Abstract:
The aim of this project was the evaluation of performance of beach handball players. Beach handball is considered a high-intensity mixed-metabolism sport where the performance depends on the combination of high-intensity physical patterns at player and team level. The player performances depend on specific movements involving speed and power, rapid accelerations and decelerations, and changes of directions, whereas the overall team performance depends on technical and tactical team performance indicators, such as passing, catching, throwing, and blocking during offensive and defensive situations. The first part of this dissertation aimed to examine the differences between male and female players during shooting actions occurring during semifinal and final phases of a European Beach Handball Tournament by means of notational analysis. For the study 9 matches were analyzed. Overall, 559 (males: 353; females: 206) shots were observed; 54.7±9.4% were successful and 19.9±7.1% were saved by goalkeepers. No difference for gender emerged. Results showed that notational analysis represents a valuable tool to examine many aspects of shooting actions such as the shooting technique, the shooting area, the area of the goal to which the shots end in relation to players and goalkeepers’ efficiencies. To improve players’ performances and to understand the level of adaptation to a given training program and minimizing the risk of non-functional overreaching, monitoring players’ load plays a fundamental role. For this purpose, the second part of this dissertation focused on the investigation of internal (assessed using objective and subjective methods) and external loads experienced by youth male beach handball players during training sessions and competitions. Thirteen players from the Lithuanian U17 beach handball team were monitored across 2 training camps (14 training sessions) and during the Younger Age Category 17 European Beach Handball tournament where players were involved in 7 matches. For the external load inertial movement units devices units were used while the internal load was objectively recorded by means of heart rate (HR) monitors. After each session, the HR data were exported, and the individual workload was calculated according to the summated HR zones (SHRZ) method. Furthermore, the internal load was subjectively assessed by means of Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) scale by asking each player “How hard was your training/Match?” 30 min after the completion of the session. Successively, the session RPE (sRPE) workload was calculated by multiplying the individual RPE score for the duration of each session. Subjective perception of internal load experienced by youth beach handball players increases with the objective internal load. However, the increase varies between players and sessions. In addition, results showed that external load variables (PlayerLoadTM, accelerations, low intensity events, medium intensity events, high intensity events, jumps, and changes of directions) showed a strong correlation with sRPE and SHRZ. The variable with the highest relationship and predictive capability, with both SHRZ and sRPE, was PlayerLoadTM. Further investigation should examine any potential difference in players of different ages and explore the influence of other contextual factors such as the match outcome or the individual players’ fatigue.

Abstract:
Network analysis is used in a number of different fields to study systems ranging from molecular interactions to social interactions between humans. With the increase of available data, it is not surprising that network analysis methods are now used to analyze human behavior and interactions in sports. Handball is a popular sport in Europe, and while it has been studied, it has not been studied with network methods. In this work, passing data was collected from two international competitions to study the passing behavior of the Norwegian women’s handball team. The data were divided into multiple scenarios to try to explore how the team’s and individual players' playing styles depended on whether the team was leading, trailing, or scoring goals. Star players were also compared with their replacements to see if there was any statistical evidence available as to why the star players may be unique. We found differences between the star players and their replacements, some differences between the team’s passing behavior when leading and trailing and when scoring goals, and that the team appears to have a specific prescribed playing style for each position.

Abstract:
Penalty-taking performance in handball within a self-regulatory focus framework was examined. In a two-independent group design, regulatory framings (either promotion or prevention) were given to participants (N = 25) prior to penalty-taking. More precisely, Swedish male (n = 15) and female (n = 10) players of the third male and second female Swedish Leagues were randomly allocated to shoot three penalties each under either a promotion-framed (n = 13; Mage = 20.77, SD = 3.77 years) or a prevention-framed (n = 12; Mage = 19.25, SD = 2.09 years) condition. Positive and negative affect were measured to assess pre-performance emotional states. Findings showed that promotion–focused individuals performed better in a promotion– framed penalty (i.e. fit) than in a prevention–framed (i.e. mismatch). Moreover, when in regulatory fit, pre-performance positive emotions were reported to be greater than when in mismatch. Findings are discussed in terms of role of fit and emotional states in pressureperformance critical situations.
Straffläggnings prestation i handboll inom ett själv-regulatoriskt fokus-ramverk undersöktes. I en två-oberoende grupps design, regulatorisk inramning (antingen promotion eller prevention) gavs till deltagarna (N = 25) innan straffläggning. Mer exakt, svenska manliga (n = 15) och kvinnliga (n = 10) spelare från den manliga tredje och kvinnliga andra svenska divisionen var slumpmässigt tilldelade att skjuta tre straffar under antingen en promotion-inramad (n = 13; Målder = 20.77, SD = 3.77 år) eller prevention-inramad (n = 12; Målder = 19.25, SD = 2.09 år) straffsituation. Mätningar av positiva och negativa affekter bedömde pre-prestation emotionella tillstånd. Resultaten visade att promotions-fokuserade individer presterade bättre i en promotion-inramning straffsituation (fit) än i en prevention-inramning straffsituation (mismatch). Dessutom när i regulatoriskt-fit, rapporterades positiva emotioner högre än i mismatch. Resultaten är diskuterade i förhållande till rollen av fit och emotionella tillstånd i prestation-under-press kritiska situationer

Abstract:
The purpose of the present study was to (1) examine throughout the season dynamics of the handball team's performance and related factors (i.e. emphasizing leadership, emotions and concentration) as perceived by the coach and the captain. The analysis was used to motivate the emotions being studied in objective two (2) examine the handball team during successful and less successful games in terms of the dynamics of the players’ emotions, concentration and performance between two halves of the game and after time-outs. Informants for objective 1, was the team coach and the team captain. Objective 2 of the study consisted of 15 women all playing in the same team. The study includes longitudinal data over a ten game period containing five successful and five less successful games. Data was collected after games using the ECPP(H) developed by Olausson and Vallmark-Jansson (2013). In-depth narrative interviews were used. Three analyses were made: (1) sjuzet- fabula, (2) holistic- content and (3) categorical-content analysis. Poetic representation was used to present parts of the results. The results showed shifts in the dynamics of performance, possible explanation to the shift of dynamics of emotions, concentration and performance and different types of leadership styles demonstrated throughout the season. Furthermore, similarities and diversities were found between the coach and captain’s perceptions of the season in focus. Finally, practical team-specific applications are suggested, such as working with emotional control in order to help the team enhance their performance.
Syftet med föreliggande studie var att (1) undersöka dynamiken av ett lags prestation och relaterade faktorer (med betoning på ledarskap, emotioner och koncentration) under en säsong ur lagets coach och lagkaptens perspektiv. Analysen användes för att motivera emotionerna studerade i syfte 2 att (2) undersöka dynamiken av spelarnas emotioner, koncentration och prestation mellan halvlekar i en match och efter time-out. Informanter i syfte 1 var lagets coach och lagkapten. Deltagare i syfte 2 bestod av 15 kvinnor, alla spelare i samma elit handbollslag. Studien innehåller longitudinell data insamlad under en period av tio matcher, bestående av fem framgångsrika och fem mindre framgångsrika matcher. Datainsamling genomfördes efter matcher med hjälp av instrumentet ECPP(H) framtaget i Olausson och Vallmark-Jansson’s (2013) studie. Djupgående narrativa intervjuer användes. Tre analyser användes (1) sjuzet-fabula, (2) holistisk innehållsanalys och (3) kategorisk innehållsanalys. Poetisk representation användes för att presenterar delar av resultatet. Resultatet visade förändringar i prestations dynamik, möjliga förklaring till dynamiken inom specifika emotioner och koncentration samt olika typer av ledarskapsstilar. Vidare uppvisade resultaten både likheter och olikheter mellan coachen och kaptenens uppfattningar av avslutad säsong. Avslutningsvis föreslås flera lagspecifika praktiska applikationer, som att arbeta med emotionell kontroll i syfte att hjälpa lagets prestation.

Une première étude a mis en évidence les spécificités du tir au handball par rapport aux autres tirs à bras cassé. Pour cela, les analyses cinématiques et dynamiques de ce geste ont été effectuées sur trois groupes de sujets de niveau différent. Le tir au handball se caractérise par une rotation externe de l'humérus peu prononcée, une adduction horizontale du bras précoce et une succession des pics de vitesse linéaire du bras tireur particulière. Une seconde étude a décelé les liens existant entre les paramètres de la performance et les paramètres biomécaniques du mouvement. Il ressort alors deux formes de tir sensiblement différentes. Les sujets possédant les plus faibles vitesses de balle se caractérise par une rotation externe de l'humérus plus prononcée mais moins efficace. Ceci est dû à une différence de mécanisme utilisé pour provoquer cette rotation. Chez ces sujets, seule l'adduction horizontale du bras est employée. Enfin, la simulation cinématique du tir au handball, rendue possible grâce à la modélisation issue de l'analyse cinématique, a été effectuée. Cette simulation cinématique a par la suite été intégrée dans d'autres études relatives au handball
A first study gives handball throwing specificities with regards to other overarm throwings. For this, the kinematic and the dynamic analyses of three groups of handball throwers from different level have been driven. During handball throwing, the humeral external rotation is lower, the horizontal adduction of the arm is earlier and its linear velocity are singular. A second study gives the links between the performance parameters and the biomechanical parameters of the movement. Two different kinds of throw appear. The subjects who have the lower ball velocities have a greater humeral rotation but less efficient. This is due to a different mechanism used to induce this rotation. For this subjects, the horizontal adduction is principally used. The kinematic simulation of handball throwing has been made thanks to the modelling obtained by the kinematic analysis of handball throwing. This kinematic simulation has been used for other studies equally relative to handball

En introduisant l'idée d'une inévitable insertion des conduites du joueur dans ce qu'on appelle une symbolique sociale, il s'agit de promouvoir la recherche d'une détermination des conduites de jeu qui n'est pas l'expression d'un dynamisme motivationnel, et qui ne trouve pas un ancrage dans les propriétés intrinsèques de la situation. On se réfère a une psychologie sociale cognitive récente qui tente de préciser le concept de cognition sociale en montrant les restrictions qu'il convient de faire a l'endroit du postulat de l'homme processeur d'information il s'agit alors pour le joueur de repérer la valeur sociale de la situation de jeu et de traiter avant tout son utilité sociale. Dans cette perspective, l'interaction tactique devient un espace social, non pas seulement parce qu'elle implique la présence d'autrui, mais parce qu'elle peut aussi se définir comme un espace de comparaison et de singularisation sociales ou des enjeux identitaires se substitueraient aux enjeux stratégiques. C'est donc à partir de cette acception d'un joueur acteur social ancre dans une situation sociale singulière, datée et située, que peut également se mettre en place une étude des conduites de jeu. Cet engagement socio-cognitiviste nous conduit à montrer qu'en spécifiant la relation tactique du joueur a la situation de jeu, le manager transforme également le sens de l'interaction tactique. Le comportement du joueur révèle alors la représentation qu'il se fait de ce que la conduite du manager met en cause dans cet espace social. La conduite de jeu réfracte alors un enjeu identitaire ou il est plus question de stratégies de reconnaissance sociale et de singularisation que de réponses tactiques rationnelles a la situation de jeu

Abstract:

Syftet var att undersöka handbollsspelares generella efficacy, individuella - och kollektiva efficacy inom handbollssituationer samt nivån av utövandet. Studien bestod av två delar. Den första var kvantitativ med två frågeformulär; Schwarzers och Jerusalems Generell Self-Efficacy Scale samt Chase, Feltz och Lirggs Team Efficacy Questionnaire. Två lag från elitnivå (n=36) och två från lägre nivå (n=37) representerades. Resultatet visade att handbollsspelare på högre nivå har en högre grad av self-efficacy och kollektivt efficacy än de på lägre nivån. Den kvalitativa delen bestod av fyra intervjuer, två från varje nivå. Resultatet indikerade till särdrag mellan grupperna, gällande vad self-efficacy och kollektivt efficacy baserades på. Fortsatt forskning kring området är väsentligt för att öka förståelsen för spelares och ledares handlingar, därav kunna höja prestationen.


The purpose was to examine handballsplayers general efficacy, self-efficacy, collective efficacy and two levels within the sport. The study had two parts. Part one had a quantitative approach with two questionnaires; General Self-efficacy Scale (Schwarzer & Jerusalem, 1995) and Team Efficacy Questionnaire (Chase, Feltz & Lirgg, 2003). Two teams of the highest (n= 36) and two teams of a lower (n= 37) level were represented. The result showed that the athletes in the higher level had higher Self-Efficacy and Collective Efficacy. Part two was qualitative and contained four interviews. The result indicated that there was a difference between the two levels within the sport. Continued research is important to increase the comprehension in this area, and there for increase the athletes’ performances.

Abstract:
Background: The need to find the underlying causes to handball injuries and to develop injury prevention programs is great. In other sports a relationship between maximal oxygen uptake (VO2 max) and injury have been seen. Purpose: To examine the relationship between VO2 max and/or lactate threshold and injuries in elite handball players. Methods: A prospective, non experimental correlational study was conducted. Thirty elite handball players and handball high school players were included. Injuries and test results for VO2-max, lactate threshold and potential confounders ( re-injury of the previous injury, re- injury of previous injury of the lower limb, age, BMI and legs and core strength for the high school players) were registered during the season 2014-2015. A bivariate analysis using Spearman's rank correlation calculation was conducted. Twenty-six respectively 11 of the players had data on VO2-max, respectively lactate threshold. Confounders that showed connection with injuries or injuries in the lower extremity were analyzed for the bivariate correlation with VO2-max and lactate threshold. Results: No significant correlation was found between VO2-max respectively lactate threshold and injury. Significant correlations were seen between previous injury respectively previous injury to the lower extremity and to get a re-injury. A significant correlation were seen between re-injury of a previous injury in the lower limb and VO2-max. Conclusions: Significant associations were seen between re- injury of earlier injury and between re-injury of the lower extremity and VO2-max and should therefore be considered in the clinical practice. Larger studies are needed to clarify the relationship between VO2-max and lactate threshold and injuries.
Bakgrund: Behovet att hitta bakomliggande orsaker till handbollsskador för att kunna utforma skadepreventiva åtgärder är stort. I andra idrotter har ett samband mellan maximal syreupptagningsförmåga (VO2-max) och skador kunnat ses. Syfte: Att undersöka samband mellan VO2-max och/eller laktattröskelvärde och skador hos elithandbollspelare. Metod: En prospektiv icke experimentell sambandsstudie utfördes. Trettio elithandbollsspelare och handbollsgymnasiespelare inkluderades. Skador och testresultat för VO2-max och laktattröskel samt tänkbara konfounders (återskada av tidigare generell skada, återskada av tidigare skada i nedre extremitet, ålder, BMI och ben och bålstyrka för gymnasiespelarna) registrerades under matchsäsongen 2014-2015. En bivariat analys med Spearmans rangkorrelationsberäkning utfördes. Tjugosex respektive 11 av spelarna hade data på VO2-max respektive laktattröskelvärde. Konfounders som visade samband med generella skador eller skador i nedre extremiteten analyserades bivariat för samband med VO2-max och laktattröskelvärde. Resultat: Inga signifikanta samband fanns mellan VO2-max respektive laktattröskelvärde och skador. Signifikanta samband fanns för tidigare generella skador respektive tidigare skada i nedre extremiteten och att återfå densamma samt mellan återskada av tidigare skada i nedre extremiteten och VO2-max. Konklusion: Signifikanta samband fanns för återskada av tidigare skada samt mellan återskada i nedre extremiteten och VO2-max vilket bör beaktas i den kliniska vardagen. Större studier behövs för att klargöra det sambandet mellan VO2-max respektive laktattröskel och skador.

Abstract:
Le but de cette thèse était de mesurer l’impact du poste sur la détection, l’entrainement et la sélection des joueurs de handball de haut-niveau. Les études 1 et 2 avaient comme cadre la détection des joueurs. L’objet de l’étude 1 était de mesurer l’amplitude des différences entre les performances physiques, les dimensions corporelles et la maturité selon les postes de jeu et la latéralité de jeunes joueurs. Les résultats ont montré que les profils de chaque poste étaient importants pour orienter les joueurs vers le (les) postes dans l’optique de la pratique du handball de haut-niveau et qu’il fallait tenir compte de la latéralité des joueurs. La seconde étude avait pour but de savoir si des différences de tailles et de poids existaient entre les postes et les niveaux de jeu en utilisant une large population de joueurs de haut-niveau. Nos résultats ont montré qu’il y avait de la place pour les joueurs avec des profils atypiques dans le handball de haut-niveau mais que les différences entre chaque poste étaient importantes. Les études 3 et 4 concernaient la formation des joueurs. La troisième étude, une revue de littérature, constituait une analyse complète des demandes techniques et des exigences physiques pour la pratique du handball masculin de haut-niveau. Au vu de ces résultats, il apparaît que le poste de jeu devait être systématiquement pris en compte dans l’analyse de l’activité et que l’entrainement devait être spécifique aux postes. Le but de la quatrième étude était de simuler les effets d’une altération de détente verticale pour des ailiers sur leur réussite au tir selon 3 modalités différentes : sans aucune contrainte (condition contrôle), en prenant appui sur une marche de 20 cm et avec un gilet lesté de 5% du poids de leur corps. Les résultats suggéraient qu’une augmentation immédiate du temps de vol des ailiers ne se traduisait pas par une amélioration substantielle de l’efficacité au tir. Par ailleurs, l’effet du temps de vol sur cette efficacité était variable selon les postes. Le dernier article de la thèse, sur la sélection des joueurs, devait déterminer si le trimestre ou le semestre de naissance dans une catégorie d’âge de 2 ans influençait la sélection des handballeurs de haut-niveau ainsi que leur temps de jeu, tout en considérant les postes et la latéralité des joueurs. Les conclusions montraient qu’il faut tenir compte des postes dans l’analyse des effets de l’âge relatif. Le poste de jeu au handball à des conséquences sur les exigences locomotrices et physiologiques, sur les profils anthropométriques et locomoteurs mais aussi sur l’entrainement et la sélection des joueurs. C’est ainsi un paramètre (parfois sous-estimé) qu’il faut absolument prendre en compte dans le handball de haut-niveau
The objective of this thesis was to assess the impact of playing position on detection, training and selection in male elite handball. Studies 1 and 2 investigated talent identification. The purpose of this first study was to measure the magnitude of the differences in physical performance, body dimensions and maturity with regards of the playing position and laterality in young selected players. Physical and anthropometrical profiles were important to guide players to the playing-positions where they could make the elite level and that it is important to consider the laterality of the players. The objective of the second study was to determine if differences in body dimensions exist between playing positions and playing standards, using a large population of elite players. The large amplitudes in body dimensions for each playing position showed that there are some opportunities for players with atypical morphology in elite handball, but that the differences between each position are important. The fourth and fifth articles aimed on training with regards of playing position. The fourth study, a literature review, provided a comprehensive analysis of technical and physical demands of male elite handball. It appears that playing position should be systematically taken into account in game analysis. The purpose of the fourth study was to measure the effects of 3 different modalities on the flight time during shoot from the wing position and on their scoring percentage. Three different modalities was applied any constraint (control condition), build on 20 cm step and with a weighted vest corresponding to 5% of their body weight. These results suggested that increasing flying time of wing player did not result in a substantial improvement in the scoring percentage. Furthermore, the effect of the flying time on the scoring percentage is playing-position dependent. With the latest study we tried to determine whether trimester or semester of birth in a 2 years category influenced the selection of elite handball players and their playing time with regard of the playing position. Results suggested that it was paramount to consider playing positions in analyzing the effects of relative age. In handball, playing positions affect locomotor and physiological demands, anthropometric and physical profile but also the training and the selection of the players. In overall, playing position is a parameter (sometimes underestimated) that must absolutely take into account in elite handball

The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of muscle fatigue on shooting accuracy in male handball players. Sixteen elite young male handball players (age: 17.12±

11.07) volunteered to participate in the study. The study composed of laboratory and field test sessions. In the laboratory test, maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max) obtained from treadmill running test, blood lactate concentration, heart rate monitoring at resting and every 3 minutes during running were measured. Running speed equal to 75% speed at VO2max values of participants was used as initial velocity for 30-15 intermittent fitness test (30-15IFT). In the field tests, after determined the optimum shooting velocity of each participant, they shots to each targets placed at the four corner of the handball goal 4 times, totally 16 times. Blood lactate concentration was measured from the earlobe of participant who completed shooting to target test session. Then, 30-15IFT was applied as fatigue protocol and at the end of the test, blood lactate concentration was measured again and participant repeated shooting to target test session immediately after fatigue protocol. During all shooting procedures, acceleration of wrist and speed of ball were recorded. Blood lactate concentration over 8mmol/L, v 90% of HRmax, respiratory exchange ratio>
1 and exhaustion of participant accepted ending criteria for the tests. As a result, no significant differences were found between pre-fatigue and post-fatigue protocols in terms of accurate and inaccurate shots. Shooting consistency, ball speed, response time, X, Y, Z axis of wrist acceleration variables highly correlated each other in terms of shooting accuracy both in pre and post fatigue conditions. Shooting consistency has an effect on accurate shots. Ball velocity has effect on inaccurate shots in pre-fatigue condition. However, none of variable has effect on accurate and inaccurate shots in post-fatigue conditions. In pre-fatigue conditions, right to left motion of wrist (X axis) was the most important motion, back to forward motion (y axis) was became more important in post fatigue condition.

Athletic training is multidimensional, specific, complex and versatile process (Smith, 2003; Issurin, 2008; Gamble, 2010) long-term and developing athlete’s physical capacities and improving mental qualities, comprehensively developing personality, determining its actions, behaviour, self-sufficiency and responsibility, as well as motivating to achieve impressive results. A team is a complex integrated dynamic system (Glazier, 2010; Dutt-Mazumder et al., 2011), which management is very complex due to many determinant factors. In most cases, only the issues of the one side of the athlete training are being discussed. Thus, the possibility to determine the interaction between the athlete’s training and athlete’s sport performance is reduced. It is being constantly researched for new ways to find the most significant, influential training indicators, which would allow controlling athletes’ fitness to be able to achieve the best results in the most important competitions (Busso, 2003; Mujika et al., 2004; Reilly, 2001; Gamble, 2006; Hughes, Franks, 2006). Sportininkų rengimas yra daugiametis, daugialypis, specifinis, sudėtingas ir įvairiapusis procesas (Smith, 2003; Issurin, 2008; Gamble, 2010), kuris ugdo sportininko judamuosius gebėjimus, tobulina psichines savybes, visapusiškai lavina asmenybę, lemia jos veiklą, elgesį, savarankiškumą ir atsakingumą, skatina siekti puikių rezultatų. Komanda yra sudėtinga kompleksinė dinaminė sistema, kurią valdyti yra labai sudėtinga dėl daugybės veiksnių (Glazier, 2010; Dutt-Mazumder et al., 2011). Dažniausiai nagrinėjama tik vienpusiški sportininkų rengimo klausimai, ir tuomet sumažėja galimybė nustatyti tiesioginius ryšius tarp sportininkų rengimo ir parengtumo. Within the framework of high performance handball, it is possible to discern player's characteristics which come diverse profiles, be it individual or collective. The recent context of professionnalisation of handball, the cultural and social imprint of the Dunkirk region, the nature of the sporting activity itself, player's stories. . . All must be taken into consideration, insofar as they contribute in the re-defining and re-possessing of modern sports grounds and facilities. The study of symbolisms then seems to give a new understanding as long as the symbolism can be moulded to the perception of the individual and gives us a deeper insight into the attachment to a particular sport. Syftet med föreliggande studie är främst att studera sammanhållning hos herr- respektive damlag samt undersöka eventuella skillnader/likheter. Författarna avser vidare att undersöka ledares uppfattningar om sin egen roll för sammanhållningen i ett lag samt deras uppfattningar om hur sammanhållning skapas och bibehålls. Totalt deltog 96 manliga och kvinnliga handbollsspelare, från division 1 och 2, i åldrarna 16-34 i den kvantitativa undersökningen och 4 tränare deltog i den kvalitativa undersökningen. Resultatet visade att det fanns en signifikant skillnad mellan sammanhållningen i dam- respektive herrlagen då kvinnor upplevde en högre grad av sammanhållning. Resultaten visade vidare att tränarna ansåg att sammanhållningsarbetet bör se olika ut för kvinnor och män då kvinnor lägger större vikt vid att känslan i gruppen var bra och män fokuserar mer på prestation. Slutligen visade resultatet att sammanhållning ständigt bör underhållas för att uppnå bästa resultat. Resultaten diskuteras i relation till olika teoretiska perspektiv.
The purpose of this study is mainly to study the cohesion of the men's and women's teams and investigate any differences / similarities. The authors also intend to explore coaches perceptions about their own role in the cohesion of a team, and their perceptions of how cohesion is created and maintained. A total of 96 male and female handball players, in division 1 and 2, from age 16 to 34 participated in the quantitative study, and four coaches participated in the qualitative survey. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the cohesion of the men and women, as the female handball players experienced a higher level of cohesion then the male handball players. Further, the results showed that the coaches felt that the cohesion is different in men's and women's teams,as women attach higher value to how well the members of the group get along and men tend to focus on their own performance. Finally, the results showed that cohesion should be constantly maintained in order to achieve success. The results were discussed in relation to different theoretical perspectives.

Bakgrund: Axelskador är vanligt förekommande inom idrott. Det finns ett tydligt samband mellan axelskador och idrotter som innefattar hand- och armrörelser ovanför huvudhöjd, som till exempel handboll. Axellederna utsätts för såväl hård fysisk kontakt som hög belastning vid repetitiva kaströrelser vilket ställer stora krav på axelledens strukturer. Prevalensen av aktuell eller tidigare axelskada rapporteras vara mellan 58 till 75 % hos spelarna. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur ett preventivt träningsprogram riktat mot riskfaktorer för skada i axelleden, utfört under åtta veckor i slutskedet av tävlingssäsong, påverkade prevalensen av överbelastningsskador i axelleden hos elithandbollsspelare i Sverige. Hur påverkas prevalensen av överbelastningskador och av allvarliga överbelastningsskador i axelleden under åtta veckor med samtidigt genomförande av ett preventivt träningsprogram för axelleden på elithandbollsspelare i Sverige? Metod: Studien var av kvasi-experimentell design vilken bestod av sex mättillfällen under åtta veckor. Nio elithandbollslag aktiva i Mellansverige rekryterades, varav 110 av 162 tillgängliga spelare inkluderades vid studiestart. Exkludering under och efter studieperioden gjorde att analysen utfördes på ett färre antal spelare. Lagen delades in i interventions- (n = 48) eller kontrollgrupp (n = 32) genom stratifierat urval, medelålder (± SD) 22.0 (3.3) respektive 21.9 (4.0). Interventionsgruppen tilldelades ett preventivt träningsprogram bestående av tre övningar i syfte att förbättra riskfaktorer för axelskador hos ”overhead athletes”. Kontrollgruppen tilldelades ingen intervention. Träningsprogrammet utvärderades genom att analysera prevalensen av överbelastningsskada och allvarlig överbelastningsskada i axelleden mätt med en modifierad version av The Oslo Sports Trauma Research Centre Overuse Injury Questionnaire. Resultat: Totalt 455 överbelastningssymtom rapporterades hos 42 spelare (53 %) varav 95 symtom var allvarliga hos 18 spelare (23 %). Prevalensen av överbelastningsskada minskade för både interventions- och kontrollgruppen från 42 % (95 % CI 28-56 %) till 25 % (95 % CI 13-37 %) respektive 53 % (95 % CI 36-70 %) till 31 % (95 % CI 15-47 %). Prevalensen av allvarliga överbelastningsskador minskade för både interventions- och kontrollgruppen från 15 % (95 % CI 5-25 %) till 6 % (95 % CI -1-13 %) respektive 19 % (95 % CI 5-32 %) till 13 % (95 % CI 1-24 %). Det fanns ingen signifikant skillnad mellan grupperna gällande prevalensen efter åtta veckors intervention. Allvarlighetspoängen minskade genomgående med en signifikant skillnad (p = 0.001) över tid för båda grupperna där kontrollgruppen förbättrades något mer. Det fanns en tendens till skillnad mellan grupperna (p = 0.064) gällande allvarlighetspoäng. Slutsats: Resultaten av denna studie visar på att prevalensen av allvarlig överbelastningsskada i axelleden hos elithandbollsspelare i Sverige möjligtvis kan reduceras till viss del genom utförande av ett preventivt träningsprogram två eller fler gånger per vecka under åtta veckor. Prevalensen av allvarliga symtom för överbelastningsskada minskade till ett något lägre värde för interventionsgruppen. Skillnaden för prevalens av överbelastningsskada inom interventionsgruppen, undergrupperade på antal utförda förebyggande träningspass, var signifikant (p = 0.044). Allvarlighetspoängen minskade i båda grupperna under studien. Det fanns en tendens till signifikant skillnad mellan grupperna (p = 0,.064), där kontrollgruppen förbättrades något mer trots ett högre värde vid mätning vecka 8. Axelskada och dysfunktioner hos ”overhead athletes” kan orsakas av olika faktorer vilket innebär att även riskfaktorerna bakom var och en av dessa tillstånd kan variera. Det är därför viktigt att upplysa om att träningsprogrammets påverkan på individnivå kan se annorlunda ut jämfört med resultatet på gruppnivå i den större populationen.
Background: Shoulder injuries are common in sport. In particular there is a clear relationship between shoulder injuries and sports that includes hand- and arm movements over the head, for example handball. In handball, the shoulder joints are exposed to hard physical contact as well as high loads during repetitive throwing which puts high demands on the structures inside and surrounding the shoulder joint. The prevalence of current or previous shoulder injuries is reported to be between 58 to 75 % in studies of handball players. Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate how a preventive training program aimed at risk factors for shoulder injuries in the shoulder joint, performed during eight weeks in the final stage of competitive season, affected the prevalence of overuse injuries in the shoulder joint for elite handball players in Sweden.  How is the prevalence of overuse injuries and severe overuse injuries in the shoulder joints of elite Swedish handball players affected by the implementation of an eight-week preventive training program? Method: The study was of a quasi-experimental design which consisted of six measurements taken during eight weeks. Nine elite handball teams active in the middle regions of Sweden were recruited, from which 110 of the 162 available players were included. Exclusions during and after the study period reduced the number of players. The teams were divided into an intervention (n = 48) or control group (n = 32) through stratified sampling, with mean age (± SD) 22.0 (3.3) and 21.9 (4.0), respectively. The intervention group was assigned a preventive exercise program consisting of three exercises with the purpose of improving riskfactors for shoulder injuries for overhead athletes. The control group was not assigned any intervention. The training program was evaluated by analyzing the prevalence of overuse and severe overuse symptoms in the shoulder measured with a modified version of The Oslo Sports Trauma Research Centre Overuse Injury Questionnaire. Results: A total of 455 overuse symptoms were reported by 42 players (53 %) of which 95 symptoms in 18 players (23 %) were severe. The prevalence of overuse injuries decreased in both the intervention and the control group from 42 % (95 % CI 28-56 %) to 25 % (95 % CI 13-37 %) and 53 % (95 % CI 36-70 %) to 31 % (95 % CI 15-47 %), respectively. The prevalence of severe overuse injuries decreased in both the intervention and the control group from 15 % (95 % CI 5-25 %) to 6 % (95 % CI -1-13 %) and 19 % (95 % CI 5-32 %) to 13 % (95 % CI 1-24 %), respectively. There was no significant difference between the groups regarding prevalence after the intervention of eight weeks. Severity score consistently decreased with a significant difference over time (p = 0.001) for both groups, with a slightly greater improvement in the control group. There was a tendency towarda difference between the groups (p = 0.064) regarding the severity score. Conclusions: The results of this study show that the prevalence of severe overuse injuries in the shoulder joint of elite handball players in Sweden might be reduced to some extent by performing a preventive exercise program two or more times per week for eight weeks. The prevalence of severe symptoms of overload injury decreased to a slightly lower value for the intervention group. The difference of prevalence of overuse injuries within the intervention group, stratified by the number of executed preventive exercise programs (<2 and ≥2), was significant (p = 0.044). Severity score decreased in both groups during the study. However, there was a tendency to a significant difference between the groups (p = 0.064), where the control group improved slightly more in spite of a higher value when measured at week 8. Shoulder injury and dysfunctions of overhead athletes can be caused by various factors, which means that the riskfactors for each of these conditions may vary. It is therefore important to highlight that the effects of a training program may be different at the individual level compared with the results at group level.

Contrairement aux autres sports collectifs introduits en France dans la seconde moitié du XIXème siècle, le handball prend son essor en France durant l’entre-deux-guerres. Passant d’une pratique d’entraînement hivernal des athlètes, à une pratique professionnelle au début du XXIe siècle, notre objet de recherche cherche à expliquer les processus d’intégration et de diffusion de cette pratique en France, tant sur le plan géopolitique que technico-tactique. À partir d’une diversité de sources, (archives institutionnelles, témoignages de 25 acteurs, coupures de presse et périodiques handballistiques), trois perspectives sont envisagées (institutionnelle, sociale et culturelle), identifiant quatre étapes dans la construction du handball français. Après une première phase d’importation, grâce à deux vecteurs de diffusion principaux, le sport ouvrier et le sport scolaire, se situant à des échelles et des vitesses différentes, la FFHB est créée par le régime de Vichy, associé à quelques professeurs d’EP conquis par cette nouvelle activité de football à la main qui se pratique alors à 7 ou 11 joueurs. Puis, lorsque le handball à 7 devient majoritaire, sa représentation culturelle se transforme, passant d’une somme de techniques individuelles à maîtriser à la nécessité de prendre en considération les adversaires et les partenaires. Cette révolution est largement soutenue par la DTN dans les années 1960 et 1970, en lien avec les considérations scientifiques présentes en France et à l’étranger, pendant que Nelson Paillou conçoit la massification des licenciés et la structuration du système fédéral selon une logique amateur. La chute du bloc de l’Est et le choix des dirigeants et entraîneurs fédéraux, de privilégier le haut niveau contribuent aux premiers succès français tout en ouvrant l’ère de la marchandisation et de la spectacularisation à partir des années 1990. Néanmoins, à l’aube du XXIe siècle, le handball finit par s’abstraire des modèles étrangers et rejoint le développement des autres sports collectifs en professionnalisant ses structures et ses acteurs
Unlike the other team sports brought to France in the second half of the 19th century, handball thrived in France between the First and the Second World Wars. It has moved since then from a winter training practice to become a professional activity at the beginning of the 21st century. The objective of our research is to explain the integration and propagation processes of this sport, with geopolitical as well as technical and tactical considerations. A variety of sources have been investigated – institutional archives, testimonies of 25 stakeholders, press articles, periodicals about handball – with regards to three axis – institutional, social and cultural – ; four stages have been identified in the development of handball in France. The first phase is the importation of handball through two dissemination vectors that have different scales and paces: the sport of the working class and school sport. The Vichy government creates the FFHB, which is associated to a few Physical Education teachers that are captivated by this new activity – football played with hands in teams of 7 or 11 players. Then, when the handball is mainly played in teams of 7, its cultural representation changes: it goes from a superposition of individual technics to the need of taking into consideration teammates and opponents. This revolution is supported by the national technical direction in the 1960’s and 1970’s and is linked to the scientific thoughts in France and abroad ; meanwhile, Nelson Paillou makes handball available to the masses and structures the federal system with the objective to promote non professional handball. With the collapse of the communist bloc, federal managers and trainers choose to favour high-level sport and contribute to the first French successes. From the 1990’s, they also start developing the commercial aspect and the spectacle aspect of the sport. However, at the dawn of the 21st century, handball finally moves away from international models and follows the development of the other team sports with a more professional structure and stakeholders

Així, aquesta tesi mostra el procés d’elaboració d’un treball terminològic a l’àmbit de l’handbol. En primer lloc, s’ha emmarcat el llenguatge de l’handbol dins de la Teoria Comunicativa de la Terminologia. En segon lloc, s’han constituït dos corpus de textos d’handbol, un actual i un històric. La insatisfacció produïda pels resultats dels anàlisis en quant a la poca i imprecisa presència dels termes d’handbol representats en ambdós tipus de diccionari, per un costat, i la inexistència de diccionaris d’handbol en espanyol pel gran públic, per l’altre, ha comportat la confecció d’un lemari que serveixi com a base per l’elaboració d’un diccionari d’handbol dirigit al gran públic. Així doncs, durant el desenvolupament d’aquesta tesi s’han elaborat i presentat dos corpus i els anàlisis lexicològics i lexicogràfics dels termes de l’handbol. Aquests estudis no solament han servit per assolir l’objectiu principal d’aquesta tesi, establir un lemari, sinó que també constitueixen aportacions fonamentals per la futura elaboració d’un diccionari d’handbol dirigit al gran públic.
La tesis, titulada Terminología del balonmano: estudio léxico, lexicográfico y propuesta de lemario para la elaboración de un diccionario de especialidad dirigido al gran público, parte de la ausencia de investigaciones sobre balonmano desde el punto de vista lingüístico. Así pues, esta tesis muestra el proceso de elaboración de un trabajo terminológico en el ámbito del balonmano. En primer lugar, se ha enmarcado el lenguaje del balonmano dentro de la Teoría Comunicativa de la Terminología. En segundo lugar, se han constituido dos corpus de textos balonmanísticos, uno actual y uno histórico. En tercer lugar, se han estudiado las características lexicológicas de los términos incluidos en ambos corpus para observar los rasgos del léxico del balonmano histórico y actual. En cuarto lugar, se ha analizado cuantitiva y cualitativamente la presencia de los términos del corpus de léxico actual en diccionarios generales monolingües de español y en diccionarios de balonmano especializados. The thesis, titled Handball Terminology: lexical and lexicographic study and proposal of a lemmata for a specialty dictionary for general public, is motivated by the absence of investigations about handball from a linguistic point of view. Thus, this work shows the process of elaboration of a terminological work in the field of handball. In first place, the language of handball has been framed in the Communicative Theory of Terminology. In second place, two handball textual corpora have been constituted, one is historical and the other one is contemporary. In third place, the terms included in both corpora have been analyzed to observe its lexical characteristics. In fourth place, the presence of the terms of the corpora in both general Spanish dictionaries and handball dictionaries has been analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The dissatisfaction produced by the results of these analysis regarding the scarcity and inaccuracy of handball terms in both types of dictionaries, on the one side, and the inexistence of handball dictionaries for the general public on the other, has led to the creation of a lemmata. Throughout the development of this thesis, two corpora and the lexical and lexicographic analysis have been carried out and presented. These studies are not only used to achieve the main objective of this thesis, establish a lemmata, but also they are fundamental contributions for the future elaboration of a handball dictionary for the general public.

Ce travail vise à étudier le rôle du niveau de développement cognitif et de l'interaction sociale paritaire dans l'acte tactique et son apprentissage au hand ball. Le cadre théorique se situe au carrefour de la psychologie génétique, de la psychologie sociale du développement et de la didactique des sports collectifs. Une première étude vérifie l'existence d'une relation entre le niveau opératoire et l'acte tactique chez des sujets plutôt novices, âgés de onze à seize ans. L'étude suivante montre un effet favorable des interactions verbales dans l'apprentissage au choix décisionnel en dyades et nous observons un effet du niveau cognitif sur les progrès dans la construction de compétences tactiques. Enfin, une troisième étude se propose d'étudier l'effet du degré de symétrie/dissymétrie de compétence et se montre favorable aux dyades légèrement dissymétriques. L'ensemble des recherches menées va dans le sens d'une approche socioconstructiviste des apprentissages en sports collectifs
This work aims at studying the role of the level of cognitive development and that of peer social interaction in the learning of tactics in handball. The theoretical framework unites genetic psychology, social development psychology and research into team sport didactics. A first study verifies the existence of a relationship between operative levels and tactical actions in fairly novice learners aged between 11 and 16 years old. The following study shows a favourable effect of verbal interaction on the learning of decision making in dyads. There is moreover the observation of the influence of cognitive level on progress made in the acquiring of tactical skills. Finally, a third study aims to study the effect of the degree of symmetrical or asymmetrical skills on results and reveals greater progress made by subjects working in a light asymmetrical dyadic situation. All the research carried out is in line with a socio-constructivist approach to the learning and teaching of team sports

Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva handbollen som en egen kultur och socialisation, innehållande ritualer och symboler, utifrån ett socialantropologiskt perspektiv, samt att studera ledarnas betydelse i ett handbollslag när det kommer till vad spelarna lär sig på planen. Detta är en fältstudie av flickhandbollslag och deras tränare. Data har samlats in genom observationer och intervjuer med tränarna. Uppsatsen beskriver handboll som en egen kultur där spelarna genom socialisation lär sig handbollens regler och normer. Symboler, som matchkläder och språk, identifieras liksom ritualer, som utförs både på träningar och matcher. Teorin om passageritualer kopplas till de faktorer som förbereder unga spelare inför en framtida förflyttning till ett äldre lag. Genom intervjuer med tränarna identifieras även flera olika tabun kopplade till hur en handbollsspelare förväntas bete sig. Uppsatsen studerar även de livskunskaper som ungdomar kan lära sig genom att delta i sport. En avgörande faktor för denna inlärning är de vuxna ledarnas inställning och förmåga att agera förebild. Detta gör att ungdomarna kan lära sig kunskaper som kan tas med även utanför idrottens sammanhang. Uppsatsen beskriver även olika ledarskapstyper, vissa tenderar att fokusera på gruppens resultat, medan andra fokuserar på dess deltagare och välmående.
The purpose of this essay is to describe team handball as a culture and socialization, containing symbols and rituals, from a social anthropological perspective and also studying the importance of the leaders of a handball team, when it comes to what players are learning on the court. The essay is a field study, describing team handball as a culture where players through socialization are learning the rules and norms of handball. Symbols, such as clothes and language, are being identified as well as rituals that are being preformed during practices and games. The “rites of passage” theory is connected to the fact that younger players in different ways are being prepared for playing on a higher level with an older team. By interviewing the leaders of the team in this essay, different taboos are being identified, connected to the expected behaviour of a handball player. The essay also studies the life skills that young people can learn through sport participation. A crucial factor of this learning is the attitude of the adult leaders and their ability to act as role models. If the leaders can manage this, the young players are likely to receive knowledges that can be used in other contexts than sport. The essay also describes different types of leaders, some tend to focus on the results of the group, whereas other types focus on its members.

O handebol é um jogo esportivo coletivo (JEC) cuja lógica interna regula as interações entre jogadores e equipes. Com o goleiro de handebol isto não é diferente, pois em seu processo de ensino-aprendizagem-treinamento (EAT) é preciso considerar a influência das capacidades motoras, psicológicas e técnico-táticas em função das exigências que são determinadas ao posto específico. Sendo o treinador, o responsável pelo planejamento e condução do processo de EAT, sua opinião é fundamental para que seja possível compreender quais as características que podem influenciar na ação do goleiro de handebol. Assim, o objetivo geral deste trabalho foi identificar as diretrizes para o processo de EAT do goleiro de handebol. Para identificar o panorama da literatura sobre o goleiro de handebol, foi feita uma revisão sistemática sobre o ensino e análise de jogo desse posto específico. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, foi utilizada uma abordagem qualitativa, por meio da realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas com os treinadores da categoria sub-16 que atuavam em duas ligas regionais do Estado de São Paulo. Para a tabulação e análise das entrevistas foi utilizado o método Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC). Os achados da revisão sistemática apontaram que os estudos com goleiros de handebol são recentes e, por essa razão, foram identificadas algumas lacunas na literatura, como os estudos com goleiros jovens e os estudos com treinadores, que são características da presente pesquisa. Após a análise dos discursos dos treinadores, foi possível identificar que, para a categoria sub-16, o processo de EAT do goleiro de handebol deve ser pautado no desenvolvimento de um repertório motor amplo que facilite o aprendizado das técnicas específicas exigidas pelo jogo. Essas características irão pautar suas ações na fase defensiva para conseguir defender os diferentes tipos de arremesso, a partir da capacidade de leitura dos sinais relevantes que podem influenciar as ações que o goleiro pode fazer em jogo. Essa leitura deverá ser capaz de identificar sinais como o braço de arremesso, o gestual técnico e as trajetórias do adversário. Na fase ofensiva, o goleiro deve ser estimulado a compreender o modelo de jogo de sua equipe para que possa dar orientações técnico-táticas aos jogadores de quadra, como os espaços para atacar em vantagem numérica e possíveis feedbacks relacionados ao comportamento do goleiro adversário. Nesta fase, o goleiro também deve procurar repor a bola em jogo rapidamente após fazer uma defesa ou recuperar a posse de bola próximo a sua área. Esse comportamento pode favorecer o ataque da sua equipe, ao obter vantagens como acelerar o ataque e dificultar o retorno defensivo do adversário
Handball is a team sport whose internal logic regulates the interactions between players and teams. With the handball goalkeeper this is not different, because in its teaching-learning-training process (TLT) it is necessary to consider the influence of the motor, psychological and technical-tactical abilities these are recquired for the specific position. As the coach is responsible for planning and conducting the TLT process, his opinion is fundamental so that it is possible to understand what characteristics may influence the handball goalkeeper action\'s. Therefore, the main objective of this work was to identify the guidelines for the TLT process of the handball goalkeeper. In order to identify the literature overview about the handball goalkeeper, a systematic review researched about the teaching process and game analysis of this specific position. For the development of this research, a qualitative approach was used, through semi-structured interviews with U-16 coaches who played in two regional leagues in the state of São Paulo in 2016. For the tabulation and analysis of the interviews, the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD) method was used. The findings of the systematic review pointed out that studies with handball goalkeepers are recent and, for this reason, some lack in the literature have been identified, such as studies with young goalkeepers and studies with coaches, which are characteristics of the present research. After analyzing the coaches\' speeches, it was possible to identify, for the sub-16 category, that the handball goalkeeper TLT process should be based on the development of a broad motor repertoire that facilitates the learning of the specific techniques recquired by the game. These characteristics will guide his actions in the defensive phase to be able to defend the different types of throw, from the ability to identify the relevant signals that can influence the goalkeeper actions inside the game. This ability should be able to identify signals such as the throwing arm, the technical gesture and the oponente trajectories before the throwing. In the offensive phase, the goalkeeper must be encouraged to understand his team\'s game model so that he can give technical-tactical guidance to court players, such as spaces to attack in numerical advantage and possible feedbacks related to the behavior of the opponent\'s goalkeeper. At this phase, the goalkeeper should also seek to reset the ball in play quickly after making a defense or regaining possession of the ball near his area. This behavior can favor your team\'s attack by gaining advantages such as accelerating the attack and hampering the opponent\'s defensive return

The study’s purpose was to explore a team’s perception of transition within the clubexperienced by both players and coaches, investigate influences of the clubs transition onbasic needs satisfaction as perceived by players as well as coaches and lastly conduct a shortterm intervention aimed at facilitating players’ adaptation to the clubs transition. The study isbased on three theories: the Athletic Career Transitional Model, Self Determination theoryand the holistic ecological approach. The study’s participants all represented a club in thesouth of Sweden and consisted of a total of 23 players at the age of 15-17 (M= 15,96, SD=0,64), the club manager, coaches and parents. The study was a mixed method interventionstudy (questionnaire, semi-structured interviews and an intervention consisting of educationalsessions and an implementation phase).The study revealed that the club is still facilitating with remnants of its transition despiteover-looking it. The study found the targeted club to predominantly demand elite investmentfrom players, experience barriers regarding individual differences and communication withinthe club and resources in the form of popular, well-educated coaches. The clubs transition wasfound to influence all basic needs in some way, the change in management brought positivevalues with autonomy supportive measures and coaches. Increased elite investment anddeficient communication within the club also influenced basic needs. Results from theintervention are presented as well as implications with a basis in the theories used.
Studiens syfte var att undersöka ett lags uppfattning om hur klubbens övergång upplevs avbåde spelare och tränare, undersöka påverkan av klubbövergången på grundläggandepsykologiska behov som upplevs av spelare samt tränare och slutligen göra en kortsiktigintervention i syfte att underlätta spelares anpassning till klubbövergången. Studien baseras påtre teorier: the Athletic Career Transitional Model, Självbestämmande-teorin och detholistiska ekologiska synsättet. Studiens deltagare representerade en klubb i södra Sverige ochbestod av totalt 23 spelare åldern 15-17 (M = 15,96, SD = 0,64), klubbens manager, tränareoch föräldrar. Studien var en mixed method interventionsstudie (enkät, semi-struktureradeintervjuer och en intervention bestående av utbildningstillfällen samt en implementeringsfas).Resultatet visade att klubben fortfarande handskas med resterna av sin övergång trots att deförbiser det. The present study is a mixed method longitudinal design, containing three objectives. Object one was to develop a team-specific survey instrumentin order to measure emotion, concentration and performance during a game. Object two was to examine the dynamics of emotion, concentration and performance in successful and less successful games. Object three was to study the relationship between emotion, concentration and performance in successful and less successful games. The participants (n= 15, age= 22.8) in the study consisted of 15 women, all players in the same elite handball team.Qualitative data was obtained by two workshops in order to construct the instrument. Quantitative data was collected after games, using the team specific instrument. The study includes data over a six game period containing four successful games and two less successful games. Results showed a significant difference between successful and less successful games regarding all three variables measured. Both positive and negative relationships were found. The results also showed different relationships regarding successful and less successful games. Several practical team-specific applications were suggested, such as working with emotional regulation to enhance performance. Investigating if athletes are more prone to be influenced emotionally by their performance when performing poorlyis one of several suggestions proposed for future directions.

La compréhension des duels sportifs est une tâche complexe, car elle nécessite de maîtriser une interaction entre deux individus. Dans des conditions réelles de jeu, il est impossible de contrôler tous les paramètres. Ainsi aucune relation ne peut être effectuée entre un mouvement d'un joueur et la réponse de l'adversaire. La réalité virtuelle offre de nouvelles perspectives pour faire interagir des sportifs dans des environnements entièrement sous contrôle. Dans cette thèse nous proposons de développer et de valider un processus d'analyse des duels sportifs, pour une application précise : le duel entre un gardien et un tireur au handball. Dans un premier temps, nous montrons que les réactions des gardiens sont identiques, pour un même tir, dans un environnement réel et virtuel. Une fois notre outil validé, nous modifions à l'aide d'un modèle de mouvement la gestuelle d'un tireur humanoi͏̈de. Ceci nous permet de définir l'influence des variations de mouvements du tireur sur la réaction du gardien. Nous quantifions ainsi, l'influence du poignet, de l'inclinaison du buste et de l'instant de lâcher du ballon sur la parade du gardien
The comprehension of the sporting duels is a complex task, because it requires to control an interaction between two subjects. Under real conditions of play, it is impossible to control all the parameters. Thus no relation can be made between a movement and the response of the opponent. Virtual reality offers new prospects to make interact sportsmen in environments entirely under control. In this thesis, we propose to develop and validate a process for the analysis in sporting duels, in a precise application: the duel between a goalkeeper and a thrower in handball. First, we show that the reactions of the goalkeeper are identical, for the same throw, in a real and virtual environment. Once our tool is validated, we modify the gesture of the humanoid thrower thanks to a model of movement. This enables us to define the influence of the thrower's movements on the reaction of the goalkeeper. We quantify thus, the influence of the wrist, climbing the bust, and the modification of ball release on the goalkeeper's reaction

Violence in sport happening during sporting fight as well as out of play, is becoming a serious social problem, most often sporting activity is criticised exactly through the excessive manifestation of aggression. There are rather controversial attitudes of scientists towards manifestation of men and women aggression presented. That prompted to do a research analysing possibility of manifestation of aggression among different sex handball players of various performance (n=119) and have established interrelation of various forms of aggression. Having analysed manifestation of aggression in the aspect of sex, it was found that women are eager to express hostile aggression more than men. Summarising manifestation of aggression in the aspect of performance, the form of instrumental aggression is more expressed in high peak performance women handball players, and a feature of jealousy and tendency to hostile aggression is more peculiar to low peak performance women. Upon establishing coherence of various aggression forms among high peak performance handball players, it was founded that with increasing possibility of manifestation of instrumental aggression, a possibility of verbal aggression was also increasing. Instrumental aggression of low peak performance handball players – both men and women - is more related to defensive aggression.

Les travaux qui sont présentés dans ce rapport de thèse, ont pour objectif de vérifier la validité écologique de certaines propositions de la théorie de l'évaluation cognitive de deci et ryan (1980, 1985) relatives aux effets d'interaction des informations de compétence, des perceptions d'autonomie ou de contrôle en contexte sportif, et notamment en situation de handball. Les quatre expérimentations qui y sont présentées, prennent en compte et parfois articulent, des variables intra-individuelles et des variables particulières correspondant aux situations de pratiques collectives, et s'avèrent en définitive proches des conditions d'entrainement, tant du point de vue de la nature des activités proposées, que des processus de comparaison sociale intragroupe actives. Ce travail représente un cheminement de recherche qui a consisté en l’exploration d’indices numériques et de critères qualitatifs permettant d’étudier les prises de décision tactiques chez deux groupes de filles d’origines culturelles différentes (tunisienne et française). Avec cette étude, nous envisageons de contribuer au développement d'un corpus de connaissances propre aux sports collectifs dont le handball féminin à l’école. En particulier, nous ambitionnons de généraliser des outils et des méthodes d'observation permettant d'obtenir des informations plus pertinentes, plus précises sur ce qui se passe réellement en jeu dans les rapports d’opposition.Les différentes expérimentations montrent l’effet de la condition d’apprentissage avec verbalisation sur le projet d’action et sur la pertinence des choix dans les configurations du jeu lors des rencontres. Il y a donc un intérêt certain pour la construction de connaissances tactiques à long terme en relation avec la mise en œuvre d’une véritable sémiotique de l’action motrice en handball. Les jeux réduits constituent un outil d’apprentissage fondamental en didactique des sports collectifs. La mise en relation de la pensée dans et sur l’action offre aux élèves des moyens différenciés pour progresser. Le retour réflexif sur la pratique est une source de perfectionnement de cette dernière en permettant d’accéder aux règles d’action. En préservant une rigueur certaine dans la démarche de recherche et en ayant pour souci de clarifier les différentes étapes de notre travail, nous avons tenté de contribuer au développement d’une didactique scolaire des jeux collectifs
This work represents a research process that consisted in exploring numerical indices and qualitative criteria in order to study decision making with two groups of girls from two different cultural backgrounds (French and Tunisian). Through this study we hope to contribute to the development of a body of knowledge relative to team sports, including female handball at school. Specifically, our ambition is to generalize observational tools and methods giving access to more pertinent and precise information on what actually happens in game play with respect to the opposition relationship.The different experimentations show the effect of the learning condition with verbalization on the action project and on the pertinence of choices in configurations of play during game play. Abstract:
Background: Today, sport specific high school educations is a common alternative for students applying for educations. The majority of the larger cities in Sweden has this option for adolescent athletes, allowing them to start their journey towards the elite in an early age. However, this option leads to higher training volume and a greater responsibility for the young athletes. If training volume is not controlled the everyday life of the athletes gets affected and the risk of injuries increases. Aim: The aim of this study was to determine if training volume, injury prevalence and type of injury differed between young female and male students attending a handball specific high school education. Furthermore, the aim was to analyse whether cardiovascular capacity and training volume have a high (r > 0.50) correlation with the injury prevalence among students attending the sport specific handball high school education. Methods: When examining training habits, injuries and cardiovascular capacity in this study, a questionnaire and the submaximal Åstrands cycle ergometer test was used. The questionnaire was a compilation of two already existing and validated questionnaire and the Åstrands test was performed according to the existing test manual to guarantee valid results. Results: The main results in this study show a significant difference in training volume between sexes, the women in the study had an increased training volume of 2 hours/week compared to men. The most common type of injury was overload injuries (68% of all injuries). However, there was no significant difference between sexes although an indication that women suffers from more acute injuries than men was seen. There was a moderate correlation (rs=0.43) between training volume and injury prevalence but no correlation when dividing the group by sex. Conclusions: The conclusion from this study is that female adolescent handball players in a handball specific high school education have both higher injury prevalence and higher training volume than age-, sports- and school matched male players. Also, for all participants in a handball specific high school education an increased training volume is likely to increase the risk of injury in the athletes. Also, there was a trend that women had a higher injury prevalence than men. Therefore, adaption in training volume should be made with care and under observation from coaches to adapt the athletes and avoid further injuries.

En el presente estudio se analiza la duración de los ataques de los 20 partidos realizados en las fases eliminatorias y en la “placement round” del Campeonato del Mundo de Balonmano Masculino de Catar 2015. Se elaboró un instrumento de observación ad hoc denominado ETP y se introdujo en el software Sportimization V.5. El instrumento, se diseñó para registrar la duración de los ataques y las dimensiones que definen las condiciones del entorno, la conducta y la finalización de los mismos (Daza, 2010). Se analizó un total de 2350 posesiones y 3359 secuencias de ataque. El tratamiento de los datos se realizó a través de los mixed methods, combinando el análisis descriptivo y el análisis asociativo relacional mediante las pruebas estadísticas de Mann-Whitney y de Kruskal-Wallis. La investigación concluye que existe una duración representativa para cada sub-fase del contraataque, siendo de 6” para el contraataque directo, de 10” para el contraataque en segunda oleada, de 15” en tercera oleada, de 12” en el contragol y de 33” cuando se finaliza una posesión en la fase de ataque organizado en sistema. También se aportan datos estadísticamente significativos que afirman que la duración más eficaz para el contraataque directo es de 6”, en segunda oleada entre 9 y 10” y en el caso del ataque en sistema, se dan más pautas para establecer una duración eficaz según: el tiempo de partido, el número de interrupciones de un ataque, el marcador, la relación numérica y el sistema ofensivo. Asimismo, se advierte que la duración media de las posesiones con advertencia de juego pasivo es 50”. La duración de las posesiones con juego pasivo varía significativamente (p<0,05) en función del número de interrupciones durante el ataque y del marcador parcial, siendo la duración media de estos ataques 5” superior cuando se va perdiendo. Estos hechos nos permiten afirmar finalmente la imparcialidad en la aplicación de la norma.
The following study analyzes the duration of the attacks from the 20 games played in the knockout and the placement rounds of the Men's Handball World Championship in Qatar 2015. An ad-hoc observational instrument named “ETP” was developed and properly introduced in the Sportimization V.5 software. The instrument was designed to record the duration of the attacks and the dimensions that define the contextual conditions, the behavior of the teams and the evaluation of the ball possessions according to the dimensional attack model of Daza (2010). An amount of 2350 possessions and 3359 attack sequences were analyzed. The data processing was performed using mixed methods, combining the descriptive statistic and the non-parametric analysis using the statistical tests of Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis. The research concludes that it exists a representative duration for each fast break phase, being 6" for the first wave counterattack, 10" in the second wave counterattack, 15" in the third wave counterattack, 12" in a fast break after goal and 33" when the possession ends in a set attack system. The other sort of statistically significant data, affirms that the most effective duration for the first wave is 6 ", for the second wave between 9 and 10" and in the case of the set attack, more guidelines are given to establish an effective duration depending on: the moment of game, the number of stops in the ball possession, the current score, the numerical relationship between both teams and the set attack system. Furthermore, we noticed that the average length of possessions that develop passive game is 50". The duration of those possessions with passive play, varies significantly (p<0.05) depending on: the number of stops per attack and the current score. This information allows us to finally confirm the subjectivity on the passive rule application.

La recherche menée dans cette thèse a pour objectif, dans le cadre de l'arbitrage sportif, de mettre en évidence certains facteurs de la décision et d'apporter des éléments d'information sur les processus décisionnels dans cette activité. L'approche théorique développe repose sur la modélisation systémique des processus de prise de décision de H. A. Simon. En effet ce modèle semble le mieux adapte pour rendre compte de la complexité des phénomènes impliques dans l'activité d'arbitrage, ainsi que de la spécificité de cette dernière. Deux éléments additionnels viennent compléter cette modélisation canonique: la pre-conception (représentation implicite) de l'arbitrage que possède chaque arbitre, et le contexte dans lequel se prennent les décisions. La démarche adoptée pour comprendre la participation de ces deux éléments aux processus décisionnels consiste dans un premier temps en une définition des différentes reconventionnelles de l'arbitrage au sein du corps arbitral par le biais d'une enquête auprès des arbitres de handball; dans un second temps, l'influence de la pre-conception ainsi que celle du contexte ont été mesurées dans une situation expérimentale interactive de simulation d'arbitrage. Les résultats montrent d'une part qu'il existe plusieurs reconventionnelles de l'arbitrage, et d'autre part que ces dernières, ainsi que le contexte influencent les décisions effectivement prises. Ils soulignent la difficulté (l'impossibilité) de la définition d'une décision optimale en matière d'arbitrage. Il semble des lors pertinent de ne pas négliger ces différences liées au contexte, et à la représentation implicite de l'arbitrage, si l'on veut comprendre les décisions arbitrales et contribuer a une meilleure formation des arbitres. Cette recherche pourrait être prolongée de manière a préciser les résultats concernant plus directement les processus décisionnels de manière détaille, ce qui apporterait une meilleure compréhension des comportements
This thesis aims to highlight decision making factors in sports refeering and supply information about decision making processes in this activity. The theoretical approach we have adopted is based on the H. A. Simon's systemic model of decision making processes, which is adapted to describe the complexity and specificity of refeering to additional dimensions are studied : the "pre-conception" (implicit representation) of refeering that each referee posseses, and the context in which decisions are taken. The method consists of two stages : a survey conducted on referees in order to know and describe the different "pre-conceptions" of refeering; and an experimental interactive simulation of refeering in order to measure the influence of context and "pre-conception" on decisions. Results show on the one hand that several "pre-conceptions" of refeering exist among the referees, on the other hand that they influence the effective decisions, as does the context. It seems to be relevant to take into account differences linked to context and refeering representation to understand referees'decisions and contribute to their training. Such a research should be continued so as to be more specific about decision making processes and provide a better understanding about decision behaviour in complex situations

Syftet med studien var att undersöka elitsatsande handbollsgymnasieelevers upplevda sammanhållning i deras respektive klubblag samt i deras träningsgrupp vid skolan. Vidare studerades handbollsspelarnas upplevelser av skillnader eller likheter i lagsammanhållningen i klubblag och träningsgrupp. Undersökningsdeltagarna bestod av tio män (M = 18,5) som går på ett elithandbollsgymnasium i Sverige. Datainsamlingen skedde med hjälp av en intervjuguide baserad på Carron´s (1982) konceptuella ramverk. Resultaten redovisades i huvudteman där positiva och negativa påverkansfaktorer för lagsammanhållningen klargjordes i träningsgrupp på skolan respektive klubblag. Vidare visade resultaten att majoriteten av undersökningsdeltagarna upplevde en mycket god social sammanhållning i träningsgruppen på gymnasiet och generellt en medelbra social och en bra uppgiftssammanhållning i sitt klubblag. Avslutningsvis framkom att de sammanlagda negativa upplevelserna, med koppling till lagsammanhållning, upplevdes vara fler i klubblag än i träningsgruppen på gymnasiet. Resultaten motsade några samt bekräftade redan tidigare studier.
The purpose of this study was to examine elite high school handball players perception of team cohesion in their teams and elite exercise group in school. Moreover the perception of differences and similarities in team cohesion in the two groups were investigated. The participants were ten men (mean age = 18,5) elite handball high school students in Sweden. Data was collected through an interview guide based on Carron´s (1982) conceptual framework. The results were showed in themes where positive and negative factors related to cohesion were shown in both teams and elite exercise group. Further the results showed that the majority of the participants perceive very good social cohesion in the exercise group in school and generally an average social and good task cohesion in their teams. Finally the total amount of negative perception, associated with team cohesion, were more in teams comparing to the exercise group in high school. The results supported and partly contradicted previous research.

Esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar o processo de profissionalização de atletas praticantes de Handebol de um time do Rio Grande do Sul considerando, sobretudo, suas narrativas acerca do que entendem sobre ser profissional do Handebol. Sua fundamentação teórico-metodológica está ancorada na História Oral cuja forma de captação de informações está centrada na realização de entrevistas com pessoas significativas ao contexto analisado. Considerando que o lócus da investigação foi a equipe APAHAND/UCS/Prefeitura de Caxias do Sul, sediada na cidade de Caxias do Sul, foram realizadas entrevistas com todas as atletas da equipe além de seu preparador físico. Com o objetivo de ampliar o quadro empírico também foram entrevistados quatro pessoas cuja história de vida está relacionada ao Handebol regional e nacional. A análise dessas entrevistas foi realizada considerando os objetivos da pesquisa e o referencia teórico que a fundamenta de onde emergiram dois eixos temáticos: como se dá o processo de profissionalização das atletas envolvendo suas narrativas sobre essa profissionalização e o esporte espetáculo no qual discuto aspectos relacionados à patrocínios, a relação com a mídia, a visibilidade da modalidade e a presença de público nos espaços de competição. A partir das análises foi possível verificar apesar do Brasil obter conquistas significativas e do Rio Grande do Sul apresentar uma equipe consolidada e reconhecida, o Handebol praticado por mulheres vive de uma pseudoprofissionalização cuja estrutura oferta condições ainda precárias para que as atletas possam viver do esporte.
This paper has as a goal to analyze the professionalization process of the handball female athletes in a team from Rio Grande do Sul, considering specially its issues about what is being a handball professional in their opinion. Its methodology is based in the oral history, that were collected by interviews with people who are connected to the context analyzed. Considering that the center of the investigation were the APAHAND/UCS/Prefeitura de Caxias do Sul team, located in Caxias do Sul city, the interviews were realized with all the team athletes, and their coach. To enrich the research, four more people - who their life stories are connected with the local and national handball history – were also interviewed. The analysis of the results considered the target of this study and the theoretical reference, that brings to light two issues: how the process of athletes professionalization happens, involving its narratives about the professionalization and the sport’s show, where I discuss aspects related to sponsors, the relation with media, the handball visibility and the audience during the competitions. With the analysis, it was possible to identify that despite Brazil’s team had good results, and Rio Grande do Sul had a recognized team, the Handball practiced for women lives a pseudo-professionalization, with conditions that don’t permit the female athletes have the sport as a way of live.

Abstract To elucidate how the attacking strategy affects the outcomes in handball games, we collected the video data from the six nation teams of real time recording by the author ,during The 3rd U22 East Asian Men Handball Championships. The methods of descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance and Pearson correlation were conducted to analyze the relationship between all attacking strategy and score in games. The major findings of this study were shown as follows: First, the results of attacking strategy were calculated and analyzed as follows: (1) With regard to comprehensive playing patterns of the handball offence, the successful shooting rate was 53%. The rate of total shooting amount was 74.7%, while the error rate was 25.3%. (2) Among all the attacking strategy, the winner team organized shooting was at a rate of 75.4%. Therefore, the tactics of handball was primarily based on team organization. (3) The patterns of successful goal shot rate were over 53%, which was arranged in order as bellow: counter-attack shooting, up-side-down shooting, shooting from the 7-metre penalty line, shooting over the goalie’s head, flying shooting and baseline shooting(right side, middle, left side) and the right wing shooting. Obviously, the closer the player to the 6-metre shooting line, the higher the success rate would be. (4) The lost of shooting is mostly due to the successful blocking the ball by goalkeeper. (5) Offensive mistake is mainly due to failed passes, followed by interception by the opponent. . Second, the results showed that among all attacking strategy,the left-side shooting, middle baseline shooting, right-wing outer line shooting, flying shooting, over goalie head shooting and kicking the ball violation reached sifgnificant differences (p<.05) Third, among all attacking strategy, counter-attack shooting, right-wing baseline shooting, center baseline shooting, penalty line shooting, flying shooting and the amount of shooting out of the court have a positive relationship to winning (p<.05). This study explores the growth of the full-time handball sports coach to understand the training process and the coping strategies when facing national competition. This study uses qualitative research method, semi-structured in-depth interview and participatory observation method. The interviewees include a high school handball sports coach, students, alumni, outstanding alumni and parents in Taipei. This study applies semi-structured in-depth interview, including face-to-face interviews and telephone interviews, to collect relevant information for data collection and analysis of results. The research found that coach Li held a positive attitude to face and solve every obstacle from being a player to enter the workforce. He is also very persistent and demanding in teaching students' attitudes and conducts. Each handball team in national competition could gradually reach the goal of cooperation, reduce players' adjustment period, and expect that handball in Taiwan would be stronger in the future. During training course, he is eager to innovate and accept new knowledge. As a handball coach, he is willing to share tactics and his skills, hoping to make the handball environment better and broader.

By studying PHMS recording system, domestic and international handball tournament data, statistical analysis of team tactics, personal information, and explore the technology race team competition advantages and disadvantages can conveniently and quickly be provided. To enhance the development of handball, the research purposes are as followed: 1. Understand the functions of PHMS system. 2. Discuss the effectiveness of handball competition and training that PHMS system can enhance. 3. Use the statistical information of PHMS system to analyze 2012 London Olympic Women’s Handball Game. 4. Use PHMS system to identify the offensive and defensive techniques that will impact the outcome of handball competitions. This is a case study concerning the 38 sessions of the 2012 London Olympic Handball Women's game as data to analyze the records of the offensive and defensive activities and explore the correlation degree between the various offensive and defensive activities and results of the competition: 1. PHMS system tools contain offensive and defensive game detailed maps and various offensives and defensive recorded which can not only immediately provide the offensive and defensive technology statistics and charts after the game, but also observe each player's attack position and shoot the shot point according to the various attack techniques sub-items. The system can also record the team’s defensive tactics, offensive team in attack and cut with the block tactical or personal attacks on the route running way. 2. The statistic information of PHMS recording system on the results in team competition and training help the coaches in the post before the game tactics and training accounted for 70%. 3. 2012 London Olympic Games women's handball on the offensive and defensive techniques in order to shot success rate is Fast-break shot (76%), Flank (72%), Underscore (6 m) shooting (71%), Wings shot (55%),Outside (9 m) shooting (36 %), Most of the factors that failed shot is being stopped by the goalkeeper, accounted for 58.4%, while in the shooting statistics squares upper right places LU 41.5%, RU left 43.62%, LD lower right corner of 42.68%, RD 43.36% lower left corner of the four highest scoring position. 4. By using PHMS recording system, it shows that the attack and defense skills that will impact the outcome are baseline (6 m) field goal, outside (9 m) field goal, fast-break field goal, goalie blocking, assists, offensive turnover rate, intercept the ball and ordinary players’ stopping the goal. The higher the success rate, the higher the score. The fast break shoot is the most significant positive correlation. There must be a successful defense, and it is going to make an opportunity for fast break. This conclusion will be a reference for coaches.

Will not cause a physical burden. Coach is a big test.   Methods: To explore the literature and through observation and in-depth interview. Secondary School、High school Handball players' perception of over-training. Analysis of the impact of their adjustment of life. The findings provide the school coach. Prospective Secondary School、High school handball player future development and training reference. 300 sets of questionnaires were administered on the competition site and 222 sets of questionnaire were valid for data analyses (91 males and 142 females). Perceived Stress Checklist and Athletic Burnout Questionnaire were used for the study, and descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson product moment correlation were used for data analyses.   Results: There are significant differences in over-training pressure and competitive pressure between different grades. Different training years, sports performance, and different training days have significant differences in overtraining pressure. Overtraining pressure is significantly related to competitive burnout pressure. Conclusion: Overtraining pressure is significantly related to competitive burnout pressure. It means that when athletes feel higher over-training pressure, their competitive burnout also increases. So how does the coach coordinate the balance between? Let the athletes maintain their enthusiasm for the competition while training. Avoid players getting bored or even burnout because of training pressure.

The aim of this study is to reveal the relationship between attack and deffence skills target and outcome in handball games. The samples were twenty-four female handball games during World University Women Handball Championship in 2006. Each of the games was filmed and all the attack and deffence skills target were coded into different categories. Percentage of each category of attack and deffence skills target was calculated, with description correlation to examine the relationship between attack and deffence skills target and the rate of winning. Multiple regression analysis was also adopted to explore the best predictor of the rate of winning a game among all the attack and deffence skills target. Results of this study showed that:1st, the sum of total goal shooting in all matches was 2497 times. The total shooting scores were 1323. The successful scoring rate was 52.98%., organized shooting was 2141 times , and the scores were 1072. while Fast break shooting was 356 times, and the scores were 251. However, the successful scoring rate for organized shooting was much lower than counter-attack shooting, which was 50.07% and 70.51% respectively., skill target: turnover was 702 times, attack fault 101 times, and interception 154 times . 2nd, there’s no distinguished difference of the skill of attack and deffence’s target between the first three teams and the last four teams. 3rd, in thirty attack and deffence skills target. Two of them can explain 97.6% variance of discrepancy of scores, including fast break, goalkeeper’s blockage. However, only fast break explained 82.7% of the rate of winning

Abstract:
In den Sportspielen Handball und Volleyball besitzen Sprunghandlungen eine enorme Bedeutung. Entsprechend häufig werden Sprünge sowohl im Wettkampf als auch im Training ausgeführt. Der Körper erfährt bei den darauffolgenden Landungen eine starke Belastung, die ein erhebliches Verletzungsrisiko insbesondere für die untere Extremität beinhaltet. Ein Ziel der Arbeit besteht darin, die Gelenkbelastung bei sportartspezifischen Landungen im Handball und Volleyball zu bestimmen. Zudem soll der Einfluss der Landetechnik auf die Größe der Belastung untersucht werden, um daraus Hinweise für die Trainingspraxis für weniger belastende Landungen zu erhalten. Für die Berechnungen der Gelenkkräfte und Gelenkmomente im Sprung-, Knie- und Hüftgelenk wurde ein 3-dim. 4-Segment-Modell entwickelt. An der Untersuchung nahmen 32 aktive Hand- bzw. Volleyballspieler teil, deren Landung nach einem Sprungwurf bzw. Schmetterschlag mit einer Frequenz von 625 Hz aufgenommen wurde. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass insgesamt hohe Belastungen in den Gelenken auftreten. Der Vergleich von handball- und volleyballspezifischen Landungen zeigt eine unterschiedliche Belastung, die mit einer unterschiedlichen Landetechnik zusammenhängt. Aus der Vielzahl der Landetechnikparameter erwiesen sich die Landehärte und insbesondere der Zeitpunkt des Fersenaufsatzes als diejenigen Parameter, die den größten Einfluss auf die Belastung ausüben. Insgesamt zeigt sich, dass die Belastung durch eine entsprechende Landetechnik deutlich reduziert werden kann.

Beach handball is one of the eighth World Games events held in Kaohsiung in 2009 and is a ball game worthy of being strongly recommended by the people. Purpose: To understand the correlation between the team and the team in the 2016 National Games Women's Beach Handball Championship, the relationship between the team and the team in the scoring time and scoring method. Method: Through the live field video 2016 National Games Women's Beach Handball Championship fifteen games, through the record analysis to obtain the structure of the scores to describe the statistical analysis of the winning team and the team in the score score percentage of the score, The difference between the winning team and the team in the scoring structure, and the correlation between the scoring structure and the result of the game by Pearson product difference correlation. Conclusion: In the 2016 National Games women's beach handball championship, the winning team and the team in the scoring time, scoring method, attack activity, different scoring time, scoring method score and total score, with a significant positive correlation.
