Abstract:
The present study examined the early profiles of students who were screened for learning difficulties with search (Silver & Hagin, 1981), an early identification measure, and were found to be adequate or inadequate readers at the end of second grade. In order to gain insight into the problem of inaccurate classifications of atrisk status at kindergarten, this study investigated students' performance on cognitive measures and behavior problems, as well as socioeconomic background and teacher predictions of learning difficulties. Our results indicated that search tends to underidentify as not at risk some children from higher socioeconomic backgrounds and to over-identify as at risk children from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Information from classroom teachers and individually administered assessment tools is necessary and useful in the process of identifying those young children who are truly at risk and in need of early intervention services.

Abstract:
AbstractEssek William Kenyon (1867-1948) is a figure not readily identified by students of American religious history, and yet his influence on the twentieth-century religious history (particularly its Pentecostal and Charismatic expressions) is profound....Although Kenyon himself was never a Pentecostal, his influence on this segment of Christendom is extensive. Indeed, the earliest and most profound split among Pentecostals came as the result of William Durham's sermons on "the Finished Work of Christ"teachings that he apparently had received from Kenyon....Kenyon's writings have been widely plagiarized, thus spreading his teachings, if not his name, to millions worldwide. This last trend is especially evident in the independent Charismatic movement (led by Kenneth E. Hagin), whose entire doctrinal framework has been lifted from Kenyon without acknowledgement. Through its virtual domination of the electronic church and the thousands of graduates of its Bible training schools, the independent Charismatic movement has helped to spread Kenyon's influence on an ever-widening scale.

Abstract:

Abstract:
AbstractThe hermeneutical method of tracing the 'history of effects', pioneered by Ulrich Luz, has recently been appreciated by Pentecostal biblical scholars as holding much promise for moving beyond notions of 'flat text' to recog nize the word of God moving in and through life. As a case study in this method, this paper examines the interpretations of 3 Jn 2 as they surface in the works of Tertullian, Augustine, Bede, Le Maistre De Sacy, Ambrosius Catharinus, John Bird Sumner, Albert Barnes, Carrie Judd Montgomery, Oral Roberts, Kenneth Hagin, Raymond Brown, Frederick Price, and Paul Yonggi Cho. After discussing each interpretation in relation to the life of its interpreter, the results are assessed in relation to a Pentecostal approach to Scripture. The history of the effects of 3 Jn 2 will remind academicians and the community of faith alike that the Bible is truly a living revelation.Beloved, concerning all thingsI wish you to prosper and be in health,Even as your soul prospers (author's own translation of 3 Jn 2).

Abstract:
The Hunger Games is one of Hollywood films that contains deaths and deadly scenes throughout its trilogy. There are plenteous meanings of deaths that can be analyzed from the films, which will develop new meanings and definitions of deaths as an interesting topic to discuss. The researcher employed Boaz Hagin's framework of death because Hagin provides a framework about deaths and how deaths can be meaningful. In his book, he writes a broader range of philosophical description about deaths in Classical Hollywood Cinema which explores the morality and ethical values of mainstream films that portrays death as a meaningful part of life. The research problem is what is the meaning of deaths found in Hunger Games using Hagin’s framework of deaths. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach aiming at describing the phenomenon and characteristics. The data collected qualitatively by examining them throughout to get relevant issues and ideas and classify them. The findings show that death can bring meanings to characters in the films, such as a death in line where death means as a savior for their beloved ones, death as politic seen from the characters' past life that brings hope for the future, death as the Access, Authority, and Test, can be seen from how the characters use their talent to survive.

Abstract:
Abstract Background There are few studies of histologic acute graft pyelonephritis (HAGPN) following kidney transplant (KT). The goals of this study are to determine incidence, identify potential risk factors and describe outcomes of HAGPN in a large cohort of KT recipients. Methods Renal allograft biopsies of all patients undergoing first KT at our medical center between 2008 and 2017 were reviewed. HAGPN was defined as the presence of neutrophils within the interstitium and tubules (casts). Medical charts of patients with HAGPN were reviewed. Episodes of bacteriuria (≥10:5 cfu/mL growth in culture) were classified as urinary tract infection (UTI) or asymptomatic bacteruria (ASB) based upon documented symptoms. An episode of acute rejection was defined as pulse parenteral immunosuppressive therapy for histologic evidence of rejection. Results HAGPN was identified in 43 of 1,391 (3.1%) KT recipients at a median of 298 days post-transplant. There were no significant differences between recipient age or gender, donor age or transplant type (deceased, living related, living unrelated) between recipients with and without HAGPN. Urologic malformation was diagnosed in 14 (33%) by day 30 post-transplant. Twenty-five (58%), 17 (40%), and 13 (30%) sustained one or more episodes of acute rejection, UTI and ASB, respectively, prior to HAGPN. At diagnosis of HAGPN, 28 (65%), 7 (16%), and 16 (37%) had histologic evidence of rejection, UTI and ASB, respectively. Twenty-two (51%) and 37 (86%) were treated with pulse immunosuppression and antibiotics, respectively. Median nadir serum creatinine before HAGPN was 1.1 mg/day while median serum creatinine at 6 and 12 months after HAGPN were 1.5 and 1.6. Three patients (7%) developed graft failure within 1 year after HAGPN. Conclusion HAGPN is an infrequent complication of KT. A majority of patients with HAGPN have histologic evidence of rejection and either UTI or ASB at diagnosis, though over 40% have neither UTI nor ASB. When rejection accompanying HAGPN is routinely treated with pulse immunosuppression and antibiotic therapy is administered, graft function is preserved for most patients but a minority (7%) loses graft function within 1 year. Potential risk factors to be assessed in further study include post-transplant urologic dysfunction, acute rejection and UTI. Disclosures All authors: No reported disclosures.

Abstract:
This study presents Hagen number vs. Bejan number. Although their physical meaning is not the same because the former represents the dimensionless pressure gradient while the latter represents the dimensionless pressure drop, it will be shown that Hagen number coincides with Bejan number in cases where the characteristic length (l) is equal to the flow length (L). Also, a new expression of Bejan number in the Hagen-Poiseuille flow will be introduced. At the end, extending the Hagen number to a general form will be presented. For the case of Reynolds analogy (Pr = Sc = 1), all these three definitions of Hagen number will be the same.

Abstract Background Histologic acute graft pyelonephritis (HAGPN) is a complication of kidney transplantation (KT) diagnosed serendipitously by renal biopsy. A retrospective review of 1391 patients who underwent KT at our institution between 2008 and 2017 identified 46 cases (cumulative incidence 5%). Rejection was present in 50% of biopsies demonstrating HAGPN, complicating management. The aims of this study were to identify risk factors and outcomes of HAGPN. Methods Recipient, donor, operative and post-transplant characteristics of 46 cases of HAGPN and 138 controls randomly selected from the 1345 patients who underwent KT between 2008 and 2017 were assessed in univariable and multivariable Cox regression models. Associations of HAGPN with death or graft failure were assessed in univariable models. Results In univariable analysis, characteristics associated with increased risk of HAGPN in order of decreasing hazard ratio (HR) were rejection (HR 10.82, 5.66-20.72), urinary tract infections (UTI) or asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) (HR 6.28, 3.43-11.50), urologic malfunction (UM) within 30 days of KT, (HR 5.34, 2.85-10.02), less than 4 matches at HLA A/B/DR loci (HR 3.74, 1.19-11.76), delayed graft function (DGF) (HR 2.1, 1.47-3.00), basiliximab induction (HR 1.59, 1.05-2.42), diabetes mellitus (DM) at KT (HR 1.52, 1.07-2.16), operative time (HR 1.11, 1.03-1.19) and cold ischemic time (CIT) (HR 1.05, 1.02-1.06). UM, rejection and UTI or ASB were the most significant risk factors based on clinical and statistical importance, and after adjusting for them, DM, transplant type, CIT, ureteral stent placement and DGF remained significant risk factors. In univariable analysis, ureteral stent placement at transplant (HR 0.60, 0.43-0.88) and living-related donor (HR 0.18, 0.04-0.78) were each associated with reduced risk of HAGPN which persisted after multivariable analysis. In univariable analysis, HAGPN was associated with death (HR 17.04, 7.93-39.31) and graft failure (HR 3.77, 1.73, 8.20). Conclusion HAGPN is an infrequent, unanticipated, clinically significant complication of renal transplantation. Post-transplant dysfunction of the allograft collection system may be a modifiable risk factor. Disclosures All Authors: No reported disclosures

Abstract:
Historic decision to return to Hagia Sophia the status of a mosque once again proved that its history cycle has reached a new stage: from Byzantine temple — to the Ottoman mosque — through the UNESCO World Heritage Site — to the great Hagia Sophia mosque. In case of studying the historical dynamics of status, cultural significance and social functions of Hagia Sophia, the integral macrosociological theory of P.A. Sorokin is the most relevant and has got sufficient heuristic potential. The history of Hagia Sophia has been influenced and is still being affected by rhythmic sequence of three super-systems: ideational, idealistic and sensual. It's on the one hand. On the other hand, Hagia Sophia is not only an architectural object, which in its historical dynamics has passed a difficult way from a Christian temple to a mosque, but above all — one of the main means for expressing the set of values of the ideational cultural supersystem.

Abstract:
Less than 30% of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) patients are currently diagnosed, due to laboratory constraints. Molecular diagnostics enable rapid and simplified diagnosis. Newer-version line probe assays have not been evaluated against the WHO-endorsed Hain GenoType MTBDRplus(referred to as Hain version 1 [V1]) for the rapid detection of rifampin (RIF) and isoniazid (INH) resistance. A two-phase noninferiority study was conducted in two supranational reference laboratories to allow head-to-head comparisons of two new tests, Hain Genotype MTBDRplusversion 2 (referred to as Hain version 2 [V2]) and Nipro NTM+MDRTB detection kit 2 (referred to as Nipro), to Hain V1. In phase 1, the results for 379 test strains were compared to a composite reference standard that used phenotypic drug susceptibility testing (DST) and targeted sequencing. In phase 2, the results for 644 sputum samples were compared to a phenotypic DST reference standard alone. Using a challenging set of strains in phase 1, the values for sensitivity and specificity for Hain V1, Hain V2, and Nipro, respectively, were 90.3%/98.5%, 90.3%/98.5%, and 92.0%/98.5% for RIF resistance detection and 89.1%/99.4%, 89.1%/99.4%, and 89.6%/100.0% for INH resistance detection. Testing of sputa in phase 2 yielded values for sensitivity and specificity of 97.1%/97.1%, 98.2%/97.8%, and 96.5%/97.5% for RIF and 94.4%/96.4%, 95.4%/98.8%, and 94.9%/97.6% for INH. Overall, the rates of indeterminate results were low, but there was a higher rate of indeterminate results with Nipro than with Hain V1 and V2 in samples with low smear grades. Noninferiority of Hain V2 and Nipro to Hain V1 was demonstrated for RIF and INH resistance detection in isolates and sputum specimens. These results serve as evidence for WHO policy recommendations on the use of line probe assays, including the Hain V2 and Nipro assays, for MDR-TB detection.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the discourse on changing the status of Hagia Sophia Museum (The Church of Hagia Sophia) in Istanbul. The research is based on a wide range of sources, including offi cial documents of international, public and religious organizations. The article presents the main participants’ positions in the discussion, refl ecting diff erent approaches to evaluating the transformation of Hagia Sophia Museum into a mosque. The author concludes that the important step towards a constructive dialogue is to seek opportunities for involving representatives of the world and international religious communities in the work of collegial platforms operating within the country. In the future, such initiatives will help to provide a wide and open fi eld for discussion of the actual existence and further development of Hagia Sophia in the new conditions.

Abstract:
Phytophthora sojae is a significant pathogen of soybean worldwide. Pathotype surveys for Phytophthora sojae are conducted to monitor resistance gene efficacy and determine if new resistance genes are needed. Valuable measurements for pathotype analysis include the distribution of susceptible reactions, pathotype complexity, pathotype frequency, and diversity indices for pathotype distributions. Previously the Habgood-Gilmour Spreadsheet (HaGiS), written in Microsoft Excel, was used for data analysis. However, the growing popularity of the R programming language in plant pathology and desire for reproducible research made HaGiS a prime candidate for conversion into an R package. Here we report on the development and use of an R package, hagis, that can be used to produce all outputs from the HaGiS Excel sheet for P. sojae or other gene-for-gene pathosystem studies.

Abstract:
For a connected labeled graph [Formula: see text], a spanning tree [Formula: see text] is a connected and acyclic subgraph that spans all vertices of [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we consider a classical combinatorial problem which is to list all spanning trees of [Formula: see text]. A Halin graph is a graph obtained from a tree with no degree two vertices and by joining all leaves with a cycle. We present a sequential and parallel algorithm to enumerate all spanning trees in Halin graphs. Our approach enumerates without repetitions and we make use of [Formula: see text] processors for parallel algorithmics, where [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are the depth, the number of leaves, respectively, of the Halin graph. We also prove that the number of spanning trees in Halin graphs is [Formula: see text].
