettent d’étudier le recouvrement des données issues des sources différentes, de détecter des terra incognita de l’espace chimique, identifier des zones correspondantes aux différents mécanismes d’action, et révéler des incohérences d’annotations des données<br>This thesis is dedicated to the concept of the analysis of chemical space, and the application of thatconcept to antimalarial compounds. The analysis of the chemical space of antimalarial compoundshere is done with the aid of the Generative Topographic Mapping (GTM) method. A concept ofUniversal GTM maps is developed and discussed in detail in this thesis: these are maps that areable to accommodate different datasets and associated properties. Three types of maps are builtand analyzed: local, global, and universal. Cette étude considère des systèmes où non seulement la structure moléculaire, mais les conditions expérimentales sont impliquées. Les structures chimiques ont été codées par des descripteurs locaux ISIDA MA ou ISIDA CGR, ciblant spécifiquement les centres actifs et leur environnement le plus proche. Les descripteurs locaux ont été combinés avec les paramètres spécifiques des conditions expérimentales, codant ainsi un objet chimique particulier. La méthodologie a été appliquée avec succès pour la modélisation QSPR des paramètres thermodynamiques et cinétiques des interactions intermoléculaires (liaisons halogène et hydrogène), des équilibres tautomères et des réactions chimiques (cycloaddition et SN1). La méthode GTM a été appliquée pour la première fois pour la modélisation et la visualisation de données chimiques mixtes. La méthode sépare avec succès les groupes de données à la fois en raison des structures et des conditions<br>This work describes original approaches for predictive chemoinformatics modeling of molecular interactions and reactions as a function of the structures of interacting partners and of the chemical environment (experimental conditions). Chemical structures have been encoded by local ISIDA MA-based or CGR-based descriptors, specifically targeting the active centers and their closest environment. The local descriptors have been combined with the specific parameters of experimental conditions, thereby encoding a particular chemical object. The methodology has been successfully applied for QSPR modeling of thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of intermolecular interactions (halogen and hydrogen bonds), tautomeric equilibria and chemical reactions (cycloaddition and SN1). GTM method has been applied for the first time for QSPR modeling and visualization of mixed chemical data. This method successfully separates data clusters on account of both chemical structures and experimental conditions

This thesis contributes to the debate on the link between a transitive verb corresponding to 'need' and the verb of possession in the world’s languages. Specifically, I analyze data mainly from Ewe and three Ghana-Togo Mountain (GTM) languages; Likpe, Tafi, and Logba. First, I report that Ewe expresses predicative possession using a wide range of structures. Prominent among these structures is an intransitive locative construction in which the possessee c-commands the possessor. This characterization situates Ewe in the B-languages group of the have/be dichotomy. Second, I demonstrate, drawing on compelling pieces of evidence from object shift in nominalization, object shift in inceptive aspectual constructions, object extraction in wh-movement, and the nominative-accusative paradigm, that Ewe has a transitive verb 'hiã' corresponding to 'need'. These facts pose a challenge to Harves and Kayne’s (2012) claim that all languages that have a transitive verb corresponding to need are languages that have an accusative-Case-assigning verb of possession. Third, I have shown that predicative possessees are not licensed in like manner as transitive objects, contra Halpert and Diercks’ (2012) prediction that all languages that have a transitive verb corresponding to 'need' are languages in which predicative possessees are licensed in the same manner as transitive objects. Fourth, I show that data from the three GTM languages also pose a challenge to the predictions in Harves & Kayne (2012) and Halpert & Diercks (2016). Nous nous interessons a la recherche de motifs composes dans une sequence. Ces motifs sont decrits a l'aide de grammaires a variables de type chaine et a transformations morphiques. Le concept de transformation morphique permet de capturer les aspects hors-contexte (inversion) et contextuel (repetition) d'un langage de sequences donne. Il est adapte a la description de liens entre regions d'une sequence et en particulier a la modelisation des dependances intra-moleculaires qui etablissent la structure secondaire des sequences genetiques. Nous definissons une classe de grammaires discontinues (a gaps implicites) et a transformations morphiques. La propriete fondamentale des transformations morphiques est exploitee lors d'un pretraitement de la sequence a analyser. Le pretraitement conduit a une representation auxiliaire de la sequence ou sont compiles les liens inter-regions, sous la forme d'une reference a un modele consensus commun. Ce procede permet d'atteindre les deux objectifs fixes : meme efficacite de traitement des transformations morphiques directes et inverses, reconnaissance approchee avec erreurs de substitution, d'insertion et de deletion. La pertinence d'un outil de validation de structure destine a l'etude de sequences biologiques exige ce deuxieme point. L'algorithme de pretraitement repose sur une extension parallele des modeles consensus et de leurs occurrences approchees modulo transformation morphique. Le formalisme gtm unifie deux notions, instanciation de variable et occurrence approchee de modele consensus, par le biais d'un mecanisme de primo-instanciation. La reduction des complexites spatiale et temporelle des phases de pretraitement et de derivation-instantiation-approchee est assuree par la prise en compte de contraintes absolues et relatives, exprimees dans la specification. Nous proposons en particulier un algorithme de filtrage par contraintes relatives, approche par exces, efficace. Le generateur automatique d'analyseurs gtm a ete valide dans le cadre de diverses approches : protocole de tests sur donnees artificielles, recherche d'arn de transfert, de pseudo-nuds, entre autres, pour le genome d'escherichia coli, et contribution a une etude philogenetique relative au genome humain. Pour le type d'analyse non deterministe precedent, la taille de l'espace des solutions est reduite grace a la specification (grammaticale) de contraintes. Nous nous interessons par ailleurs au cas d'analyses ou les contraintes sont inferees a partir d'un corpus d'apprentissage : nous posons les fondements theoriques d'une analyse syntaxique non deterministe guidee par connaissances statistiques. La prise en compte d'un contexte local d'analyse (modele de n-grams) permet de guider la recherche des meilleures solutions. Une application, dediee a un probleme de traduction (traduction reverse de sequences proteiques), a pris pour cible le genome d'escherichia coli.

A la veille de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, des nombreux étrangers réfugiés en France sont incorporés par la Troisième République dans des «Compagnies de Travailleurs Etrangers » (CTE) et doivent contribuer à la défense nationale. Après la défaite, le régime de Vichy crée pour les réfugiés étrangers des «Groupes de Travailleurs Etrangers » (GTE). Ces GTE se révèlent, avec en moyenne 40 000 étrangers incorporés dans plus de cent groupes, l' expression d' une politique xénophobe, antisémite et anticommuniste. Cette politique est également appliquée en Afrique du Nord où les autorités de Vichy créent de camps de travail pour la construction d'un chemin de fer, le «Transsaharien». En zone occupée, les autorités allemandes reçoivent 35000 républicains espagnols des GTE. L'étude démontre qu'environ 100 000 étrangers ont connu un travail forcé en France, soit dans les GTE de Vichy en zone libre et en Afrique du Nord, soit dans les camps de l'Organisation Todt.

Įvertinant malondialdehido koncentraciją pelių kepenyse, buvo nustatyta, kad kadmis padidino malondialdehido koncentraciją po 8, 24 val. ir 14 dienų, atitinkamai, 336 proc., 218 proc. ir 182 proc. Veikiant cinkui ir selenui, malondialdehido koncentracija pelių kepenyse padidėjo po 24 val. ir 14 dienų, atitinkamai, 325 proc. ir 437 proc., o po 14 dienų, atitinkamai, 162 proc. ir 288 proc. Taigi, cinkas pajėgus apsaugoti redukuotą glutationą nuo oksidacijos tik 8 val., o po ilgesnio laiko redukuotas glutationas išeikvojamas. Po 8 ir 24 val. tiek cinkas, tiek selenas pelių kepenyse geba apsaugoti lipidus nuo peroksidacijos, o po 14 dienų redukuotą glutationą nuo oksidacijos ir lipidus nuo peroksidacijos apsaugo tik žaliosios arbatos ekstraktas.<br>It was determined, that after 8 h cadmium increased glutathione concentration by 35 % while after 14 days decreased by 35 %. After 8 h both zinc and selenium also increased reduced glutathione concentration, respectively, 27 % and 17 %. Evaluating malondialdehyde concentration in mice liver, it was established, that cadmium increased malondialdehyde concentration after 8, 24 h and 14 days, respectively, 336 %, 218 % and 182 %. When mice liver were affected with zinc and selenium, malondialdehyde concentration increased after 24 h, respectively, 325 % and 437 % and after 14 days, respectively, 162 % and 288 %. To sum up, zinc can protect reduced glutathione from oxidation in mice liver just for 8 h, and after a longer period reduced glutathione is depleted. After 8, 24 h and 14 days both, zinc and selenium are eager to protect liver from lipid peroxidation and after 14 days reduced glutathione from oxidation. Lipids from peroxidation process can protect only green tea extract.

This study traces the development of Tibetan 'treasure' texts and practices in contemporary times via the life-story and scriptural revelations of the Tibetan 'treasure revealer' (gter ston) Kun bzang bde chen gling pa (1928-2006). It examines how his revelations (gter ma) rooted in the historic spirituality of Tibet, continue and adapt into the twenty first century. The study is important in order to understand the ways this Asian religious concept develops and coalesces in North America. With the dramatic advances in communication through digital technology, it examines how gter ma texts and practices reach a modern audience. Also discussed are the implications of centuries old debates surrounding Buddhist lineage, transmission and ‘authenticity’ as well as concepts such as liberty, equality and authority. All of which are culture-specific constructions that differ radically when seen from a variety of perspectives. The main conclusion drawn from this research is that as a Western Vajrayāna ‘tradition’ emerges and intersects with older Tibetan forms, both must attempt to find a middle path between their differing applications and interpretations if they are to avoid drifting into an arena of extensive commercialisation, dilution and distortion.

Il eut un parcours éclectique exceptionnel au sein des différents ordres bouddhiques tibétains, à l’heure même où le Tibet connaissait guerres civiles et conflits sectaires. Également révélateur (gter ston), il fonda le monastère rnying ma de Dpal ri theg chen gling dans la vallée de ’Phyong rgyas et fit une révision et édition majeure du « Padma thang yig ». Monastère aujourd’hui oublié, Dpal ri forma le précédent de la grande renaissance rnying ma sous le règne du Ve Dalai Lama. Rdo rje brag, Smin grol gling et Dpal ri constituaient la triade des grands monastères rnying ma du Tibet central (Rdor smin dpal gsum). ’Jigs med gling pa né et formé à Dpal ri, y reçut la première révélation du « Klong chen snying thig ». The now forgotten Dpal ri monastery formed a precedent for the great Rnying ma renaissance that occurred during the reign of the Vth Dalai Lama. Rdo rje brag, Sming grol gling and Dpal ri formed the triad of central Tibet’s greatest Rnying ma monasteries (Rdor smin dpal gsum). Furthermore, ’Jigs med gling pa, born and trained in Dpal ri, received the first revelation of the “Klong chen snying thig” also in Dpal ri. The works and legacy of Prajñāraśmi reveal the close continuity between the vitality of the Rnying ma tradition and Buddhist eclecticism in Tibet from the 16th to the 19th century

Cette thèse concerne l'utilisation de Cartographie Topographique Générative (Generative Topographie Mapping - GTM) pour l'analyse, la visualisation et la modélisation de grands volumes de données chimiques. Les principaux sujets traités dans ces travaux sont le criblage virtuel multi-cibles dans la conception de médicaments et la visualisation, l'analyse et la comparaison de grandes chimiothèques. Plusieurs développements méthodologiques ont été proposés : (1) un algorithme de zoom hiérarchique automatisé pour la GTM afin d'aider à résoudre le problème de la résolution des cartes ; (i1) un protocole d'extraction automatisé des Sous-structures Maximum Communes (MCS) pour améliorer l'efficacité de l'analyse de données ; (iit) un criblage contraint basé sur la GTM permettant de détecter les molécules avec un profil pharmacologique souhaité, et (iv) une technique de GTM parallèle, qui réduit significativement le temps nécessaire pour construire une carte. Several methodological developments were suggested: (i) an automatized hierarchical GTM zooming algorithm helping to resolve the map resolution problem; (ii) an automatized Maximum Common Substructure (MCS) extraction protocol improving efficiency of data analysis; (iii) constrained GTM-based screening allowing to detect molecules with a desired pharmacological profile, and (iv) a parallel GTM technique, which significantly increases the speed of GTM training. Диссертационная работа посвящена выявлению основных закономерностей влияния специальных технологических сред на изменение свойств упругой системы тонкостенной детали для повышения ее виброустойчивости, точности и качества обработки, а также разработке технологии эффективного применения специальных сред в производстве для фрезерования моноколес ГТД.
Разработанное устройство и методика для измерения эффективности удаления припуска, определения точности и качества обработанной поверхности при фрезеровании тонкостенной детали позволили установить, что эффективность удаления припуска при фрезеровании тонкостенной детали существенно зависит не только от статических и динамических свойств упругой системы детали, но и от скорости вращения инструмента и направления подачи (встречное или попутное). С увеличением скорости изменяются условия возбуждения вибраций, увеличивается эффективность удаления припуска, особенно при встречном фрезеровании. Разработана новая технология эффективного применения специальных технологических сред на производстве (технология заливки) для фрезерования лопаток моноколес ГТД. Технология заливки была испытана при моделировании всего цикла обработки моноколеса на экспериментальном стенде. Положительный эффект, в сравнении с заводским вариантом использования технологической среды, был получен при моделировании обработки всех лопаток, кроме последней. При испытании данной технологии в производстве было также установлено существенное повышение виброустойчивости процесса обработки и качества обработанной поверхности. В связи с этим разработаны рекомендации по внедрению данной технологии в технологический процесс изготовления моноколес ГТД, форма для заливки моноколеса вне рабочей зоны станка и конструкция инструмента для фрезерования деталей, окруженных технологическими средами, позволяющая удалять излишки технологической среды, которые находятся на пути движения инструмента.<br>The thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences, specialty 05.02.08 – machinebuilding technology. The aim of the thesis is to identify the main regularities of influence of special technological materials (filler materials) on changing characteristics of elastic system of thin-walled detail and increasing of vibration stability, dimensional accuracy and reducing of surface roughness . Also this work is devoted to development of technology of efficient use of special technological materials in manufacture for producing blisks and impellers of gas turbine engine (GTE). The developed device and method for measuring of real volume of removed material, dimensional accuracy and quality of surface finish in thin-walled milling made possible to establish that the removal efficiency in thin-walled milling depends not only on static and dynamic characteristics of elastic system of thin-walled detail, but it also depends on spindle speed and feed direction (up and down milling). In this thesis was developed system of evaluation criteria of the conditions of the vibrational motion of thin-walled detail, which includes ten parameters on the base fragment of oscillogram, which quantitatively shows the highly efficient of special technological materials using for reducing vibrations of thin-walled detail during milling. The technology for the efficient use of special technological materials in the manufactory for milling blades of blisks and impellers of GTE is developed, as well as recommendations on the implementation of this technology to the industry.

Alternative splicing (AS) is an important step in the pathway of gene expression and regulation. The splicing process is catalyzed by the Spliceosome, a complex molecular machinery that is dynamically assembled on the pre-mRNA in order to remove introns and ligate together exons. Perturbation of Core Spliceosomal Components (CSCs) -those components which are believed to be essential for intron removal in general- has been shown to affect splice site selection and AS. Little is known about whether this is a physiological mechanism of tissue-specific AS regulation.
In this study, we investigate the potential role of CSCs and classical splicing regulators (CSRs) in tissue-specific AS and its variation across human populations by correlating differences in their levels of expression with AS changes across human organs and individuals.
Our results recapitulate already known regulatory mechanisms and identify potential novel ones involving both CSRs and CSCs.
We identified potential regulators whose gene expression alteration might play a role in human cancers. Moreover we observed that inclusion levels of some specific exons correlated with patient’s survival rate. Understanding the regulatory mechanisms behind will give precious insights on cancer biology and cancer treatment development.<br>El splicing alternativo es un proceso esencial para la regulación y expresión génica. El Spliceosoma es una maquinaria molecular muy compleja que cataliza la reacción de splicing ensamblándose sobre el pre-mRNA para eliminar los intrones y engarzar los exones.
Perturbaciones en la expresión génica de los componentes nucleares del spliceosoma (CSCs), que se asumen que son esenciales para la eliminación de todos los intrones, puede modular el splicing alternativo. Sin embargo no se sabe con seguridad si estos cambios en la expresión de los CSCs podrían ser un mecanismo fisiológico para regular los diferentes splicing alternativos específicos de tejido.
En este estudio hemos investigado la posible función de los CSCs y de los reguladores de splicing clásicos (CSRs) en el control del proceso de splicing alternativo específico de tejido. También hemos estudiado las variaciones de estos componentes en poblaciones humanas correlacionando la expresión de cada componente con la variación de splicing en diferentes órganos e individuos humanos.
Nuestros resultados recapitulan mecanismos de regulación ya conocidos y también revelan nuevos posibles mecanismos de splicing alternativo involucrando los CSCs y CSRs.
Adicionalmente, hemos identificado reguladores que potencialmente pueden jugar un papel en el control del splicing alternativo en cáncer. Hemos observado también que el nivel de inclusión de algunos exones correlacionan con la tasa de supervivencia en algunos tipos de cáncer. Entender los mecanismos de regulación de estos procesos de splicing alternativo ayudarán a ampliar nuestros conocimientos sobre la biología del cáncer y potencialmente contribuir al desarrollo de nuevos tratamientos antitumorales.

Дисертаційна робота присвячена виявленню основних закономірностей впливу спеціальних технологічних середовищ на зміну властивостей пружної системи тонкостінної деталі для підвищення її вібростійкості та якості обробки, а також розробці технології ефективного застосування спеціальних технологічних середовищ у виробництві для фрезерування моноколіс ГТД. Розроблено систему критеріїв оцінювання умов коливального руху тонкостінної деталі за десятьма параметрами БФО, яка кількісно показує високу ефективність застосування спеціальних технологічних середовищ для зниження вібрацій тонкостінної деталі при фрезеруванні. Встановлено що ефективність видалення припуску при фрезеруванні ТЕД істотно залежить не тільки від статичних і динамічних властивостей пружної системи деталі, але і від швидкості обертання інструменту і напрямку подачі (зустрічне чи попутне). The aim of the thesis is to identify the main regularities of influence of special technological materials (filler materials) on changing characteristics of elastic system of thin-walled detail and increasing of vibration stability, dimensional accuracy and reducing of surface roughness . Also this work is devoted to development of technology of efficient use of special technological materials in manufacture for producing blisks and impellers of gas turbine engine (GTE). The developed device and method for measuring of real volume of removed material, dimensional accuracy and quality of surface finish in thin-walled milling made possible to establish that the removal efficiency in thin-walled milling depends not only on static and dynamic characteristics of elastic system of thin-walled detail, but it also depends on spindle speed and feed direction (up and down milling). In this thesis was developed system of evaluation criteria of the conditions of the vibrational motion of thin-walled detail, which includes ten parameters on the base fragment of oscillogram, which quantitatively shows the highly efficient of special technological materials using for reducing vibrations of thin-walled detail during milling. The technology for the efficient use of special technological materials in the manufactory for milling blades of blisks and impellers of GTE is developed, as well as recommendations on the implementation of this technology to the industry.

Diese Dissertation definiert die vormoderne Struktur der eremitischen Tradition in Khams, die von der Ris med-Bewegung festgelegt wurde, und widmet sich der Wiederbelebung dieser Tradition im modernen Khams unter der chinesisch-kommunistischen Herrschaft. Die Fallstudie bildet die ’Ba’ rom bKa’ brgyud- "Meditationsschule von La phyi" (La phyi sgom grwa) mit Fokus auf den gTum mo-Verwirklicher Tshul khrims mthar phyin (geb. 1947), der als zeitgenössische Verkörperung des Mi la ras pa gilt. Gemäß der Dissertation liegt die rituelle und soziale Macht des tibetischen Eremiten in der Ausführung, Verkörperung und Aussöhnung von Paradoxa: das Erreichen von soteriologischen Zielen im weltlichen Leben sowie die Lösung der Dilemmas der Tibeter in Krisenzeiten. Der Antrieb für soziale Ermächtigung der Einsiedler liegt in der Radikalität ihrer Entsagung, bei der nicht nur erwartet wird, Befreiung und Erleuchtung unvermeidlich zu generieren, sondern diese wie Mi la ras pa "in diesem Leib und Leben" zu verwirklichen. Eine solche wahrgenommene Transformation des Körpers durch Meditation ist entscheidend für die Befähigung der Eremiten, Widersprüche zu versöhnen und Einsiedeleien zu gründen, die als Orte für eine effektive Identitätskonstruktion und Sphären der Autonomie und Macht, die aus der lokale Geschichte und heilige Stätten gewonnen werden, dienen. Gerade in Krisenzeiten neigen Einsiedeleien dazu, Netzwerke zu bilden und zu einer alternativen Bewegung zu werden, die die etablierten Machtstrukturen umgeht oder gegen sie spricht, zugleich aber ihren religiösen Charakter behält.<br>Tantric practices of meditation in retreat have been prevalent across the Tibetan Plateau since at least a millennium, yet their highly elitist and clandestine nature has hitherto prevented their exploration and analysis. This thesis defines the pre-modern structure of the hermitic tradition in Khams, codified by the nonsectarian Ris med movement, but devotes most attention to the examination of its revival in contemporary Khams under the Chinese communist rule through the case study of the ’Ba’ rom bKa’ brgyud “meditation school of La phyi” (La phyi sgom grwa), centered around the cotton-clad gtum mo-accomplisher Tshul khrims mthar phyin (b. 1947), eulogized as the contemporary embodiment of Mi la ras pa. The main claim of this dissertation is that the ritual and social power of the Tibetan hermit lies in the performance, embodiment and final reconciliation of paradox – generally attaining soteriological goals in mundane life and specifically, resolving the dilemmas of Tibetans during times of perceived crisis. Acts of renunciation become an affirmative strategy, activating networks that have sustained hermits, their lineages, practices, and training venues for centuries. The reason for social empowerment of hermits lies in the radical nature of their training, which by social agreement is not only bound to generate liberation and enlightenment, but is even able to yield fruit “in this very body and life,” in emulation of Mi la ras pa. Such transformation of the body through meditation is crucial to the hermit’s ability to reconcile contradictions and to establish hermitages as venues for effective identity construction and spheres of autonomy and power, extracted from local history and sacred geography. Especially in times of crisis, hermitages tend to form networks and evolve into a movement for counter-culture, which circumvents or speaks against the established power structures of the day, but at the same time, maintains its essentially religious character.

Genome-wide association studies have greatly improved our understanding of the contribution of common variants to the genetic architecture of complex traits. However, two major limitations have been highlighted. First, common variant associations typically do not identify the causal variant and/or the gene that it is exerting its effect on to influence a trait. Second, common variant associations usually consist of variants with small effects. As a consequence, it is more challenging to harness their translational impact. Association studies of rare variants and complex traits may be able to help address these limitations. Empirical population genetic data shows that deleterious variants are rare. More specifically, there is a very strong depletion of common protein truncating variants (PTVs, commonly referred to as loss-of-function variants) in the genome, a group of variants that have been shown to have large effect on gene function, are enriched for severe disease-causing mutations, but in other instances may actually be protective against disease. This thesis is divided into three parts dedicated to the study of protein truncating variants, their medical relevance, and their functional consequences. First, I present statistical, bioinformatic, and computational methods developed for the study of protein truncating variants and their association to complex traits, and their functional consequences. Second, I present application of the methods to a number of case-control and quantitative trait studies discovering new variants and genes associated to breast and ovarian cancer, type 1 diabetes, lipids, and metabolic traits measured with NMR spectroscopy. Third, I present work on improving annotation of protein truncating variants by studying their functional consequences. Taken together, these results highlight the utility of interrogating protein truncating variants in medical and functional genomic studies.

Furthermore, the qualification and conditions for going public of OTC trading are compared with the samples of companies not intended for public listing. Result of the research indicated that the funds need, growth, simplified review system are having positive effect on OTC trading companies to turn on public listing. They will select the timing to turn into public listing where the profitability is better, and company of smaller scale has higher incentive in turning into public listed; however, the ages of the companies are not affecting the decision of going public.

Metoda: Práce se zaměřením na zkoumání : Validity Actigraphu GT1M: Pro odhad energetického výdeje - na základě analýzy vztahů sumy zrychlení (tzv. counts) na straně jedné a srdeční frekvence na straně druhé. Interinstrumentálnf spolehlivosti Actigraphu GT1M. Spolehlivost měření mezi 2 přístroji. Testovaným souborem je 12 hráčů kopané ve věku 7 a 1llet. Výsledky: Platnost odhadu energetického výdeje kritériem srdeční frekvence. Pro toto kritérium byl zjištěn korelační koeficient r = -0,751 až 0,883. Interinstrumentální spolehlivost 2 přístojů kritériem sumy zrychlení a kritériem sumy kroků. Korelační koeficient spolehlivosti sum zrychlení 2 přístrojů se pohyboval v rozmezí 0,984 až 0,997. To cope with these events, Securities and Futures Commission（SFC）is actively putting forth corporate governance as well as corporate governance best-practice principles for TSEC（Taiwan Securities Exchange Corporation）/GTSM （Gretai Securities Market）listed companies, which will suit the nation’s situation. Due to SFC’s request that TSEC listed and GTSM listed companies must include independent directors on their board members, the number of companies that have assigned independent directors is increasing. However, since SFC did not request TSEC/GTSM listed companies to establish audit Committee, there are still few corporations to establish it. There is no research report in Taiwan concerning determinants on establishing audit Committee for GTSM-listed companies till present. Therefore, I decide to study this issue and expect it be helpful for future preparation on regulations for related institutions. It is beneficial for those investors in stock market.
The dependent variable of the research is the establishment of the audit committee among GTSM-listed companies. As for the factors that may influence the establishment of audit committee for GTSM-listed companies appointed independent directors, there is still no relevant documents regarding this issue and must hire independent directors before the establishment of the audit committee. This research tried to seek possible influential factors via various documents of the factors that may influence companies to appoint independent directors. In order to study what are those determinants while establishing audit Committee for GTSM-listed companies, there are twelve estimated variables and four dimensions used in this research as following：(1) The‘economic’ dimension includes four variables which are company scale, industry features, capital intensiveness , and capital structure；（2）‘Board of director feature’ dimension includes four variables which are the holding ratio of directors, corporation investors’ holding, whether the chairperson serves as president concurrently, the ratio of outside directors；（3）‘Capital Raising’ dimension includes two variables which are whether issuing overseas trust warrant or bonds, whether issuing new options or bonds；（4） ‘Financial performance’ dimension includes two variables which are the variation of earnings and Operation performance. Having gone through positive analysis in regression model, research conclusion is respectively specified as below:
1. Economic dimension：The bigger the company scale is, the lower capital structure ratio is, and the more incentives a GTSM-listed company appointed directors have.
2. Board of director Feature dimension：The higher directors’ share holding ratio is, the more outsider directors are. The lower corporation investors，holding is, the more incentives that a GTSM-listed company appointed directors is trying to establish audit committee will become.
3. Capital Raising dimension：A GTSM-listed company appointed director is more willing to establish audit committee when raises capital.

According to data from OTC companies of electronic category in the period from Jan. 01, 2001 to Dec. 31, 2009 and through the use of event study and statistical analysis method, investigations are made to see the effect of the implementation of stock repurchase on those companies and to see if there is any abnormal stock return, meanwhile, it is also to see if different implementation frequency in the implementation of treasury stock can lead to consistent conclusion.
From the results of the empirical analysis, the following empirical results can be obtained:1 The corporate announcement of stock repurchase plan can effectively transfer the message of underestimated stock price to the market, which in turn will promote the rise of the stock price, hence, in this study, an empirical result similar to that of Yen,Chen&Yang(2005) can be obtained. Therefore, this study can indeed enhance the reliability of the previously and empirically found announcement effect. 2
In this study, the implementation effectiveness of the stock repurchase plan is observed through the implementation result of the entire sample companies, the implementation result of single repurchase plan, the implementation frequency of repurchase plan, and the actually accumulated repurchase number of stock. It was found that the empirical result basically supports the political cost hypothesis, information asymmetry hypothesis, value underestimation hypothesis and operation strategy hypothesis.
In the market response aspect, the empirical result matches the expectation. In the accumulated average abnormal return of short term(day) and longer term (month), difference can indeed be seen among different repurchase groups, in other words, the one with frequent repurchase shows the smallest abnormal return, the one with rare repurchase shows the largest abnormal return.

To do so, the present study chose two critical aspects of corporate governance, board characteristics and ownership structure, and examined their impact on company stock performance.
The research subjects were Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE)/Gre Tai Securities Market (GTSM) listed companies between 2006 and 2014, and the collected data were examined by the least-square regression analysis. The findings are as follows: (1) Ownership concentration, debt ratios, and the 2008-2009 financial tsunami were found to have a positive and significant impact on the rate of annual return of all the sampled companies in this study, but at the same time, they acted negatively and significantly on the percentage of board seats held by independent directors. (2) Debt ratios were found to have a negative and significant impact on the price-to-earnings ratio, suggesting that the higher the debt ratio the lower the price-book ratio. (3) The percentage of board seats held by outside directors, percentage of shares held by legal entities and ownership concentration were found to exert a positive and significant impact on the price-book ratio of all the sampled companies in this study. On the other hand, the percentage of board seats held by independent directors, percentage of pledged shares held by company directors and supervisors, percentage of shares held by the directors and supervisors, cash flow rights, debt ratios, 2008-2009 financial tsunami, and company size (large- and medium-scale) were found to exert a negative and significant impact on the price-book ratio of all the sampled companies in this study. These results reveal a stock oversold condition during the financial tsunami, and moreover, the magnitude of the decline in stock prices exceeded in the net value. (4) The percentage of board seats held by outside directors, percentage of shares held by legal entities, and 2008-2009 financial tsunami were found to have a positive and significant effect on the dividend yield but a negative and significant effect on the percentage of pledged shares held by company directors and supervisors, meaning that because of the underestimation of stock prices during the financial tsunami, investors expected an above-average dividend yield.

simplified batch review as a shortcut to switch listing, for the reason that the OTC
listed companies in Taiwan want to switch to listing,and there is a motivation in
insiders to maximize their wealth.However,with the diverge between voting right and
cash flow right ,there exists the agency problem from the conflict of interest between
the management and the external investors.As a result,how the corporate governance
of exchange listings influence the corporate value has been the motivation of this
study. The objectives of this research are as follows:
1) the association between shareholdings of insiders and nature of board of
directors and the decision making of transfer listing firms.
2) the influence of shareholdings of insiders and nature of board of directors on
the corporate value of transfer listing firms.
This model is applied to the data of the Taiwan stock market (TSE and OTC
market)from 1990 to 2004. We will use linear regression model to analysis insider
ownership,nature of board of directors and Corporate Governance.The sample
population are 151 companies. Model one is paired-samples of the on-cabinet
companies according to industry, size and on-cabinet years.Our observations are 302 .
The empirical findings of this research are as follows :
(1) The correlation between the shareholdings of major shareholder and decision
making.of transfer listing is positive,and the correlation between the size of the board
of directors and the decision making of transferring into TWSE is negative.
(2) In contrast with companies before transferred, the level of negative
correlation between shareholding of major shareholders and the value of corporation
is higher at the initial stage of transferred. The correlation between shareholding of
managers and the value of corporation is significant negative during the first three
year of transferred ; there is no significant result between shareholdings of directors
and the company efficiency after exchange listing. Both pledged shares of directors
and size of board of directors have negative correlation with the value of corporation,
and the significance level become higher as time after exchange listing. The
correlation between CEO duality and Tobin’s Q after exchange listing is positive, and
the level of significance is high.
(3) In our sample, companies which has lower shareholding of managers, smaller
size of board of directors, and CEO duality, the degree of change of Tobin’s Q are
higher.
Our research shows that shareholding of insiders and the nature of the board of
directors have different degree of influence on its decision for exchange listing. After
the firms exchange listing, the shareholding of shareholders, shareholdings of
managers, pledge shares of directors and size of the board of directors have negative
relationship with the values of firms.
Thus, the results concurred with the hypothesis of plundering benefits and tallies
with our prediction.

With 161 companies transferred from emerging stocks to GTSM-listed stocks during March 1, 2005 to December 31, 2011 as the samples, the study discusses the effect of turnover, turnover ratio and standard deviation of rate of return on IPO first day returns.
Empirical results suggested that the situation is quite different with high and low liquidity. With high liquidity and trading volume, GTSM-listed Companies’ stock price will benefit as new companies are listed in the industry. On the contrary, the emergence of new competitors will make investors in companies with low liquidity review the operating flexibility of company stocks, which results in the opposite yet non-significant relation.

In this study, I examine the relation between social ties and CEO compensation over the time period of 2006 to 2010 using hand-collecting data from Taiwanese TSE and GTSM companies. My results suggest that CEO compensation is higher when social ties exist between CEO and independent directors. In addition, this study also finds that the impacts of social ties are wholly integrated to affect decisions of independent directors rather than individually affecting them. Moreover, CEO of technology industries might have more social connections with their independent board members and they tend to share social relationships with them through social networks because of limitations of professional knowledge. Consequently, CEO of technology industries would receive higher compensation than other industries. Thus, my findings would be useful in better informing regulators and investors faced with questions related to the possible consequences of CEO-board social ties for business decisions and other concerning economic outcomes.

Simulation is usually used in planning and scheduling of highly repetitive activities in a construction project. Traditional, the uncertainty of tasks duration is commonly modeled by probability distribution function. In addition, many repetitive activity operations exhibit learning effective. Cast-in-place pier operations are highly repetitive and now are frequently performed in many transportation infrastructure construction projects in Taiwan. Therefore, this research aims at analyzing those operations. In the analysis through simulation, a real project is tested and both probability distributions and learning-curve models are adopted to represent the uncertainty of task duration, to see the difference of influence on system’s production rate. From the simulation verification, this research concludes that due to the complexity of geological condition and insufficient iterations for performing Cast-in-place pier operations, probability functions can more accurately reflect the uncertainty of task duration than learning-curve models.

purpose, this study, reviews the related studies until now, and
introduces the retrospect of Mr. Li-Shui Pan''s life as a
traditional painter.Chapter 2 Basic Meanings of the oil
paintings on the main gates of templesThis chapter discusses
about the meaning of oil paintings on the main gates in
traditional architectural space and their color system and
characteristics in traditional art firstly. Than, through the
analyses the origins figuers and images of different Gods and
Goddes on the main gates in the historical folk tales, we try to
interpret the mode of thinking and the foundation of imaging
behind painter''s working.Chapter 3 Types of oil paintings on

categorizes the works of Pan, and then disscusses the
relationaly between types of works and types of God/Goddes

space, the features and the working process of the oil
paintings.Moreover, it also makes suggestions for the continuous
studies in the future.
