Abstract:
Christopher Isherwood’s engagement with Vedanta falls outside the frame of conventional readings, confronting the assumption that religion and homosexuality are mutually exclusive. Isherwood was a committed follower of Vedanta’s nondualistic philosophy (advaita), which provided a nonjudgmental basis for his spiritual aspirations. This approach was crucial for Isherwood since his acceptance of a spiritual ideal and practice was critically dependent upon how his homosexuality was accepted. Pivotal in Isherwood’s life was his relationship with Swami Prabhavananda, whose influence was as profound as that of E.M. Forster. Isherwood produced a considerable output of religious writings in his career, yet he has been neglected as a religious writer. This paper interrogates colonialist condescension towards Isherwood as a “Hindu,” typically opposing Western “reason” against Hindu “superstition.” The paper concludes by suggesting that Isherwood’s interpretation of Ramakrishna was not based upon a homosexualist hermeneutic, but rather one based on the freedom found in Guru Bhakti.

Abstract This paper is concerned with Christopher Isherwood’s portrayal of his guru-disciple relationship with Swami Prabhavananda, situating it in the tradition of discipleship, which dates back to antiquity. It discusses Isherwood’s (auto)biographical works as records of his spiritual journey, influenced by his guru. The main focus of the study is My Guru and His Disciple, a memoir of the author and his spiritual master, which is one of Isherwood’s lesser-known books. The paper attempts to examine the way in which a commemorative portrait of the guru, suggested by the title, is incorporated into an account of Isherwood’s own spiritual development. It discusses the sources of Isherwood’s initial prejudice against religion, as well as his journey towards embracing it. It also analyses the facets of Isherwood and Prabhavananda’s guru-disciple relationship, which went beyond a purely religious arrangement. Moreover, the paper examines the relationship between homosexuality and religion and intellectualism and religion, the role of E. M. Forster as Isherwood’s secular guru, the question of colonial prejudice, as well as the reception of Isherwood’s conversion to Vedanta and his religious works.

Man has been accepted in Indian philosophy in a coordinated way of karma and knowledge. These two forms only lead him in gaining recognition and prestige in the society. Sikhism means the path of discipline and disciple ship as shown by the Sikh gurus. Guru Nanak was founder of Sikhism, was born in 1469 A.D. The main source of Sikh theology is Guru Granth Sahib. Sikhism is a monotheistic religion. There are approximately twenty seven millions Sikhs around the world. The essential message of Sikhism is spiritual devotion and reverence of God. According to Sikhism God is realisable, approachable, and accessible entity. The commandments are the codified directions for the followers of a faith. Guru Nanak, laid down three foundation stones of the Sikh faiths, to meditate the name of God, to work honestly for his livings and to share his wealth and happiness to others. The moral standards of a society are the focal points of any ethical theory. There are three major concepts of Sikh philosophy hukam, purity and the solidarity of mankind. In Sikhism, there are four inter related sets of rationale.The first set includes five evils, second set comprises eight virtues, the third set contains social and religious duties and the final set presents the way to realise the divine idealism. The study is a field study using a quantitative approach. The data-collection technique used was either a questionnaire or an angket. Based on research already done, the teacher's social competence at tsanawiyah salafiyah fi I 'iyahOnce quacked on jombang is in a good category as many as 16 teachers with50% value of propercentage. As for the student social attitude at the madrasah tsanawiyahSaiaf yah shafi 'iyah healer is listed in good categories 15 students with a value of 47%. Further after a data analysis, researchers have concluded that there is an influence of teacher social competence toward the student's social attitudes at tsanawiyah salafiyah interi 'ii 'iya ya ya failed. Abstract:
This essay explores light, as conceived in Hinduism, as an intellectual tool used to mediate the contrary impulses of body and soul. Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Christopher Isherwood addressed this philosophical quandary by reference to the light-based cosmology of Bhagavad Gita. They did so by opposite means: Coleridge's search for the Hindu light was primarily based on reading, while Isherwood adopted self-cultivation practices. In ‘Dejection: An Ode’, the Indian idea of light allows Coleridge to imagine the resolution of his love for Sara Hutchinson. By contrast, Isherwood devoted himself to the Hindu light physically by involvement with a meditation centre, as documented in his memoir, My Guru and His Disciple. Like Coleridge, Isherwood suffered reputational damage for his metaphysical interests, and was deemed an unfulfilled talent. Yet W. H. Auden's ambivalent responses to Isherwood indicate his belief that the western literary canon might be enriched as a result of such esoteric experience.

Primary data are collected using the Google form and secondary data from related articles and literature. From the study, it is known that long-range learning strategies utilize online technology as a learning medium. The contributing factors include learning activities online, enhancing teachers' and students’ ability to harness technology, and enhancing teacher and disciple creativity. Dari penelitian tersebut diketahui, strategi pembelajaran jarak jauh memanfaatkan teknologi daring sebagai media pembelajaran. Adapun faktor pendukung di antaranya adanya aktivitas pembelajaran secara daring, meningkatkan kemampuan para guru dan murid dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, dan meningkatkan kreativitas guru serta murid. AbstractSister Nivedita (Margaret Elizabeth Noble), a prominent disciple of the Hindu guru Swami Vivekananda, creatively reconfigured some traditional Vedantic vocabularies to present the “cosmo-national” individual as one who is not antithetical to but is deeply immersed in the densities of national locations. As we situate Nivedita’s “vernacular cosmopolitanism” in post-Saidian academic cultures, one of the most striking features of her reiteration of the theme that Indians should seek the universal in and through the particularities of their national histories, cultural norms, and religious systems is that it is grounded in an East-West binary, where specific values, sensibilities, and themes are attributed to each pole—primarily material to the Western and spiritual to the Eastern. The locations of her life and thought within this binary generate a complex combination of certain highly perceptive readings of Eastern styles of living; spiritual idealizations and ahistorical romanticizations of some traditional Hindu beliefs, traditions, and customs; global visions of internationalist exchanges across humanity; and pointed critiques of the operations of empire—while, occasionally, she can herself challenge the binary as an inexact classification.

Abstract:
This study aimed to identify the influence of the attitude on discipline, knowledge, and skills of the discipline headteacher on discipline management competency in a national school in Sabah. A total of 320 disciplined headteachers as respondents were selected through a combination of graded random sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS statistics and SEM-AMOS analysis. The findings show that attitudes on discipline are at an extremely high level, while knowledge, the skill of the discipline headteacher, and discipline management competency are at a high level. Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between attitudes on discipline, knowledge, and skills of head discipline teachers with discipline management competence of national school. Data also showed regression analysis it was found that there was a significant influence on predictor factors (attitude on discipline, knowledge, and skills of head discipline teachers) on discipline management competency in primary national school. SEM analysis showed that there is a significant contribution model. The implications of this study suggest that national school discipline management competencies need to be constantly enhanced and improved over time to produce balanced academic, personal, co-curriculum, and spiritual human capital.

Appropriate discipline style should be used by the teachers to discipline the students.Teacher are unsured and confused when handling student discipline and show the absence of a strong teacher efficacy.Thus, the objective of this study was to examine the influence of the teacher efficacy towards the Teacher Discipline Style, i.e: Supporter, Abdicator, Enforcer, Negotiator and Compromiser (Tomal,1999). Appropriate discipline style is determined by the highest rate of the teachers’ efficacy. The survey method used a cross sectional design that was carried out among 320 teachers who are the Disciplinary Committee members in national primary schools in Kedah and Perlis. Two instruments are used, Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES) and The Teacher Discipline Five Style Inventory. Descriptive data are analyzed using SPSS version 19. Inferential statistics are analyzed by using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling 3(PLS-SEM 3). The findings show that the teacher efficacy has a great influence on Negotiator discipline style but has no influence on the Abdicator discipline style. The findings of this study can contribute to the Ministry Of Education (MOE) as a guide to the selection of a discipline teacher in school and also identify teachers that use the disciplinary style that has lower influence of teacher efficacy to take preventive action. Abstrak Stail disiplin yang sesuai perlu digunakan oleh guru untuk mendisiplinkan pelajar. Guru tidak pasti pasti dan keliru semasa mengendalikan disiplin pelajar dan menunjukkan ketiadaan efikasi guru yang mantap. Justeru, objektif kajian ini adalah mengkaji Pengaruh Efikasi Guru Terhadap lima Stail Disiplin Guru iaitu Penyokong, Penyerahan, Penguatkuasaan, Kompromi dan Penguatkuasaan (Tomal, 1999). Stail disiplin yang sesuai ditentukan melalui kadar efikasi guru yang paling tinggi. Kajian tinjauan menggunakan reka bentuk keratan rentas telah dijalankan terhadap 320 orang guru jawatankuasa disiplin daripada sekolah kebangsaan di Kedah dan Perlis. Dua instrumen digunakan iaitu Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale – TSES), dan The Teacher Discipline Five-Style Inventory. Penganalisisan data deskriptif menggunakan SPSS versi 19. Statistik inferensi menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM 3). Dapatan kajian menunjukkan efikasi guru mempunyai pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap stail disiplin Perundingan Namun tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap stail disiplin Penyerahan. Dapatan kajian ini dapat memberikan sumbangan kepada Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) sebagai panduan pemilihan guru disiplin di sekolah serta mengenalpasti guru yang menggunakan stail disiplin yang mempunyai pengaruh efikasi yang rendah untuk dilakukan tindakan pencegahan.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of teachers' responsibility to classroom teachers' discipline. This type of research was quantitative correlational research. The population was six teachers at the State Elementary School of 012 Parit 7 Sungai Pinggan, Batang Tuaka District. The data in this study were collected using questionnaires and documentation techniques. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed using the Product Moment Correlation formula. The results of the study indicated that there was a positive, and significant relationship between teachers' responsibility and classroom teachers' discipline. Through data analysis on the two variables, the output of the correlation coefficient was 0.582, meaning that the level of strength of the relationship between the teachers' responsibility and teachers' discipline was 0.582 or moderately strong. It means that the relationship (correlation) was significant at a significance value of 0.05. Thus, there was a positive and significant relationship between the teachers' responsibility to the classroom teachers' discipline in teaching.

Abstract The success of the national education system can be seen from the performance of teachers. Teacher performance is expected to boost the quality and relevance of education, in its implementation depends on many factors that influence it and interrelated, such factors competence, motivation and discipline. This research is aimed to analyze the effect simultaneously (together) or partially (individually) between teacher professional competence, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher performance. The method used in this research is quantitative with the type of explanatory research and a sample of 120 teachers taken using proportional random sampling techniques. The results showed the teacher's professional competence, work motivation, and work discipline simultaneously had effect on teacher performance. Teacher professional competence has effect on teacher performance. Work motivation has effect on teacher performance. Work discipline has effect on teacher performance.

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the effect of variables (1) teacher work discipline on teacher commitment, (2) teacher loyalty to teacher commitment, (3) teacher work discipline and teacher work discipline and teacher loyalty together with teacher commitment. The research respondents were State Elementary School teachers in Tanjung Medan District, Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 118 people with a sample of 91. The data was collected through questionnaires as a research instrument. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of teacher work discipline on teacher commitment of 0.470, and there was a positive and significant effect of teacher loyalty on teacher commitment of 0.555. Meanwhile, together there is an effect of teacher discipline and teacher loyalty on teacher commitment of 0.477.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Komitmen Guru, Disiplin Kerja Guru, dan Budaya Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMK Negeri Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMK Negeri yang berada di Kabupaten Sleman yang berjumlah 659 orang. Penentuan ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan mengacu table Krejcie dan Morgan. Uji coba instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach’s. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji linieritas dan uji multikolinieritas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi dengan tingkat signifikansi ditentukan sebesar 5%. The method of analyzing the data uses analysis precondition test which covers normality test, linearity test and multicollinearity test. The hypothesis proposal uses regression analysis with significance level determined by 5%. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sasaran guru dan siswa SMA/MA di Kota Mataram. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket. Validitas instrumen berupa validitas logis dan validitas empiris yang dihitung dengan Pearson Product Moment. Reliabilitasnya dihitung dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Discipline is a strict rule in which the contents and formulation of the rules are carefully thought out and developed in a more real way so that what is desired can be realized as expected. Discipline can give birth to the spirit of appreciating time, not wasting it. This research is a qualitative field research, the form of research is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that: the role of fiqh teachers in improving student discipline through prayer in congregation at MTs Midanutta'lim Mayangan Jogoroto Jombang includes habituation, enforcing discipline, awareness, supervision, and examples or role models. Supporting factors for fiqh teachers in an effort to improve discipline in congregational prayer among students are facilities, natural resources, and support from the surrounding community. Barriers to fiqh teachers in an effort to improve discipline in congregational prayer among students. namely the lack of awareness of students and their different family backgrounds. Meanwhile, the solution for fiqh teachers in overcoming obstacles in an effort to improve discipline in congregational prayer is: providing guidance to students and the participation of parents at home.

This study uses hypothesis testing with multiple regression and partial regression analysis. Multiple regression is used to test the fourth hypothesis concerning the relationship of giving certification allowance to motivation and work discipline of teacher, while for hypodesis testing one, two and three used partial test, that is to know relation of giving of certification allowance with motivation and relation giving certification allowance to discipline teacher work and motivational relationships and work discipline of teachers. The results showed that there was a relationship between certification allowance with motivation with significance value of 0.444 with medium category. There is a relationship between certification allowance and teacher work discipline with significance value of 0.469 with medium category. There is a relationship between motivation and discipline of junior high school teachers in Oksibil Pegunungan Bintang Regency with a significance value of 0.661 with strong category. The influence of Madrasah principals' leadership and teacher discipline on the professionalism of teachers in the Public Islamic Junior High School or Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri in Jambi City has been carried out in this research using a quantitative approach. This study aims to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership and teacher discipline on the professionalism of teachers and the influence of the combination of both. Data was collected using a survey method with 63 respondents who were distributed to Sijenjeng Madrasah as many as 24 people, while in Talang Bakung Madrasah there were 39 people. Based on the results of this study, it is found that the better the headmaster's leadership accompanied by the discipline of a teacher will affect the better formation of teacher professionalism with value of the influence of the headmaster's leadership (83.72%), teacher discipline (22.15%), and combination of leadership of the madrasah-discipline teacher (17.2%).

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan Karismatik berpengaruh signifikan dan positif diterima terhadap disiplin kerja guru, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan T<sub>hitung </sub>&gt;T<sub>tabel </sub>(3,49&gt;1,97) dan nilai koefisien loading faktor sebesar 0,33; (2) kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh signifikan dan positif diterima, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan T<sub>hitung </sub>&gt;T<sub>tabel </sub>(6,67&gt;1,97) dan nilai koefisien loading faktor 0,65; (3) hasil uji bersama-sama kepemimpin karismatik dan kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja guru, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan F hitung sebesar 5.155, nilai prob&lt;alpha (0.007&lt;5%), dan nilai R-square sebesar 51,44% sudah baik karena memiliki nilai lebih dari 50%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan karismatik dan kompetensi kepribadian guru yang baik memiliki tingkat disiplin kerja guru yang tinggi.</p><p><em>The research aims to analyze the influences charismatic leadership and personality competence of teacher towards the discipline of work of states elementary teacher. The primary data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics that is SEM and path analysis (simultan method that is uji-F). The result showed that: Firt, charismatic leadership significant influence and be accepted positively on the discipline of work of states elementary teacher, this was proved by T<sub>hitung </sub>&gt;T<sub>tabel </sub>(3,49&gt;1,97) and factor loading coefficient value equal to 0,33. Secondly, personality competence of teacher significant influence and be accepted positively on the discipline of work of states elementary teacher, this was proved by T<sub>hitung </sub>&gt;T<sub>tabel </sub>(6,67&gt;1,97) dan factor loading coefficient value equal to 0,65. Third, the test results together charismatic leadership and personality competence of teacher towards the discipline of work of states elementary teacher, this was proved by F hitung amounting to 5.155, prob score&lt;alpha (0.007&lt;5%), dan R-square equal to 51,44% is good because it has a value of more than 50%. So it can be concluded that charismatic leadership and good teacher personality competence have a high level of teacher work discipline.</em></p>

This research is based on the importance of teacher competence, including personality competence as a role model in applying the character of discipline. That way, this research has a goal of how the teacher's personality competence in applying the character of discipline, especially the process of strengthening the character of discipline in students through giving examples in learning activities, supporting factors and inhibiting factors for strengthening the character of discipline in students, and the discipline character of students in MI Mambul Hikam Binglu after giving the example. The data collection tools used are observation, interviews, and documentation as well as descriptive analysis. In general, the results of the research show that the Teacher's Personality Competence in Applying Disciplined Characters in Class IV MI Mambaul Hikam Binglu is good. In addition, the supporting and inhibiting factors for strengthening the character of discipline carried out by resource persons at the school indicate that there are several influencing factors, one of which is parents who are able to work well together. However, some parents have not been able to properly monitor the tasks given. For the disciplined character of students after giving an example by the fourth grade teacher, it is quite good.

The results of this study can be concluded that: at MTs Al Islamiyah Balorejo Bonorowo in implementing preventive discipline teacher performance has been carried out since the inception of MTs Al Islamiyah Balorejo Bonorowo, while corrective discipline has also been carried out, but the punishment given is not so burdensome in the sense that it is still just reprimand. Meanwhile, corrective discipline at MTs Al Islamiyah Balorejo Bonorowo so far has only served as a reference, a reference to make teachers more disciplined. At MTs Al Islamiyah Balorejo Bonorowo in carrying out discipline obeying the rules and performance penalties are always applied because it is a rule that must be carried out by all teachers and employees at MTs Al Islamiyah Balorejo Bonorowo in order to improve discipline.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the causal factors and the impact caused by the problem of low teacher discipline. This study uses a qualitative approach, with problem analysis techniques using tree diagrams and descriptive analysis techniques. The location of this study was conducted at Wates 1 Sumbergempol Public Elementary School, Tulungagung Regency. Data collection techniques in this study by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Through this research can find findings from data analysis or the problem under study. The results of this study indicate that the low discipline of teachers in Wates 1 Sumbergempol Public Elementary School, Tulungagung Regency is caused by the following factors: (1) the teacher arrives late and returns before his time; (2) school regulations that are not implemented optimally; and (3) there is no supervision from the principal regularly and continuously. Abstract:
This study aims to (1) find out that the principal's leadership affects the teacher's work discipline, (2) work motivation affects the teacher's work discipline, (3) the principal's leadership and work motivation have a joint effect on teacher work discipline. The respondents to the study were teachers of State Elementary Schools in Bandar Sei Kijang District, Pelalawan Regency, totaling 176 people with a sample of 122. Data collection is carried out through the dissemination of questionnaires. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, inferential statistical analysis. The reliability coefficient of the instrument is calculated using the cronbach alpha formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the principal's leadership on teacher work discipline by 0.533, and there was a positive and significant influence of work motivation on teacher work discipline of 0.666. Meanwhile, together there is an influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation on teacher work discipline of 0.702.

Abstract:
This research aims to analyze the effect of professional competence and teachers’ discipline to teachers’ performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Gantarang District of Bulukumba Regency, both partial and simultaneously. This research is a quantitative research with the ex post facto method. Respondents in this research are 41 teachers, taken purposive from 196 teachers. The data collection methods used are questionnaire and documentation then analyzed by using regression analysis to examine the hypothesis. The results of this research indicate that: 1) professional competence affect to teachers’ performance with relative contribution of 40,2% and effective contribution of 17,2%; 2) teachers’ discipline affect to teachers’ performance with relative contribution of 59,8% and effective contribution of 25,6%; 3) professional competence and teachers’ discipline together affect to teachers’ performance with relative contribution of 100% and effective contribution of 42,8%.

The population in this study amounted to 44 people. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique and multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of data processing, the following research results were obtained. The motivation variable partially has a positive effect on teacher performance with tcount> ttable (2.533> 1.684). Discipline variable partially has a positive effect on teacher performance with tcount> ttable (5.931> 1.684). Motivation and discipline variables simultaneously have a positive effect on teacher performance with the value of Fcount> Ftable, namely 5.669> 3,230 ,. The influence of motivation and discipline variables on teacher performance is 72.20% and the remaining 28.80% is influenced by other factors not examined.

This study aims to: (1) determine the extent to which the ability padagogik competence, and (2) labor discipline, for primary teachers in Pundong, Bantul. The entire study population of primary school teachers who already bersertikat educators in Pundong, Bantul, until 2012, of which there are 103 people. The research subject is determined based on the amount that is 25% of the members of the population, ie 30 persons (quota sampling), and determined by the draw of the names of elementary school teachers who received a certificate of education (random sampling). Methods of data collection using the guided interview techniques, to determine the understanding of elementary school teachers to implement pedagogical competence and extent of learning. To get the work discipline of data collection techniques used in the work of the observation of the implementation of primary school teachers. Researchers and research instruments made tested on primary school teachers in the district Bambanglipuro, Bantul many as 12 people. The validity of the instrument using content validity (content validity) and reliability of the instrument using a product moment, corrected Zumun Spearman - Brown. Both proved to be a reliable research instrument (r xy = 0.90)> rtabel (N = 12) for pedagogical instrument, and 0.759> rtabel 5% = 0.576). So the instrument can be used for data collection, because it was proven realibel. Data were analyzed using quantitative methods percentage. The results of the data analysis for variable pedagogic work well (70%), whereas for work discipline variables proved to be very good (83%). Suggested further enhanced awareness of elementary school teachers who are already certified educators, to be grateful for the teachers welfare state, through capacity building pedagogical competence and work discipline, so as to improve the quality of learning and lead to the improvement of education quality.

This concept paper discusses literature highlights to reinforce that legal literacy is vital to be used as a study variable. This survey applies document analysis procedure, which includes a review of several official government documents such as the EDUCATION ACT 1996 (Act 550), Student Disciplinary Procedure, Education Regulations (School Discipline) 1959, and the Children Act 2001 (Act 611). The Federal Constitution is also used as the main reference in this concept paper. This study is able to provide guidance to teachers and educational leaders so as not to face legal risks while carrying out their responsibilities.

This study aims to determine the influence/contribution of school headmasters' academic supervision and teacher work discipline on the work productivity of state elementary school teachers in Mumbulsari District, Jember Regency. This is a quantitative survey research with the number of sample is 148 peoples. Data collection tool is questionnaire with regression techniques for data analysis. The results of this study show that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between the school headmasters’ academic supervision on the teachers’ work productivity in state elementary schools in Mumbulsari District, Jember Regency. (2) There is a positive and significant influence between teachers’ work discipline on teachers’ work productivity of state elementary schools in Mumbulsari District, Jember Regency. (3) There is a positive and significant influence simultaneously on the school headmasters' academic supervision and teacher work discipline on the work productivity of public elementary school teachers in Mumbulsari District, Jember Regency at 59.1%, while as many as 40.9% are influenced by factors other than the headmasters' academic supervision and teacher work discipline. The purpose of this study is the magnitude of the influence between the leadership style of the principal and the work discipline of the teacher both individually and jointly on the performance of the teacher in the Public Elementary School in the Haurgeulis District of Indramayu Regency. This research was conducted to find an analysis of the relationship between school principal supervision and work climate with the motivation of elementary school teachers working in Kertasemaya Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency with correlational and regression techniques. The type of research used is quantitative, namely research based on the calculation of numbers or statistics of a variable to be studied separately and then connected. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded (1) there is a positive and significant influence of the principal's leadership style (X1) on Teacher's performance (Y) in Public Elementary Schools in the Haurgeulis District of Indramayu Regency. The magnitude of the influence of the principal's leadership style (X1) on Teacher performance (Y) in Public Elementary Schools in the District of Haurgeulis in Indramayu Regency was 6.84% and the rest was influenced by teacher discipline variables and other variables not examined in this study. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of teacher work discipline (X2) on Teacher performance (Y) of Public Elementary Schools in Haurgeulis District, Indramayu Regency. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian statistik deskriptif kuantitatif, untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel kedidiplinan guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMP Unismuh Makassar. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Unismuh Makassar yang berjumlah 153 orang. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil sebanyak 30 % dari populasi yaitu sebanyak 50 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, pemberian angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan tersebut dianalisis dengan analisis regresi untuk mengetahui pengaruh antarvariabel, yaitu pengaruh variabel kedisiplinan guru terhadap preatsi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kedisiplinan guru di SMP Unismuh Makassar berdasarkan data, diperoleh nilai R sebesar 0, 714 yang menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat besar antar variabel. Selain itu diperoleh R square sebesar 0,51 yang menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan guru mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa di SMP Unismuh Makassar 51, % dan sisa yaitu 49% yang dipengaruhi variabel lain.Kata Kunci : Kedisiplinan, Prestasi belajarThis research is a quantitative descriptive statistics, to determine the effect of variable kedidiplinan teachers on student achievement SMP Unismuh Makassar. The study population was all students of SMP Unismuh Makassar totaling 153 people. Is Sample in this research taken as much as 30% of the population of many as 50 people. The collection techniques using observation, giving inquiry, interviews, and documentation. The collection were analyzed using regression analysis to determine the effect among variables, namely the effect of variable preatsi discipline of teachers to student learning. The results showed that the implementation of the discipline of teachers in junior hight school Unismuh Makassar based on the inquiry, obtained by the R number of 0, 714 which shows the enormous influence among variables. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of morale and work discipline on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Taliwang, West Sumbawa Regency. The population in this study were all teachers at SMPN 1 Taliwang, West Sumbawa Regency, totaling 32 people. The researchers took the entire population to be used as a research sample (census sampling). Data in the study were collected through questionnaires distributed to research respondents and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques, individual parameter hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous parameter hypothesis testing (F-test), and determinant coefficient test (R2). The results of this study indicate that work enthusiasm and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Taliwang, West Sumbawa Regency, both partially and simultaneously. The degree of influence of work enthusiasm and work discipline on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Taliwang, West Sumbawa Regency is 89.1%, while the remaining 10.9% is influenced by other variables outside this research model, such as the work environment, principal leadership patterns and others.

Abstract Purpose: This study aimed to determine what percentage of the influence, academic supervision, and discipline of educators on teacher performance. Research methodology: This research used quantitative methods and uses a questionnaire. Results: The results show that (1) there is an effect of X1 against Y (tcount 7,381 > ttable 1,664) and the magnitude of the influence is 41,4%, (2) There is an effect of X2 on Y (tcount 6,441 > ttable 1,664), the effect is 36,4%, (3) multiple regression test, fcount 39,781 > ftable 3,12, which means that there is an effect of academic supervision and teacher discipline together on the performance of SDN teachers in Batanghari sub-district, East Lampung district, amounting to 51.1%. Limitations: The research instrument does not yet have a balanced capacity between the factors that are used as instrument items and the seriousness of filling in the instrument, maybe the answer is not in accordance with the actual conditions. Contribution: The benefits of this research are expected, (1) as a consideration in fostering and developing teacher careers, (2) it can be used as a literature review on improving teacher discipline, (3) for the author, as a condition for completing studies at the Muhammadiyah Metro University Postgraduate Program.

The purpose of this study was to determine the Impact of Leadership Style, Organizational Climate, and Compensation on the Discipline of Teachers in Mamba'ul Ihsan Ujungpangkah Gresik while partially and also simultaneously. Quantitative methods is used in this research with a 38 total population and also as sample. Saturated sampling techniques is used for method. The analysis in this research includes: validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis (R²), t test and F test. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained by the regression equation Y = 1.140 + 0.202X1 + 0.641X2 + 0.269X3 + e. To find out the strength of the relationship between variable X and Y, a statistical calculation using the correlation coefficient formula is obtained R Square = 0.627. This shows that all variable are have a strong relationship. The statistical test found that partially the influence of leadership style on teacher discipline obtained a figure of 2,078. and than organizational climate on the discipline of teachers obtained a figure of 5,191. The effect of compensation on the discipline of teachers obtained a figure of 2,857. the leadership style, organizational climate, and compensation simultaneously had a significant impact on discipline, this can be seen from the calculated F value of 19.072.

The purpose of this study are 1) knowing the application of the work discipline of teachers in SDN 02 Sawangan Depok, 2) knowing the application of student learning discipline in SDN 02 Sawangan Depok, and 3) knowing the effect of the teacher's work discipline on the learning discipline of fourth grade students in the SDN 02 Sawangan Depok.This research uses a quantitative approach. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 30 students as respondents. Test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire in this study using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program with type 21.00.The results showed that 1) based on the results of the rating scale analysis test obtained a questionnaire value of 1150 with intervals ranging from 1081-1440. This means that the application of the work discipline of teachers in SDN 02 Sawangan Depok in the category of "Very Good". 2) the application of student learning discipline in class IV at SDN 02 Sawangan Depok based on the results of the scalae rating analysis test obtained a questionnaire value of 1494 the interval ranged from 1441-1920, so it can be concluded student discipline in the SDN 02 Sawangan Depok in the category of "Very Good". 3) there is a significant influence between the teacher's work discipline on student learning discipline at SDN 02 Sawangan Depok which is supported by a correlation number of 0.409 bigger than rtable 0.374 at a significance level of 5% and also the results of the F test which show an Fcount of 5.617 bigger than Ftable of 4.20. Because the value of the correlation test shows rcount bigger than of rtable and the results of a simple regression test show that Fcount bigger than Ftable it can be stated that the hypothesis there is an influence between the teacher's work discipline variables on student learning discipline is accepted. While seen from the coefficient of determination (R) of 16.7% it is known that the influence between the teacher's work discipline variables on student learning discipline is 16.7% which is quite influential.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan besarnya pengaruh secara simultan antara disiplin guru, kompetensi pedagogik, dan motivasi mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 75,4%. Variabel yang memberikan kontribusi paling besar adalah kompetensi pedagogik guru yaitu sebesar 57%, diikuti dengan variabel motivasi mengajar guru yaitu sebesar 55%, dan disiplin mengajar sebesar 52,4%. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial dan secara simultan variabel disiplin guru, kompetensi pedagogik, dan motivasi mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMA Katolik Rex Mundi Manado Kata Kunci: Disiplin guru, Kompetensi pedagogik guru, motivasi kerja guru, Motivasi belajar siswa Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of teacher discipline, pedagogic competence, and working motivation toward the student's motivation to learn of SMA Katolik Rex Mundi Manado. The method of data collection used questionnaires, documentation, and interview. The result of the research indicated Simultaneous influence between teachers' discipline, pedagogic competence, and working motivation on students' motivations to learn was 75,4%. The variable that gave the biggest contribution was pedagogic competence, about 57%, followed by the teachers working motivation which was 55%, and teaching discipline was 52,4%. The conclusion of this study was there were positive and significant influences simultaneously or partially of teachers' discipline variable, pedagogic competence, and teachers working motivation toward the student's motivation to learn of SMA Katolik Rex Mundi Manado. Atas dasar inilah penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengupas Peran guru PKN dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMPK Hewerbura Watublapi dan faktor-faktor penghambat kurangnya kedisplinan peserta didik di SMPK Hewerbura Watublapi. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran guru PKN bukan hanya mengajar tetapi meraka juga berperan sebagai guru pembimbing dalam hal kegiatan akademik dan non akademik, sebagai penasehat bagi setiap siswa yang melanggar, sebagai teladan dalam menjalankan peraturan dan tata tertib sekolah dan sebagai motivator bagi setiap siswa yang kehilangan orientasi hidup. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh guru PKN dengan datang tepat waktu, displin dalam berpakaian, memelihara dan menjaga ketertiban sekolah, menjunjung tinggi nama baik sekolah, tidak meninggalkan sekolah tanpa ijin. Sedangkan faktor-faktor penghambat kurangnya kedisiplinan peserta didik yaitu partisipasi orangtua masing sangat minim dalam menjaga kedisiplinan siswa, pengaruh teman sebaya terhadap kedisiplinan sangat kuat, lingkungan masyarakat, Sikap Masa Bodoh Peserta Didik terhadap nasehat guru. Kata Kunci: Peran Guru, kedisiplinan, dan peserta didik.Abstract: The phenomenon of discipline that occurs in the research location shows that there are symptoms of student indiscipline even though the school concerned has clear and easily accessible rules and regulations. On this basis, this study aims to examine the role of PKN teachers in improving student discipline at SMPK Hewerbura Watublapi and the factors inhibiting the lack of discipline of students at SMPK Hewerbura Watublapi. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results show that the role of PKN teachers is not only teaching but they also play a role as a mentor teacher in terms of academic and non-academic activities, as an advisor to every student who violates, as a role model in implementing school rules and regulations and as a motivator for every student who loses life orientation. This is proven by PKN teachers by coming on time, disciplined in dress, maintaining and maintaining school order, upholding the good name of the school, not leaving school without permission. While the inhibiting factors for the lack of discipline of students are very minimal parental participation in maintaining student discipline, peer influence on discipline is very strong, the community environment, students' ignorant attitude towards teacher advice.Keywords: The role of the teacher, discipline, and students.

This study aims to find out how the teacher strategies of the subjects Akidah Akhlak in improving student learning discipline and how the state of student learning discipline in SDIT Rabbi Radhiyyah 01 rejang lebong district. This research uses qualitative approach with field research type. Observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification/drawing conclusions. The results showed; First, the teacher's strategy of morality in improving student learning discipline by briefing students on the importance of enforcing discipline, teachers setting an example for students in good manners, teachers advising students to be good and teachers to sanction students who violate discipline; Second, the student's learning discipline situation is informed if the student's low interest in learning is due to students lacking introspection, weak student punishment and low support from some parents. In conclusion, the strategies implemented by teachers in improving student discipline by providing examples, advice to be good, as well as weak student discipline conditions caused by students lacking self-introspection, weak student punishment and low support of some parents. This study determined the effect of interpersonal communication and work discipline on teacher performance. This study used quantitative methods. The sample of this research was 50 teachers of SMA Negeri 21 Palembang. Data were collected through questionnaires, documentation study, and observation. Data were analyzed using classical assumption test, multiple linear tests, coefficient of determination test and f-test. The results of this study indicate that there is partially and simultaneously significant effect of interpersonal communication and work discipline on the performance of teachers in SMA Negeri 21 Palembang. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari disiplin guru terhadap kinerja guru di PAUD Kecamatan Tiga Dihaji Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode survey. Adapun cara pengumpulan data terdiri dari angket dan dokumentasi. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 30 guru. Hipotesisi penelitian ini adalah disiplin guru memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja guru PAUD Kecamatan Tiga Dihaji Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan. Untuk mengukur kinerja guru (Y) dan disiplin guru (X) penulis menyebarkan kuesioner kepada guru-guru PAUD sehingga diperoleh data deskriftif kuantitatif. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh yaitu adanya pengaruh yang positif antara variabel X dan variabel Y dibuktikan dengan persamaan Ŷ=2,739+1,299X. Kekuatan antara variabel X dan variabel Y ini sangat kuat dilihat dari hasil determinasi sebanyak 0.990 yang berarti pengaruh antara keduanya yaitu sebesar 99% sedangkan 1% nya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Sedangkan uji hipotesis yang diperoleh yaitu thitung (37,153) > ttabel (2,045). Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa semakin baik disiplin yang diterapkan maka akan membuat kinerja semakin baik pula, sebaliknya jika disuatu lembaga tidak ada kedisiplinan maka kinerja guru dilembaga tersebut akan terlihat sedikit juga. As for the results obtained, namely the existence of a positive influence between the variable X and variable Y as evidenced by the equation Ŷ=2,739+1,299X. the strength between the variable X and variable Y is very strong seen from the results of determination as much as 0.990 which means the influence between the two is equal to 99% while 1% is influenced by other factors. While the hypothesis test obtained is thitung (37,153) > ttabel (2,045). So it can be concluded that the better the discipline applied, the better the performance will be on the other hand if there is no discipline in a institution, the teacher’s performance in the institution will look a little too.
