The basic regularities of the distribution of heavy metals’migration pedogeochemical barriers in soil profile of the chernozems ordinary and southern at Kryvy Rih mining and metallurgical regions were analyzed. It was pointed out that heavy metals’migration pedogeochemical barriers is a part of the soil horizon or soil profile, where there is a significant concentration of individual chemical elements as a consequence of the substitution-reaction phenomenon. Pedogeochemical barriers are classified into five types: mechanical, physical, physical and chemical, chemical and biological. The spread

Modern studies of chernozem soils in the northwestern Black Sea region have shown intense dehumification due to disruption of biogeochemical cycles caused by anthropogenic removal of organic matter and associated biophile elements. At former time, the humus zoning was typical for southern chernozems and now we noted the smoothing of this zoning. Acid-base buffering has a significant role in counteracting degradation processes, the buffering parameters could be integral indicators of soil chemicals balance. Under these soil and climatic conditions, an important criterion for choosing technology is the volumetric mass of the soil.

Timothy grass began to be used as a fodder crop in the north of the Non-Chernozem zone of Russia more than 400 years ago, most often it was sown together with meadow clover. These two species have quite similar biorhythms of development. Then this culture began to spread widely, first in Europe, and then around the world. The main advantages of Timothy grass are high ecological plasticity, good adaptability to heavy soils, and longevity. Modern varieties are characterized by good resistance to diseases, adverse weather conditions and relatively good quality indicators of the resulting feed.
