The premiere of The Carrier Frequency took place in 1984, the result of a collaboration between Leeds-based Impact Theatre Cooperative and the novelist Russell Hoban. Impact was founded in 1978 by Claire MacDonald, Pete Brooks, Steve Schill, Graeme Miller, Tyrone Huggins, and Richard Hawley, with Nikki Johnson and Heather Ackroyd joining in subsequent years. Many companies since have cited Impact as a major inspiration, with The Carrier Frequency in particular achieving almost mythic status. Abstract:
With the rapid development of Internet and technology, digital marketing strategy has become a heated topic in company operation. In the increasingly fierce online market competition, newly emerged problems urge companies to apply digital marketing strategies. In this study, a major Chinese clothing company Li-Ning is analyzed by using the Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat analysis method, which can clearly indicate the current situation of the Li-Ning company. By making comparisons of Li-Ning company’s advantages and shortcomings and considering the challenges and opportunities in the spor

The plate-type heat exchanger is found to be well suited for the application of a transcritical CO2 heat pump water heater. A CO2 heat pump water heater test facility was used to evaluate the performance of a high-pressure plate-type heat exchanger. The performance characteristics of heat exchanger effectiveness, capacity, and pressure drop were evaluated over a range of CO2 gas cooler inlet pressures and temperatures. For the ambient temperature range of 10°C to 30°C, the maximum observed capacities ranged from 4.46 kW to 5.34 kW, with the capacity increasing approximately linearly with incre

The increasing evolution of financial products and global economic instability have made financial decisions increasingly complex. Therefore, financial literacy is necessary to enable an assessment of the financial position and economic situation of the population. In this context, the Brazilian Financial Health Index (I-SFB), developed by Febraban and BCB, in 2021, aims to understand the financial situation of Brazilians to develop effective educational actions. This study aimed to verify the influence exerted by financial literacy on financial health through statistical analysis, with the or

This paper does a comprehensive research on SHE Case definition, objectives, standards, requirements and content involved in Oil & Gas operating company. The SHE case is developed as a demonstration that all necessary work has been carried out to ensure that risks have been reduced to ‘As Low As Reasonably Practicable’ (ALARP). Through research on SHE case requirements and content, we can see that SHE case can be used to prevent major accident.

Abstract:
In this paper, the fabrication and optimization of a spiral-tube heat exchanger (STHE) were considered for improving the heat transfer rate and efficiency of traditional instantaneous water heaters. The large number of instantaneous water heaters exported from the customers of the “Garman Gas Toos” company, which was mainly due to corrosion and leakage, imposed a lot of cost and credit reduction for this company. The high energy consumption was the second reason that justified working on a new STHE. The main innovation of this research is the design and construction of a new heat exchanger wit

Abstract Background The Phase III IMpower010 study (NCT02486718) met its primary endpoint at the disease-free survival (DFS) interim analysis (IA; clinical cutoff: Jan 21, 2021), demonstrating significant DFS improvement with atezolizumab (atezo) vs best supportive care (BSC) after adjuvant chemotherapy (chemo) in patients with resected stage II-IIIA NSCLC, including those with PD-L1 TC ≥1%. Based on these findings, atezo was approved as adjuvant therapy after platinum-based chemo in patients with completely resected PD-L1 TC ≥1% stage II-IIIA NSCLC in the US, China and other countries, and in

Abstract:
The History of Little Henry and His Bearer (1814), an Evangelical tract, was published on the heels of the Charter Act of 1813, an act of Parliament of the United Kingdom that introduced more regulation of the East India Company and legalized missionary work in India. The act implicitly rationalized expanding British dominance, invoking the moral mission to save the heathen. Little Henry captures this zeitgeist and was received enthusiastically by a readership newly interested in additional imperial expansion as a means of bringing civilization to the colonial world (Regaignon 89).

Within the field of competition law the question of jurisdiction is able to ignite an extremely heated debate. For example, when the American company Boeing decided to acquire the American company McDonnel Douglas both the US and the EU competition authorities engaged in an investigation of the transaction. The fact that the Community commenced an investigation, and even appeared to consider a prohibition, of the merger caused an uproar amongst some American politicians. These politicians claimed that the merger was a purely American matter and that the Community's competition authorities had
