Purpose: The problem of optic disc drusen (ODD) has been described in detail in several publications. However, less attention has been devoted to real haemodynamic parameters (HP) in ODD. It has been clinically demonstrated that the occurrence and progression of changes in the visual field in ODD are closely linked with the haemodynamics of the vascular supply of the eye – the optic nerve. ODD may visually overlap excavation of the disc of the optic nerve, on the basis of which it is more difficult to evaluate changes (scotomas) in the visual field in the case of glaucoma. In order to increase life span and mortal period we must find an alternative treatment and so we have the rich ancient wisdom from Ayurveda. We have to utilize this knowledge scientifically so that we can understand their action and use them to cure diseased person. Objective: To evaluate the heamodynamic action of herbo-mineral compound in healthy individual. Material & Method: Four healthy individuals were selected for the study. Each

Aim: To compare the efficacy of IV fentanyl with IV clonidine with regards to attenuation of haemodynamic changes during laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation. Methodology: This study was undertaken in Mamata Medical College, Khammam from August 2018 amongst 90 ASA grade I and II patients in the age group of 18 to 45 years. Patients were allocated into three groups with the sample size of 30 each after a detailed pre-anesthetic evaluation was done. Group A was control with normal saline, Group B had Inj. AbstractTo fully understand the histological, morphometrical and heamodynamic variations of different supratesticular artery regions, 20 mature and healthy Assaf rams were examined through ultrasound and morphological studies. The testicular artery images of the spermatic cord as shown by B-mode analysis indicated a tortuous pattern along its course toward the testis, although it tends to be less tortuous close to the inguinal ring. Doppler velocimetric values showed a progressive decline in flow velocity, in addition to pulsatility and vessel resistivity when entering the testis, where there

Introduction:Good management of postoperative pain in thoracic surgery is essential. This pain leads to inefficient ventilation. Good analgesia can provide effective pain relief. Paravertebral block is an effective alternative method without the side effects of a thoracic epidural. The aim of this study is to compare the efficiency of thoracic epidural and paravertebral block in providing analgesia to patients undergoing thoracic surgery. Introduction: Dexmedetomidine is an a2 agonist that causes deep sedation after bolus, and can be given as infusion while performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) brain in paediatric patients. There are reports of increased incidences of bradycardia and hypotension with prolonged recovery when it was used in high doses of 2-3 mcg/kg bolus. Lower dose of bolus may enhance the recovery profile and reduce the chances of bradycardia, while maintaining the efficacy of sedation. Aim: To compare the induction of sedation, haemodynamics stability, success rate of the scan, efficacy of the drug and r

Abstract Interpretation of cortical laminar functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) activity requires detailed knowledge of the spatiotemporal haemodynamic response across vascular compartments due to the well-known vascular biases (e.g. the draining veins). Further complications arise from the fact that the spatiotemporal hemodynamic response differs depending on the duration of stimulation. Information about heamodynamic response characteristics across different stimulus durations, cortical depth and vascular compartments is crucial for future studies using depth-dependent cerebral bloo
