Full textIt is all about efficiency (Det handlar Om kraftinsats) is the title of this study as I, Nina Ek has written as my degree project for the Children and Youths Studies at Malmö University 2010 years winter term. The study builds upon high quality interviews with efficient teachers in the early years of school and observations dealing with boy’s attitude to music and dance education. The aim of this research is to visibly display which expressions pupils show to music and motion education in school and to elucidate the differences in the approach in this subject between boys and girls.. In my earlier research there is an elaboration of the gender studies and psychological research to unravel the concepts applying to when researchers talk about sex and when they talk about gender. You will also encounter an elaboration about how the differences in questions concerning gender differ in the world of esthetics. Researchers within this subject indicates the differences in gender and talks about the boy’s way to “attack” the dance on a way that differs from the girls, the boys bear another kind of efficiency. In interviews with teachers it is told that they perceive differences concerning sex in various ways, although they do agree that this kind of education do not appeal to boys as well as it does with girls. My result is that boys do have a positive attitude to music and dance if they are to get enough space to express themselves. This will be achieved though homogeneous groups and the chance of expressing themselves in different dancing styles, whose styles is more masculine and has a more rapid pace with the power downward.

But also by making more conscious choises in our everyday lives. The aim of this project is to make this a little easier. To help you transport your groceries from for example the store to your home.The process of coming up with what later became the end product, started with interviewing users. Following that, sketches were made and showed to a test group to gather feedback.Physical tests executed, before the final concept was reached: A wagon you cam utilise infour ways. It can be pushed in front of you, while walking. It can be dragged behind, while walking. it can be used as a kick bike and it can be connected to a bicycle.

Full textThe purpose of this work is to find out how consumers buy clothing and how stores can influence customers to buy in the store. The method is based on the search of information through literature, internet, interviews and a survey. The demarcation around the consumer survey is to only study women aged 20-60 years. The inquiry is only sent out through email, Facebook and a customer club in order to save time. The work is based on three main elements: purchase behavior, Marketing and Communications Retail. The theory consists of the relevant facts from various literary works and Internet sites. The theory describes what influences a customer when she shops. It can be: a particular mood, time, marketing, retail communication, service and atmosphere in the shop. The empirical part is based on two interviews with people with great experience in the clothing industry and a survey of women's buying habits aged 20-60 years and how they believe they shop in stores. The questions raised are mostly about what factors stores are working with to create a promotional environment. The results of the two interviews is consistent with one another. Of the responses, no specific patterns in buying behavior can be distinguished. However, it shows the common features and relationships between certain issues. Based on the responses it has also been made three different example customers based on responded to the survey. The example customers could be called: The career woman, the mother and the student. A more thorough survey would have been preferable. The results from the interviews and the survey suggests that there is a connection with how a stores built up a good shop and what women are affected by and can expect from a good shop. The comparison between theory and empirical data show that there are common features on how consumers act in store and how stores can work with various factors such as light, color, scent, music, signs, hanging and store layout to create a promotional environment.

Full textThe competition within the retail market is increasing, both from other retail stores but even from the fast growing internet trade, which puts pressure on the physical stores to have satisfied customers that continues to shop in the store. An approach to face the increasing competition is to have a servicescape that is designed to face the customers’ needs, which assume that the traders knows what their customers’ needs are. If the traders have wrong perception about the needs of their customers there might be a gap that decreases the chance the customers will be satisfied and with it the competitiveness of the stores. A definition has been made to clothing stores, because those are among the stores that are the most exposed to competition. The purpose of this paper have been to map how the customers’ needs agree with or differentiate from what the traders thinks theirs customers needs are. In order to fulfill the purpose a qualitative method with a statistic adaptation i.e. a quantitative adaptation were the results are shown with the help of frequencies and value on a scale was applied. Data was collected with questioners which were designed based on the ten factors that were put together in the theoretical framework. The questioners were shared to both customers and traders in the center of Borlänge and the center of Falun. The result analysis shows that for the factors light (4.2), press (4.5), (4.6), sound (4.7), toilets (4.9), (4.10) a gap existed between the traders perception about the customers’ needs and the reality of those needs. It was also shown that the traders perception for the factors cleaned (4.3), (4.4), entrance & exits (4.8) were even higher than what the customer’s needs really are. The result analysis also shows that the customers’ needs are affected by the customers’ demographic factors age and gender just as it had been discussed in the theoretical framework. The price level of the clothing stores also affected the customers’ expectations of to what degree they could expect to get their needs satisfied as also discussed in the theoretical framework. The conclusion that the authors identified were that there is a gap for the majority of the identified factors between traders’ perception of their customers’ needs and what the customers says that those needs are. Even though the customers say they have those needs it doesn’t mean it agrees with the reality. It´s hard to distinguish any pattern in terms of the gaps, but there is tendencies that can be seen, which results in that each factor should be analyzed individually.

Full textDenna uppsats behandlar referensbindning och makrostruktur i 30 filmrecensioner. Med referensbindning avses den textbindande mekanism som verkar mellan konstituenter (fraser) i en text och som bidrar till att hålla samman texten ämnesmässigt. En kedja av referensbindningar bildar en ledfamilj i texten. En makrostruktur kan definieras relativt mikrostrukturer; gränsen mellan mikrostruktur och makrostruktur kan sägas gå vid korttidsminnets övre kapacitet. För att bestämma makrostrukturerna i ett mindre antal av filmrecensionerna utgår jag från en styckeindelning baserad på textens ledfamiljer. Resultatet av undersökningarna visar bl.a. att filmrecensionerna har en viss uppsättning standardiserade ledfamiljer som svarar mot t.ex. rollfigurerna i filmen. De har också valfria element som alltså inte nödvändigtvis realiseras som ledfamiljer i texten.

The purpose is to investigate how four teachers define subject integration, which the advantages and disadvantages are according to them and what the purpose is whit integrate the core subjects and the character subjects.
The finding in this study highlighted that between themselves the teachers had different definitions of subject integration. In order to start up with a integrated working model the teachers had to come up whit a mutual definition of subject integration.

Full textShopping was previously an activity that mostly women engaged in, but the last few decades, more and more men has begun to show interest in fashion and shopping. In this paper we have chosen to examine how men behave when they shop fashion clothes and how they want to be treated by staff in fashion stores. To examine this, interviews with consumers and staff from fashion stores that offer men's fashion have been conducted. This essay is written is Swedish. Today there are many actors in the fashion industry, giving consumers more options to choose from when they go shopping for clothes. This has led to that fashion companies need to make an effort to compete with each other on the market. One way to differentiate themselves in the market is to offer a high service quality. Store employees have the opportunity to influence customers throughout the buying process and therefore the customer service is a tool, which companies can use in order to gain competitive advantages. The essay writers want to examine whether companies offering menswear are aware of the nature of the customer service their consumers expect and want. Between the service that customers expect and the service that are then delivered in stores creates a gap between expected and perceived service, which can affect whether customers are satisfied or not with their purchase. Based on collected data, we can establish that the interest in fashion and shopping, among men was greater among participating respondents than we expected. Consumers were slightly concerned about the service and have high standards for personnel behaviour. We therefore believe that men should be seen as actors in the fashion market to a greater extent since they seem to inherit a bigger interest for fashion and clothing than expected by the essay writers.

Full textIn the curriculum for pre-school 98 rev 2010 says that a gender work to inspire activity, but research shows that people still treat boys and girls differently. The purpose of this study is to examine how the staff of a school working with gender and see if there are some dilemmas at work. The study has been done at a school in a small municipality, Skåne. The method we use is the qualitative interviews and observations. The results of our study indicate that employees say they work gender-aware and also that there is a climate at the nursery school where the children challenge the stereotypical gender patterns. While showing footage of how people sometimes think they work gender-aware though they forgot to make visible and include this work with the children. The study also shows that the staff is in and re-establish the stereotypical gender patterns.

Full textIn recent times, an extensive digitalization has taken place in society where many companies choose to move their business to the Internet to some extent or completely. For some industries, it has been more optimal to change sales channels, while others have encountered obstacles. The food industry is the industry that dominates the total market, but it has fallen behind in the digitalization. The purpose of this study is to find out which factors that influence consumers to buy groceries online. In order to meet the purpose of the study, a survey study was used. This created the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour. The survey also helped to get as broad a picture of the topic as possible within the given time frame for the writing of the essay. The empirical material was then used as a discussion basis to compare with what previous research has concluded about the topic. The conclusion of the study is that there are still a lot of consumers who do not buy groceries online. The respondents in this study considered that the main factor that influences the fact that they prefer to buy groceries in a physical store is that they want to be able to see and feel the products first. The price of the products and shipping costs are also factors that had a major impact on consumers opinions. The factors that were found to have the greatest impact on how often the respondents buy groceries online were age, size of household, product price, shipping cost, difficult return/reclaim of products and secure payment options.

Full textSom poliser kommer vi dagligen i kontakt med barn i olika situationer. Det kan vara i den brottsförebyggande verksamheten, i den repressiva verksamheten eller i den hjälpande verksamheten. Syftet med vårt arbete har varit att ta reda på vilka förstahandsåtgärder som är viktiga att vidta när barn finns med i bilden och vikten av hur vi poliser bemöter barn i dessa situationer. Information angående ämnet har vi bland annat hämtat genom lagtexter, förarbeten och olika rapporter. Vi har även samtalat med ett antal poliser/barnutredare och personal inom Rädda barnen. Under rubriken resultat presenterar vi sammanfattningar av dessa samtal. De har visat sig att utvecklingen inom detta område gått framåt väldigt mycket de sista åren men att det fortfarande finns saker att arbeta på. När det gäller just förstahandsåtgärder är utbildning, erfarenhet och förmågan att se helheten viktig. Här finns även en del lagstiftning att ta hänsyn till beroende på om barnet är misstänkt, målsägande eller vittne. När vi kommer till bemötande är det på den enskilde polismannens ansvar att se barnet som en självständig individ med egna rättigheter, kunna läsa den för stunden speciella situationen och agera på bästa sätt därefter.

Full textThe aim with the present study was to do an evaluation of Perrongen, a program containing qualified mentors regarding youths being in the danger zone of getting addicted to alcohol and drugs or having problems in their social life, and do a follow-up on the youths taking part in the program. 8 youths took part in the qualitative study, and was interviewed for about an hour each about their background, the time of, and life after, the program with my premise being the family and network of the youths. The results were mainly positive, and all of the participating youths are today living a, on different levels, much healthier life then by the time of the program.

Full textUppsatsen undersöker hur historie- och litteraturdidaktik förhåller sig till subjektiv relevans, det vill säga till individens personliga nytta av respektive ämne. I nuvarande kursplaner för svenska och historia framstår ämnena närmast som underställda det bruk eleven kan göra av dem. Ämnena ska användas till att utveckla elevens identitet, engagemang och förmåga att orientera sig och ta ställning. Även tongivande pedagogisk forskning poängterar betydelsen av att undervisning utgår från elevens referensramar och intressen.
Uppsatsens första del består av en litteraturstudie som diskuterar och jämför centrala begrepp inom respektive ämnesdidaktiskt område. I den andra delen prövas begreppen i en explorativ intervjustudie som undersöker tre lärares och lärarstuderandes uppfattningar om ämnenas subjektiva relevans.
Resultatet pekar på flera områden där historiebruk och litteraturreception har beröringspunkter och möjligheter att berika varandra. Det kan handla om vikten av flerstämmighet, att olika berättelser och tolkningar ställs mot varandra och om hur sådana möten kan resultera i antingen destruktiva krockar eller – om undervisningen förmår att vara lyhörd för elevens kunskaper och behov – om konstruktiva spänningsfält som kan utmana och utveckla eleven. Inte minst berättelser, fiktiva eller historiska, och deras betydelse för identitetsbyggande och orientering i omvärden framstår som ett centralt område väl värt att urforska vidare.

Full textAbstract Background Households produce the biggest amount of food waste and the amount of groceries being bought online increases by every year. A big part of these purchases are pre-planned grocery bags with recipes and associated ingredients, which is an effective concept based on a time-saving perspective. This area was largely unexplored and it is not known how effective it is through a food waste-perspective. Objective The aim with this study was to examine food waste among consumers who bought pre-planned grocery bags online. If there was any food waste, which groceries were thrown and by what reasons? Method A quantitative method has been used where data was collected through an online survey. It was distributed by an ICA-store in Umeå to their customers who bought pre-planned grocery bags, but also on Facebook and different forums on the internet. ResultsA total of 126 respondents participated in the survey and the majority discarded food by every fifth or fewer times and vegetables was discarded the most. Those who bought Family bag were shown to cause food waste more frequently (p=0,025), more fish/meat (p=0,032) and vegetarian products (p=0,032) than those who bought other grocery bags. The results showed large variation regarding the question if the respondents perceived wasting more food when purchasing pre-planned grocery bags online, compared to when they bought groceries in a physical store. Conclusion The majority of the respondents in this study caused a small amount of food waste when purchasing pre-planned grocery bags and the reasons to food waste were shown to be many with great variation. Two common reasons to food waste were that the recipes weren’t appealing and food didn’t taste good enough. This can be interpreted that the grocery bags weren’t optimized in a food waste perspective. To purchase Family bag were shown to be significative with increased food waste.

I Sverige har det statliga apoteketsmonopolet ifrågasatts en längre tid och regeringen utreder nu möjligheten att konkurrensutsätta läkemedelsförsäljningen. Det har även föreslagits i den statliga utredningen (SOU 2008:4 del 2) att ett begränsat sortiment av OTC läkemedel (over the counter = receptfria läkemedel) ska få säljas i dagligvaruhandeln utan farmaceutiskt kompetenskrav. Vid korrekt användning och tillgång till rätt rådgivning kan OTC läkemedel vara till en stor hjälp för den enskilde individen vid egenvård och därigenom också bidra till avlastning på sjukvårdens resursers. Vid felanvändning av OTC läkemedel (över/underdosering, fel indikationsområde etc.), kan de istället få motsatt effekt. Syftet med denna enkätstudie var därför att utforska om konsumenter av OTC läkemedel i Sverige önskar få tillgång till dessa läkemedel i t ex livsmedelsbutiker, där de inte har tillgång till personlig farmaceutisk rådgivning, vidare var avsikten att undersöka hur de i dagligvaruhandeln önskade få läkemedelsinformation. I februari 2008 gjordes en enkätstudie i Västervik som inkluderade 48 deltagare varav 29 kvinnor och 19 män. Studien visade att 71 % av deltagarna hade en positiv inställning till att köpa OTC läkemedel i livsmedelsbutiker, 58 % skulle skaffa information genom läkemedelsförpackning och bipacksedel i kombination med att de tidigare använt läkemedlet. Önskan om tillgång till personlig rådgivning på inköpsstället var störst i åldern ≤ 35 år, där 38 % ansåg sig vilja det. Slutsats av studien är att majoriteten vill kunna handla OTC läkemedel i dagligvaruhandeln och information skulle de få främst från läkemedelsförpackning/bipacksedel i kombination med erfarenheter från tidigare användning.

Full textSexuella övergrepp på barn är något som de allra flesta har starka känslor kring. Syftet med studien är att utifrån fem biografier söka efter information till vad som kan tolkas vara ett bra bemötande med utgångspunkt ifrån de utsatta barnens perspektiv. För att kunskapen kan användas i det sociala arbetet i mötet med barn som varit utsatta för sexuella övergrepp. Metoden som använts är en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats. Resultatet visar att det som socialarbetare i mötet med barn som varit utsatta för sexuella övergrepp är oerhört viktigt att ha tålamod och inte pressa barnen. Socialarbetare ska kunna tänka utanför de vanliga ramarna och skapa en trygg miljö för dessa barn, det kan föra med sig att socialarbetaren når barnen på djupet som gör att de öppnar sig. Resultatet visar även att desto fortare barnen kommer till en trygg miljö och vågar prata om sina upplevelser desto bättre blir barnens läkningsprocess.

Full textAbstract The Purpose of this paper is to, through analysis of how the organizational structure of the Swedish music industry looks, come to a conclusion of what factors might be behind an industry's success. The case study have been done by using a qualitative research method and the primary data is collected by semi-structured qualitative interviews We came to the conclusion that how an organization and the cluster an industry operates within, is of great importance for its success. Social capital is important in a cluster. It is therefore of great importance to be part of the social scene, but it requires that actors within the social scene accept new actors to enter. Collaborations that exceed industry boundaries have become of more importance as globalization have put increasing pressure on innovation and creative solutions to solve problems. To operate within clusters provide organizational benefits like collaborations, knowledge spillover and increased creativity. But it can also give negative effects such as homogeneity and parochialism. Better results are achieved when stakeholders work together and the idea of "Do It Yourself" is not true.
