An urban railway is a complex technical system that consumes large amounts of energy, but this means of transportation still has been obtained more and more popularity in densely populated cities because of its features of high-capacity transportation capability, high speed, security, punctuality, lower emission, reduction of traffic congestion. The improved energy consumption and environment are two of the main objectives for future transportation. Electrified trains can meet these objectives by the recuperation and reuse of regenerative braking energy and by the energy - efficient operation.

In this study, the relationship between heavy metals (HMs) concentrations in soils and several weeds including Cyclosorus parasiticus, Dicranopteris linearis, Pityrogramma calomelanos, and Pteris vittata in three mining sites (Cam Gia (Thai Nguyen city), Tan Long (Dong Hy district), and Ha Thuong (Dai Tu district)) in Thai Nguyen province, Vietnam, have been investigated. The levels of HMs varied among soil origins and showed the contaminations of As, Cu, and Pb in soil samples collected in Dong Hy and Dai Tu districts. Asiatic citrus canker caused by Xanthomonas citri pv. citri is a bacterial disease of major economic importance in tropical and subtropical citrus-producing areas. It probably originated in Asia (2). X. citri pv. citri induces erumpent, callus-like lesions with a water-soaked margin on aerial organs of the plants. Severe attacks cause premature fruit drop and twig dieback. This pathogen has consequently been subjected to international quarantine regulation and eradication efforts. Two pathogenic variants of X. citri pv. citri can be separated by their host range. This study aims at determining if organic tea farming results in higher net income than conventional tea farming in the mountainous areas of Northern Vietnam. Our sample includes 226 traditional and 319 organic tea-producing households in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Ha Giang, and Lai Chau. Using a propensity score matching approach, the study finds that the adoption of organic tea production had a positive impact on households’ farm income in the study area. Using different matching algorithms, organic tea adopters earned higher income than did non-adopters, from 1038.8 to 1059.0 th
