Abstract The Himalayan Rivers have a complex nature in terms of hydraulics and sediment transport capacity, which is a great challenge for civil and hydraulic engineers in designing the headworks of a hydropower project. The conventional and numerical analysis and design of hydraulic structures only are inadequate to represent the behavior of a complex river system. Hence, the physical models of hydraulic structures are the only tools that can be used to analyze complex behavior and efficiently design headworks on such rivers. One of the stated recommendations is to follow the theoretical postulate: one headword (simple or combined) unlocks one dictionary entry.

Abstract:
Short text similarity computation plays an important role in various natural language processing tasks. Siamese neural networks are widely used in short text similarity calculation. However, due to the complexity of syntax and the correlation between words, siamese networks alone cannot achieve satisfactory results. Many studies show that the use of an attention mechanism will improve the impact of key features that can be utilized to measure sentence similarity. In this paper, a similarity calculation method is proposed which combines semantics and a headword attention mechanism. First, a BiG

Abstract:
The study aims to investigate the pragmatic information in Chinese-English dictionaries. A general survey was made to examine the status quo of the pragmatic information in the existing Chinese-English dictionaries. It was found that all large- and medium-sized dictionaries under investigation provided some pragmatic information. However, these dictionaries only provided the pragmatic information about the Chinese headword but not the English equivalent. The author argues that since the target users of these dictionaries are Chinese EFL learners, they should state clearly the pragmatic differe

Abstract:
In Indonesia, water is public goods so it is necessary to control water allocation. Inequity of water allocation between water users is expanding largely, including irrigation as the largest user, while the density of headworks in the river are getting higher. Considering that water is limited, the practice of irrigation water allocation needs to be refined, from the traditional equity to volumetric equity. MEQAA (Model Equalisasi Alokasi Air/Equalization Model of Water Allocation) plays a role in determining water sharing between headworks in order to meet the maximum-equal K-factor in river.
