Abstract:
Nicolas François Guillard (1752-1814) was one of the best librettists of the Tournant des Lumières. The libretto of Proserpine by Quinault, set to music by Lully at the end of the seventeenth century, was adapted by Guillard and once again set to music by Giovanni Paisiello in 1803. Six years later, in 1809, La Mort d’Adam, adapt-ed by Guillard from Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock’ Der Tod Adams (1757), was set to music by Jean-François Lesueur. These rewritings, with religious or sacred topics staged for a secular theatre by Guillard, are very different from the original works and tend to be family dramas: he then transforms them into secular works with secular content. Human sacrifices are present in these works but seem to feature here for family reasons and not only for religious purposes. Divinities are presented by the librettist as human beings, whose family roles are predominant. The sacred and the profane are mixed in these two librettos, changed into hybrid works. Guillard seems to use the same model to adapt historical, mythological or religious works, which means that the role and the impor-tance of the religious in the works staged at the Académie Impériale de Musique in the period of the Tournant des Lumières has to be examined.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Abstract:

Abstract:
Microalgae culture media must be efficient, give high growth, meet micro-requirement, and be available. The effect of different levels of brown lentil infusion and use at [25, 50 and 75%] levels on the chemical composition (protein, carbohydrates, fatty acids, and amino acids) in N. oceanic was evaluated. Compared to the standard F/2 Guillard. The obtained results indicated that the chemical components of N. oceanica were affected by these levels. The highest protein and carbohydrate content and the highest EAA content (55.92%) were obtained using OB3 medium (75% SBL) compared to the control group (100% F/2). The highest biomass production was obtained in OB3 medium. The highest TSFA and USFA were recorded for N. oceanica by the OB3 mean. The present study recommended that it is possible to use microalgae grown on OB3 and OB2 medium as a lipid and protein inducer in aquaculture.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
Microalgae are very potential to be developed as biofuel feedstocks when compared to food crops because they have several advantages such as rapid growth, high productivity, enabling the use of freshwater and seawater, and production costs are not too high. Spirulina platensis has a high nutrient content so it is used as a health food ingredient. Once the importance of the role of nutritional value of S. platensis for humans and some marine organisms, then the right culture medium to get the maximum nutritional content needs to be studied more deeply. This study aims to determine the effect of different doses of nutrition on the density of biomass cultivation of S. platensis microalgae with indoor and semi outdoor system. This research has been conducted from April to May 2018. The method by used the experimental method. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using simple linear regression equation. The results showed that the influence in the dose of nutris media guillard, S.platensis increased with the dose of nutrients as much as 0.60 ml either indoor or semi outdoor system. As for the amount of biomass density S. platensis in the semi-outdoor system the amount of biomass density is higher than the indoor system.

Guillard, the author of these Sermons may be Constantine Chrysomallus, condemned for the heresies of the Bogomils, Messalianism and Enthusiasm at the Council of 1140 in Constantinople. The differences between the translations and the original and the text of the Council resolution are analyzed. The author explaines that further reprints of Russian translations by St. Theophanes should be supplied commentary concerning doubtful authorship of separate Semons and short information on their possible author.

Abstract:
Microalgae breeding media must be cost-effective, enable high growth, meet exact re- quirements and be readily available. The effect of different levels of urea [25, 50, 75, and 100%] in the growth medium on the biochemical constituents (protein, carbohydrates, lipids, fatty acids, and amino acids) of the Nannochloropsis oculata, was assessed compared to the F/2 Guillard standard medium. The obtained results revealed that the chemical constituents of N. oculata were influenced by the different levels of urea. The highest total protein was obtained by A4 medium (100% urea) (26.44%) and A3 medium (75% urea) (25.84%). The maximum percentage of essential amino acids (EAA) (51.54%) was obtained by using the A4 medium (100% urea) as compared to the control (100% F/2). The highest total lipid content was achieved by using the A1 medium (25% urea) pro- ducing (17.33 %) and A4 medium (100% urea) (16.98%). Accordingly, the highest total saturated fatty acids percentage (TSFA) of N. oculata was recorded by the A3 medium. In conclusion, the addition of urea is an excellent policy to increase chemical composition and lipid accumulation. The present study recommended taming results for aquaculture feeding through using the proposed A1 medium as a lipid promoter or A4 medium as a protein promoter.

Abstract:
Addition of different fertilizer concentrations into cultivation media affects the cell density of microalgae. Potassium nitrate (KNO3), is one of the components in Guillard fertilizer composition commonly used for microalgae culture. This study aims to determine the quality of Chaetoceros calcitrans when cultured with different concentration of KNO3. This research was conducted from November 2019 to January 2020 at Balai Perikanan Budidaya Air Payau (BPBAP) Situbondo and Biosain Laboratory, Jember State Politeknik, East Java. This study consists of four treatments and three replicates. The object in this study was C. calcitrans culture with initial density 105 cells/ml. The main parameters observed were cell density, biomass, protein and amino acids contents and medium parameters such as temperature, pH, DO, salinity, nitrate and phosphate. There were four concentrations of KNO3 used in this study, namely control (75 g/l), treatment Group A (100 g/l), treatment B (125 g/l) and treatment C (150 g/l). The results showed that the cells density of C. calcitrans at control, treatment Group A, B and C were 110.4; 105.2; 108.3; and 100.8 (×104 cells/ml), respectively. This study indicated that different concentration of KNO3 affect the starting point of stationary phase, but One Way ANOVA test showed that those treatments had no significant effect (P?0,05) on the growth rate and dry biomass of C. calcitrans. Finally, we found that the protein content in addition of 75, 100, 125 and 150 g/l KNO3 were 9.748; 8.802; 6.812; and 3.776%, respectively.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
Guillain-Barre syndrome is an acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy of autoimmune etiology, which is characterized by peripheral paralysis and protein-cell dissociation in the cerebrospinal fluid in most cases. The Guillain-Barre syndrome prevalence is 0.6-2.4 cases per 100 thousand population. In Moscow, about 200 people are taken ill with Guillain-Barre syndrome each year. Currently, four main clinical variants of Guillain-Barre syndrome are described: acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy, axonal form, acute motor axonal neuropathy, and Miller-Fisher syndrome. Disease development is preceded by contact with the viral or bacterial infections causative agent such as Campylobacter jejuni, Mycoplasma pneumonia, cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus and influenza virus. Guillain-Barre syndrome pathogenesis is «molecular mimicry» between infectious agents surfaces and the peripheral nerves structures. High titer of antibodies to the GM1, GD1a, GD1b and GQ1b gangliosides is found in patients blood serum. Diagnostic criteria for the Guillain-Barre syndrome diagnosis are the physical examination results, cerebrospinal fluid analysis and electroneuromyographic study. The North American motor deficit severity scale is used to assess the neurological status. This scale allows to evaluate the patient’s condition and movement abilities. Currently plasmapheresis and immunoglobulin G therapy are the main treatment options for patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome. The favorable prognosis in the form of disease clinical manifestations regression reaches 60-80%. Mortality in Guillain-Barre syndrome is 5% in average and may reach 20% in patients on mechanical ventilation. The most common death causes of patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome are respiratory failure, aspiration pneumonia, sepsis, and pulmonary embolism. Early treatment initiation can reduce serious complications risk, including respiratory failure, what ultimately leads to decrease in mortality and patients disablement.

Abstract:
Guillain–Barré syndrome is characterized by progressive motor weakness, sensory changes, dysautonomia, and areflexia. Cranial nerve palsies are frequent in Guillain–Barré syndrome. Among cranial nerve palsies in Guillain–Barré syndrome, facial nerve palsy is the most common affecting around half of the cases. Facial palsy in Guillain–Barré syndrome is usually bilateral. We describe a pediatric Guillain–Barré syndrome variant presenting with unilateral peripheral facial palsy and dysphagia. A 5-year-old boy had progressive lower extremity weakness and pain 3 days prior to onset of unilateral peripheral facial palsy. On presentation, diagnosis of Guillain–Barré syndrome was supported by areflexia and albuminocytologic dissociation. His condition deteriorated with a decline in his respiratory effort and inability to handle secretions. He was given non-invasive ventilation to prevent worsening of his acute respiratory failure. Brain and spine magnetic resonance imaging scans showed enhancement of the left bulbar nerve complex and anterior and posterior cervical nerve roots with gadolinium. Treatment with intravenous immunoglobulin led to an uneventful clinical course with partial recovery within 2 weeks. In summary, Guillain–Barré syndrome should be considered as a possible cause of unilateral peripheral facial palsy. Guillain–Barré syndrome patients with facial nerve and bulbar palsy require close monitoring as they are at risk of developing acute respiratory failure. Early intervention with intravenous immunoglobulin may benefit these patients. Magnetic resonance imaging findings may lend support to early intervention.

Guillain-Barré Syndrome is a popular eponym that comes from a 1916 paper by Drs. Guillain, Barré, and Strohl. These physicians described two soldiers in the French Sixth Army during World War I who developed acute progressive motor weakness. Although Drs. Guillain and Barré have continued to be included in the syndrome’s eponym, Dr. Strohl has been forgotten despite having strongly contributed to the original paper. The reasons previously mentioned for Dr. Strohl’s absence appear trivial in contemporary practice and thus, his name deserves to be reintroduced to Guillain-Barré-Strohl Syndrome.

Summary Objective: A case report of a 23-year-old pregnant woman diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome in the 31st week of pregnancy. Case report: We present a case study of a patient in the 31st week of pregnancy hospitalized at the University Hospital in Brno for expressed bulbar syndrome, neck muscle weakness, paresthesia of the arms and medical history of diarrhea in the previous week. During hospitalization, there was a rapid progression of symptoms and respiratory failure, requiring orotracheal intubation. The diagnosis of Guillain-Barré syndrome was determined and intravenous immunoglobulin therapy was initiated. The pregnancy was terminated in the 32nd week of gestation based on the maternal indication after a completed lung maturation of the fetus. Conclusion: Guillain-Barré syndrome is a neurological disease that can rarely occur during pregnancy and puerperium. The syndrome presents a serious pregnancy complication with an uncertain prognosis and risk for both mother and fetus. If the syndrome is diagnosed in time and treated correctly, the prognosis is favorable despite the complicated course.

Abstract:
Molecular mimicry between self and microbial components has been proposed as the pathogenic mechanism of autoimmune diseases, and this hypothesis is proven in Guillain-Barré syndrome. Guillain-Barré syndrome, the most frequent cause of acute neuromuscular paralysis, sometimes occurs afterCampylobacter jejunienteritis. Gangliosides are predominantly cell-surface glycolipids highly expressed in nervous tissue, whilst lipo-oligosaccharides are major components of the Gram-negative bacteriumC. jejuniouter membrane. IgG autoantibodies to GM1 ganglioside were found in the sera from patients with Guillain-Barré syndrome. Molecular mimicry was demonstrated between GM1 and lipo-oligosaccharide ofC. jejuniisolated from the patients. Disease models by sensitization of rabbits with GM1 andC. jejunilipo-oligosaccharide were established. Guillain-Barré syndrome provided the first verification that an autoimmune disease is triggered by molecular mimicry. Its disease models are helpful to further understand the molecular pathogenesis as well as to develop new treatments in Guillain-Barré syndrome.
