The master's thesis deals with a support of caching in GVfs (Gnome Virtual filesystem). Basics of caches, cache invalidation, and cache replacement algorithms are described. Description of GIO filesystem abstraction and communication of modules within GVfs is provided next. The disadvantages of individual GVfs modules and, if present, their internal caches are discussed. The target of this master's thesis is to describe, design and construct an extra low voltage three-phase DC/AC inverter for the motor AXI 5345/18, which will work in EC motor mode. In Studies 1 and 2, the relation between Northern Italians (higher status group) and Southern Italians (lower status group) was examined. Haslam and colleagues proposed, in addition to an animalistic, a mechanistic form of dehumanization (the outgroup is assimilated to a robot). The aim of the first two studies was to test Haslam’s (2006) model considering the intergroup relation between Italians and the English. In a pre-test we found that Italian participants did not differentiate the ingroup and the outgroup for the uniquely human traits; conversely, they attributed the typical traits of human nature to Italians and not to the English. Uncontrolled spreading of genetically modified (GM) plants is one of the main concerns about their cultivation. Inducible RNA interference against an essential gene could be a tool for control of GM plants. After spraying with a chemical inducer, the essential gene will be silenced so the treated GM plant will die. For testing this strategy we chose two key enzymes of nitrogen metabolism, glutamate synthase (GOGAT) and glutamine synthetase (GS).
