The risk-oriented approach in ensuring industrial safety is intended to orient industrialists, supervisory authorities and the expert community in the existing emergency hazards and threats of today industrial Russia. In recent decades, there is a dangerous trend of opportunistic introduction of universal criteria for safe operation. In fact, instead of a risk-oriented approach, a risk-prescriptive approach is proposed. This study aims to identify potential hazards and risks using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method that exist in each work sequence, as well as determine risk criteria, provide risk assessment and risk control. The stages of data processing start from sequencing work steps, identifying hazards and risks, assessing the risk of potential hazards and determining proposals for controlling potential hazards. The results of this study found that the potential hazards that can cause injuries and work

At present, the issue of public safety in the production and manipulation of hazardous chemicals deserves more attention, since various major accidents such as fires, explosions and toxic gas releases take place frequently. The issue of prevention of emergency events has become more and more topical. The growing amount of hazardous substances transported leads to increased risk of emergencies. In order to reduce this risk in the transport of hazardous substances, a number of technical, operational, traffic and safety conditions and requirements must be fulfilled. These all contribute to the re

This research deals with the interest in production of Cu-Sn-Zn ternary alloy coating via electroplating on carbon substrate by using less hazardous electrolyte. A detailed study was made on the effect of different concentration of reducing and complexing agents. The surface morphology and phase structure of the deposited layers were examined by scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS), respectively. The results confirmed that the layers of Cu-Sn-Zn was obtained with this less hazardous electrolyte.

Based on qualitative empirical research in Northeast India, this paper explores the reasons why dam safety and hazard potential are often marginal topics in hydropower governance and its contestation.
