Abstract:

ABSTRAK Tulisan ini akan membahas mengenai kemampuan komunikasi siswa berkemampuan terbatas bernama Habibi yang hidup di tengah siswa normal seusianya. Kemampuan komunikasi yang dimiliki oleh Habibi akan diliat dari (1) kemampuan Habibi dalam bertindak tutur ilokusi, yang meliputi tindak tutur asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklarasi; (2) kemampuan Habibi dalam memahami implikatur percakapan; (3) kemampuan Habibi dalam memahami praanggapan; dan (4) kemampuan Habibi dalam menggunakan deiksis. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa (1) Habibi hanya mampu menggunakan empat jenis tindak tutur. Secara terperinci, Habibi hanya mampu menggunakan sembilan dari 28 jenis tindak tutur; (2) Habibi mampu memahami pesan-pesan yang terimplikasi atau tersembunyi dalam tuturan meski respon yang dia berikan terhadap mitra tuturnya, teman sebaya dan guru, berbeda; (3) Habibi gagal dalam memahami pengetahuan bersama yang seharusnya dia miliki bersama mitra tutur; dan (4) Habibi mampu menggunakan deiksis dalam komunikasinya, yaitu persona, tempat, dan waktu meski bentuk-bentuk deiksis yang mampu Habibi gunakan hanya terbatas pada bentuk-bentuk bahasa Madura. Literature generally involves all aspects of human life and life, events in works of fiction as well as events in everyday life, always carried by a certain character or perpetrators. The formulation of the problem in this analysis is how the characterization of Ainun figure is expository and dramatic in novel Habibie and Ainun Karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie ?. The results of data analysis and discussion, In revealing the figure Ainun figure, the author uses the technique of depiction of figures proposed by Nurgiyantoro, the technique of depiction of characters in a literary work can be distinguished in two techniques, namely expository techniques and dramatic techniques, through the technique of Ainun figure expression in novel Habibie and Ainun by Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie can be concluded that he is a figure of a very patient, while through dramatic techniques that include skillful techniques, behavioral techniques, techniques of mind and feeling, stream of consciousness techniques, reaction techniques, techniques of reactions of other figures, background and techniques of physical representation, figure Ainun is obedient and obedient to her husband, kind, responsible, has a very patient personality, he is a figure of a figure who likes peace, peace. But he had tested his loyalty to the husband that when he had to live mediocre when he was in Germany, he learned to use the maximum time so that everything can be resolved properly set the menu cheap but healthy, take care of children, husband and work. Abstract:

RESUMO Neste trabalho, apresento e discuto a transculturalidade, as imagens e a tradução na graphic novel Habibi (2011), de Craig Thompson, buscando mostrar como tal obra é uma tradução transcultural, já que se propõe a representar um mundo árabe oriental para olhos ocidentais, mas incorrendo no mesmo orientalismo institucionalizado que permeia diversas outras obras de arte, científicas e políticas do mundo ocidental, as quais tendem a diminuir e a homogeneizar as diversas culturas dos povos habitantes do que se chama atualmente Oriente Médio. No caso de Habibi, é pelos corpos e cenários que o orientalismo mais se faz presente, evocando a velha fórmula das mil e uma noites enquanto conta sua história - como se todos os povos do Oriente Médio vivessem no deserto usando turbantes, entre outros estereótipos. Ao final, apresento uma possibilidade de tradução através das imagens da graphic novel, de modo a tentar diminuir, ao menos um pouco, a influência do orientalismo enviesado em Habibi.

Si bien, un proceso histórico no se define definitivamente en pocos años, la tendencia es preocupante. Teniendo en cuenta las visitas a la región entre 2011 y 2015, revisamos los puntos más relevantes sobre los cuales se centra el debate del fracaso de dichas revueltas. La paradoja está en las limitaciones propias de explicar un fenómeno todavía en curso y la necesidad académica (y política) de hacerlo. Estas limitaciones implican el riesgo de errar; sin embargo, creemos que sí existen elementos medianamente comunes, o por lo menos significativos en varios contextos diferentes, que permiten responder la pregunta: ¿Qué pasó habibi?

Abstract:

Abstract This study aims to identify and compare the strategies applied by native Farsi Translators, Parviz Dariyush (1975) and Soroush Habibi (2009), in rendering the vernacular dialect (Chicano English) of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men (1965) as a sociolect into Farsi. One hundred samples which contained seven unique characteristics of vernacular dialect limited to the two main characters of the novel, George and Lennie, were extracted from the novel with their Farsi equivalents. Sienkiewicz (1984, as cited in Berezowski 1997: 35) proposed strategies for the translation of dialects are taken as the model for this study to investigate the way dialectal features are dealt with in the selected parts and to check whether the procedure proposed by Sienkiewicz is sufficient and adequate for their translation. Analysing these samples, the results showed that one-to-one transference of dialectal elements is not practically possible into Farsi. However, both translators used phonological, syntactical, and morphological irregularities of Colloquial Farsi to show that the language of the novel is not standard language. Approximate Variety Substitution is the most frequent strategy used by Habibi and Dariyush. The aim of this strategy is to select a colloquial variety that has some dialectal features such as lexical, phonological, and morphological specifics and at the same time does not present an obvious recognizable TL dialect.

Abstract:

That Ibn Sīnā’s “Canon of medicine” figures among the major classics of the history of medicine is doubted by no serious historian of medicine, eastern or western, Islamic or non-Islamic alike. It is therefore all the more surprising that so far no serious critical edition of this text was available. Certainly, a first, very timid step toward a really critical edition (published during the years 1982-1996) was made at the Institute of the History of Medicine and Medical Research (New Delhi), under the direction of Hakeem Abdul Hameed (1908-1999). It compared the four existing editions: Rome 1593; Būlāq (Cairo) 1877; Tehran (lithograph) 1878; and Lucknow 1905. In addition it used (a photocopy of) an ancient manuscript of Aya Sophia, dated 618, i. e. MS Aya Sophia 3686. With this new edition a further important step toward a full critical edition is made. Even if it is obvious that it does not yet present a “critical edition” in the full sense of the word, it has important merits.

Abstract:

The article reveals the role of the ghazal genre in the development of poetic form and content in Uzbek poetry in the second half of the twentieth century. The poems of Uzbek poets Habibi, Sabir Abdulla, Chustiy, Charkhiy, Erkin Vahidov, Abdulla Aripov are the basis for the analysis. The main theme of the article is to cover the issues related to the prosody characteristics and content of the simple ghazal, ghazal-i qit’a, ghazali musajja’, ghazali muvashshahi ta’rikh and reversible ghazal metre in the works of these artists. It also discusses ghazal muvashshahi ta’rikh, which are not found in the history of Uzbek literature, and the possibilities of ghazal types with reversible prosody are analyzed.

In the chemical graph theory, graph invariants are usually referred to as topological indices. The second Zagreb index (denoted by [Formula: see text]) is one of the most studied topological indices. For [Formula: see text], let [Formula: see text] be the collection of all non-isomorphic connected graphs with [Formula: see text] vertices and [Formula: see text] edges (such graphs are known as tetracyclic graphs). Recently, Habibi et al. [Extremal tetracyclic graphs with respect to the first and second Zagreb indices, Trans. on Combin. 5(4) (2016) 35–55.] characterized the graph having maximum [Formula: see text] value among all members of the collection [Formula: see text]. In this short note, an alternative but relatively simple approach is used for characterizing the aforementioned graph.

The response of vitrified mouse MII oocytes in the presence of two concentrations of cryoprotectants [vit1 (15%: 7.5% dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)+7.5% ethylene glycol (EG) and vit2 (30%: 15% DMSO+15% EG)] was analyzed to investigate whether reducing cryoprotectant concentrations can affect oocyte survival after cryopreservation by the cryotop method. After thawing the survival, fertilization, cleavage and blastocyst rates were compared with unfrozen oocytes. It can be concluded that 15% cryoprotectant (7.5% DMSO+7.5% EG), instead of the commonly used 30% (15% DMSO+15% EG), could be helpful by moderating the probable toxic effects of vitrification solution in mouse oocyte during vitrification by cryotop.

Abstract:

AbstractThis article analyzes two popular Golden Era belly-dance films, Sigara wa Kass (A Cigarette and a Glass, 1955) and Habibi al Asmar (My Dark Darling, 1958), through concepts of queer spectatorship, queer time and space, homoerotic triangulation, and queer containment. The analysis centers women, attends to women’s homoeroticism and nonnormative desires, and reads popular film as constituted by and constituting of mainstream conventions of gender and sexuality. It argues that mainstream belly-dance films made considerable space for homoerotic exchanges amid women. Golden Era belly-dance films reveal a rich gender and sexual diversity in Egyptian cultural production, rather than the Orientalist representation of an explicitly homophobic “traditional” Arab culture. In this sense, the article recovers women’s nonnormative and queer legacies within popular Egyptian texts. It does not insinuate homosexuality as inherent but instead locates possible Arab cultural engagements with women’s queerness that have been overlooked.

Materials and methods A total of 175 participants, aged 18 to 60 years with a necrotic central incisor, with or without preoperative pain, participated. They received postoperative paracetamol tablets and were asked to report back if unbearable pain/swelling developed. Results A 10% flare-up rate was recorded, while none of the studied factors had a significant relationship with flare-up. Conclusion The relationships between flare-up and studied related factors were not proven. Clinical significance Age, gender, visit type, treatment duration, preoperative pain and intraoperative pain have no effect on flare-up incidence. Abstract:

Discussions on Tawassul have been done by scholars since antiquity. However, the diversity of beliefs that have emerged lately including the existence of the 'Selawat Perdana' and ‘Malam Cinta Rasul’ phenomenon that was brought by Habib group causing discussion on this issue to become warm again. Among the expressions introduced by the Habib group in their occasion were al-Madad Ya Rasulullahwhich in that expression includes the practice of Tawassul with the dead and Tawassul with the word Madad.What is more alarming is that the Islamic community is so easy to accept the practices introduced by Habib group because of their position as the descendants of the Prophet. Hence, this paper is produced to re-evaluate the arguments submitted by the Habib group in defending the practice of Tawassul with the dead and with the word of Madad. This study is a qualitative study using case study method where the data collection process is done through content analysis and internet studies. Meanwhile, the data analysis process is done through descriptive, thematic and comparative approaches. The findings show that the arguments posed by some of the Habib's groups against these two issues were not strong and thus the necessity of the practices was also questioned. The results of this study have important implications for the Muslim community to evaluate whether the Tawassul practices highlighted by the Habibians are in accordance with the law or otherwise.Pembicaraan tentang masalah Tawassul telah dilakukan oleh para ulama sejak jaman dahulu. Namun, keragaman keyakinan yang muncul akhir-akhir ini termasuk keberadaan fenomena 'Selawat Perdana' dan 'Malam Cinta Rasul' yang dibawa oleh kelompok Habib menyebabkan diskusi tentang masalah ini menjadi hangat lagi. Di antara ekspresi yang diperkenalkan oleh kelompok Habib dalam kesempatan mereka adalah al-Madad Ya Rasulullah yang dalam ungkapan itu termasuk praktek Tawassul dengan orang mati dan Tawassul dengan kata Madad. Yang lebih mengkhawatirkan adalah bahwa komunitas Islam begitu mudah untuk menerima praktik yang diperkenalkan oleh kelompok Habib karena posisinya sebagai keturunan Nabi. Oleh karena itu, makalah ini dibuat untuk mengevaluasi kembali argumen yang diajukan oleh kelompok Habib dalam membela praktik Tawassul dengan orang mati dan dengan kata Madad. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus dimana proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui analisis isi dan studi internet. Sementara itu, proses analisis data dilakukan melalui pendekatan deskriptif, tematik dan komparatif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa argumen yang diajukan oleh beberapa kelompok Habib terhadap dua masalah ini tidak kuat dan dengan demikian perlunya praktik juga dipertanyakan. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi komunitas Muslim untuk mengevaluasi apakah praktik Tawassul yang disorot oleh Habibian sesuai dengan hukum atau sebaliknya.

ABSTRACT Aim To reevaluate all cases previously diagnosed as calcifying odontogenic cyst (COC) from the archives of the Department of Oral Pathology at Mashhad Faculty of Dentistry from 1978 to 2008. Materials and methods Clinical histories and microscopic slides of all cases diagnosed as COC were reviewed and analyzed statistically. The information about patients such as age, sex, clinical features, radiographic view and other necessary data was gathered from biopsy files. Results The majority of cases occurred in mandible and four cases were peripherally. Thirteen cases were associated with other odontogenic tumors and 11 cases were odontoma type. In two cases, recurrence was reported after surgical treatment which underwent malignant transformation. Conclusion Calcifying cystic odontogenic tumor (CCOT) in Iranian population occurs in younger age group with slightly male predilection and more mandibular, unicystic and simple type. Clinical significance It is better to address the noncystic CCOT lesions with their specific terms in order to make histopathological characteristics clear. ABSTRACT Aim To compare the apical seal of lateral condensation technique, thermafil and one-step by using this model. Materials and methods A two-chamber bacterial microleakage model using E. faecalis as microbial marker was used for evaluation of the leakage. Bacterial penetration was monitored over a 60-day period. Leakage was recorded when turbidity was observed in the lower chamber. Results After comparing the bacterial penetration values, total penetration was observed 45% in lateral condensation technique, 80% in thermafil and 75% in one-step. There was no significant difference between groups after 60 days; however, the microleakage in lateral condensation group was seen later than one-step and thermafil. Conclusion Thermafil and one-step obturator can be advocated as effective obturation techniques for achieving predictable success in endodontic therapy. Clinical significance Thermafil and one-step obturator are suitable devices for obturation. ABSTRACT Aim To address the indications, contraindications, surgical procedure, complications following treatment, factors influencing the results and success rate of intentional replantation procedure. Background Intentional replantation is extraction of a tooth to do extraoral root canal therapy, curettage of apical lesion when present, and its replacement in its socket. It has been proposed as an alternative to routine extraction; however, it should be considered a last resort because the root may be fractured during extraction. Results The success rate of intentional replantation is far below than routine endodontic treatment or apical surgery. Difficultness of tooth extraction, the possibility of fracture during extraction and the risk of external resorption are some limitations of this treatment. The most common causes of failure in intentionally replanted teeth are external inflammatory resorption or replacement resorption and ankylosis caused by periodontal ligament damage. Conclusion The success rate up to 95% with an average retention of 3 to 5 years, has been reported. Clinical significance In some cases, endodontic retreatment or apical surgery is impossible or impractical. In these situations, intentional replantation may be considered as a last resort for preserving the tooth, so all clinicians should know about its indications/contraindications, surgical procedure and complications following treatment. Science process skills (SPS) are essential to assist the learning of senior high school students according to the 2013 curriculum, which prioritizes a scientific approach. The learning method that supports SPS is experiment methods. Nevertheless, learning with experimental methods is still rarely applied in schools, especially in the sound intensity level concept. The reason is the limited number and variant of experiment tool kits to support learning in schools. This study aims to develop a sound variable intensity level sound tool kit based on development procedures proposed by Jan van de Akker (2006). Sound variable intensity level kit was developed based on tool kit, which was developed before by Fikri Habibi. Sound variable intensity level experiment kit was evaluated by several learning media and learning material experts before being tested on high school students in several stages, including the one-on-one evaluation stages, small group evaluations, and field tests. The researcher revised the sound variable intensity level kit based on suggestions from the experts and the students. After being revised, the sound variable intensity level kit was tested on summative evaluation. Based on the results of summative evaluations, the sound variable intensity level kit becomes a successful, practical, and effective learning support tool kit for improving the science process skills of the student in the concept of sound intensity level.

Through descriptive methods, analysis of data obtained from interviews and observations has shown that when identity is able to enter the realm of religion, based on the strength of religious roles, it is able to deliver to a very strong position. The style of the role run by Habib Syarif as a research subject shows a moderate religious role, besides being able to maintain local Islamic traditions. In addition, Habib has a meaning and a clan that is quite strong in the eyes of the clergy and the community. <p>In this study, Ni-Al layered double hydroxide (LDH)-Pt nanoparticles (PtNPs) as an inorganic nano-composite was electrosynthesized on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by a facile and fast two-step electrochemical process. Structure and physicochemical properties of PtNPs/Ni-Al LDH/GCE were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry and electrochemical methods. Then, electrocatalytic and stability characterizations of the PtNPs/Ni-Al LDH/GCE for methanol oxidation in alkaline media were investigated in detail by cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and chronopotentiometry measurements. PtNPs/Ni-Al LDH/GCE exhibited higher electrocatalytic activity than PtNPs/GCE and Ni-Al LDH/GCE. Also, the resulted chronoam-perograms indicated that the PtNPs/Ni-Al LDH/GCE has a better stability. Most of the students had difficultyin understanding the concept of chemistry which is abstract and cannot connect the concepts studied with the phenomena in everyday life.This is because the instructional media and learning models used by the teacher do not pay attention to submicroscopic representations and do not link chemistry with the environment around students.This study aims to develop Chemical Interactive Multimedia (CIM) based on PBL (Problem Based Learning) to improve students' Generic Science Skills (GSS). PBL-based CIM was developed on the concept of salt hydrolysis in a tutorial format. This study was a Research and Development using the ADDIE design. The research procedure consists of five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The PBL-based CIM effectiveness test against the GSS of MA Darul Habibi NW Paok Tawah students was carried out at the implementation stage using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire to obtain eligibility data and student responses, as well as a description test to obtain KGS data. CIM based on PBL feasibility data will be analyzed using a five-scale absolute norm, student responses were analyzed descriptively, and GSS data were analyzed using a normalized gain score (N-gain). The validation results show that PBL-based MIK has an average score of 92% which means it was very feasible.The limited trial of 12 students stated that PBL-based CIM met the aspects of appearance, readability, language, and ease of use very well.The results of PBL-based CIM trials in learning can increase students' GSS which is indicated by an average N-gain score of 58% in the moderate category.Therefore, it can be concluded that PBL-based MIK was successfully developed in the very feasible category and could improve students' GSS.

Indeed,a number of Muslim (or perhaps, Islamic) countries like Iran, Pakistan, andthe Sudan have recently taken practical steps towards the total Islamizationof their economic and financial structures. Among the basic characteristicsof an Islamic financial (banking) system is the prohibition of the paymentor receipt of a predetermined (fixed) interest rate which is viewed as usuryand thus prohibited. As an alternative, the Islamic financial system operatesunder the general principle of profit-loss sharing, which effectively transformsbanks into equity-based (investment) firms.As Mallat correctly points out in his preface, the Western notion of profitmaximization does not control the Islamic system. Rather, it is the Shari'ahwhich primarily governs Islamic finance. However, some contributors to thebook, notably William Ballantyne in his introductory chapter, appear to doubtthe feasibility of the Islamic system and its ability to operate in contemporaryeconomies. He argues that "what is required in today's climate, is [amongother things] a restructuring of the Shari'a to fit Western economic concepts"(p. 9-emphasis added).Nevertheless it is my belief, and perhaps the belief of many Muslimscholars in the field, that such a view is unacceptable, for it seems to bein direct conflict with the core of Islam. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan: Pertama, opini mayoritas terhadap foto hoax pada akun @aganharahap terkait mengakibatkan opini minoritas cenderung bungkam. Kedua, PGI dan HKBP menyadari sebuah foto hoax Ahok dan Habib Rizieq Shihab tidak memiliki unsur kebencian dan tidak perlu dikhawatirkan. Ketiga, bentuk perlawanan opini minoritas terlihat dalam Aksi Seribu Lilin untuk Ahok.Kata kunci: Opini publik, foto hoax, Instagram.

Abstract:

<p>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan: 1) Aspek Feminisme dalam novel Habibie & Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. 2) Eksistensi perempuan yang terdapat dalam Novel Habibie & Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. 3) Pokok-pokok pikiran feminisme dalam novel Habibie & Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. 4) Nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam novel Habibie & Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan struktural. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan teknik noninteraktif yang meliputi mencatat dokumen atau arsip (content analysis), observasi tak berperan, teknik simak dan catat, dan teknik riset pustaka. Validasi data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : 1) Aspek Feminisme dalam novel yang meliputi perempuan dan pendidikan, perempuan dan dunia kerja/karir, perempuan dan rumah tangga; 2) Eksistensi perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel Habibie & Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie meliputi : kedudukan sama dalam bidang pendidikan dan pekerjaan, kebebasan menentukan pilihan, dan berperan penting sebagai istri dan ibu dalam rumah tangga; 3) Pokok pikiran feminisme dalam novel Habibie & Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie meliputi : sosok perempuan cerdas, kemandirian tokoh perempuan serta rela berkorban & tangguh dan; 4) Nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam novel Habibie & Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie antara lain : Nilai Agama, Nilai moral, nilai sosial dan nilai budaya.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci :</strong> Novel Habibie & Ainun, Kajian Feminisme, Nilai Pendidikan</p>

Permasalahan penelitian adalah konteks sosial pengarang, cermin masayakat dalam novel, dan fungsi sosial yang terdapat pada novel Habibie dan Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, manfaat pada penelitian ini menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan mengenai analisis terhadap sastra dan memberikan pelajaran atau membantu pembaca untuk memahami isi makna yang diungkapkan yang terkandung pada novel Habibie dan Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie dengan menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan konteks sosial pengarang, gambaran cermin masayarakat dalam novel Habibie dan Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, dan fungsi sosial pada novel Habibie dan Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel. Adapun teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian pada novel Habibie dan Ainun karya Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie sangat dipengaruhi oleh konteks sosial pengarangnya, masyarakat yang terdapat dalam novel dan fungsi sosial yang sangat baik.
