Abstract:
Abstract This article discusses the text of the hadith: "Hadith Turns Me With the Poor People" from the side of the hadiths and understands the hadith using the hermeneutic theory approach in the hadith. This research is research based on the library (library research). The approach used is descriptive qualitative which aims to describe or describe the existing or actual facts of the object under study. The results of this study indicate that the quality of the hadiths from the narrative path is dha'if (weak) based on the comments of hadith critics scholars in the books of al-jarh wa al-ta'dil and the hadith scholars conclusion that hadith dha'īf is not including false it can be part of moralities. The real method of hermeneutics to explain hadith texts contributes to enriching the explanation of the explanation hadiths, or sharh hadiths, so the meaning of the hadith text is that the words of miskin( poverty), al-masakin(needy) mean humility, reverence, and humbleness. And the meaning of hadith has been strengthened by presenting other hadiths as witnesses or i'tibar(regard). Keywords: hermeneutics, hadith, poor. Abstrak Artikel ini membahas teks hadits: “Hadits Hidupkan Saya Bersama Orang Miskin” dari sisi sanad/jalur periwayatan hadistnya dan memahami hadits dengan pendekatan teori hermeneutika dalam hadits. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif berdasarkan perpustakaan (library research). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan atau menggambarkan kenyataan yang ada atau kenyataan aktual dari objek yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kulitas hadist dari jalur periwayatnya dha’if atau lemah berdasarkan komentar ulama kritikus hadits dalam kitab-kitab al-Jarh wa al-Ta’dil dan simpulan ulama hadits bahwa hadits dha’if yang bukan hadits palsu dapat dijadikan bagian dari fadha’il al-a’mal. Sesungguhnya metode hermeneutika untuk menjelaskan teks-teks hdits memberi kontribusi memperkaya upaya penjelasan/ syarh hadits/ teks hadits maka makna teks hadits bahwa ucapan kemiskinan / miskinan , al-masakin maknanya adalah kerendahan hati, ke_khusyu’-an dan tawadhu’. Dan makna hadits telah dikuatkan dengan menghadirkan hadits-hadits lain sebagai syaksi/i’tibar. Kata Kunci: hermeneutika, hadits, miskin

Abstract:
Hadith is the second source of knowledge for Muslims after the Qur'an. The proclamation of a hadith needs to be extracted, to provide power for the development of science because it really comes from the words, actions and taqrir of Prophet Muhammad SAW. In the context of education, there are many hadiths that can serve as the basis of developing the subject of educational evaluation. Based on the study of hadith contained in this article, it is found a hadith history at-Tirmidhi which explains the virtue of honesty and get away from the nature of lies. In addition to the results of research, sanad and matan hadith, this hadith is sahih because the aspect of the content of the hadith does not conflict with the Qur'an and other sahih hadiths. In this article it is also found the meaning of hadith and its implications for the development of educational evaluation that can provide treasures for educators in carrying out the assessment process in learning.Hadis merupakan sumber pengetahuan kedua bagi umat muslim setelah al-Qur’an, kehujjahan sebuah hadis perlu digali sehingga memberikan kekuatan bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan karena memang benar-benar berasal dari ucapan, tindakan maupun taqrir Nabi Muhammad SAW. Dalam konteks pendidikan khususnya evaluasi banyak hadis yang dijadikan sumber landasan pengembangan evaluasi. Berdasarkan penelitian hadis yang ada di dalam artikel ini, didapati sebuah hadis riwayat at-Tirmidzi yang menjelaskan keutamaan kejujuran dan menjauhi sifat kebohongan. Hadits ini bernilai shohih karena secara jalur sanad tidak ada yang terputus dan dari aspek isi hadits tidak bertentangan dengan al-Qur’an dan hadits-hadits shohih lainnya. Selain hasil penelitian sanad dan matan hadits. Di dalam artikel ini juga didapati makna hadis serta implikasinya terhadap pengembangan evaluasi pendidikan yang dapat memberikan khazanah bagi pendidik dalam melaksanakan proses penilaian dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract:
This research was conducted to find out how the writing and quality of the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad in the thesis of students of the Department of Islamic Education, Tarbiyah Faculty and Teacher Training of IAIN Pontianak, in academic year 2013/2014. The research methods used includes; First, do takhrij al-hadith; Second, do I’tibar al-hadith; Third, examine the narrators' personalities and methods of transmission by using, among others, the knowledge of al-jarh wa at-ta'dil. Fourth, conclude the results of the study. There are 100 theses studied, only 25 theses (25%) have hadiths in them, and 75 theses (75%) that do not include hadiths. There are two types of hadith writing in student thesis: First, hadith are written in Arabic text and their translations. Second, only the translation of the hadith was written. In writing the hadith of the Arabic text there are several errors. There is even a hadith text that is different from the translation. This happens, because most of the thesis is about improving the reading of the Qur'an in a particular school. The quality of the hadiths in student theses is 66 Sahih hadiths, 7 Hasan hadiths, 8 Daif Hadiths, 2 very daithic hadiths, 1 false hadith, 1 mauquf hadith, and 1 not known quality of hadith. Students' understanding of the hadith writing and the quality of the hadith is still lacking. Thesis supervisors and examiners are negligent in seeing the traditions of the hadith used by students. [Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penulisan dan kualitas hadis-hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam skripsi mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan IAIN Pontianak tahun akademik 2013/2014. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan antara lain; Pertama, melakukan takhrij al-hadits; Kedua, melakukan I’tibar al-hadits; Ketiga, meneliti pribadi para periwayat dan metode periwayatannya dengan menggunakan antara lain ilmu al-jarh wa at-ta’dil. Keempat, menyimpulkan hasil penelitian. Ada 100 skripsi yang diteliti, hanya 25 skripsi (25 %) yang ada hadis di dalamnya, dan 75 skripsi (75 %) yang tidak mencantumkan hadis. Ada dua macam cara penulisan hadis dalam skripsi mahasiswa: Pertama, hadis ditulis dalam teks Arab dan terjemahannya. Kedua, hanya terjemahan hadisnya yang ditulis. Dalam penulisan hadis teks Arabnya terdapat beberapa kekeliruan. Bahkan ada yang teks hadisnya berbeda dengan terjemahannya. Hal ini terjadi, karena kebanyakan skripsi mengenai upaya peningkatan membaca al-Qur’an di suatu sekolah tertentu. Adapun kualitas hadis-hadis dalam skripsi mahasiswa, adalah 66 hadis Sahih, 7 hadis Hasan, 8 hadis Daif, 2 hadis sangat daif, 1 hadis palsu, 1 hadis mauquf, dan 1 hadis yang belum diketahui kualitasnya. Abstract:
This discussion is intended to determine the degree of the Prophet's hadith. in Sunan Ibnu Majah No. 220. This hadith explains the virtues of scholars and the urge to study. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Researchers used data collection techniques based on information in literary sources in hadith books, books, journals, seminar results, and discussions with experts relevant to the research theme. The data obtained then the researcher analyzes through qualitative data analysis through the data interpretation process, and the researcher provides an adequate explanation. Based on the results of the discussion, the hadith of the Prophet. in Sunan Ibnu Majah No. 220 is a dhaif hadith because in the hadith there is' illat (defect), a break in sanad, and a defect in the hadith narrator. From several lines of supporting hadith, none of the hadiths can raise the hadith's degree because all of them are weak in nature. From several lines of supporting hadith, none of the hadiths can raise the hadith's degree because all of them are weak in nature. However, according to some scholars, hadith dha'if can be used as hujjah (practiced) only for the basis of the virtue of charity (Fadla'il amal). The implication of this paper is to clarify the law (quality) of the Prophet's hadith. in Sunan Ibnu Majah No. 220. Hadith that has been in Takhrij can be scientifically accounted for its quality, so that it is no longer hesitant to be used as a source of Islamic law after the Al-Qur'an.

Abstract This paper examines the contextualization of the understanding of hadiths related to the leadership of the Quraysh tribe, where a problem arises how this hadith text intersects with the sociological and socio-cultural realities of modern society today and Islam has spread throughout the world and each country has already spread. Building and agreeing on a leadership system. This study is a normative literature study where the data comes from literature, books, books and articles related to the hadith study. Sources or studies of references are analyzed with content analysis using language, hadith, history and sociological approaches. Based on this study, the author can conclude that the hadith about the leadership of the Quraysh tribe textually states that the leadership of the Quraysh, however, needs a contextual understanding of the spirit and substance of the hadiths about the leadership of the Quraysh tribe that must be practiced and continue to carry out maqas} syari 'ah ah that is in it such as justice, truth, and protection. Qurratul Uyun is a book in which many explain about marriage. The book created by Syaih Muhammad al-Tahami bin Madani. The book is widely found and taught in the huts of salaf boarding schools in order to provide knowledge that is populated for student who want to get married. One discussion in the Qurratul Uyun is about intimate relationships include the right day and the inappropriate for intercourse, intercourse and intercourse reward. The discussions are explained by quoting the Prophet's hadiths to corroborate the discussion. However, the hadith which is used as the foundation is not all shahih but there are some hadits whose quality is dha’if even maudhu’. The method used in this paper is the method of library research where more refers to the sources of books in the form of books of hadith and books biography of the hadith narration in researching the quality of the hadith. After a thorough study, it was found that not all of the hadiths of intimacy mentioned in the Qurratul Uyun are worth dha’if. There are some who are shahih and can be used as a legal basis. But there are also some hadith intimacy in the book that is worth dha’if so it can’t be used as a legal basis. Some of the hadiths are also worth dha’if but supported with other hadiths of better quality so that can still be the basis of law and its content can be practiced.

Abstract:
To explain of what is meant by the method in understanding the Hadith, it is important to begin this study to find out the foremost terms of method, and “Hadith semantically. A method is defined as “a well-ordered procedure and profoundly thinking to achieve its purpose (in science and et cetera). A systemic working procedure to simplify the implementation of an activity to achieve something has been determined. Therefore, the method in understanding Hadith is the procedures applied in understanding the Hadith. Many figures or scholars sincerely conduct researches on all of the existing Hadiths, both those are found in the Hadith books and those are not. Among many figures and Hadith scholars, both from Islamic world and “experts”, who sincerely studied the Hadith are from Orientalist (Western) circles. In this short article the author took only three Hadith figures for further study regarding to their method in understanding the Prophet’s Hadith. The three figures are Muhammad al-Ghazali, Yusuf al-Qardhawi, and Joseph Schacht. Keywords: Understanding of Hadith, al-Ghazali, al-Qardhawi, Schacht Memperjelas apa yang dimaksud dengan metode pemahaman hadits, penting mengawali kajian ini mengetahui terlebih dahulu istilah metode, dan hadits secara semantik. Metode diartikan sebagai “cara yang teratur dan berpikir baik-baik untuk mencapai maksud (dalam ilmu pengetahuan dan sebagainya); cara kerja yang bersistem untuk memudahkan pelaksanaan suatu kegiatan guna mencapai sesuatu yang ditentukan. Dengan demikian, metode pemahaman hadits adalah cara-cara yang diterapkan dalam memahami hadits. Banyak tokoh atau sarjana yang sungguh-sungguh melakukan penelitian terhadap seluruh hadits yang ada, baik yang terdapat dalam kitab-kitab hadits maupun yang tidak ada dalam kitab hadits. Di antara sekian banyak tokoh dan para sarjana hadits baik dari kalangan dunia Islam maupun “ahli” yang sungguh- sungguh mempelajari hadits dari kalangan orientalis (Barat). Dalam artikel singkat ini penulis hanya mengambil tiga tokoh hadits untuk dikaji lebih jauh terkait metode pemahaman mereka terhadap hadis Nabi. It is unfortunate that the hadith which actually comes from the Messenger of Allah (saws) is marred by the emergence of hadiths of maudhu (false) that are deliberately fabricated by certain people with diverse motives and purposes, and is disseminated in the midst of society by some with a variety of purposes as well. Believing and practicing hadith maudhu is a big mistake, because although there are hadith maudlu whose contents are good, but most of the false hadith is contrary to the spirit and spirit of Islam, besides the making of hadith maudlu is a lie to the Prophet Muhammad. The spread of Hadith Maudhu 'in the midst of society, although there are hadith maudhu' which is good, but many of which bring negative impact (effect), one of them is to cause and sharpen the division among Muslims. Educators are the best curriculum for applying knowledge, culture, and science. As for realizing all these goals, it is necessary to have the right idea. From that, the ideas conveyed by Nadiem Makarim the Indonesian Minister of Education, will be correlated in the hadith perspective. This idea can be drawn from five important points, namely, class discussion, the role of students in teaching and learning activities, fostering the social spirit of students, discovering student’s identities, cooperation between teachers and students. Where these ideas have been conveyed indirectly through the hadiths, which are, part of the Prophet is learning. Hadiths found through literature study are the Kitab Syarah Bukhari, Fathul Baari, Sahih Muslim, and journals. The method used in this Takhrij al-Hadith is a qualitative study with the sanad criticism approach to determine the authenticity of a hadisth. In the sanad criticism method, the writer uses the Lidwa Pustaka i-software assistance method. Hadith found with the bil ma’na redaction method. So that there are 4 hadiths in the study. The first hadith in Shohih Bukhari no. 5514 regarding the method of question and answer the Prophet. Second, in Shohih Bukhori no. 77 about the virtue of konwledge and teaching. Third, in Shohih Muslim no. 4831 about growing the social soul. Fourth, in Sahih Bukhari no. 5567 about please help. The results of this study indicate tht the hadiths are muttashil (continued) so that the Prophet and his narrators have the predicate ‘fair and dlobitous so that these.

Abstract: This article aims to reveal the authority of al-Bukhary as intellectul figures who have independence in dul scientific authority. He is often assumed as an expert of hadith only. In fact, as a collector of hadiths, he studied those hadiths deeper as a source of law which produced ijtihad products that are different compared to the predecessors. Therefore, some people argue that he is not only an expert of hadith but also a mujtahid (fiqh expert). In this context, it is interesting to explore the intellectul genealogy of al-Bukhary. The findings of this study prove that he succeeded in occupying a high position as an expert of both hadith and fiqh by interacting with many scholars from various regions. This interaction form his intellect which worthy of being called the absolute mujtahid. Al-Bukhary succeeded in exploring fiqh thoughts based on his extensive and deep mastery of hadiths. Through his ijtihad products, al-Bukhary had built a dynamic and authoritative tradition of Islamic intellectul treasure. Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap otoritas al-Bukhary sebagai tokoh intelektual yang memiliki independensi dalam otoritas ilmiah. Ia sering dianggap sebagai ahli hadis saja. Bahkan, sebagai pengumpul hadis, ia mempelajari hadits-hadits tersebut sebagai sumber hukum yang menghasilkan produk ijtihad yang berbeda dibandingkan dengan para pendahulunya. Oleh karena itu, beberapa orang berpendapat bahwa ia bukan hanya ahli hadits tetapi juga seorang mujtahid (ahli fiqh). Dalam konteks ini, menarik untuk mengeksplorasi silsilah al-Bukhary yang intelek. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ia memiliki otoritas independen sebagai ahli hadits dan fiqh. Otoritas tersebut merupakan hasil interaksi dengan banyak ulama dari berbagai wilayah. Interaksi guru-murid dalam upaya kodifikasi hadis ini membentuk kecerdasannya yang layak disebut mujtahid mutlak. Al-Bukhary berhasil mengeksplorasi pemikiran fiqh berdasarkan penguasaan haditsnya yang luas dan mendalam. Melalui produk ijtihadnya, al-Bukhary telah membangun tradisi yang dinamis dan otoritatif dari khazanah intelektual Islam.

Ali Mustafa Yaqub’s Understanding of Hadiths and his Contributions to the Thoughts of Hadiths in IndonesiaThis is a qualitative study that delves into the hadith figure of the 20th century, Ali Mustafa Yaqub. This study aims to reveal Ali Mustafa Yaqub's understanding of hadiths according to his thoughts alongside his contributions to the thoughts of hadiths in the contemporary era. According to him, the study of hadiths in the current era must include Mustalah al-Hadith, Takhrij al-Hadith, Fiqh al-Hadith, and Difa 'an al-Hadith. According to him, the authenticity of hadiths can be known by comparing them with other hadiths from peers, in terms of time, from various narrators, and also from teachers or the works in hadith books. In so doing, the credibility of hadiths is known. Subsequently, his contributions to the thoughts of hadiths extend to introducing orientalist thinking and defending scholars, developing the method of understanding hadiths by establishing Darussunnah Islamic Boarding School, and writing various hadith thoughts that contain reconstructions of the understanding of hadiths in the form of either criticism or new thoughts about hadiths such as the meaning of bid'ah or hadiths in community debates related to law

Artikel ini membahas tentang peran orientalis dalam memandang hadits Nabi Muhammad SAW dengan kacamata mereka. Maksud dan tujuan orientalis tentu mempunyai misi khusus dalam menggoyahkan pegangan umat Islam, yaitu hadits. Sosok orientalis seringkali menganggap rendah ajaran Islam lantaran dari sifat kebenciannya yang merupakan warisan akibat kekalahan di pihak Kristen dalam perang salib. Sehingga muncul nama-nama orientalis dengan mentalitas tinggi dalam memerangi Islam. Salah satunya adalah Ignaz Goldziher dan Joseph Schacht yang aktif dalam mengkritik hadits. Keduanya mempunyai koneksitas dalam dalam mempunyai pandangan sama terkait otentitas hadits. Sehingga perlu tinjauan ulang arah kritik mereka untuk bisa menemukan analisa diskriptif dalam membantahnya. Oleh karenanya, kedua tokoh orientalis tersebut mempunyai hubungan erat dalam pandangannya terhadap hadits, sehingga kita sebagai Muslim tentu mempunyai kewajiban dalam memperjelas terkait otentitas hadits dan ilmu sanad yang benar. This article discusses the role of orientalists in looking at the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW with their views. Orientalist purposes and objectives certainly have a special mission in shaking the grip of Muslims, namely hadith. Orientalist figures often consider the teachings of Islam because of the nature of his hatred which is a legacy of defeat on the war of Christian side. So came the names of orientalists with a high mentality in the fight against Islam. One of them is Ignaz Goldziher and Joseph Schacht who are active in criticizing hadiths. Both have deep connections in having the same view regarding the authenticity of hadith. So it is necessary to review the direction of their criticism to be able to find a descriptive analysis in refusing it. Therefore, the two orientalist figures have a close relationship in his view of the hadith, so that we as Muslims certainly have an obligation in clarifying the authenticity of hadith and the science correct of sanad.

The hadith comic application has the features of presenting comics collaborated with animation, this is so that users listen to the comic storyline correctly and sequentially so as to minimize failure in understanding the core story. This article examines the book Ta‟wil Mukhtalif al-Hadits, written by Ibn Qutaybah. This book is compiled in response to the political turmoil that occurred during his lifetime. Ibn Qutaybah also wanted to dispel the assumption that some groups who accused the scholars of hadith, had committed negligence, by narrating hadiths that are in conflict with each other that are not in line with the Qur‟an and the understanding of reason. This study uses the library method by making the book Ta‟wil Mukhtalif al-Hadits the primary source. In addition, the author uses the theory of hermeneutics as an analytical tool to categorize this book as a hermeneutic book of classical hadith. The results of the study stated that the book Ta‟wil Mukhtalif al-Hadits has its own characteristics in looking at the hadith that seem to be contradictory but in terms of meaning is not, and also he took excellent steps in completing a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad saw., in that method and step until the book Ta‟wil Mukhtalif al-Hadits is categorized as a hermeneutic book of classical hadith. Tulisan ini menelaah kitab Ta‟wil Mukhtalif al-Hadits, yang dikarang oleh Ibn Qutaybah. Kitab ini disusun sebagai respons tentang pergolakan politik yang terjadi pada masa beliau hidup. Ibn Qutaybah juga ingin menepis anggapan sebagian golongan yang menuduh ulama hadis telah melakukan kecerobohan dengan meriwayatkan hadis yang saling berlawanan yang tidak sejalan dengan al-Qur‟an dan pemahaman akal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan menjadikan kitab Ta‟wil Mukhtalif al-Hadits sebagai sumber primer. Selain itu, penulis menggunakan teori hermeneutika sebagai alat analisis untuk mengategorikan kitab ini sebagai kitab hermeneutika hadis klasik. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kitab Ta‟wil Mukhtalif al-Hadits mempunyai karakteristik tersendiri dalam melihat hadis-hadis yang kelihatan saling kontra namun pada segi maknanya tidak, dan juga beliau mengambil langkah-langkah yang sangat baik dalam penyelesaian suatu hadis Nabi Muhammad saw., dalam metode dan langkah itulah hingga kitab Ta‟wil Mukhtalif al-Hadits ini dikategorikan sebagai kitab hermeneutika hadis klasik.

Algoritma Weighted Tree Similarity yang mengelompokan indikator pencarian dengan bobot, algoritma Boyer Moore yang mencocokan keyword dengan teks Serta rumus consine yang menghitung nilai kesamaan antara tree berbobot dari keyword dengan tree database, mampu menghasilkan urutan kemiripan dengan total bobotyang diurutkan secara decending dari data yang mendekati pencarian sampai yang jauh dari data pencarian.ABSTRACT Based on interviews conducted by the author with a preacher as a resource, Al Lu'lu 'Wal Marjan is a book that became the main reference in the Muslim and Muslim preachers because of high level of highness. Even the book of Al Lu'lu 'Wal Marjan became the main reference, the questionnaire writers spread, indicating that there are still many Muslims who have not know hadith - hadith didi. In general, preachers have been using the book as the basis of his speech. This makes it difficult for speakers because the book needs space, weight and is not practical in searching. the devil's devotees digitized the book of Al Lu'lu 'Wal Marjan to the application to help preachers submit their theorem and also introduce the hadits of muttafaqun alaihong Muslim in general. the number of hadiths in the book of Al Lu'lu 'Wal Marjan reached 1906 hadith, then used to find the choice. Algorithm Moving Tree Similarity that categorizes the search indicator by weight, the Boyer Moore algorithm matching the keyword with text And the consine formula that calculates the price between the weighted tree of the keyword with the tree database, is able to generate a sequence of similarities with the accurately ranked total weight of the remote data from search data.

Takhrij is an important method in science of hadith and one of the methodology used by hadith scholar to determine the position ofhadith issued to know the source and the status of hadith either maqbul or mardud. There are 101 dua’ from hadith found, with unknown specified source and status. The objective of this research is purposely to reveal both the validity and to rereview the status of hadith by takhrij means. The methodology used for this research are qualitative by analyzing each hadith with referring to original and authorised scriptures in order to determine the authentic sources as well as status of the hadiths. In conclusion, 52% of the hadiths consist of hadiths maqbul, while 47% of hadiths are mardud, the rest 2% are irrelevent. This study provides contribution for hadith researchers and communities in practising the daily dua’ sourced authentic hadith.

The Shahih Sirah Nabawiyyah by Akram Dhiya al‘Umari is one of the contemporary books of sirah. This research aims to find out the methods of selecting hadiths in sirah nabawiyyah according to Akram Dhiya al-‘Umari. The research is based on the accepted principle of hadith studies that hadith used as hujjah is authentic (shahih) hadiths. If there is no authentic hadith, weak (dhaif) hadiths can be used as long as it is not related to the issues of beliefs (aqeedah) and law. This research concludes that the hadith selection method in sirah nabawiyyah used by Akram Dhiya al-‘Umari is the method of hadith scholars which is flexible in treating the weak hadiths. In sirah nabawiyyah, al-’Umari still prioritizes the authentic hadith as the main source. If the authentic hadith about an issue is not found, the weak hadith can be used. However, it shall be noted that the hadith should not be related to the issues of beliefs (aqeedah) and law.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the methodological study of hadith criticism. The research method is used with the approach of library study through the source of the library from various sources of literature about the methodology of the study of hadith criticism. Then analyzed and presented the data findings objectively. The result of this study is that the criticism of matan hadith is an attempt to research the hadith that is sahīh, in order to know if the hadith is maqbūl or mardūd. As for the steps are: Matan research reviewed from the quality of his isnay, researching the editor of the matan that is as good as it is, researching the content of matan and the latter is concluding the results of matan research. Then there are two methods of criticism that have been used from classical times to modern times, namely the muqāranah method and the mu'āradhah method. This method has been applied by the companions and tabi'in. This shows that criticism of hadith is necessary to be done with the aim of avoiding forgery against the hadith. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang metodologis studi kritik matan hadits. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan pendekatan studi pustaka melalui sumber pustaka dari berbagai sumber literatur tentang metodologis studi kritik matan haditst. Kemudian dianalisis dan disajikan hasil temuan data secara objektif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kritik matan hadits adalah suatu upaya kegiatan penelitian terhadap matan-matan hadits yang sanad-nya sahīh, dalam rangka untuk mengetahui apakah hadits tersebut maqbūl ataupun mardūd. Adapun langkah-langkahnya yaitu: Penelitian matan yang ditinjau dari kualitas sanad-nya, meneliti redaksi matan yang semakna, meneliti kandungan matan dan yang terakhir adalah menyimpulkan hasil penelitian matan. Kemudian ada dua metode kritik matan yang sudah dipakai sejak zaman klasik hingga zaman modern, yaitu metode muqāranah dan metode mu’āradhah. Metode inilah yang sudah diterapkan oleh para sahabat dan para tabi’in. Hal demikian menunjukkan bahwa kritik matan hadits sangat perlu untuk dilakukan dengan tujuan agar menghindari pemalsuan terhadap matan hadits. Kata Kunci: Matan, Langkah dan Metode.

This article offers an alternative perspective at the difference views in the Sunni and Shi’ite hadiths for Mut'ah marriage. Related to the differences both treat and apply that these hadits universally believed to be one of the fundamental sources of Islam. Eventhough, both Sunny and Shi’ite agree to put hadits as a second source of doctrine, but they often actually produce a different formulation of the law and contradictory. The difference of theological view is a fundamental problem that implies on their thought dealing with being accepted or rejected for hadits transmition of Mut’ah merriage. Intersubjectivity approach has roled to positionize these groups as an objective opinion, subjective as well. Both objectivities are located on the seriousness of their respective efforts to obtain the authenticity of the hadith, in which expectations will be both objectivity when hadith of mut’ah marriages take placed purely as historical information. In this position, the awareness together to build the Islamic civilization in the theological differences, are values that should be a priority

One of the problem faced in early childhood now is the weakness in memorizing short hadiths. Hadiths is no lesson that can be achieved by just learning it, without making it. A habit to memorizing it since childhood. Hadits learning through memorization can be started from habituation done at home or school, with habituation installed since childhood wiol provide many benefits to children. The study aims to find out how the implementation of multimedia based learning in memorizing the hadith and the impact it causes as well as supporting in memorizing the hadiths in Raudhatul Atfhal Darul Adib Menteng Medan. This type of research is field research with qualitative descriptive approach the subject of this study Raudhatul Atfhal Darul Adib Menteng Medan students. The result showed that through multimedia based learning in memorizing the short hadiths makes children memorable it will strengthen children’s memory with a sense of heart and build lovw to our prophet Muhammad Saw.

This study examines the position of hadith of chapter 16 in the second volume of the Book of Kasyf al-Ghummah Fi Ahwalil Mauta Fil Barzakh Wal Qiyamah by Syeikh Daud al-Fatani. The research shows that Sheikh Daud wrote this book to answer the demands of the people who wanted to know about death and doomsday. The characteristics of this book present a number of hadiths without specifying the position of the hadith. The findings of the 16 Hadiths find 3 Hadiths of Muttafaqun alaih, 7 are sahih, 1 is hasan, 2 hadiths are dhaif, 3 hadiths are not known to their original sources. Among the 13 hadiths found its source, 11 hadith are maqbul and 2 are mardud.

Women are regarded as “the second class” by some people in pesantrens. Thisknowledge has rooted in hadiths cited in the books studied and implementedin many pesantrens. To counteract this tendency, it is therefore important touse a feminist approach to review and criticize the books which can also beused to understand and solve the problems of mis-interpretation of religioustexts. The misogynist hadiths have been widely circulated and taught in pesantrenunder the authority of Kyai (male religious clerics) and nyai (female religiouscleric) who have the authority to decide which hadiths are allowed to betaught and socialized in religious teachings and sermons. This is because manyteachers emphasize the importance of preserving tradition and religious normsdisegarding gender bias. Some feminist activists have tried to reform the mindsetsof pesantren leaders both male and female by changing the authoritarian modelof leadership to a democractic one. To do this, new historical, sociologicaland anthropological approaches are required to re-interpret and contextualizemisogynist hadiths.Perempuan dianggap sebagai warga “kelas dua” dalam beberapa kitab yangdiajarkan di pesantren. Pengetahuan ini memiliki akar yang kuat dalam hadith-hadith yang dikutip dalam buku-buku yang diajarkan di pesantren. Untuk melawan arus kecenderungan ini, penting untuk menggunakan pendekatanfeminis dengan meninjau kembali dan mengkritik kitab-kitab tersebut.Pendekatan ini dapat digunakan sebagai cara untuk memahami dan menyelesai-kan masalah kesalahan tafsir pada teks teks keagamaan. Hadith-hadits misoginis(membenci perempuan) diajarkan secara luas di pesantren di bawah wewenangPak Kyai atau Ibu Nyai yang menentukan kitab-kitab mana yang boleh dandilarang di pesantren. Para guru tersebut lebih mementingkan menjaga tradisidan norma-norma agama yang seringkali bias jender. Beberapa aktivis feministelah mencoba mereformasi pola pikir para pengasuh pesantren baik lakimaupun perempuan dari kepemimpinan yang otoriter ke kepemimpinan yangdemokratis. Untuk itu, pendekatan-pendekatan historis, sosiologis danantropologis yang baru diperlukan guna memahami ulang hadith-hadithmisoginis tersebut.

This research aims to find out whether all the hadiths narrated in Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari are valid and correct or there are also ḍa’if and weak hadiths. In this article, the researcher has used the descriptive and content analysis method by referring to scientific articles, books of principles of hadith. Hadith annotation books and other books in which the subject has been discussed. In this article, the writer discusses the views and arguments of the scholars who claim that there are consensuses that the book of Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari is the most correct book after the Qur’an and there is no ḍa’if hadith in it. Similarly, the writer discusses the views of the scholars who argue that all the hadiths of Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari are not authentic and there are hadiths in Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari which are not authentic and are ḍa’if. By considering the arguments of both sides, the writer concludes that Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari is the most correct book after the Holy Qur’an, nevertheless, this does not mean that there are no ḍa’if hadiths in Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari and there are many hadiths that are called ḍa’if by the scholars of hadith. Also, the existence of ḍa’if hadiths in the book of Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari does not decrease the scientific ranking and status and level of acceptance of the book and prophetic hadith among the ummah and scholars of Hadith

The purpose of this paper is to make an inventory of the hadiths of the prophet relating to community empowerment, to know his takhrij, and to examine the contents of the hadiths about community empowerment. The method used is a thematic method with a literature research approach by examining the hadiths from capital sources. The conclusion is that the results of an inventory of the hadiths about community empowerment were obtained 129 hadiths from 18 hadith books. Of these 129 hadiths, the writer takes the most relevant hadiths, namely the hadith from Abud Daud Number 1398 on economic empowerment and the hadith from Abu Daud number 18723. Community economic empowerment during the time of the prophet is in the hadith of Abu Daud, while the empowerment of Ahmad's hadith. Meanwhile, community empowerment during the caliphate: education, monotheism, morals, worship, health. The Caliphate then built mosques, appointed teachers, taught the contents of the Al-Quran and other Islamic teachings. The next caliphate: the freedom to teach according to the desired place. And the last Caliphate focused on security and peace. The relevance of community empowerment in educational institutions is very clear amid diversity but it is not yet maximally and evenly distributed. Both in terms of community empowerment in the field of science and community empowerment in the field of economy and welfare.

Sahih al-Bukhari is one of the most well-known books on prophetic sayings that contains a good deal of authentic hadith. That this book is considered authoritative by a great number of Muslims over centuries is in itself an indication that it is an extraordinary piece of work. The author of the book, al-Bukhari was very careful in selecting the prophetic sayings and do not include the weak hadiths in his collection. However upon a closer scrutiny, there are indeed weak hadiths in the book. And the weakness lies in both the chain of narration and in the texts of the hadith narrated. With regard to the former, the weakness is due to the fact that the names of narrators in some hadiths are not clearly mentioned. This results in some hadiths being baseless and having no relation with some other hadiths. As to the latter, the weakness is due to the inclusion of the sayings and the deeds of the prophet’s disciples without there being approval (taqrīr) from the prophet concerning the acceptability of those sayings and deeds. The weak hadiths can nonetheless be elevated by rule to the higher status of good hadith on condition that the weak hadith receives a support from other authentic hadith.

Nowadays, referring to the sources from the internet through websites, apps and private blogs has become a trend among the public. In fact, some of these internet resources do not have any authority and proper control so that it is possible anything can be referred and followed without restrictions and boundaries. Looking at the field of hadith, it is undeniable that websites became a source for the hadith reference. However, the authority and quality of some sites are dissatisfied because they do not meet the minimum criteria as a source of hadith. This article aims to explain the criteria required for using websites as sources of hadith. Through the inductive and deductive analysis methods, this study found ten important criteria for development of hadith websites; [1] Providing full text of hadith; [2] Using scholarly translation; [3] Providing information of the source and takhrij al-hadith (retrieval of hadith); [4] Supplying a brief meaning of the hadiths; [5] A group of qualified committee members or oganizations; [6] Furnishing with friendly interface; [7] Attaching shajarah al-asānid (chain of transmissions ‘tree’); [8] Implementing the themes of the hadith; [9] Categorization of hadiths based on the title of the book; [10] Providing different hadiths as an alternative of fabricated or weak hadiths. This research concludes that these criteria are importance for the development of hadith websites in order to maintain and preserve the authority of the hadith as a referential source of community today.

Hadith has several levels of authenticity, among which are weak (dhaif), and fabricated (maudhu) hadith that may not originate from the prophet Muhammad PBUH, and thus should not be considered in concluding an Islamic law (sharia). However, many such hadiths have been commonly confused as authentic hadiths among ordinary Muslims. To easily distinguish such hadiths, this paper proposes a method to check the authenticity of a hadith by comparing them with a collection of fabricated hadiths in Indonesian. The proposed method applies the vector space model and also performs spelling correction using symspell to check whether the use of spelling check can improve the accuracy of hadith retrieval, because it has never been done in previous works and typos are common on Indonesian-translated hadiths on the Web and social media raw text. The experiment result shows that the use of spell checking improves the mean average precision and recall to become 81% (from 73%) and 89% (from 80%), respectively. Therefore, the improvement in accuracy by implementing spelling correction make the hadith retrieval system more feasible and encouraged to be implemented in future works because it can correct typos that are common in the raw text on the Internet.

This paper describes the criticism of Yusuf al-Qaradawi to the phenomenon of mistaken hadith quoting done usually by Muslim preachers. Although there is a controversy among the scholars of hadith about the use of weak hadths in terms of religious commands and prohibitons, al-Qaradawi considers it important for the Muslim preachers to equip themselves with knowledge of the issues summarized in the science of hadith, such as takhrij al-hadith and rijal al-hadith. This is recommended for the Muslim preachers to be careful of using weak hadiths denied because it contained falsehood. Yusuf al-Qaradawi offerred three additional requirements necessary for the preachers in this context. However, he rejected ethical recommendations for the preachers to quote weak hadiths either in sanad (chain of transmitters) or matn (the content of hadiths)

This, encourages the strong notion that Islam supports discrimination against women. Whereas, the Prophet Muhammad SAW. has made great efforts in humanizing women. The role of the Prophet in humanizing women is manifested in the discourse of hadith. thus, a new understanding is needed in interpreting misogynistic hadiths. In this context, this study aims to reread the misogynistic hadiths in al-Kutub al-Tis'ah (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan at-Turmudzi, Sunan Ibn Majah, Sunan ad-Darimi, Musnad Muwaththa' Iman Malik, Musnad Ahmad bin Hanbal) that related to women as personal, worship, marriage, and public spaces. To achieve this purpose, this study uses takhrij method by confirming from various hadith. As part of the data analysis, this study used gender analysis to map the form of discrimination and reinterpretation of the hadiths. The study conclude that there are 60 misogynistic hadith texts in five forms (22 subordinations, 18 violence, 15 stereotypes, 3 marginalizations, and 2 double burdens), caused by textual, partial and unhistorical interpretations. The rereading of the hadith texts is done holistically by linking and presenting verses of the Qur'an, hadiths and other texts integratively, comprehensively, taking into account historical aspects, and basic ideas of hadith. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengulas kritik Motzki terhadap teori-teori isnad Joseph Schacht dengan argumen-argumennya yang cukup menarik. Sedangkan, metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik untuk mengkaji lebih detail teori <em>backward projection</em>, <em>common link</em>, <em>e silenteo</em> dari Josepht Schacht, dan argumen-argumen bantahan dari Harald Motzki. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagaimana yang diungkapkan Harald Motzki bahwa tidak ada pemalsuan terhadap hadis yang dilakukan oleh ulama hadis seperti yang dikatakan oleh Schacht, karena hadis mulai eksis sejak abad pertama hijriah. Untuk menganalisa <em>common link </em>tidak cukup dengan mengkaji aspek sanad sebuah hadis. So far, the study of orientalist hadiths has always presented skepticism about the validity of the hadiths to rely on the Prophet, especially Joseph Schacht, who was the reference for their hadith study. However, the discourse on the development of orientalist studies did not always produce skeptical experts, as shown in the hadith thought of Harald Motzki. This study aims to review Motzki’s critique of Joseph Schacht’s <em>isnad</em> theories with his interesting arguments. Meanwhile, the research method used in this research is descriptive-analytic to examine in more detail Joseph Schacht’s backward projection, common link, <em>e silentio</em> theories, and Harald Motzki’s arguments. The results of this study are as expressed by Harald Motzki that there is no forgery of hadiths carried out by hadith scholars as stated by Schacht because hadiths began to exist since the first century of Hijri. To analyze common links, it is not enough to study the <em>sanad</em> aspects of hadith. In addition, a study of the hadith’s observations is also needed, because, from the study of these two aspects, the historical source of the formation of hadith can be known. Likewise, if a hadith was not found at a certain time, it could be because they did not know it, and it does not mean that the hadith did not exist at that time.]</p>

Sheikh al-Zarnuji used hadiths of prophet Muhammad s.a.w as the main source and hujjah in Ta’lim al-Muta’allim’s book. He also included some other categories of hadith including da’if and mawdu’ hadiths. The issue is Ta’lim al-Muta’llim’s book contains many da’if and mawdu’ hadiths and have been referred by Muslim. This study is very important to understand the method and rule of practicing of da’if and mawdu’ hadiths. Hence, this study aimed to analyse da’if and mawdu’ hadiths contained in Ta’lim al-Muta’llim’s book. The methodology of this hadith is qualitative method by using content analysis approach toward Ta’lim al-Muta’llim’s book. Thus, the finding for the analysis of 40 hadiths in this book found that only 30% hadith can be used for fada’il al-amal if fulfilled the conditions by the ulama’s. Hence, thematic analysis is important to be done in order to ensure the quantity of da’if and mawdu’ hadiths in this book and also to ensure the da’if hadith can be practiced only for fada’il al-amal matter.

The climax of the theory of Insan kamil is one initiated by Abd al-Karim al-Jili. Abd Al-Karim Al-Jili in al-Insan al-Kamil fi Ma'rifah al-Awail wa al-Awakhir gives new ideas related to the development of Insan kamil theory by providing justification of sufistic-oriented hadiths to strengthen the argument of Insan kamil theory. This study analyzes the book al-Insan al-Kamil fi Ma'rifah al-Awail wa al-Awakhir by Abd al-Karim as a primary source to find answers of questions about the concept of insan kamil which was initiated by al-Jili; How did al-Jili position the hadith in the concept of insan kamil; and how was the source, quality of sanad and style of meaning. To achieve this goal, this study uses the structural exegesis method as an analysis tool to find the influence of interpretation of the text with the interpreter's experience in the context that surrounds him. The way Al-Jili responded to the criticism of the ahl al-sunnah wa al-jama'ah scholars related to Philosophical tasawuf is to list and make the hadith of the Prophet as the basis in building the concept of Insan kamil. Generally, the hadiths he used were valid in terms of hadtis methodology accepted by hadits schoolars, only few of them used Sufi hadiths methodology which were not accepted in the hadith scholarly methodology, such as the method of narration through dreams and mukasyafah. Al-Jili built the concept of insan kamil based on the most basic Islamic teachings, namely the pillars of Islam, the pillars of faith, and the teachings of spiritual ethics as a process to reach the level of insan kamil. Al-Jili added spiritual meaning to the various ritual actions he performs. This paper aims to describe and analyze the tracing of the hadiths in proving the authenticity of Abu Hurairah's prejudiced hadiths that were taken by al Bukhari through partial and simultaneous approaches, and to analyze his fiqhul hadith. The partial approach used in testing the authenticity of prejudiced hadith is carried out by examining the authenticity of the narrators, examining the continuity of the sanad, and examining the obedience of the hadith. Meanwhile, the simultaneous approach is carried out by tracing, analyzing, and concluding the role of tawabi 'and shawahid hadiths. The prejudiced hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah which was takhrij al Bukhari are hadiths that has a quality <em>sahih lidhatih</em>. Besides that, this hadith is also a famous hadith based on the research of the <em>tawabi</em> 'and his <em>syawahid</em>. The hadith also gave an understanding to Muslims in order to avoid prejudice. Prejudice is the most lying word. Bad prejudice will give birth to distrust, apologetics, truth claims, negative labeling, and discrimination. All of this generally leads to conflict, violence and bloodshed, not peace, harmony and brotherhood. This understanding is obtained by means of inductive analysis.</span>]</p>

The data in this research are grammatical cohesion marker in the form of pronoun in Arabic language and ideological translation in the 31-40 text of <em>hadith Arba’in</em> written by Ibnu Daqiq Al ‘ied and translated by Muhammad Thalib. In addition, there are five methods of dispelling the contradiction of a hadith namely, al-jam' wa al-taufi>q, al-tarji>h}, na>sikh-mansu>kh, tawaqquf, and takwil. And in determining the truth of science, correspondence theory is used in hadiths that use asba>b al-wuru>d as the source and theory of coherence used in hadiths that make ijtiha>di> (science) as the source.

<p>The hadith explanation book of Sahih al-Bukhari written by Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalani, Fath al-Bari, is one of the most pupular books in Moslem ummah. Is widely used by Moslem scholars to meet the meanings of hadiths compiled by the imam al-Bukhari in his Sahih al-Bukhari. Fath al-Bari is considered significant to do the research on it in order to develop the science of hadith, mainly through the hermeneutic method. By using this method, the research questions are: 1. How does Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalani explain the matans (hadith texts) of Sahih al Bukhari in connection with hermeneutic method? 2. What are the hermeneutic principles used by Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalani in his explanations of hadith? This research is expected to respond the research questions above so that it can be implimented the field of hadith in relation to develop hadith methodology. Finally, the research uncover that in his explanations of hadiths, Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalani is oriented his world views to the classical Islam, the era of Prophet’s companions and their successors, the Salaf al-Salih. He does not express the Islamic world issues available in his time in his explanations of the hadiths. He is considered a normative ‘ulama since he is not influenced by the emerging cases situated his time in Egypt, Mecca and Madina. He tends to be textual to explain the matans of hadiths although to some extent he uncovers the historical contexts of the hadiths he explains. This is common for a muhadith whose main jobs is to collect and narrate the whole data on Prophet's sayings, acts and permissions either on sanads (narrators) or matans (texts).</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Fath al-Bari; sharh al-hadith; hermeneutik.</p>

Understanding of Isbāl Hadiths in a Sociological PerspectiveThis study aims to further analyze the differences among Muslims in understanding the isbāl hadith focused on two questions. First, whether the isbāl prohibition contained in various pure hadiths is religious normativity or sociological reasons for particular interests. Second, how is the best way to understand the isbāl hadith prohibition. The study of this issue uses a sociological approach and thematic correlative methods. The study results found that the hadiths that prohibit isbāl are tasyri'iyyah hadith (legal /normative), but the law is not universal but conditional. It happens because the emergence of the hadiths prohibiting isbāl is inseparable from the sociological factor at that time, which was a form of rejection of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH against the jahiliyyah culture. The correlative study of the hadith found that 'illat prohibiting isbāl is khuyyala' (arrogance). The proper understanding of this hadith is a contextual understanding using the rules of ushul fiqh yadūrul ḥukmi ma'a al-'illah wujūdan wa'adaman (the application of the law is closely related to the presence or absence of 'illat). The prohibition isbāl aimed specially for people who do it because of their arrogance, not to people who do it without their arrogance

<div><p>The researched Hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW about Rajab fasting was a narrated hadith of Ibn ‘Abbas booked by Muslim. In hadith above, there were some narrators/rawi such as Abu Bakr Ibn Aby Shaybah, Abd Allah Ibn Numair, Uthman Ibn Hakim al Ansari, Sa’id Ibn Jubayr and Abd Allah Ibn ‘Abbas. In his partial analyses, there were some conclusions that: 1. All of narrators that involved in Hadith <em>sanad </em>were qualified: 2. <em>Thiqa, </em>All the narrators met with another narrators as the teachers: 3. And the hadith matan was free from <em>shadh </em>aspect: 4. The hadith matan was free from <em>illat</em>. So it can be concluded that narrated hadiths of Anas Ibn Malik which were collected by Muslim were qualified (<em>sahih</em>). In simultaneous analyzes, found that that hadith had 4 (four) <em>tabi’ qasir. </em>Because all of the narrators who were narrated by Muslim were <em>thiqah </em>qualified and the sanad connectivity was also <em>muttasil, </em>so the present of 4 <em>tabi’ ´</em>hadiths couldn’t improve the quality of main hadith <em>sanad </em>or <em>mutaba’ </em>that had been <em>sahih </em>in quality. Later on, simultaneously, that hadith had 4 (four) <em>shahid ma’nawi </em>hadiths. Those hadiths were narrated by 4 (four) different friends, as: Sa’id Ibn Sa’id, Anas Ibn Malik, ‘Abd Allah Ibn ‘Umar, and Abi Dharr. So the hadith of Rajab fasting had been narrated by 5 (five) friends. Thus, quantitatively, those hadiths improved to be <em>mashhur (ahad mashhur) </em>because they were narrated by five friends.</p></div><strong>Keywords</strong>:

This research tries to shed light on the extent of the interest of hadith scholars in the Arabic language, by presenting practical models that highlight some areas of the influence of the Arabic language in distinguishing between the accepted hadith from the refused. The study ended with an important conclusion: The need of the prophetic hadith for the Arabic language is no less than the need of the Arabic language for the prophetic hadith, as lack of knowledge in the Arabic language and the different connotations of its pronunciations may lead to an illusion of contradiction between some established and authentic hadiths which leads to challenging or questioning the authority of the Sunnah of Prophet or discrediting a trustworthy narrator, or modifying the wounded. Consequently, with ignorance of the Arabic language, authentic hadiths could become weak and non-existing Hadiths could become part of the sunnah of the Prophet

Abstract:
Peripheral areas such as Indonesia are in necessity to have more understanding of hadith content (matn) than on knowledge of hadith in its complexity. The long distance of knowledge dissemination, development and codification of hadith period in Indonesia, than in the Arabian Peninsula, caused many scholars to prioritize hadith studies in its understandable form, which is more practical, than in its theoretical one. Based on the study of hadith of maulid nabi (prophet’s birthday) in Indonesia, it strongly suggests that understanding and practicing hadith are more important than studying of hadith knowledge. Popular hadith of maulid consists of several hadiths and several comments (sharh}). Those hadiths are then compiled and summarized to be one simple sentence. This sentence is then considered as hadith, and people could be easily understand and memorize it. The same method is also applied in the writing and teaching of hadith books. This compilation and summary seem to be an inverted proof of isnâd-cum-matn, which argues that the transmission of hadith is an ongoing process of oral words along the times.

Taujih qiraat is a knowledge that discusses the meaning and justification in the Qur'anic variant reading (qiraat). Scholars of this field often refer to fundamental aspects in Arabic language such as grammar, phonology, morphology and semantic aspects in explaining the meaning and justification of the variation in Qur`anic reading. However, in certain circumstances some scholars also refer to hadith as a source in their explanation and description. Thus, this study discusses the role of hadith of the Prophet SAW in this field of knowledge, by making the book of Hujjah al-Qiraat written by Ibn Zanjalah as a study material. The study was conducted using content analysis methods, by performing an observation on the hadiths used in the Hujjah al-Qiraat, which were then analyzed descriptively to identify the role of these hadith in explaining the meaning and justification of the variation in Qur`anic reading. Among the important findings of this study is; the role of hadith in this knowledge is seen from three aspects, namely it describes the meaning of a qiraat, strengthens the existence of a qiraat directly and also strengthens the existence of a qiraat indirectly. The study also found that the role of hadith is relatively small, compared to the number of Qur`anic words that recited with various readings, and some of the hadiths were not found in the major hadith books, but most of these hadiths are supported with other hadiths as a syawahid (auxiliary).

<p>The studies of hadith and scientific reseaches in Indonesia found the momentum around the end of the 20th century. One of the figure whose enough concern on this field is Hasbie Ash-Shiddieqy. Some of Hasbie’s thoughts in the hadith field which is become point of view in this article include: First, his view on the substance of the hadith and <em>Sunnah</em> and its periodization. Secondly, the criteria of hadith’s validity. Third, the research and the maintenance of <em>h</em><em>adîth</em>. Fourth, the methodology of understanding the hadith (<em>sharh</em><em> al-h</em><em>adîth</em>). Hasbi thought that the hadith are all events that leaning to the Prophet Muh}ammad, although it happened only once in the lifetime of the Prophet, and although only narrated by a narrator. Then Sunnah is the actions of the Prophet Muh}ammad that <em>mutawâtir</em>. Validity of hadith in Hasbi’s point of view must include of two criteria, that is the validity (<em>s</em><em>ah</em><em>îh</em>) of <em>sanad</em> and <em>matn</em> of hadith. Hasbi seems to emphasize a study of the hadiths that the quality is not clearly by applying the criteria of validity of the hadith and the theory of <em>nâsikh wa mansûkh</em>.</p>

Hadith narrated by way of al-tafarrud means a hadith which is narrated solely by one narrator, devoid of any other hadiths to substantiate the ealier hadith, thus indicating that there does not exist a hadith narrated carrying similar meaning. In other words, hadith of al-tafarrud narration has no corroborative hadith in the form of al-mutaba‘at which means common narration by one narrator to the other. However there are a number of hadiths of this kind deemed by some hadith scholars as al-tafarrud while there are other scholars who opine to the contrary by which they believe that there exist al-mutaba‘at in the particular hadith in question. As such, this article aims to analyze the factors that lead to this phenomenon. This study is wholly qualitative involving data collection through library research. The data are analyzed based on inductive methods. The findings of this study show that there are three factors that contribute to this phenomenon. One of which is the status of the narrator when he attempts to narrate al-mutaba‘ah hadith whereby his status stands at weak mark that renders his narrated hadith incapable of authority.
